I Called Out Unto

In my distress I prayed to the Lord,and the Lord answered me and set me free. Psalms 118:5 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

There has been so many times in my dedicated service unto our Heavenly King where the stress was so bad it felt like I was going to literally explode. On my knees with rivers of tears rushing down my exhausted cheeks and shaking hands lifted to the Heavens I called out unto our Beloved Poppa in Heaven to release me from this pain, anguish, frustration, and exhaustion.

Most times He refused.

Instead He answered me with the same phrase that washes all the distress and exhaustion from my body and spirit and left me completely enveloped in His Divine peace and love. “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.”  2 Corinthians 12:9 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Divine grace is described as : the free and unmerited favoror the recieving of goodness from God The Free Dictionary

Jehovah may not free you from your circumstance but He will walk with you through them and you will be blessed with loving and respecting Him ever more.

When Jehovah puts you in the furnace of affliction, He is right in there with you. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You Judges 6:12 ) for walking with me through all my trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares. We have walked this road so many times before that I have complete and total confidence in Your presence whenever that painful road must be travelled again. I exalt You in the name of He who has experianced all that I have and so much more when He walked amongst us, Jesus Christ.Amen.

Be Thankful

In every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.1 Thessalonians 5:18 Holy Bible Amplified Version

I desired to make raised flower beds for my aged mother who can no longer bend over to work in her flower beds and she loves her flower beds and working in them. I wanted ten skids and my friend suggested he could get a truck and we could pick them up the next day, but because the truck he wanted to borrow was not available he phoned and informed me we could only get three.

There was disappointment and anger in my heart because we agreed upon ten.

After talking with Jehovah became I became grateful for what was given and for my friends help and waited for him to come pick me up the next day to get the skids.

The friend showed up with five skids in the back of his SUV the next afternoon. When we went to the place where the skids were supposed to be they were all gone. He drove to the place where he saw the skids on the side of the road during his morning walk and we got five more.

Because of that the raised garden could be made ( even though it was not as big as I wanted. I wanted to build a pyramid raised garden but the skids were too small).

As well there was enough skids to use as the base to make another bigger raised garden using a discarded dresser drawer. Another blessing was Jehovah giving me an idea on how to make more raised gardens as a border for our flower beds using materials around the house that I never thought of.

As a consequence there was not a need for so many skids.

When we desire something but Jehovah does not give us what we want but are to still be appreciative. Then Jehovah multiplies His blessings upon us.

A faithful (right-minded) man will abound with blessings. Proverbs 28:20 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Jireh (God is our Provider) for providing for me the material necessary to build a monument of love towards Your cherished daughter, my mother and for the brother who graciously helped me. I thank You in the name of He who was grateful for the blessings of the disciples You sent unto Him Jesus Christ. Amen.

Do Not be Afraid.

 ‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’ “Indeed, all those who are angry with you will be put to shame and humiliated; Those who strive against you will be as nothing and will perish. Isaiah 41:10-11 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

When you experience Jehovah calling you out into the unknown do not be afraid. This of course is easier said then done.

For me I used to call out and say as the man said to Jesus: “ I believe, help me in my unbelief.” In essence he was saying I know You can do it but there are still doubts, please help me conquer my doubts.” There is nothing wrong with that. It is being perfectly honest with Jehovah which is what He desires of us.

Of course the longer we walk into the unknown with our Master the more trust we have in Him.

Do you notice how it says to take hold of His right hand?

The right hand signified supreme authority, Divine blessing, strength, justice and power.

So Jehovah is informing you to freely and confidently call upon His right hand to deliver Divine justice while abundantly pouring out His majestic strength and power into your spirit to conquer any wicked ones that stupidly attack one who belongs to the Supreme King. Of course we see the results at the final passage and it will not be pleasant to your attackers.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Helech ‘Olam (The Lord our King Forever) for blessing this humble child of Your with Your limitless strength, provisions, justice, provisions and wisdom while following the path You have chosen for me to take to the Heavenly home You have prepared for me to take. I exalt You in the name of He who depended upon Your Divine strength to walk all the way to the cross for me Jesus Christ. Amen.

Things Which Have Been Confined.

 

‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish. Jeremiah 33:3 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

When we ask of Jehovah to open our eyes to revelations and His awesome magnificence of boy does He deliver.

He has pulled back the curtain to reveal amazing things in His creation which reveal His awesome beauty and attributes. The world does not see these things because they are in the material world. It constantly amazes me both what He shows me and that those around me do not see them.

The Lord blesses me with insight to the events that are unraveling around us and their significance. When I try to explain it to those walking in the world they believe me to be absurd. It astounds me that they cannot see what is so obvious. Many times it is if they are in a different dimension that me.

It is so wonderful to meet one who walks with Christ and that we see these same things. It is some of the greatest conversations I have ever enjoyed. It is as if we cannot stop talking about them and sharing them with each other.

Do not be shocked when you try to speak of Jehovahs incredible revelations He has blessed you with and those around you cannot see them nor understand them.

A great way to illustrate this is when I came home from serving the Lord in Asia and tried to explain what it was like living in a different culture that thinks differently than us. At first they all laughed at me and said that was nonsense. Then a few months later it became headline news ( of course one of the things I am referring to is the ghost cities that dotted the land around where I lived).

So too it is with those who are not of Christs. It is foolishness to them and absurd.

Those of us that are Christ centered in our thinking have revelations that are absurd to the world Joseph son of Jehovah

Which One Comes From You?

  And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance;  and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation]. Romans 5:3-4 Holy Bible Amplified Version

When Jehovah assigns as difficult task for you to do are you obstinate, stomp your feet and say I refuse like a spoiled little brat? Even though He reasons with you with His Word, Christian Councilors and signs.

Or, if He directs you to stop doing something do you obstinacy refuse?

Beware.

Jehovah only does what is for your good. So, if you refuse to listen to Him, you will pay greatly in the long run.

I have seen many obstinate folks refuse to listen and slowly sink deeper and deeper into a living Hell.

“The difference between perseverance and obstinacy is that one often comes from a strong will, and the other from a strong won’t.” — Henry Ward Beecher

Perseverance means a continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition.

Obstinacy mean to be sticking to an opinion, purpose, or course of action in spite of reason, arguments, or persuasion.

If on the other hand you obey Him you will learn to wait upon His time to mold you into the child He desire you to be. Through our hardships we become stronger in our trust in Him to see us through them and burn off the dross to become pure children of Jehovah. This will mold us into Holy children of Jehovah and be assured of our salvation. Do not think this is a one off experience. It takes years, even decades for Jehovah to accomplish His desire in you His beloved child.

That is why us older children need to come along side of the younger ones to strengthen them with our witness.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) for being with me to guide me and strengthen me as You mold me into the child You desire for me to be. I exalt You in the name of He whose strength helped Him endure the horrible cross Jesus Christ. Amen

We All Fall Down.

  For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again Proverbs 24:16 Holy Bible Amplified Version

I do not care how long you have been a member of the Family of Jehovah, I do not care how strong your trust in Jehovah is we all fall down.

That is when the wicked one will come and mock you and tell you Jehovah is angry with you and you are not fit to be a member of His divine family. Do not believe him.

When we sincerely repent ( which means we admit what we did, admit it was wrong, apologize for it and stop doing it ) then we are forgiven.

I think an important note about repentance is for parents to set the example and repent to their young children ( and old ones of course) when we mess up. It teaches them integrity which will carry them through life and they will respect you for it.

This process is carried through out our life here on this planet until Jehovah takes us to our Heavenly home.

We will stumble and crawl our way to Heaven, not strut Joseph son of Jehovah

Do not be arrogant and foolishly believe yourself above this because that is when you are easy prey for satan.

Therefore let the one who thinks he stands firm [immune to temptation, being overconfident and self-righteous], take care that he does not fall [into sin and condemnation]. 1 Corinthians 10:12 Holy Bible Amplified Version

I know in my early walk with Christ there were times when I was absurd and believed I was strong and oh how hard was the fall and how deep them shame. Thankfully there was repentance on my behalf.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Hoshe’ah – ( The Lord Saves ) for graciously saving me and lifting me out of the dung pit we all fall into on occasion in our walk to our Heavenly home. I praise You in the name of He who lifted Peter out of the waves that were enveloping Him Jesus Christ. Amen

How Nourished are You?

 “Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied. Matthew 5:6 Holy Bible Amplified Version

How nourished are you?

Just as we require daily physical food to maintain our physical health so too do we need daily spiritual food to nourish our spiritual health.

We will never be completely filled with righteousness. Joseph son of Jehovah

We need, every day, to ask Jehovah to fill us with wisdom on the proper manner in which to walk in righteousness. He will abundantly supply us. Then we need to be obedient and obey His instructions. The fruit of this is being blessed with Heavenly joy. As well it prevents us from deviating from our walk with Christ. This leads to nothing but trouble.

When we walk away from Christ, we walk towards satan. Joseph son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh (God is our Provider) for always abundantly providing living fruit to nourish and strengthen me with every day. It is the most desired of all of my daily needs and sustenance. I exalt You in the name of He who is the bread of life and He through whom flows the never ending waters of life Jesus Christ. Amen.

Do You Adhere To

 But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name John 1:12 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Do you adhere to Christ?

To adhere to means to maintain loyalty and to bind oneself to observance ( adhere to the rules)

Are you loyal unto Christ?

Do you place your allegiance unto Him above your family, career and or possessions? Yes there are rules when you are a child of Jehovah (mainly Gods Law which states we are to do unto others as we would like them to do to us and to not do to others as we do not want them to do to us). Do you do to others as you would like them to do to you? That means to be respectful and to help others when you see they need help ( That does not mean to support those who refuse to take responsibility for their actions and refuse to help themselves. We “ owe “ them nothing ). Do you not do unto others as you do not want them to do to you ( that means no bullying or gossiping, backstabbing or cheating ) ? Do you trust Christ? Do you trust Christ with your finances? When He directs you to give of your finances even though it will hurt do you obey Him? Do you trust Him in your relationships? So say you meet someone you like but He sees what they are really like and directs you to end the relationship, do you trust Him to obey?

Do you rely upon Christ?

Do you daily rely upon Christ for guidance? So say you want a job and a good one is offered to you but you feel Christ saying no, will you walk away from it? Do you rely upon Christ in your interpersonal relationships? So say someone has done you wrong, do you rely upon Christ to give you the power to forgive them? If the abuse is habitual and Christ directs you to walk away from the relationship ( even if it is family ) will you walk away from them? Do you rely upon Him to find the proper spouse for you ( instead of the on line dating service where people can be as phony as a three dollar bill ) And, if He direct you to remain single will you rely upon Him to fill the void a spouse can fill?

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Ezer (The LORD our Helper) for helping me adhere to Your righteous Holy manner in my behaviour in my relationship to You. I exalt You in the name of He whose total manner emulated His complete adherence unto You Jesus Christ. Amen

Your strong impenetrable defense

No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance]; but God is faithful [to His word—He is compassionate and trustworthy], and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist], but along with the temptation He [has in the past and is now and] will [always] provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it [without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy]. 1 Corinthians 10:13

Satan the greatest conner always make poo poo look like sugar. Then when you get addicted to it he tries to convince you that you are not strong enough to resist the temptation.

He is partly right.

Sometimes when temptation comes our way Jehovah will allow to endure it to see how much we have grown ( that is not so much for Him but to show us how weak our strength can be so we do not become arrogant). Sometimes He will deliver us from it to revel to us just how great He is.

The best defence is offence and the best offensive weapon is to know Bible verses and use them to defeat the not so great a deceiver.

“The history of every temptation, and of every sin, is the same; the outward object of attraction, the inward commotion of mind, the increase and triumph of passionate desires, ending in the degradation, slavery, and ruin of the soul.” Unknown

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Ganan (The Lord is Our Defense) for blessing me with Your strong impenetrable defense both in Your Divine word and with Your omnipotent presence to defeat the wily sneak satan when he craftily tempts me. I rejoice in this reassurance in the name of He who used the word to defeat the wicked one in the wilderness during His temptation Jesus Christ. Amen

Jesus is the Yes.

 For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return. Philippians 1:10 New Living Translation Bible

Having all the toys does not really matter in the big picture. Indeed, they make you slaves. You have to work to make payments on what you bought. Then, if you leave the house for vacation you worry if they will be stolen while you are gone.

Having the latest mobile phone with all the gadgets does not really matter in the big picture.

The list goes on and on.

Indeed, they make you slaves. You have to give of your earnings every month for the down payment and are stuck with phone companies that , in my opinion, overcharge.

Really, why do you need these things anyway?

One word: vanity, which is selfish pride. You are self centered and saying: Look at me, look at me.

When you care only about yourself you end up with no one but yourself. Joseph son of Jehovah

In the big picture if you really desire satisfaction in your life, know the meaning of life and why you are here there is only one answer: become a slave. When we become Christians that make Jesus our king. If he is our king then we are His bondsmen and women. A bondsman is someone who freely gives his service unto another in exchange for something else. In Christ when we are His bondsmen or women our benefits are all the blessing He has promised.

Serving Christ has unlimited valuable blessings. Joseph son of Jehovah
