It is Not the Gospel You Believe

Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what Gods will is. His good pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

I have met many that believe they can do what they want and it is okay. No matter how much scripture you share with them that their ways are wrong they refuse to listen.

The worst offenders of course are the fools that believe that once they accept Christ as their savior they can do what ever they like and they are still saved.

The next biggest group of fools are those that believe because Jesus is love everyone will be given a free pass to Heaven no matter how they lived their lives here on earth.

Boy are they in for a shock on judgement day.

“If you believe what you like in the gospel, and reject what you don’t like, it is not the gospel you believe, but yourself.” St. Augustine of Hippo

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God our Teacher) for teaching me the truth that is in the Bible.

Thank you for blessing me with helping me incorporate that in my life when it is difficult to do so, so that I may continue to mature in our Heavenly loving relationship.

I praise You in the name of He who lives the most righteous life of all Jesus Christ. Amen

You’re in Very Good Company.

Waiting is an exercise in patience and trust in the Lord.

Sometimes it takes a day, some times it takes months, sometimes it takes years and some times it takes decades for the Lord to complete His work.

It is not dependent upon the Lord how long it takes for fruition of prayers to occur.

It depends upon the right time and place and for the soul you are praying for to become receptive to the Lords call.

For me it took over twenty years for a certain prayer to come to completion.

Even now it still has not been fully answered but is progressing quite nicely. Now even when the prayer is not answered the way you desire it will still be answered.

“Joseph waited 15 years. Abraham waited 25 years. Moses waited 40 years. Jesus waited 30 years. If God is making you wait, you’re in very good company.” Anonymous

So say you are praying for a home in a nice neighborhood but all’s you get is something in the poor section of town. While there you are ministering to those in need. Upon reflection years later you realize that Jehovah chose the right place for you and you would not change places if the house in the nice neighborhood were to be offered to you for free.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh ( God provides ) for not providing for me what I am not ready to receive.

Thank you for delivering when it is the proper time and the proper place.

I jubilantly praise You in the name of He who came at just the right time to save the world Jesus Christ. Amen

Can you walk up to a stranger you no nothing about and start lavishing praise upon them?

Of course not.

So how can you sing praises to an unknown God?

That is why I believe all these concerts with folks waving their hands in the air and singing praise to Jesus in Contemporary Christian Music concerts is a shame. Ask those on stage on in the audience how much of a relationship they have with Christ and most will give you a blank look.

The longer I have been in a loving relationship with Jehovah and the more I get to know Him the deeper the love, admiration and respect for Him. It is with great sincerity and admiration that I worship Him in my daily life, in my daily prayers and in my daily songs unto Him. This causes great songs of love , praise and worship to be sung unto my Heavenly Beloved.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Heseh (God is love) for generously sharing Your love with me. In return with a heart full of gratitude, wonder, awe and respect my love for You rules supreme in my heart.

That is Our Great Need Today.

Repulsive means to arouse aversion or disgust.

This means the devious who are liars, scammers and manipulators are disgusting in the Lords eyes. They are like dung to Him.

Unfortunately we see this conduct polluting every aspect of society today. From individual families to those in the highest office. From those teaching in schools to those in the retail industry. It is like a plague that is killing societies and countries.

What we need it parents and grandparents that lead by example in teaching their children righteous morals, their children’s eternity depends upon it.

Teachers are the next building block in society. We need Godly teachers showing children how to live a Godly ethical life both inside the classroom and out of it.

We need politicians that are doing what is right for society and not to enrich themselves.

We need industry leaders that pay decent wages, and provide good quality products at a reasonable price.

Unfortunately I see societies in the world rotting away like rotten eggs. They are foul to the Lord and foul to me.

Us Christians are never needed as great in history to set an example of integrity and proper morals as we are today.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Tsidkenu (The Lord is Righteousness) for blessing me with teaching me Your supreme righteousness and the help You have amply supplied to Your child to become a righteous member of Your Holy family.

May I honor You by exhibiting these qualities to the world to guide them unto You and to a respectful life.

In the Quiet Moments

                                                        

The Lord is near to the heartbroken Psalm 34:18 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

I cannot count the number of times worry, sorrow, frustration and anger were so deep with in my soul it felt like a blanket of heavy steel completely encompassing my whole being. Jehovah always led me to a quiet place and there He comforted me, encouraged me and strengthened me.

So many folks laughed and wrote me off thinking I was totally demolished and a failure. The shock to them when they saw me return and go right back at it with gusto was quite humorous.

Sometimes this process was repeated numerous times but there was always victory in the end.

It does not matter what your situation in life there are always times when we need to be alone with our Beloved for Him to care for us both mentally, spiritually and physically.

“Be still, and in the quiet moments, listen to the voice of your heavenly Father. His words can renew your spirit. No one knows you and your needs like He does.” Janet L. Weaver

Prayer: Thank you YAHWEH Ropheka (God our healer) for blessing me with Your gentle loving reassurance, strength and comfort in my numerous times of need. I love You and adore Your for Your abundant grace You have bestowed upon this adoring child of Your. I exalt Thee in the name of the best Healer of all Jesus Christ. Amen

So They Could.

                          

So the Jews surrounded Him and began saying to Him, “How long are You going to keep us in suspense? If You are [really] the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed), tell us so plainly and openly.” John 10:24 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

The Jewish leaders knew who Jesus was by the words He spoke and what He had done. They were looking to entrap Him so they could crucify Him. The were so wrapped up in religion that they knowingly rejected God. They refused to listen to Him because they are not His sheep.

Too often there are those in power in churches that believe they can do whatever they want with complete impunity. When you try to discuss it with them they become very offensive and try to use Bible verses to entrap you, to shame you and enslave you to their doctrine not Christ’s. These wicked creatures are doing satans work, not Christ’s. They will pay a heavy penalty for it on judgement day. They do more to drive folks away from Christ than towards Him.

I suffered because of these wicked souls when one of my parents was a member of a certain cult in my teenage years. Those that are still alive today are not powerful but weak pitiful souls. Those that have passed on died alone, weak and in a pitiful state.

I have unfortunately met many that can quote from the Bible but refuse to live by it. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Magen (The Lord my Shield) for blessing me with Your  impenetrable shield to protect me from the vile attacks of the upsurgers of Your Divine word and for encouraging me when they do occasionally penetrate to my heart in a moment of weakness.

I glorify Thee in the name of He whose shield was too powerful for any of His foes to penetrate Jesus Christ. Amen

I Love to Listen To

                                       

“With the aged [you say] is wisdom, And with long life is understanding. Job 12:12 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Being in my elder years I have been on both sides of the coin.

In my younger years I loved to listen to elders for advice (not all of them of course, only the righteous ones). This has prevented a lot of disasters in my life.

When I was stubborn and ignored their advice it always ended it catastrophe.

Now, being in my elder years myself, I love to offer my experience to the younger generation.

Most of them foolishly believe they can get all the wisdom they need from the internet and that us old foggies are stupid. That is a very unwise decision to make.

I love to listen to old foggies. Now not all of the elderly are wise and should not be listened to, only listen to the righteous ones.

Your elders have more of lifes experience than you. Listen to them and prevent a lot of hardships in your life. Arrogantly ignore them at your own peril. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God our Teacher) for blessing me with all those Godly teachers You have guided me to guided to me for sharing their prudent advice in my life.

Thank you my Beloved for blessing me with the opportunity to share my discretion with those who are less experienced in life (no matter their age) so as to guide them away from disaster and towards success.

Why is the Voice Behind You?

                                 

Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left. Isaiah 30:21 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Why is the voice behind you?

It is because you are walking ahead of Jehovah. Once He has given you and assignment you go on ahead of Him without asking for His guidance. That is a sure recipe for disaster.

Believe me, I know from plenty of experience.

When you are going the wrong direction the Holy Spirit will come and gently provide guidance and redirection to you. It is in your best interest to be obedient unto Him.

Going your way leads to disaster. Going Jehovah’s way is a guaranteed way to succeed. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: All praise and glory unto You Jehovah KalEl (voice of God) for blessing me with gently speaking to me when I begin to stray from the path in which You have chosen for this child of Yours to take. May I always listen, understand and obey Your wise voice so as to avert certain disasters.

It is Impossible To

 

Those who are in the flesh [living a life that caters to sinful appetites and impulses] cannot please God. Romans 8:8 The Holy Bible Amplified Version 

Because Jehovah is spirit we cannot please Him if we are consistently living a destructive life of fleshly pleasure. He desires you to mature in spirit because that makes you a holy and righteous child of His. In the process of this we become ever closer to Him in spirit.

The Christian creed is Jehovah first, others second, self last. The worldly creed is myself first, others get the leftovers and Jehovah gets nothing. Joseph a son of Jehovah

When we cater to the fleshly desire we are selfish and greedy. We do not care about anybody but ourselves.

Jehovah desires you to have a loving relationship with Him and then to emulate that out to others.

He Who Has a Head of Wax

Establish my footsteps in [the way of] Your word; Do not let any human weakness have power over me [causing me to be separated from You]. Psalm 119:133 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

I believe Jehovah instills in us all certain weaknesses in our spirit and in our dispositions. Try as we may we cannot conquer them even though we know they are destructive.

The reason for this is so that we learn to depend upon Him for guidance and strength. It is when we realize we are weak that we go humbly to Jehovah and request both His spiritual and mental strength to defeat these overpowering destructive traits. He answers in numerous manners.

Sometimes He will guide you to Godly councilors (which may take years before there is victory. This teaches you patience, faith and perseverance).

Sometimes our weaknesses are too strong for us to control so He teaches us to be dependent upon Him (boy has He ever come through on that one for me).  Sometimes He will exorcist in on His own (to exhibit His strength so you learn to have faith in Him and depend upon Him).

Sometimes He will work in harmony with you to destroy it (this is to teach you not to be arrogant and think you do not need His help).

Chances are there are times of temptation. Even though they come from satan they are used by Jehovah to test you to see if you are strong enough (He knows whether you are or not, He just wants you to know) or if you are wise enough and have faith enough to call upon Him for help believing He will answer you.

Prayer: Thank you El Deah (God of knowledge) for blessing with the knowledge of my strengths and weaknesses. Thank you for directing me to Godly councilors whom have helped me immeasurably to learn how to handle them to give glory to You.

Thank you that when I fail in tests You are not angry with me but rather are just teaching me I have a ways to go.

Thank you that in Your grace You help me when in need of controlling the weaknesses so as to not shame Your name.

I give all glory to You my Love in the name of He whose strength conquers all weaknesses Jesus Christ. Amen
