Are you powerful and effective in your prayers?
When we are right with Jehovah He will listen and answer our prayers. The reason for this is because our prayers are done with love, respect and admiration for our Beloved.
There have been a few times when an acquaintances friend or loved one was very ill and they asked me to pray for them. Usually with in three days of my praying for them they have recovered. Many times their doctors are baffled by the quick and complete recovery.
The first couple of times it happened I was just thinking it was a coincidence but each and every time the above verse seemed to jump out at me.
It was frightening and I found it difficult to believe I was a righteous man because I erroneously believed a righteous man or woman was perfect.
That is not true.
A righteous man or woman is one who has a deep desire to be led by the Holy Spirit and is obedient to Him. Joseph- Anthony: Green

To me light is knowledge and wisdom of Jehovah and the holy way He desires for us to live.
The more we get to know Jehovah the more joy it brings into our lives as we live in a deeper loving relationship with Him.
The more we live a Holy life the more peace and contentment there is in our lives no matter the raging storms that are crashing around us. We know the Holy Spirit is there to strengthen, guide and encourage us threw them. This brings appreciation for the Holy Trinity which brings joy to our hearts.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God our Teacher) for blessing me with Your brilliant light to guide my life.
This blessing steers me away from a lot of unnecessary trials and tribulations. It directs me away from traps laid out to catch me by the wicked ones.
It enlightens me to Your awesomeness and divine love.
It tutors me into being a righteous child of Yours which blesses me with much gladness and peace. I laud You in the name of the ultimate Rabbi Jesus Christ. Amen.

And Abraham came near and said, “Would You also destroy the righteous with the wicked? Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it? Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”
So the Lord said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.”
Then Abraham answered and said, “Indeed now, I who am but dust and ashes have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose there were five less than the fifty righteous; would You destroy all of the city for lack offive?”
So He said, “If I find there forty-five, I will not destroy it. ”
And he spoke to Him yet again and said, “Suppose there should be forty found there?”
So He said, “I will not do it for the sake of forty.”
Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Suppose thirty should be found there?”
So He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”
And he said, “Indeed now, I have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose twenty should be found there?”
So He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of twenty.”
Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there?”
And He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.” So the Lord went His way as soon as He had finished speaking with Abraham; and Abraham returned to his place.Genesis 18: 23- 33 New King James Version
Notice that Jehovah knows that Abraham is pleading to save his nephew Lots life from the destruction of Sodom.
Instead of coming right out and asking, Abraham dances around the bush. He had no doubt known the wickedness in that city and that it deserved to be destroyed but he was concerned about Lots life.
How many times do we do that with our Beloved?
He knows what we want to ask but is patient with us as we dance around our request.
Most of the time I am polite but direct in my requests to Jehovah and to people.
I have experienced the same dance when people want to ask me something. I want to scream at them and say just ask me already!
Be honest, sincere and respectful in your requests and it will save a lot of time for both of us. Joseph- Anthony: Green
Instead of trying to manipulate Jehovah (which in a way is what Abraham was doing) do you not believe the respectful thing to do is to humbly ask Jehovah for what we want?
Prayer: Thank You Jesus Pryyand (God is my friend) for the amazing privilege of having a loving Devine friend like You that is always available, willing to listen and grant my righteous request. That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man. Ephesians 3:16 New King James Version
Do you see the important phrase in this verse?
It is: In the Inner Man.
The inner man of course is speaking about our spirit. Therefore the riches referred to would naturally be spiritual not physical.
Our physical strength only takes us so far but when we have a strong righteous spirit it will carry us through extreme trials and tribulations, sorrow and snares.
Therefore it is of the importance to strengthen our inner man.
The only way to accomplish this is through daily Bible reading, praying and developing a strong loving relationship with Jehovah. He will gladly strengthen all of His beloved children for the difficult and dangerous tasks that lay before us.
Prayer: Please Jehovah-Chatsahi (The Lord is my Strength) bless me with strengthening my spirit to be the child You desire me to be so I can prosper spiritually through the trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares that come my way. I humbly request this in the name of the strongest spiritual man ever Jesus Christ. Amen.

Think of a loving father that guides his child in how to have mature respectful relationships. That is a good father.
How much more supreme is Jehovah our Heavenly Father?
When we submit to His divine wisdom He guides our thoughts away from evil and towards love and good.
When someone does us wrong our first instinct is revenge. This is a never ending circle of destruction of I get you back, then you get me back even worse. Each time it escalates.
When, instead we pray to our loving Father to take our hand and guide us in the righteous way to handle the matter not only does it prevent a lot of hardship and trouble but it also glorifies Him.
Then there is the unknown.
Perhaps someone did us wrong unintentionally but we take it personally and want revenge. An innocent individual gets hurt. As well, we as ambassadors of Christ blacken His holy name.
This has happened to me on a few occasions and I felt like a fool towards the one I offended and all those present. As well I was deeply ashamed towards my loving Father in Heaven. When the truth came to light I humbly approached them and deeply, sincerely apologized.
We are ambassadors for Christ unto the world. Let our words and actions be done accordingly to bring Him glory not shame. Joseph- Anthony: Green
If we pray for Jehovahs hand to guide us through the situation and are obedient unto His guidance we not only prevent unnecessary harm but bring glory unto Him. Because of this we may be the catalyst to brining lost souls into Jehovahs holy family by our actions.
When we pray for revenge Jehovah is silent. When we pray for wisdom to deal with the situation righteously He abundantly blesses us with holy wisdom. Joseph- Anthony: Green

I have worked in a few companies where there was a lot of envy and selfish ambition. Boy you had to watch your back with all the knives out. It seemed as if everyone was just out for themselves. Many times they would go to great lengths to sabotage a colleagues project just to make the colleague look bad. The work atmosphere was a lot of tension and confusion.
The same thing holds true for relationships.
I have met many shallow and childish individuals that love to gossip and spread rumours because someone else is prettier than them or smarter or richer than them. They do nothing but create ill feelings and chaos wherever they go.
Not only that but I find that those whose are envious and selfish lead lives that are miserable and their moods change faster than the wind. There is no love, joy or peace in their lives. They have no solid relationships. They are very lonely, sad and depressed.
Prayer: Please bless me moment by moment, day by day my cherish Beloved Jehovah-Bara (The Lord Creator) with creating in me a continuous heart of gratitude, love and contentment in all the daily blessings You abundantly shower upon me. I humbly beseech Thee in the name of Your greatest blessing unto me Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Bible will challenge you in your life in so many ways. There are some things it will force you to accept about yourself that needs changing that you do not like. So for example there is a misbelief in many Christian circles that you are to forgive unconditionally. No where does it say that in the Bible.
There is also a misbelief that Jehovah is like a genie in a bottle that only exists to serve us.
These are worldly beliefs.
The way to transform our minds is by reading our Bibles, listening to sermons and having good Christian mentors that will teach us Jehovahs ways and praying for Jehovah to bless you with enlightenment. Then the Holy Spirit enlightens us to be able to test with the scriptures the false teachings and to know Jehovahs will in your life.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Bara (The Lord Creator) for blessing me with creating in me a unceasing heart, mind and soul that desires to be transformed into the precious child You crave for Your child to ascend to. Thank you for transforming a lumpy clod of clay into a cherished vessel on Your Divine potters wheel. I thank you in the name of He who transformed simple fishermen into Holy flames that set their world on fire Jesus Christ. Amen.

We have all done it haven’t we?
Put our foots in our mouths.
That is where we speak thinking we have insight only to be shamed by another when we are proven wrong.
The best way to cure foot in mouth disease is to watch your mouth. Personally many times someone has tried to argue with me and it looks like they have won. Later upon reflecting on what was said I believe the Holy Spirit guides me into knowledge on the subject and the next day I challenge the agitator and they are shamed. I do not intend to shame them but to correct erroneous thought.
The heart of the righteous studies how to answer, But the mouth of the wicked pours forth evil. Proverbs 15:28 New King James Version
At the same time there are many wolves out there that like nothing more than to be agitators and laugh at watching someone go off. They try to get under your skin to cause a fight. On the internet they are known as trolls. They troll like a fisherman.
Many times a fish will bite the lure just because the fisherman keeps on casting in their face.
Trolls do the same thing. They troll for the weak to pick fights with.
I just ask them if they have personal problems and if they would like me to offer information on how to deal with their issues. As well I let them know I am praying for them. They quickly leave me alone.
Before you speak ask yourself these questions: Is it necessary? If not then shut up.
Is this the right place?
I prefer to speak with someone one on one instead of in a crowd. If they are in a crowd their pride can be hurt which will back them into a wall and they become defensive.
Is it the right time?
If it is at work and it is personal choose a quiet place like a café to talk with them instead of causing an incident at work.
Is it being said in love?
Remember Christ is love, satan is war. If you are looking to pick a fight guess which one you are serving? Joseph- Anthony: Green
Am I qualified to talk about the subject?
I have met many who thought they were Mr. Know It Alls only to be made to look foolish because they did not know anything about the subject (myself included on occasion).

How many times have we beat ourselves up over mistakes we have done in the past or bad things we have done in the past and have repented of them?
Remember that when we repent Jehovah gets amnesia, so should we. We must learn from our mistakes but not allow them to be the monkey on our back. Joseph- Anthony: Green
When we commit our lives to Jehovah He will crush the old vessel and remold the new one into a beautiful new creation.
Reflecting back over my past it amazes me how so many times the Holy Spirit has molded me so subtly I was no even aware of it. When being put through the fire to burn off the stubborn bad dispositions in me it amazes me just how much the Holy Spirit walked with me through it.

Now we must look forward. Forward to our Heavenly home and the journey Jehovah has planned for us to get there.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-‘Ori (The Lord my Light) for blessing me with Your divine beam of light that wisely guides me upon the path of righteousness that leads to the Heavenly home You have so graciously prepared for this obedient son of Yours. And He said, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.” (Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.) Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing.Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?” And the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? Notice how when Sarah heard Jehovah was promising to do the impossible Sarah insulted Jehovah by laughing. When Jehovah called her out on it she denied it. Is that not a stupid thing to do?
But, how many times do we do the same thing?
When Jehovah promises to do what we consider impossible we insult Him and laugh and say:” No way, there is no way You and accomplish such a thing it is impossible!”
Is that not a lack of faith?
Jehovah is not angry with us because He knows our minds cannot grasp His true awesomeness and power.
When we commit an offence against another and or Jehovah how many times do we deny it even when we know it is a blatant lie?
So many times I have felt like banging someone’s head against the wall and screaming you know what you did so stop lying.
Now I have learned to just state the fact and walk away. They know they are not getting away with it and it prevents a lot of frustration and anger. The problem is left in Jehovahs hands and as much as they try to deny it with Him, He will deliver true justice to the offender.
Concerning us, as much as we disbelieve Jehovahs promises they will come to pass. When they do our awe, respect and love for Him grows as does our faith in Him.
