Bless Me to Enable Me To

Are you willing to?

It is our natural inclination to close our ears to words we do not wish to listen to.

Are you willing to suppress that and listen to The Holy Spirits voice as He convicts you?

It is our natural inclination to hate our enemies and make them suffer as much as we can.

Are you willing to love them?

That is not the mushy nonsense you see in movies or on TV.

It is an effort that can only be accomplished by surrendering to the power of The Holy Spirit. It does not mean that you condone nor tolerate abusive behaviour. If you love them you will help them to understand why they are abusive ( many times it is because of abuse they have suffered and have not been healed of ) and help them get counselling. If you love them you will not empower them by allowing this behaviour to continue but will allow them to suffer the consequences of their actions.

Purge yourself of toxic folks less their poison kills your love and you are rewarded with nothing but misery in return. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Are you willing to pray for Jehovah to open your eyes to the problem and to the solution ( including the fact that the problem may not be them but may be you ).

When others hate us it is natural to hate them back.

Are you willing to love your enemies by understanding why they hate you and seek reconciliation in the relationship. If they refuse are you willing to love them enough to behave in a respectful manner towards them. Are you willing to pray for Jehovah to open your eyes to the problem and to the solution ( including the fact that the problem may not be them but may be you ).

Please Jehovah ELOHIM YAKOL (God, the Most Able 2 Corinthians 9:8 ) bless me to enable me to conduct myself towards difficult folks in the noble manner in which Your gracious son Jesus Christ did. I wish not just for peace in this relationship but to use this situation to glorify You and to bring the little lost sheep into Your Heavenly fold. Please bless me with the strength and healing of ostracizing myself from toxic folks until they accept that their behaviour is not loving nor acceptable.

It is in the name of He who exemplified Christian behaviour towards others, Jesus Christ, that I humbly beseech You. Amen

Some words have been changed to first person so it is us personally that He is speaking to. This makes them far more effective and powerful.

The Holy Spirit is the best cleaner of all. When we daily surrender our dark thoughts to Him that satan places there, He will sweep them clean out of our heads and replace them with the sweet brilliant light of Jehovahs love.

When there is a battle in our mind and it seems as if the devil is going to win, call in the Holy Spirit. The demons run with sparks flying off their feet when the Holy Spirit enters into the fray.

When it appears as if satan is going to win the battle for my mind, I call upon the ultimate Warrior to come to my defense, The Holy Spirit. Satan and his lackeys run like their pants are on fire when He enters the ring.  Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Gador Milchamah (The Lord is Mighty in Battle Psalms 24:8 ) that You are the ultimate fighter and winner in the constant battle for my mind. Which No One Can Defeat

 “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, worry, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.  And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as Jehovah in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:31-32 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Anger truly pollutes the mind.

How many times do we allow anger to boil like a tea kettle and then blow off steam and say words we regret later?

I have found that when anger begins small in my mind I immediately pray to Jehovah for control. He always answers and a disaster is prevented.

I have found that when rehashing incidents in the mind that cause anger, the mind becomes inflamed like a fire with anger and destructive thoughts come to mind on how to avenge the wrong. This, of course leads to disaster.

I have found that when these thoughts enter the mind to immediately pray to my Heavenly Father and He extinguishes those thoughts like a water bomber extinguishes as forest fire.

This is not a one off experience but a daily battle against satan and his goons. They are too strong and witty for me.

The best defense that brings victory for these battles is to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to make me sensitive to them and immediately call in the Holy Warrior which no one can defeat, The Holy Spirit.

Here are a few victory verses. Write them down. Repeat them every morning like you are talking with Jehovah. Carry them with you.

Only by your power can I push back my enemies; only in your name can I trample my foes. Psalms 44:5 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation I am not afraid, for the Holy Spirit is with me.

I am not discouraged, for Jehovah is my God. Jesus strengthens me and helps me. He holds me up with His victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Gibbor Milchamah (Psalms 24:8 The LORD Mighty In Battle) for helping me live a victorious life every day through Your help when I need it and through Your protection when the attacks are too strong for me. Thank you for being so patient with me in this continuing battle that will last all the way to Heavens Gate. As a Christian I

If you listen obediently to the Voice of God, your God, and heartily obey all his commandments that I command you today, God, your God, will place you on high, high above all the nations of the world. Normally I keep politics out of my blog but because this is, in my opinion, a very important election in Canada as a Christian I feel it my duty to educate all Christians in this country to the alternative to the main political parties.

Have lived through numerous parties in power I have seen that, in my opinion, they do not represent Christian values.

Therefore in this election I have voted for the Christian Heritage party. Their platform represents what I believe needs to be done in this country to improve our economic, educational, environmental, judicial and security.

Shall We not Accept Adversity?

 Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” Job 2:10 Holy Bible, New King James Version                                                                                  Sorry to bust the bubble of those who believe Jesus is a genie who only live to give us our hearts desires but when you are a true Christian expect to experience a lot of adversity in your walk to Heaven.                                                                                                                                                                                                               “Persecution for righteousness’ sake is what every child of God must expect.” Charles Simeon That however is a blessing not a curse.                                                                                                                                                                                                                        You see in my life this is the pattern that has been with me since my walk to Heaven began: The closer you get to Jehovah the more satan is going to torment you and persecute you in the belief that you will be weak and the suffering too strong and give up your walk with Christ.                                                                                                      That is partly true.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 We are weaker than satan but nothing or no one is stronger that Christ. So when persecution and hard times come it drives a Christian to our knees in prayer to Christ. He will abundantly supply us with the power to overcome. That in turn creates a heart that overflows with love and respect for Jesus which draws us closer to Him.                                The closer we get to Christ the more we are going to suffer. The more we suffer, the closer we get to Christ. Joseph- Anthony: Green                                                       When I was in Asia and informed Christians there that I was a Christian the first question they asked was:” How much have you suffered for Christ?”                            Returning to the west it is sad to say that the majority of so called Christians I have met are marshmallow Christians. They want the blessings of Christ but are not prepared to endure the sufferings.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         “The early church was married to poverty, prisons and persecutions. Today, the church is married to prosperity, personality, and popularity Leonard Ravenhill                Although I do not enjoy the suffering I am eternally grateful for them because it is through them that I have been blessed with a close intimacy with Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit that could not and would not have occurred any other way.                                                                                                                                                           Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-‘Uzam (The Lord is our Strength in Trouble) for blessing me with Your divine strength, comfort and peace during the times of satanic attack by his wicked disciples. I praise You in the name of He who defeated satan in the empty grave Jesus Christ. He also Brought Me Up.

He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. Psalm 40:2

When I was a tree planter and we worked in deep mud it clung to our boots and made walking extremely labourous and difficult. Clay clings to you when wet and hardens like cement when it dries out.

What situation are you in that is clinging to you and dragging you into exhaustion, frustration and desperation? Is it a habit that is destroying your life?

You do not need self help groups or satanic politically correct filth that teaches that if you work real hard you will conquer whatever problem you have in your life.

You need the power of the Holy Spirit which Jehovah abundantly blesses us with when we surrender it unto Him. Now it may happen instantaneously or it may take a while.

When I surrendered the destructive addiction of alcoholism to Jehovah the Holy Spirit instantly crushed it and expelled it from me. When I decided to quit smoking it was a daily battle (at the time of this writing it has been two months and the struggle is still continuing). Some times I gave in and had a smoke but the determination is there to destroy this filthy habit. I know it cannot be done by my own will power but by working with the Holy Spirit we will eventually eternally eliminate it from my body.

Either way, the Lord will bless you with firm footing to not only destroy the wicked destructive habit but He will bless you with a new firm path that leads you to a deeper love and appreciation for Him. When that happens and you encounter someone else trying to battle a destructive habit it is your duty to give testimony of how Jehovah freed you from your slavery and encourage them lovingly.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Mephalti (The Lord my Deliverer) for blessing me with delivering me from destructive habits that were too strong for me to conquer on my own by Your mighty power. I exalt Thee in the name of He who is the name we call upon to rescue us from all devastating weaknesses Jesus Christ. Amen.

You Healed Me.

It was in my hard times that Jehovah accomplished His greatest work in my life. Joseph- Anthony: Green

At one time there were undesirable traits in me that Jehovah needed to expel from my being before He could use me. They were the most agonizing and difficult times in my life yet I praise Him for them. That may sound crazy but it is true.

Take spitefulness for example. If you crossed me I could be the most evil and cruel soul you have ever encountered. Folks would literally get on their knees and beg me to stop. These needed to be burned away from me before Jehovah could use me which He did. He arranged for some agitators to continuously torment me. I wanted revenge but He told me to stand there and take it. It was more than I could handle so I cried out to Him to bless me with the strength to with stand these attacks which He abundantly did. Through these awful times He taught me to depend upon Him for strength.

The flip side of the coin was when Jehovah extracted His vengeance upon my tormentors which He arranged for me to witness. When His justice was preformed in my site a small quiet voice said to me:” Seek not revenge but leave vengeance in the hands of the Lord for He knows how to perform true justice.” When I saw the Lords vengeance I was terrified of it. Through this process I learned to depend upon Jehovah for strength and for His divine justice to be executed (yes it is okay for Christians to call upon the Lord for justice to be done unto those who have wronged us).

This is but one example of how He burned off the dross of stubbornness, independence, and spitefulness in my life. Burning off the dross is what they do to metal to make it pure. It is put through a furnace and the useless stuff is melted away to leave a pure metal.

Jehovah puts us all through the furnace of afflictions to burn off our undesirable qualities to make us pure in His eyes. That does not mean we are perfect. It means our hearts bodies and minds belong to Him and Him alone. Through this process He healed me of a lot deep hurt and anger that was in my life.

It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light. Anonymous

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-M’Kaddesh (The Lord is my Sanctifier) for blessing me with crucifying anything that was worshiped above You in my life and for the blessing of burning off of the dross of all things that impeded my growth into the holy child You have intended for me to be. We all have addictions, that is why we need the power of Christ within us to be victorious over them. Joseph- Anthony: Green

We are all addicted to something and many have more that one so please do not behave as if you are the only one suffering from yours. The Bible confirms it with- No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. Those of us who are Christians have the greatest power to conquer them in the power of the Holy Spirit. Now He may heal you instantly like He did my alcoholism or He may guide you to resources to help you conquer it like He did my smoking addiction but He will always be faithful to guide you to the road to recovery.

Do you believe that God is near? He wants you to. He wants you to know that He is in the midst of your world. Wherever you are as you read these words, He is present.–Max Lucado

The temptation will never leave you for good. Sometimes it will be subtle and sometimes it will be strong to return to your addiction but the Holy Spirit will always bless you with knowledge and strength to defeat the devils snare.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 Holy Bible, New King James Version

Prayer: For the addicted:Oh please merciful Father in Heaven bless me with the Holy Spirits presence in my life to conquer this addiction. I know that it is too strong for me but that nothing is too strong for you. Please guide me to the resources needed to help me with this problem and the strength to be obedient unto your leading.

For the recovered addict: Thank you oh my amazing Father for smashing the chains of my addiction. Please help me to continue to walk in this freedom and bless me with Your powerful strength and wisdom to defeat the wicked one when he comes a knocking. I humbly request this and thank you in the name of He who has forever conquered all demons of addiction Jesus Christ. Amen.

He Hears You.

O You who hear prayer. Psalm 65:2 New King James Version

When you pray you are not praying to a dead idol made of wood or metal or some make believe fellow like Santa Claus or to dead souls, like the saints. That is foolishness.

Instead with reverence, love and sincerity pray to the living God whose throne is in Heaven.

He hears your cry when suffering sorrow. He blesses you with answers that give reassurance and healing.

He hears your cry when you need help. He answers with protection and resources to conquer your adversary.

He hears your cry when you are alone and feel dejected. He blesses you with filling you with His Divine love, comfort and encouragement. He hears your cry when you need guidance in your life. He blesses you with resources and guidance councilors to show you the path you must take.

He hears your cry when you are remorseful He not only forgives you but guides you in the proper manner to reconcile with the one you have done wrong. This blesses you with peace in your spirit.

He hears your cry when you need to learn something. He blesses you with wise teachers and mentors that reveal the knowledge you need.    And of course it is with pure delight he hears your song of praise for His love. To Him that is the sweetest song that ever exists. Of course when we are in a loving relationship we delight in sharing with the one we love how much we love them.

He cherishes your prayer of thank you when He blesses you. That is the respectful thing to do is it not? When you help someone does it not feel good when they thank you? How much more than should we thank our Beloved Father in Heaven when He blesses us?

You do not need to make an appointment and he is never too busy. Jehovah is always there, Jehovah always cares. Joseph- Anthony: Green

When you continuously continue in a weakness (like being short tempered) He does not become exasperated with you and give up on you. When you honesty are repentant and humbly ask for forgiveness He will forgive you and thousand times a thousand.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Heseh (God is love) for being such a loving Father to this cherished child of Yours. Thank you for Your blessings of Your Hoy love, strength, wisdom, comfort and encouragement as Your never end provisions. I praise You in the name of Your most special blessing Your Holy Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

He is Your Best Stress Buster

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7 New International Version

Think of Christ as your best friend. You can unload all your problems upon Him. He is the wisest and knows how best to handle your problem. You can take all your worries, pains and frustrations to Him. He loves you and He cares.

Now we must have faith and be patient.

Jesus works in His time, not ours.

Speaking from personal experience it took fourteen years of agonizing prayer and faith before Christ delivered me from my addiction to alcohol.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Shalom  (God of our peace) for the warm rays of peace that envelope me whenever the dark clouds of stress begin to encompass me and I call upon Your peaceful serene love to evaporate them. I joyously praise You for this wonderful blessing in the name of the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ. Amen.
