I have met many who have a graceful tongue and are surrounded by those who love them in their elder years. They live a peaceful and joyful life.

 

I have met some who constantly criticize and condemn in their early years that are now living a lonely life of Hell every day of loneliness and deep sorrow. When they are younger they think they are smart and getting away with it but in their elder years they pay a very heavy price.

 

Even more important we all will stand before the supreme judge Jesus Christ and give an account for the words spoken. Those with a graceful; heart that are Christians will be welcomed into a Heavenly home filled with love and joy. Those filled with filthy words will be condemned to an eternity in Hell, a place of torment.

 

Prayer: Please Jehovah KalEl (voice of God) bless me that my speech is filled with love, grace wisdom and meekfulness like my holy mentor Your most graceful son Jesus Christ. When my speech is about to become cruel and or vulgar come and convict me before the words escape my mouth and cause sometimes irrevocable damage. I humbly request this in His loving name Amen.

Are You a Blocker?

But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14  New King James Version

When we give our vow to Christ we become children of God no matter our age. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Although Jesus was referring to literal children this also applies to those who are new to the Christian walk.

 

So if somebody has listened to an online sermon and given their life to Christ and decides to go to a church, do you ostracize them because they are newcomers and why are they coming to “your church”? In so doing you may dissuade them from a further commitment to Christ and are in actuality becoming an impediment to Him. If someone is poor do you treat them like lepers? If someone is a different colour or has a physical impediment do you treat them as if they were rubbish on the street being a snob to them?

 

Are you arrogant and treat them like they are stupid when they ask questions about the Christian life?

 

I have seen more so called Christians drive others away from Christ than any others. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Would You Have Laughed?

And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads and saying, “You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross.” Likewise the chief priests also, mocking with the scribes and elders, said, “He saved others; Himself He cannot save. If He is the King of Israel,let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe Him. He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He will have Him; for He said, ‘I am the Son of God. As Jesus was hanging on the cross suffering in agony many scoffers walked past Him and laughed at Him and made fun of Him.

Would you have done that?

When you see a brother or sister in agony maybe because of a mistake they made in their life do you laugh at them and make fun of them? Then you are just as guilty as those who laughed at Jesus in His agony.

When you see someone with relationship problems whether it be family or otherwise do you viciously gossip and laugh at them? They are going through emotional agony and the last thing they need is vicious cruel gossiping gerties slings and arrows.  Then you are just as guilty as those who laughed at Jesus in His agony

When you see someone battling an addiction (and we all have one) do you make fun of them and laugh at their agony (and believe me it is agony when you suffer an addiction, being an ex-alcoholic I speak from a lot of experience as well as suffering the blows of vicious words of mockers)?

But, I give you this warning: what goes around comes around. There will come a time when you are in agony and in desperate need of a compassionate, loving, caring wise councilor and alls you will receive is viscous venom from cruel wolves like you were to another. Oh and think of this: what if your cruel words were all it took to cause the hurting to commit suicide, how would you feel? Do you not think Jesus will hold you accountable for that? What if it caused them to say go into a mall and just start shooting before committing suicide, how would you feel knowing it was you that pushed them over the edge?

Prayer: Please Jehovah Ropheka (God our healer) bless my words and actions that they are healing balm when I see another in agony whether they are in Your holy family or not just as Jesus did when he walked the earth. I sincerely ask this in the name of the most gracious healer of them all Jesus Christ Amen.

Not in Your Eyes but His.

In todays politically correct world many go by the mantra that if it feels good do it and truth is relative.

Nothing is father from the truth.

If you believe you evolved from a monkey instead of Jehovah god you are wrong. If you believe sexual promiscuity is okay, it is still wrong (could that be why we have syphilis and aids?).

 

Do not be fooled, when you go your own way you are headed for disaster, when you go Jehovahs way, you are headed for Heaven. Joseph- Anthony: Green

 

I have seen many who lived by the moral of sex, drugs and rock and roll in my teens. They mocked me for standing by Gods way. It was very difficult. Today I see them and they are a shell of a human. They are old before their time with both their mental and physical health.

 

When you turn your back on Jehovah, He will turn His back on you.  Joseph- Anthony: Green

He Works Things Out.

“Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: ‘I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you in the way you should go.’” Isaiah 48:17, English Standard Version)

Jehovahs kingdom is spiritual so it should only be natural that we expect  the profit he promises to be spiritual. Oh we may receive material blessings but the priority is set in the spiritual realm. When we surrender our will to Jehovahs, He will guide us in the direction He has planned for us to take in life before we were even born. This event may happen early in life or later.

For me it was not until in my fifties that  I could trace His guidance in my life.                        

Now one thing is for sure, it will not be easy. Many times He will lead you upon unkown territory without giving the reason why. That is when your faith Jehovahs all wise guidance slowly begins to mature.                                                                                                     

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, Ephesians 1:11 New International Version

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rohi (God is our Sheppard) for all the patient guidance You have blessed me with in the course of many years. I apologize for being an obstinate and stubborn child at times. Please bless me with more faith and dedication to follow the path my great Sheppard is leading me down all the way to Heaven. I submissively beseech You in the name of Your most obedient son Jesus Christ. Amen.

When I Kept Silent.

When I kept silent, my bones grew old. Through my groaning all the day long. For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was turned into the drought of summer Psalm 32:3-4 New King James Version

 

This is the number one cause of all illnesses in my opinion.

 

When we are unrepentant the Holy Spirit convicts us.

 

When we refuse to repent it sucks all the joy our of our lives. This can cause heart problems, ulcers and numerous other illnesses.

 

As well, it causes insomnia as our dreams become nightmares.

 

Yet how many people stupidly and stubbornly (yes stupid and stubborn go hand in hand like peanut butter and jam)?

 

When I have repented it felt as if a heavy load was lifted from me.

 

So it is true what they say:” Repentance is good for the soul.”

 

Prayer:  Please Jehovah Ropheka (God our healer) convict me of my sins and guide me to repentance so as to heal all the wounds that plague the unrepentant. I humbly request this in the name of He whose sacrifice made repentance possible Jesus Christ. Amen.

He Will Not Give Up.

He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. Philippians 1:6

When we become Christians Jehovah has a special assignment for each of us to do.

Sometimes it will feel as if the task is too much for us and we are inadequate for the job.

Of course we are.

That is the beauty of it.

Because we are inadequate for the job we become dependant upon God to provide us with the tools necessary.

This leads to a deeper appreciation, respect and love for Him which leads to a closer loving relationship with Him.

There have been so many times this formula has played out in my walk with Him.  He So the next time you feel overwhelmed by Jehovahs task for you take it to Him in honest and sincere prayer.

Then wait for His answer and be obedient to Him.

That is the other part of the formula.

Many times He will answer your prayer in unusual ways and ask you to do things that do not make sense at the time. When you obediently obey Him then you will experience His wisdom which leads to deeper trust in Him.

So many times I have laughed and praised Him for the unusual ways He answers my prayer to complete the assignment He has given me to do.

 

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) for always providing me with the tools necessary to successfully complete the Holy assignments You have provided for me to do.  I praise You in the name of He who You always provided for to complete the most special assignment on the cross for Jesus Christ. Amen.

How Are You Looking Out?

Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. Philippians 2: New King James Version

How much are you looking out for the interest of others?

How much do you mentor young people or those who are new Christians?

That does not mean we are to be judgmental or critical.

It means to teach them the correct way to behave like a Christian. It is not something that happens in a week or month. Sometimes it can take years.

We sometimes adopt wild cats. At first they are little tigers. It takes time to teach them to use the kitty litter and even more time to get them to trust us. After a while they are very affectionate and domesticated.

If that is true for wild cats how much more true is it for Christians that have only walked in the world?

People who won’t help others in trouble “because they got into trouble through their own fault” would probably not throw a lifeline to a drowning man until they learned whether he fell in through his own fault or not. Sydney J. Harris

Prayer: Please Jehovah Chanan (God is gracious) bless me to be a wise, gracious and meek mentor to all in Your holy family and to those who are open to becoming members of Your divine family. I humbly ask this in the name of He who sacrificed His holy place for my interest in becoming a member of Your sanctified family Jesus Christ. Amen

Is He Your Helper?

So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”^[Hebrews 13:6New King James Version

Do you have a divine helper?

To have the supreme divine helper you must have a relationship with Christ.

 

When you are blessed with that relationship you are going to experience great opposition from those around you.

 

I have found that the greatest opponents were those in my own family. I was laughed at and scorned.

But, you will experience opposition and persecution from others, it may be at work or school or in social settings. Sometimes it will be overt sometimes it will be direct. I have experienced both. When that happens I take comfort in going to the only source of our power, Jesus.

Numerous times He has come through like the Calvary in the old cowboy movies. Just when all seemed lost He came to my rescue in unique ways.

“To have God in our life, doesn’t mean sailing on a boat with no storms, it means having a boat that no storm can sink!” — Author Unknown

Prayers: Thank you Jehovah Yeshua (God is our rescuer) for the numerous times You have rescued my in Your own powerful and unique way. I give thanks in the name of He whose sacrifice rescued me from Hell Jesus Christ. How Often Do You Speak With Him?

And it happened, as He was alone praying Luke 9:17-19 New King James Version

What kind of relationship do you think it is when someone only talks with you when they want something from you?

 

Even when you offer advice they ignore it, they want you to solve all their problems.

 

Someone who is friends with you because they want something from you, that is not a loving relationship, that is abuse. Joseph- Anthony: Green

 

On the other hand how do you feel about a relationship where you talk with each other, not only when there are problems but just to be with each other?

 

The second is the relationship Jehovah desires to share with us.

 

I suggest you choose early in the morning to just sit and talk with Jehovah and then read His love letter to you (the Bible).

 

Find a quiet place in nature where you can go once a week and be alone with Him. Just sit there and allow Him to open your eyes to all the beauty He has created for you because He loves you. Do not talk, just sit there and soak it all in.
