I Choose Not to Choose

Jesus is the best master

“He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.” Psalm 23:3 New International Version

I choose not to choose my own path, but to follow the Holy Spirits guidance. Yes we should take it to God in prayer and honest Bible study before making a career choice.

This should be our Christian motto: “I choose not to choose.”

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure and full of quiet gentleness. Then it is peace-loving and courteous. It allows discussion and is willing to yield to others; it is full of mercy and good deeds. It is wholehearted and straightforward and sincere” James 3:17 The Holy Bible King James Version

Take it to Jehovah for all of our life’s decisions. Whether it be a school to attend, a course to take a life mate or an investment.

“Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass” (Psalms. 37:5).The Holy Bible King James Version

Whatever, I believe in doing as the Jews do. Before making any decisions always take it to Jehovah in prayer for three days. See what the results may be. You may not like them in the short run. But, over time it may be revealed to you just how horrible a mistake you could have made if you went with what you thought was right .

“He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.” (Psalm 25:9 The Holy Bible New International Version)

Independence is opening the door to allow satan into your life. We all know of course he is the master of destruction. Only a fool believes they are independent. They are easy prey for satan.

“All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own” (Isaiah 53:6a The Holy Bible New Living Translation).

We therefore, have two choices in life: 1) Choose to allow the loving Father to guide our choices or

2) Let the destroyer and torturer (satan) make the choice by tricking us into believing it is our own choice.

“There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death” Proverbs 14:12 (The Holy Bible New International Version).

I choose to let Jehovah choose, it is the smartest choice I have ever made.Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah for blessing me with sending the Holy Spirit El Deah (God of knowledge) to guide me through out the challenging discourse of life.              May I always listen , understand and obey His wise guidance.                                      I exalt You and humbly request this in the name of He who is the wisest of all Jesus Christ. Amen

Is Not a Real Christian

 Dear brothers and sisters,we urge you in the name of the Lord Jesus to live in a way that pleases God. 1 Thessalonians 4:1 Holy Bible, New Living Translation

A Sunday Christian is not a real Christian but a bench warmer. Sunday Christians are those that only have anything to do with Christianity on Sunday during a sermon (even then, how many are either sleeping or secretly playing video games during the sermon? How many are looking at their watches and wondering when the sermon will finally get over?).

Being a real Christian is the hardest commitment you will ever make. It means you live a life that will be mocked by those around you, especially family and friends. It means giving up your wants and desires for Jehovahs will in your life. It means suffering, hardship, and a lot of tears. Yes, this is a calling only for the weak, not the strong.                                                        

If you are strong you will depend upon yourself which only brings failure.

If you are weak you will depend upon Jehovah. That will not only bring success in His endeavors in your life but the greatest blessing of all, an extremely close relationship with Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. It will bring you a fulfilling life and accomplishments like you would never dream of. It is the greatest of adventures there can ever be.

“Some Christians haven’t even attempted to think about whether or not they would die for Jesus because they haven’t really been living for Him.” — DC Talk

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Hamelech ( Jesus my Lord King ) for the distinction of being one of Your chosen subservient servant. I laud You in Your majestic name. Amen

You Must Clothe Yourselves With

  Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Colossians 3:12 Holy Bible, New Living Translation

There is too little of tender hearted mercy today. Tender hearted mercy means that our hearts ache when we see someone in need. We make a commitment to help them where they cannot help themselves (do not mistake that for refuse to help themselves. If drug addicts refuse to take the steps necessary to destroy the habit all you help is nothing more than a crutch to them which does not help them). This is not a one day event or token kindness like giving to the food bank (although there is nothing wrong with that) but rather a long term commitment.

So if there is a youngster that is having problems in life us older generation should come along side of them and offer them our experiences, both good and bad (yes it is good for the younger generation to hear of our failures to help them see that we were just like them).

We must exhibit kindness, especially to the elder generation. If a senior needs someone to cut their grass or shovel the snow from their driveway we are to offer to help them (be careful not to be abused though. Just because they are seniors does not mean they cannot be manipulative, indeed most seniors I know are very manipulative.

That is why it is so important to pray to Jehovah to guide you to where your help is appreciated).

We must be there to strengthen the weak when temptation comes a knocking at their door. We have all opened that door when we should not have from time to time so we know what they are going through.

Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the wrong. Sometime in life you will have been all of these. Lloyd Shearer

Prayer: Please Jehovah Heseh (God is love) bless this child of Yours to emulate Your love with all those I encounter today so as to be a light to guide them to the most incredible love affair there ever can be or will. I humbly request this in the name of He who showed His supreme love for me on the cross Jesus Christ. Amen

May the light of Christs love shine brightly in your heart today and every day

They are Neither Right or Good.

 For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. I have witnessed many who take on tasks in the belief that they are doing Gods work so they will receive Gods blessings. That that is a form of bribery. They may be doing good in the community but of course their endeavors mean nothing to Jehovah.

The Christian motto is:Not my will but Your will be done my Beloved. Joseph a son of Jehovah

An obedient son or daughter of Jehovah seeks His will not their own. When we make this commitment He will guide us where we are best suited to meet His needs in His way.

When we fulfill His direction this is pleasing in Jehovahs eyes.

Before you make any plans to service Christ, take it to the King (Jesus) first. Then, wait for His direction.

Be patient.

Moses had to wait forty years. Paul had to wait three.

While you are waiting He is preparing you for meaningful service unto Him. He is also preparing the place of service for you to go to and the proper time.

“Christ is our justification, from which follows that our good works, if they are of Christ, are good; but if ours, they are neither right or good.” ―Ulrich Zwingli

Prayer:Thank you Jesus Christ Helech ‘Olam (The Lord our King Forever) for blessing me with guidance in the when, how and where to serve You in the manner in which You know is best suited for this servant to serve You. I praise You in You majestic name. Amen

He Has Not Learned

 While we were still helpless [powerless to provide for our salvation], at the right time Christ died [as a substitute] for the ungodly. Romans 5:6 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

When first baptized by the Holy Spirit I was so overwhelmed with gratitude that there was repeated attempts at attempts to serve Christ to prove worthy of His gift. Yes some of them succeeded but there was a feeling that something was left out. That something was slowly revealed to me by The Holy Spirit that it does not matter how much service committed unto Christ it is not good enough.

It is a gift given and we are to appreciate the gift.

Try living by the Ten Commandments for a day and see how far you fall short of living the life prescribed by Jehovah of the ancient Israelite’s.

“If any man ascribes anything of salvation, even the very least thing, to the free will of man, he knows nothing of grace, and he has not learned Jesus Christ rightly” Martin Luther

So, if you are attempting to make yourselves worthy of Christs sacrifice by service before warned. It is meaningless to Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Now, once you have become a servant of Christ He will have specific work work you to do in His kingdom. That is done out of love and respect for our Heavenly King, not out of obligation for the sacrifice made.

Prayer: Thank you Jesus M’Kaddesh (The Lord is my Sanctifier) for the horrible, agonizing sacrifice You paid on the cross to sanctify me in our Heavenly Fathers presence. I praise You in Your most awesome name. Amen

We Would Not Believe It.

 For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 Holy Bible Amplified Version

I am glad Jehovah did not inform me of His long term plans for me because I would not have believed it. Many of them would have been terrifying to me because He walked with me through some pretty difficult and dangerous times. They had to happen to make me grow in faith, reverence, love and respect for Him.

As well the plans He had for me to be in service unto Him were unimaginable to a quiet country boy like me.

“Sometimes God does not tell us His plan because we would not believe it anyway.” Carlton Pearson

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Rohi ( Jesus is our Divine Shepherd )for blessing me for with holding Your Divine plans for me because they would have been too terrifying and beyond my capability to understand them. Thank You for the incredible things You have accomplished in my life and through my life through those plans. I exalt You in Your awesome name. Amen.

Notice it Says Continually.

 

Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face continually [longing to be in His presence]. 1 Chronicles 16:11 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Notice it says continually.

Have you ever seen a chicken after its head has been chopped off ( those who grew up on a farm fifty years ago know what I am referring to, sorry if it offends you city slickers) ? The chickens body flows and runs all around the place for a minute or two.

How many of us do this when unexpected problems or catastrophes slam into us?

I know in my early walk with Christ this occurred many times at the slightest incident. Now when the event first occurs there is the initial shock and worry but I do as the Holy Spirit has trained me to do over many decades: I take it to the Lord in prayer and trust His providence to see me through, that is what faith is. This only becomes second nature because of continuous daily communion with Him.

He Divinely guides most of my every moves. I say most because there are moments in all of our lives where we surrender to selfish fleshly desires.

He always provides me with strength to accomplish the daily tasks He assigns us and yes He does assign us daily tasks as every King does his servants.

Just as Christ is our Heavenly King, so too are we His earthly servants. Joseph son of Jehovah.

The more we experience this the stronger our trust in Him to provide for and protect us in our disasters.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) for blessing me continuously with Your wonderful presence every moment of my life. I cherish our communion together. Thank you for walking with me through the many trials and tribulations experienced in my walk with You and for walking with me through my crucifixion, being put through the furnace to burn off the dross. I know these event were necessary and that they would have been impossible to accomplish if You were not there with me. I exalt You in the name of He who blessed all He spent time with as He walked amongst us Jesus CHRIST. Amen.

Be Unceasing and Persistent.

 Be unceasing and persistent in prayer. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

I have faithfully prayed for a certain woman to come to Christ daily for over twenty years. Through all this time she persistently rejected all attempt’s to listen to anyone about Christ.

Within the last year she began going to a Bible study and now attends a church down the street on Sundays and once during the week. She still attends the first church one a week. She has even invited many of her friends to join her, most of which accept and have become members of that church. She reads daily devotionals and prays every day. Her disposition has metamorphosed so much many people do not even know her anymore.

That is the reward for persistent prayer. Of course not all of our prayers will be answered.

There are men and women that become very angry and even hate me for praying for them. They choose to remain walking in darkness. That is their choice.

Jehovah always gives everyone a choice. Choose wisely. Joseph son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Chatsahi (The Lord is my Strength) with Your Divine strength to continue on in prayer even when there does not appear to be any results. I thank You in the name of He who never ceased praying as He walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen

We are in this Together.

 

 The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. James 5:16 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

We are in this together.

We need to pray for each other more than we need to lend a helping hand.

The reason for this is that through our prayers we bring into play Jehovahs power at our request.

After all, what loving father would not oblige an obedient, respectful loving childs request if the child asks trusting that the request will be answered in the positive.

Through my prayers amazing things blessings have occurred for others that are impossible to answer using human logic. This of course of the perfect timing to share the gospel with others and bring them into Jehovahs awesome family.

Praying for others is a true act of love towards them. Joseph son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh ( God provides ) for always providing for the receptive ones I pray for. I exalt You in the name of He who is the answer to all of our prayers Jesus Christ. Amen

Walk in Union with Him.

 Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin]. Colossians 2:6 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

How are we supposed to walk in union with Christ?

The first step is to pray for revelation with a sincere heart so we may be blessed with Holy communion with Him.

The second step is to read our Bible, read Christian literature and listen to Christian teachers as they expound upon Christs character and the Holy Spirits transformation of us into union with His Divine character.

This is a life time exercise that must become second nature to us in every aspect of our daily lives.

The more obedient we are to the Holy Spirits guidance the more He resides within us.

“True religion is a union of God with the soul, a real participation of the divine nature, the very image of God drawn upon the soul, or in the apostle’s phrase, it is Christ formed in us.” Henry Scougal

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Pryyand (God is my friend) for blessing me with the most incredible friendship possible. I cherish every moment we spend together. I praise You in the name of my best friend with whom I adore Jesus Christ. Amen
