For a Dynamic Spiritual Life

For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. 2 Peter 1:3 Holy Bible Amplified Version

How ya gonna know Him if you spend no time with Him?

In order to get to know Jehovah it is imperative to spend time with Him ever day. The more time we spend in communion with Him (not just whining about gimme, gimme, gimme the more dynamic your spiritual life becomes. It is like high octane for the spirit. The more time you spend with Him the more your disposition and behavior will emulate Him and you live a more godly life.

I have heard so many cry baby that they do not have a deep relationship with Jehovah and do not know why.

When you follow His instruction manual (the Bible)  for a incredible loving relationship with Him you will be amazed at how much He transforms you into a loving child of His in every aspect of your life. As you are transformed more and more into His likeness you will discover your life is a real dynamo.

My heart beats like a dynamo when in the presence of He with whom I am so deeply in love with. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Immanuel (God is with us) honour of spending treasured time with You, my best friend Jesus and my Wonderful Councillor the Holy Spirit. It is the most amazing experience there could ever be. I am appreciative for this blessing in the name of my best friend Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wishing you a house full of sunshine, hearts full of cheer and love that grows deeper each day of the year. Welsh blessing

How can a Young Man Keep?

How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping watch [on himself] according to Your word [conforming his life to Your precepts]. Psalm 119:9 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

He is the best life coach there is, His name is Jesus.

Do not forget that because He walked amongst us Jesus has gone through everything we have gone through and so much more. So, who better to go to when you are experiencing problems?

Now when Jesus is your best bud does it not sense that you would eagerly want to know everything there is about Him?

Just as you want to spend time with your earthly friends should you not so much more desire to spend time with your Heavenly bestest friend?

Pick a scheduled time every day to not just read the Bible but also to spend time talking with Him (not just about your problems either. Ask Him to reveal more of Himself to you so you will be blessed with loving Him greater and greater.).

Speaking from personal experience you will never be prepared for the awesome, majestic revelations He will share with you. When He does you will understand the phrase of Your heart dances with joy and your heart dances with love. You will yearn to spend more and more time with Him instead of wasting your time in the world which will lose all fleshly satisfaction unto you.

“If ye keep watch over your hearts, and listen for the Voice of God and learn of Him, in one short hour ye can learn more from Him than ye could learn from Man in a thousand years.” — Johannes Tauler

Prayer: Thank you Holy Spirit El Deah (God of knowledge) for the precious gift of Your continuous knowledge of You, Jehovah and Jesus. It is always wonderful the beautiful attributes of youse that You share with me. I exalt You in the name of the best teacher Jesus Christ. Amen

May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Three Things That Only God Knows

I do not know, [only] God knows. 2 Corinthians 12:2 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

There has been so many times when trials and tribulations have struck without warning in my life (matter of a fact almost all the time). I call out unto Jehovah and ask Him why I had no warning and why it was happening. He is silent. That is a good thing. He does not inform me because there would be terror in my heart at the foreordained knowledge of what was coming. He does not inform me because either He is in the process of molding me through this event or He is testing me through it.

He does not allow me to know how long it will last. There is good reason for that. If I knew how long it would last it may seem too long a time or I would become complacent in the knowledge that it will only last for a while.

So, when you are going through and difficulty and Jehovah is silent, there is a good reason for it.

No, He is not angry with you, although this may be an event to discipline you.

No, He has not deserted you, He loves you too much to ever desert you.

“There are three things that only God knows: the beginning of things, the cause of things and the end of things.” Welsh Proverb

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Tsidkenu (The Lord is Righteousness) for blessing me with events in my life that You have used to burn off the dross to create in me a righteous heart and life of dedication unto You. Thank you for not forewarning me of these events becasue they would be too terrible for me to grasp at the time. Thank you that through these events You strengthen my faith in You. I exalt Thee in the name of He who trusted You all the way to the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill your heart today and every day.

By Far More Christian Than

There is no [distinction between] Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, [nor between nations whether] barbarian or Scythian, [nor in status whether] slave or free, but Christ is all, and in all [so believers are equal in Christ, without distinction]. Colossians 3:11 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Do you notice the mention of the Scythian and wonder who they were?

Scythian the 8th century BC, they possibly raided Zhou China. At their peak, Scythians came to dominate the entire steppe zone, stretching from the Carpathian Mountains in the west to central China (Ordos culture).

When I was a teacher in China some Chinese Christians were sharing with me how Christianity came to China early in the first century A.D. When I looked up who they were on wikipedia.org it fits perfectly what my Christian sisters were informing of. It took me about three years to come to grips with what they were saying but searching the scriptures proved they were right.

I believe we in the west are arrogant in believing that Christianity is mostly a western religion.

When I studied Chinese Christianity and saw how they behaved they were by far more Christian than the majority of so called Christians in the west.

As well their Bible is different form the wests (for example the only apostle they have is Thomas because he was the only one of Christs disciples to travel there and they have the Book of Enoch in their Bible) and I found it more in line with true Christianity.

As well on the bus going to church the Chinese Christians and we excitedly shared with what Jehovah had done in our lives that week(The members from the west were very annoyed by it.They preferred to talk about pop music, the latest movies or TV shows or fashion- the material world- rather than Christ in their lives).

How many western Christians get excited to talk about what Jehovah has done in their lives?

On the way back we would discuss the sermon.

How many so called western Christians discuss the sermon after service?

Before church they would have prayer meetings and after church they would have Bible study classes.

How many churches have that every Sunday- indeed, how many even teach from the Bible any more?

Most of them have suffered a great deal by becoming Christians.

How many in the west are willing to suffer for Christ?

Do not tell me you are a Christian, show me. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

We in the west can learn so much of true worship from our Chinese Christian brothers and sister.

Prayer: Please Jehovah El Deah God of knowledge bless me with abundant knowledge of how to be a loving obedient child of Yours every day. Please ingrain it into every molecule of my being so as to glorify You. I humbly beseech Thee in the name of the all knowing Jesus Christ. Amen

May your house be filled with joy in the morning and sweet dreams at night. May it be a home where love has come to live. Joseph a son of Jehovah

It is in the Past that I see Myself Today.

You shall teach them diligently to your children Deuteronomy 6:7 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

One of the interesting things in tracing your family history is that it is in the past that I see myself today. It is a repeated pattern of dispositions that is in the genes that is passed on from generation to generation. In my case one side of the family is true villains while the other are saints.

Here is the amazing thing though, when we dedicate our lives unto Christ He burns off the dross (the bad dispositions) while replacing them with Godly ones. It is not something that is accomplished in a day or week. Sometimes it takes decades and even then some bad dispositions remain. I believe that the bad dispositions are permitted to remain so that we are dependent upon Jehovah to keep them under control.

“One must always maintain one’s connection to the past and yet ceaselessly pull away from it.” Gaston Bachelard

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah El Deah (God of knowledge) for blessing me with sharing Your knowledge about my past with me to explain my dispositions to me. Thank you for working with me to burn off the dross of the undesirable inherited traits and replacing them with Your Divine traits to mold me into a Holy child of Yours. I exalt Thee in the name of my Beloved big brother Jesus Christ. Amen

May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah

He Will Guide You.

But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you. John 16:13 Holy Bible Amplified Version

The Holy Spirit is the best guide in every aspect of our lives. He has lead me through four uncharted territories in my decades long walk with Him. Each one was preparing me for the next.

Being a country boy I had no desire to move to the big city yet it was there He took me. While there He guided me to learn about natural medicine and first aid. As well He taught me about the Trinity and planted the seeds for our tree of love to grow and bare fruit. This knowledge held me in good steed while tree planting.

The next uncharted territory He led me to was tree planting. It was there that He taught me how to care for and about others. Most of my co-workers came from divorced families and they were unloved. I was the first one to ever love them and care about them. Again He also taught me about His majesty and grandeur there as well as His power, provision and protection.

This knowledge held me in good steed for the next uncharted territory He was leading me to which was teaching in Asia.

Most children there have never been loved nor respected by their parents. They had no one to confide in with their problems. The skills the Holy Spirit taught me in those tree planting camps was put to ample good use. The children felt loved, cared for, cared about, safe and secure in my class.

As well, the Holy Spirit was preparing me there for the next unknown territory. The majority of Asian I have met were narcissists. Under the Holy Spirits tutorship I learned how to properly deal with them.

This was preparing me for when I had to come home to be a live in care giver for my mom when she became disabled. My family was and is extremely narcissistic. The lessons learned in Asia has and still does hold me in good steed.

During the course of these travels I have learned to have more and more confidence and security in the Holy Spirits guidance.

I do not know where the next unknown territory is or if there is any more but I know the One, oh so very well, who will be guiding me is worthy of my complete and total trust.

“I know not the way God leads me, but well do I know my Guide.” Martin Luther

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Rohi ( Jesus is our Divine Shepherd ) for blessing me with the Holy Spirit as my guide throughout all of my life. I praise You in Your awesome name. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

On Whose Terms?

“But if they do not hear and obey, they will die by the sword [of God’s destructive judgments] And they will die [in ignorance] without [true] knowledge. Job 36:12 Holy Bible Amplified Version

We don’t seem to want to worship a God who’s too big, too authoritative. We seem more comfortable with a deity who’s more manageable.” — Mark Finley

On whose terms do you worship Jehovah?

Most people want to dictate to Jehovah and refuse to listen to His words of guidance.

That is because He dictates that we life a live of sacrifice while we dictate that He serve us not us serve Him. We want to do things our way, which in many cases only leads to hardship and trouble.

Jehovah is better than a horoscope because He knows for certain what the future holds for us.

There is only two options. Option number one is what will happen when we go our own way, disaster.

Option number two: success when we follow His guidance. That does not mean living in a mansion, driving expensive cars while vacationing in the tropics for the winter.

It means a close loving obedient life of service to Him which is rewarded with the most loving relationship possible and a Heavenly home.

Prayer: Please Jesus Hamelech ( Jesus my Lord King ) bless me to always be attentive, understanding and obedient unto Your Divine commands over every aspect of my life because I know You are the wisest of the wise and only desire what is best for me. I meekly request this in Your majestic name. Amen. May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.
