The Lord Favours

The Lord favours those who fear and worship Him [with awe-inspired reverence and obedience] Psalm 147:11Holy Bible Amplified Version

It may not seem like it many times in our walk with Christ that He actually favours us but let us look at it.

When hard times come, and they always do to both those of Christs and those who are not, we have the assurance that the Holy Spirit is there with us to comfort us, strengthen us and guide us through them.

When sorrow comes into our lives, as it always does to everyone from time to time, we have a comforter there who will comfort us, assure us and fill us with Divine love while those in the world do not .

When trials and tribulation comes our way, as it does to everyone from time to time, we have a Divine guide to help us through them while encouraging us and teaching us valuable lessons through them while those in the world do not.

When we go through times of loneliness, as all of us do from time to time, we have a Divine presence there to comfort us and love us while those in the world do not.

And, most importantly, when death comes a knocking at our door, as it does to everyone, we will have an angel to take our hand and escort us to a beautiful Heavenly home while those in the world do not.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh ( God provides ) for the amazing abundant blessings You have daily blessed me with. I am so much in awe, reverence, respect and love with You for Your Heavenly gifts bestowed upon this cherished child of Yours. I exalt You in the name of the greatest gift You have blessed mankind with Jesus Christ. Amen.

Do All to the Glory.

But if a widow has children or grandchildren [who are adults], see to it that these first learn to show great respect to their own family [as their religious duty and natural obligation], and to compensate their parents or grandparents [for their upbringing]; for this is acceptable and pleasing in the sight of God. 1 Timothy 5:4 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Speaking from both personal experience and knowledge of others who are caregivers of their elderly parents it is common for one adult child to care for the parent while the other siblings do nothing to help ( the adult grandchildren are just as negligent).

The negligent children and grandchildren only call when they want money but if there is any help required in the care of their elderly parent or grandparent they are too “busy” to help. The negligent family members are constantly getting money from the parent or grandparent while the caregiver is left empty handed. Indeed, many times the elderly parent is abusive to the caregiver. The load is very heavy upon the shoulders of the caregiver or caregivers (if they are married it puts tremendous stress on the relationship) and many times the stress is crushing.

For me, I go into the forest and spend quiet time with my Love. He blesses me with strength, comfort and encouragement while reading the Book of Psalms.

So then, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of [our great] God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 Holy Bible Amplified Version

This is the important part with the Christian, when we feel like we are being used and abused ( which in most cares we are) just remember that we are serving our Heavenly King Jesus Christ and not man. Our reward will be great in Heaven.

As well the one theme He carries through with me is that when the elderly parent dies Jehovah Jireh (God will supply) will bless us with a comfortable life afterwards.

If I am devoted to the cause of family only, I will soon be exhausted and come to the place where my love will falter; but if I love Jesus Christ personally and passionately, I can serve family though they treat me as a door-mat.

The secret of a disciple’s life is devotion to Jesus Christ, and the characteristic of the life is its unobtrusiveness. It is like a corn of wheat, which falls into the ground and dies, but presently it will spring up and alter the whole landscape.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Helech ‘Olam (The Lord our King Forever) for blessing me with Your wise words to continue to be an obedient free will servant unto You and unto my mother in fulfilling my duty unto You and my mother. Like the Blistering Heat.

When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more, But the righteous has an everlasting foundation Proverbs 10:25  Holy Bible Amplified Version

 Like the blistering heat of the noon sun pounding down upon a man so too does the all encompassing oppression of sorrow, oppression and temptation consume the righteous and wicked alike.

The difference is that there is no relief for the wicked.

But: Like a soft gentle morning dew that quenches the bodies thirst so too comes the loving healing comfort relief of Jehovahs balm to the righteous. The righteous in exhalation cannot but life their hands and voices in sweet joyous song unto Jehovah Ropheka : “The Lord Who Heals God our healer, Jehovah Mephalti God our deliverer, and Jehovah Nacham God our comforter. Truly all praise, glory and honour belong unto Jehovah Heseh the God of love.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Immanuel (God is with us) for blessing me with always walking with me through my many trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares. If it were not for Your Divine grace I would never have made it through these fiery experiences. I praise You in the name of He who walked through the storms on the sea with His disciples Jesus Christ. Amen.

Do Not Be Afraid of Them.

He said, “Come!” And Peter…walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid. and he began to sink, and he cried out, “Lord, save me!” Holy Bible Amplified Version

When the Lord calls us most times there will be loud mouths that step forward with boisterous talk mocking you in public as well as in private. They will boisterously challenge your calling. Do not be surprised if they call you a fool and insane. The worst offenders of course will be family and friends. Boy did they mock and ridicule me and call me insane.

Do not listen to them or they will sink you. And if you do and you will feel yourself sinking under their waves of criticism and mockery, call out to Christ and He will lift you above those boisterous windbags.

Listen to the Lord and have faith in Him. I did and we accomplished numerous amazing things.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Chatsahi (The Lord is my Strength) bless me with the strength and faith (trust) to be obedient unto Your calling no matter the loud mouths antagonistic and critical mocking attitude and behaviour towards me when I obey Your calling. I humbly request this in the name of He who was bitterly mocked on the cross by those who refused to believe Your calling unto Him here on planet earth Jesus Christ. Amen.

We Need Not Look.

 Woe to him who piles up stolen goods and makes himself wealthy by extortion!Habakkuk 2:6 Holy Bible Amplified Version

We need not look to gangsters or big corporations or big government to see extortion.

Just look at families.

How many ex-wives use the children for extortion with their ex-husbands? “ If you want to see the children you must do this for me first.” Speaking with a lot of divorced men the women quite frequently use extortion on the. If you do not believe me go speak with some divorced men and find out for yourself.

How many children use their grandchildren for extortion with their parents? If you want to see the grandchildren you must first do this for me ( usually it involves the grandparents having to give their children money if they want to see their grandchildren. I saw it numerous times in my own family).

Parents and grandparents in seniors homes have their children and or grandchildren come to visit them only because they want money. If you do not give me money I do not have the time to come and visit you. Doing volunteer work in seniors for a number of years it is quite common to see this.

Jehovah hates these disgusting things and the Law of Reciprocation clearly states that it will come back on you seven times worse than what you did to them.

Doing these horrible things is one of the worst sins you can commit and Jehovah hates you for it.

The boastful and the arrogant will not stand in Your sight; You hate all who do evil. Psalm 5:5 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Prayer: Please Jehovah Abba (God our Father) bless me with wisdom, honesty, integrity and respect for all others as You have been with me. I humbly beseech You in the name of the most honest and integral man to have ever walked the earth Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Original Pay it Forward.

Blessed [gratefully praised and adored] be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts and encourages us in every trouble so that we will be able to comfort and encourage those who are in any kind of trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Holy Bible Amplified Version

In the United States and Canada there is a fad going around of paying for the customer behinds bill. It is at best a feel good experience with no long lasting effects.The original pay it forward is the supreme one which has meat to it and has eternal effects.

When we go through trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares, Jehovah Ezer (The LORD our Helper) helps us through them with His Divine comfort, encouragement, strength, provisions and peace. This is the original pay it forward.

As a result whenever we see another, whether they are of Jehovahs family or not we are to do unto others as He has done for us. The results may be an eternal blessing of an unbeliever accepting Christ.

It may prevent a member of our Holy Family from feeling rejected by the church ( the church of Christ is all Christians, not regulated to any one denomination).As a result they turn away from Christ which condemns them to Hell.

It may encourage a non-believer to desire to learn more of our Heavenly Father and desire to join His Divine family.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Abba (God our Father) guide my words and actions to emulate You today and every day so as to bring the little lost sheep to You and to strengthen and heal those in Your Holy Family who need some tender loving care. I sincerely request this in the name of He who was gentle, respectful and loving to all who were receptive unto Him as He walked amongst us Jesus Christ.

Why Don’t They

Most popular TV shows and movies glorify sex out as something lustful and fun. Why don’t they show those same people going to the doctor to get treated for syphilis, gonorrhea and aids?

Why don’t they show an unborn baby being ripped from its mothers womb and being thrown into an incinerator like a piece of garbage?

Why don’t they show most children born out of wed lock join gangs and lead destructive lives?

Why don’t they show the affected one with sexual disease explain to family and friends they have a life destroying disease because of their poor choices?

Why don’t they show people laying in bed afterwards wondering how it feel that someone just used your body to satisfy their lust and how they feel empty, sad and used?

Why don’t they show young people who lose out on going to school, getting a good education and job being cast into the abyss of welfare, booze, drugs and a meaningless life?

Could it be because sex sells while responsible, respectful, loving relationships do not?

Could it be because most people do not want to think of the life altering consequences of their foolishness?

Prayer: Please Jehovah Bara (The Lord Creator) forgive the arrogant who blatantly give You the finger by abusing their bodies and then blaming You when it comes time to pay the penalty. I humbly ask this in the name of the greatest Teacher who was ignored Jesus Christ. Amen.

What is the Differance?

What is the differance?

The peace Jesus blesses us with is that we have a loving Father in Heaven that cares about us and cares for us. No matter how fierce the storms we know He is walking through them with us. It can never be taken from us.

The peace the world looks for is being financially secure. That can be taken from you in a moment with a job loss or bankruptcy. A house, which can be destroyed by fire or natural disaster. Our health, which can be taken from us with one diagnosis from the doctor. Our wits which can be taken from us in an accident or with something like Alzheimer Disease. And of course what good does all this material wealth do for us when we age and our bodies and minds break down, when all of our loved ones and friends have either deserted as we live out our final days in a seniors home where each moment is a living hell of loneliness and sadness?

With us Christians we know Jesus will never desert us and always loves and comforts us.

Doing a lot of volunteer work at a seniors home and watching my parents generation in their elder years, I have seen both sides of this coin and know it to be true.

What good does this material wealth do you as you are terrified as you are drawing our final breath and are going into the unknown (but in reality you know you are going into Hell)?

Christians are blessed with peace in our final breath with the knowledge that our Loving Father will send an angel to us to guide us to our Heavenly home while those in the world are terrified as they know there will be an angel to drag them to the gates of Hell and throw them into eternal damnation and torment.

I Lose but I Win

Every time I have gotten into debate with Jehovah I lose but I win.

I debate with Him my wants, many times even using Bible scripture to back up my point of view. He gently but persistently uses different Bible scriptures to see things in a completely different way.

I lose my fleshly desires but win in obediently surrendering unto His will which is the best for me.

As well I am blessed with new insight into my Beloved and a new way of looking at things.

The reward for this is bringing me into a deeper loving relationship with my Heavenly Beloved.

As well He shows me the rewards for being obedient both spiritually and materially that far surpass my fleshly desires. To the world this is foolishness, stupid and down right insane. To those of us who walk close with Christ it makes perfect sense.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God our Teacher) for blessing me with being so patient with me when I am stubborn and slow to grasp what You are trying to teach me. Thank You that when I submit unto Your wise guidance it is always for my best. I praise You in the name of the wisest Teacher Jesus Christ. Amen.

My Daily Spiritual Feast

To know [skillful and godly] wisdom and instruction; To discern and comprehend the words of understanding and insight. To receive instruction in wise behavior and the discipline of wise thoughtfulness, Righteousness, justice, and integrity. Proverbs 1:1-3 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Every day I enjoy a nutritional feast that prepares me for what ever encounters may come my way during the course of the day.

For breakfast I listen to thirty minutes of inspirational and instructional scriptures and Christian quotes. For an additional part of the meal there is twenty minutes of reading Christian literature.

For lunch there is fifteen minutes reading from the Book of Psalms.

For supper I listen to or watch online sermons and for a bed time snack I again listen to thirty minutes of inspirational and instructional scriptures and Christian quotes.

Instead of watching the rubbish on TV and the lies that are mockingly passed of as news broadcasts why not try these meals instead.

Instead of listening to the filth that is disgustingly passed of as music why not try listening to positive Christian music, especially the old hymns instead.

See the change that evolves in your disposition with in one month.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Bara (The Lord Creator) for creating in my mind, heart and spirit a child that pleases You. For educating me in the proper manner in which to live so as to be wise and avoid the many pitfalls and traps that come my way. This results in a life filled with wisdom, strength and peace no matter what the evil ones through at me. I exalt You in the name of the wisest there ever was, is and will be Jesus Christ. Amen
