I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

There has been so many times in my life when I was so discouraged there was no peace to be found anywhere. UNTIL, I got down on my knees and poured my heart out to our Heavenly Poppa. He sent the Holy Spirit to me and was blessed with an all encompassing peace which can only come from God.

There has been so many times in my life where it was one failure after another or , one disaster after another. It felt as if a huge boulder was being dragged around with me pulling it. Then, I got down on my knees and poured my heart out to our Beloved Heavenly Poppa. He sent The Holy Spirit to not only encourage me but to follow Him . Obedience brought success. Not instantly and most times not without a lot of pain but with great rejoicing at the success when completed.

Following the Holy Spirit’s guidance always brings to success. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

There has been so many times when it felt as if I was the only one on the planet, feeling extremely depressed. Then, I poured out my heart to our Heavenly, Beloved Poppa. He softly gently so spoke to me with reassuring words that affirmed He would never leave me nor forsake me because He loves me so much. An overwhelming all encompassing experience of peace and love filled every molecule in my body. No matter the situation, pour it out completely at Jehovahs loving feet. He loves you so much He cannot but help offer you the best remedy for whatever ails you. He is the best Heavenly loving Poppa. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

Prayer: With the deepest respect, awe, admiration and love I thank you Jehovah Abba (God our Father 1 John 3:1 ) for blessing me into Your holy family. The most precious treasure in my life is the loving relationship shared between You, Jesus and The Holy Spirit and me.

Thank you my love. Oh thank you. I praise You in the name of my big brother, Jesus Christ. Amen

May you be blessed with being adopted into the greatest family ever and with spending copious amounts of time with they who love you ever so dearly. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

To My Dear Cherished

In the morning, O Lord, I will direct my song and my prayer unto You and will look up. (Psalm 5:3)

To My dear cherished Poppa : Good morning Poppa This is the day that You have made and I rejoice and be glad for the gift of it.

With gratitude, I thank You for preserving my life for one more day.

With gratitude, I thank you for Your ultimate gift of love for me, in the form of Your Son and the sacrifice of His life on my behalf. Because of this overwhelming gift that I often cannot comprehend, I humbly submit to You.

I know Lord, that I am a mere human and cannot instruct You, but you Lord bless me with The Holy Spirit to instruct me.

So teach me Your ways that I may rely on Your steadfast faithfulness. Teach me to number my days and to use my time wisely. I don’t know what this day holds, but I know that You hold the day.

It was you that laid the foundations of the Earth and therefore understands every part of it. I know that you keep the sun in the sky, the stars in place, and have created this Earth for me to inhabit and enjoy.

Throughout this day, may I be always be keenly aware of Your presence in everything I do – as I commute to work, drop children off at school, keep house and speak with my neighbors.

May my life be a living example and may others see Christ in me.

There are many that are hurting in this world – may I be a salve to someone today Lord, in a way that I can’t even imagine.

May my words be seasoned with salt and minister grace to all that hear.

May my actions be aligned with your Word.

I pray for wisdom that is peaceable, gentle, and approachable, with lots of mercy and fairness. You said an unlimited supply of wisdom is available to me if I simply ask, I so humbly request for wisdom to know how to deal with the many people and situations that will cross my path.

I pray for protection throughout this day; protect from harm and evil; go before me, to the left and right of me and behind me. Guide my steps so that I walk worthy of Your calling throughout this day. May I always be sensitive to Your promptings – whether it shows up as a gentle tug or a strong conviction. I pray for reconciliation in families, in nations and to You.

I pray that all may come to know you and be reconciled back to You.

Poppa, you know my faults and my flaws, please forgive me for being unkind with my words and my thoughts; forgive me for being self-serving; forgive me for holding on to old wounds instead of giving them to You.

Please forgive me, Poppa. When I am overwhelmed, confused, unsure, and restless, help me run to Your Word, The Holy Bible.

May your Word come alive to me so that it is a living guide in every situation I encounter this day.

Help me, Poppa, to remember the promises of your Word and bring the right passage to my remembrance for the situation I encounter. I acknowledge Poppa that I need to spend more time with You reading and praying so that I am prepared for whatever the day brings. Poppa I know that your Word is indeed a light unto my feet and a light unto the path You have chosen for me to walk this day .

Please remove fear and anxiety. from my heart and mind . As believers You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of love power and a sound mind. So when I are fearful, please remind me of Your love for me and use that love as the impetus to love others and see situations differently; may I tap into the power that you have given me, for I am never alone because You have not left me comfortless.

May Your wisdom be the underpinnings for my sound mind.

May I remember that I do not have to be anxious and when I am tempted to be anxious or worrisome, may I verbalize my concerns to you and then leave them there as You taught me to do. Worry does me no good and limits me, and You do more with my worry than I ever could. So please help me to turn all of my anxious thoughts and nerve-wracking situations over to You; to truly do that and trust that You are working. That You are working all things together for my good because You love me; that You are working in ways that I cannot comprehend because Your ways always supersede mine. And that in this working You are molding me continually into masterpieces fit for Your use.

Thank You for increasing my faith and capacity to love You by being loving towards others just as You are loving towards me.

As a child of yours Lord, I know that I am Your masterpiece though sometimes I feel so far from it. Please help me to remember my worth in You when I’m faced with challenging situations.

When I feel depressed, help me to remember that I am fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image , a replica of You and that You loved me so much You thought that I was worth dying for.

I do not know anyone that would die for me, but Your beautiful Son, my best friend did, and I’m eternally grateful and humbled for His supreme gift of love towards me.

For the unseen, Poppa, I thank you. You are beyond understanding, You are abundant, you are mine, and I am Yours. I totally and completely submit everything in my life to You today,

I humbly request this in the name of He who humbly went to the cross for me, Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Best Peace Treaty

  Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 Holy Bible New Living Translation

The best peace treaty there can ever be is the one between you and Jehovah.    

The only way to accomplish this is to surrender your will to His. We are to do as He suggests. Jehovah is too honorable to demand, He is respectful and asks. We refuse to obey at our own peril.  When we surrender our all to Him, He will bless us with peace, comfort, security and assurance.               

                                       

 Going our own way or going with the crowd only condemns you to a life of confusion, depression, worry, anger and fear.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Shalom (the God of Peace) for blessing me with Your Heavenly Divine peace which no other can compare. I exalt You in the highest in the name of the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ. Amen

All in One Word.

Today our world is plagued by rage and depression. It oozes into every cranny of society, rich and poor, man and woman, of every colour and nationality.

Everyone is asking why.

It can all be summed up in one word: unforgiveness.

When we refuse to forgive someone for an offense they have committed upon us it seeps into every aspect of our life. That is why there is so much road rage, why there is so much drug abuse, why there is so much failed marriage, why there is so much in fighting in families.

Why do folks refuse to forgive?

Because, we are greedy.

Instead of leaving justice in Jehovahs capable hands we demand the right for blood by our own.

Unforgiveness is a form of selfishness. We demand our pound of flesh.Joseph a son of Jehovah

The cure for this selfishness can only be found by laying our grievances at the feet of Jesus and trusting Him to deliver true justice in His time and in His way.

Speaking from personal experience, Christs justice is far more terrible than anything we could administer to the unrepentant.

The Lord works out everything to its proper end— even the wicked for a day of disaster. The Lord detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished. Proverbs 16: 4-5 Holy Bible New Living Translation

In the mean time, we are to pray for the offended to come to repentance for their own good.

If possible stay away from abusive folks and if you have to deal with them do so graciously but firmly. Let them know their attitude and behavior is not welcome nor tolerated. Therefore, the relationship shall remain formal, but, if they repent the door of friendship shall be opened

Prayer: Please Jehovah Elohe Tishuathi (Psalms 18:46&51:14) – GOD of My Salvation bless me to always have a forgiving heart towards others as You do towards me. Please bless me with the wisdom, strength and provision to walk away from habitual  abusers and to pray for them to come unto repentance as well. I humbly request this in the name of He whose blood made forgiveness possible Jesus Christ. Amen

Great and Priceless Treasure.

Great and priceless treasure is in the house of the [consistently] righteous one [who seeks godly instruction and grows in wisdom], But trouble is in the income of the wicked one [who rejects the laws of God].Proverbs 15:6 Holy Bible Amplified Version

One of the greatest treasures is that of Godly instruction and wisdom.

Godly instruction will teach you about life. It will guide you away from disaster. It will guide you through storms. It will reveal to you hidden treasures in Heaven.

Wisdom is putting what you have learned into action.

The result is a lot less stress, anger, and grief. It will bless you with strength, encouragement, peace, love and joy.

I seek Heavenly riches as they are more satisfying than earthly ones. Joseph a son of Jehovah

The income of the wicked is one disaster after another. It will plague you with dissatisfaction in life. There will be jealously, anger, stress, worry and depression. Just look around you to find confirmation with it. I have seen an abundance of it in both lifestyles.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God our Teacher) for Your kindness in enriching my life with priceless treasures held withing Your Holy word (the Bible) and other resources to become a wise child of Yours. I joyfully thank You in the name of the wisest Rabbi of all Jesus Christ. Amen

No Man Can Fulfill His Calling.

                                            

Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God’s multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God’s unmerited favor]. 1 Peter 4:10 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

I remember so many in my younger years bragging that they did not need anybody. They only lived for themselves. Now that they are older and in need of help there is no one to help them and they have no one to love them. They are depressed, lonely folks whose daily life is a living Hell of loneliness.

I have seen so many use their God given talents to help others. Now that they are older and in need of help they are surrounded with folks falling all over them helping them. Their is a contented life filled with love, joy and peace.

Jehovah has endowed each of us with a special talent that is to be used in the community. To neglect that talent or to use it for your own selfish ends is indeed a great sin in our Heavenly Fathers eyes. Those who neglect to use it for their God given purpose pay dearly for it in their elder years.

When you surround yourself with nobody but yourself you end up with nobody but yourself. Joseph a son of Jehovah.  

“No man can compass the ends of life by drawing a little line around himself upon the ground. No man can fulfill his calling as a Christian by seeking the welfare of his wife and family only, for these are only a sort of greater self.” Charles Spurgeon

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh ( God provides ) for blessing me with plentiful opportunities to enrich myself with the most precious treasure of all, those of the heart, every day. In doing so I know I am also enriching Your heart which enriches my heart all the more. I exalt Thee in the name of my greatest treasure Jesus Christ. Amen.

Did My Soul Become.

                                                  

 The one who is taught the word [of God] is to share all good things. Galatians 6:6 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

This is something I believe is needed in our society today. Instead of the me generation we need to be teaching the younger generation the We Generation.

So many folks are chasing after pleasure in the material world only to discover that there is an emptiness inside them. That emptiness is love for others.

I do not know of any who volunteer in the community that suffers depression.

The greatest treasure is the richness of the heart. The only way to enrich yourself in this treasure is to give it away. The more you give away the greater your treasure will be. Joseph a son of Jehovah

As well, when the community is involved in doing volunteer work within the community there will be less vandalism because folks have invested time in the community. So if people volunteer to do clean up in a park they are less likely to vandalize it. When they go and cut the grass or shovel the snow out of a needy neighbours property they will be less likely to vandalize it or do a break and enter there.

The less I spent on myself, the more I gave to others, the fuller of happiness and blessing did my soul become. –Hudson Taylor Prayer:

Thank you Jehovah Heseh (God is love) for blessing me with teaching me how to be loving towards others and then providing me with ample opportunities to exhibit Your divine love within my local community. I exalt Thee in the name of He who was and is the perfect example of love Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day. It is in our greatest time of need that we grow the closest to Christ.

Outside of Christ.

                                         

Be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. Ephesians 6:10 Holy Bible Amplified Version

When we are outside of Christ we are easy pickings for the devil and his minions. Their greatest joy is bringing nothing but sorrow, pain, anger and hatred. He is great at nurturing guilt complexes, jealousy, envy, backbiting, selfishness and a whole litany of other mental problems which slowly destroys all joy from our lives.

As well we are susceptible to being enslaved by society. We fall for the enslavement of trying to keep up with the Jones and stupidly going so deep into debt it will never be paid off. And, if any little catastrophe occurs like a raise in interest rates, a recession ( where you lose your job) the result is that all of your hard work is for naught because you can no longer afford to pay for all your toys and house and lose everything. You are bitter and deeply depressed. We fall for the con men and women that deceive us into foolishly believing that sex out of marriage is fun, drugs are fun, and alcohol abuse is fun ( just look at the rubbish on TV, in the movies and listen to the complete garbage that passes off as music to confirm this). This destroys our minds bodies and spirit over time and leaves us as an empty shell of a being in a total miserable state.

On the flip side when we are in Christ, He blesses us with meaning in life, to enjoy and nurture a loving relationship with Him and a Divine purpose in life, to be obedient servants of our Heavenly King. We never ask why we are here nor what is the meaning of life because our Heavenly King has revealed it to us. When we have this, we have complete strength and wisdom by the Holy Spirit to expose and resist the wicked demons and the foolishness of worldliness. We are blessed with complete fullness of life, both now and eternally.

Outside of Christ, I am weak; in Christ, I am strong.” Watchmen Nee

It is in the storms that Jehovah reveals the most of His love, strength, wisdom and peace that He abundantly blesses us with the most. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Chatsahi (The Lord is my Strength) for blessing me with Divine wisdom and strength to know the devils wiles and blessing with with the strength and wisdom in the proper manner in which to defeat the. I praise You in the name of He who had the strength to defeat the devil in the wilderness Jesus Christ. Amen.
