Can You Count Them?

 I remember what the Lord Jesus said, ‘I am more happy when I give than when I receive.’ ” Acts 20:35 The Holy Bible The New Living Translation

I have been blessed that it has always been easy to help others.

Sometimes, when reflecting back on the days activities with my Beloved, He reminds me of little things as well as big ones that have been done for others. Many times these good deeds are done out of second nature. We both share a good laugh and He is greatly thanked for the opportunity to share and help others He presented me with through out the day.

But, here is the thing though.

You can be a revolutionary.

By observing your actions you can encourage others to be helpful and giving as well.

It is scary to begin this habit and we always need the Holy Spirits direction in where to go and who to help. When we surrender out will to His, He takes us to amazing places and helps us accomplish amazing feats. Oh, they will not make the six o’clock news but you can bet Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are clapping their hands in Heavens and smiling as they say: “What a wonderful child of mine they are. I love them so much and am so proud of them.”

Now, you do not need to do good deeds to attain Jehovah, Jesus or the Holy Spirits love and approval but just as they are good to you, so too are you to be good to others.

Have you ever though of all the good deeds you have done through out the day?

Can you count them?

Prayer: Thank you El Simchath Gili (Psalms 43:4 GOD My Exceeding Joy) for blessing me with oh so many opportunities to gain spiritual wealth by giving and sharing with those who are worthy of assistance. It makes my heart dance with ecstasy to know this brings joy to Your loving heart. I praise You in the name of He who gave His blood for me to experience the joy of being a child of Yours, Jesus Christ. Amen

The gift of love, the gift of joy, the gift of peace, these are the greatest gifts that can be given. They are given in abundance to all those in Christs family by our Heavenly loving  Father. My Double Blessing.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 New International Version

 

Every day I pray that Jesus molds me to be more like Him.

 

One day I wanted to go to the library to work on my writing. (it is very hot and the library has air-conditioning. As well they are doing construction where I live and it is very noisy).

 

There was a strong feeling to go grocery shopping instead.

 

When at the supermarket there was a one day sale where many of the items needed were half price.

 

While waiting in line an elderly Chinese female tried to queue jump in front of me.

 

I firmly but politely informed her to go to the back of the line as I stretched out my arm to prevent her from jumping in front of me.

 

Chinese are very stubborn and rude so the arm was put out because they just ignore you and do as they want anyway.

 

She tried to ignore me and push in front. I gently but firmly pushed her back and told her in a stronger voice to get to the back of the line.

 

She understood she was not going to get away with her rudeness and the cashier informed her she would not accept her groceries until she got to the back of the line so she angrily went to the back of the line.

 

The other Chinese females were happily impressed. Upon reflecting upon it later I realized that is exactly what Jesus would have done.

 

Please do not be politically correct and say the old female should have been allowed to get away with her arrogant rudeness. Jesus did not accept abhorrent behavior from anyone regardless of age or status and neither should a Christian.

 

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God our teacher) for blessing me in the proper manner in how to deal with arrogant and rude men and women.

 

I give thanks for this gift in the name of he who did not tolerate rudeness Jesus Christ. Amen.

One Causes the Other

A cheerful heart is good medicine Proverbs 17:22 New International Version

 

A grateful heart produces a cheerful heart. The one cause the other.

When we are grateful to our loving Father for His numerous loving blessings He generously gives us, whether big or small, we are to be grateful for these blessings. As we give thanks it fills our heart with joy, or cheerfulness.

 

So too it should be when men, women or children do nice things for us.

As well when we cheerfully give to others it produces and joyous heart in our lives which promotes better physical and mental health as an added benefit.

A benefit of this is better health in both our spiritual and physical lives. Have you ever noticed ungrateful people walk around as if they are sucking lemons all day and they are always sick?

Prayer: Please Jehovah Elohim (God our creator)  create in me a cheerful, grateful heart towards others who are kind to me. Please instill in me a cheerful heart to spread like hot butter on bread love, joy and grace to other which in turn blesses me with cheerfulness. I sincerely request this in the name of He whose gift to me brings me constant cheer Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Canadian Way with God.

But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy.
Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield. Psalm 5:10-12 New International Version

 

Canadians, for the most part, are very laid back and relaxed in our relationships.

I was reflecting on how I present my prayer requests to Jehovah Abba.

It is in a very relaxed and casual way.

Now that also means being respectful of course.

When He blesses me with my request again, I casually, but respectfully thank Him.

 

Think of it like this: you have a loving dad or mom.

You need a bike to go to school or work.

Do you try to con them with many words and fake humility or do you ask them with confidence they will help you out?

When they lovingly grant our request and if possible, get us the best bike there is, do we fall down and kiss their feet or do we give them a huge hug and kiss and say thank you from the deepest part of our heart?

 

Which do you think is more pleasing to God?

Then should it not be much more so with our beloved Father in Heaven than with our earthly parents?

How is your prayer life?

Is it rigid and as loving as a plank board?

The Lord says:” These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is based on merely human rules they have been taught. Isaiah 29:13 New International Version

Or, is it as casual, yet respectful as a loving son or daughter?

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ElHeehu (the Lord our God) that even though there is no even equal to You much less surpass You, You are still so easily accessible and easy to have a fantastic loving relationship with. In deep appreciation I praise You form the bottle of my joy filled heart. I give humble thanks in the name of He who was so laid back and easy going with His disciples when He walked amongst them Jesus Christ. Amen.

They Did It to Him To.

So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” Luke 17:17-18 New King James Version

 

Just think of the amazing blessing Jesus preformed in healing the lepers. They were ostracized from society yet with their cure they could go back to their family and friends.

Yet how many showed Him gratitude for His awesome blessings?

Only one.

So when you do something good for someone, do not be surprised if the majority do not thank you, they did it to Jesus as well.

Just be comforted in knowing that Jehovah knows what you did and you will be rewarded in Heaven for your graciousness.  It will be a jewel that is placed in your crown that Jesus will place upon your head in Heaven.

 

As well, give thanks for the opportunity to show kindness to others as Christ did for you with His sacrifice.

 

I personally just quietly praise the Lord for an opportunity to show His divine love through me, His humble servant. Then, there is no room for anger if I am slighted for the act of kindness I show others.

 

Prayer: Please Jehovah Chanan (God is gracious) remind me to thank you every day for the abundant blessings You graciously shower upon me. Please remind me my love that the ultimate purpose for sharing with others as You have shared with me is to bring You glory and heal the injury inflicted by the calloused ones that take the gifts for granted. I humbly beseech You in the name of He whose innumerous gifts were taken for granted when He walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen.

Proof That Animals Will be in Heaven.

“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them Isaiah 11:6 New King James Version

This is proof that we will be in physical bodies when in Heaven and that animals will be there with us.

 

I do not know if our beloved pets will be there but sure hope so.

Being an animal lover I look forward to the day when I can walk amongst all animals with no fear and  look forward to the day I can play with a tiger or lion.

Which animal do you look forward to playing with?

Prayer: Oh Jehovah Elohim (God our creator) how I long to be in the perfect creation that awaits me in the Heavenly home You have so graciously prepared for me and to enjoy the creatures there in perfect peace, love and joy. I eagerly anticipate thanking You in the name of the King of this amazing place Jesus Christ. Amen.

Sing Praises to Your Name.

Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the Gentiles, And sing praises to Your name. Psalms 18:49

When have you done it?

Love is an action, not an emotion. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Do you love your spouse? If you do you talk about them a lot don’t you?

How about your children? Don’t you like to brag about them?

How about your favourite sports team or singer or pets?

Now, how about Jesus?

When was the past time you sang praises about His gift of salvation He has blessed you with at church?

When was the last time you shared with your neighbour about the marvelous things Christ has done in your life?

When was the last time you shared about His glory He has revealed to you at work or school?  What is that, the politically correct detest even hearing the name of Jesus.

What about that one in the crowd who is receptive to hearing?

Are you going to deny them the chance to be blessed like you have because you are a coward and fear the politically correct?

Do you have little faith or no faith in the power of Christ to protect you from the wicked ones darts of vile contempt they will fire at you?

From my experience I trust in the Lord to open my mouth at the right time to say the right words. I do not fear the politically correct because I know the Holy Spirit will defeat them.

Do not expect a roaring joyous acclamation from society?

From my experience it will only be one or two that will come to talk with you and be interested in learning about Christ. That is okay because even one is important to Jesus.

Prayer: Jehovah my beloved, I know sometimes I am annoying to the ingrates in this world when I cannot but help singing praise to You for all the amazing blessing You have so graciously and abundantly showered upon me in my walk with You to our Heavenly home. I ask oh Gracious one that when I sing praise to you that there are some whose hearts are open to the awesome relationship You long to bless them with when they submit their hearts, minds and lives to You. I ask this in the name of the one who shares incredible revelations of You when He walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen.

You are Not Black, You are White.

“Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow Isaiah 1:18 New King James Version

 

Sin is like the black suite from a filthy chimney.

When you repent Jehovah cleans that filth away like a chimney cleaner cleans the suite from the chimney.

Therefore, you are not black, you are white.

Believe this and stop beating yourself up.

We all make mistakes, welcome to life. But, when we repent those black sins are washed away.

 

Do not believe the lies of satan to beat you down. He does this to drive a wedge between you and Jehovah. Because, if you believe his lies you will be afraid of punishment from the Lord. This hampers you from developing a loving relationship with him and that is satan’s aim.

I know, I used to beat myself up a lot for past sins until I received good Christian counseling and learned to let it go.

Satan tells you, you are filthy, Jesus tells you, you are clean, who are you going to believe? Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Please Jehovah Ropheka (God our healer) bless all your hurting children with the knowledge and faith that when they repent You truly graciously forgive them. I humbly ask this in the name of the one hose blood made this possible Jesus Christ. Amen

You Have Given So Much to Me.

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.” Exodus 20:17  New King James Version

How much unhappiness is in our world today because everybody is trying to keep up with the Jones?

 

How much anger is there in the world because of jealousy?

Why not look at all the blessings Jesus has abundantly blessed you with?

If you are not grateful for all the little blessing Jehovah abundantly gives you every day, why should He give you big blessings?

In the western world so many people think they are hard done by. Go and live in a third world and you will be jealous of how content they are with the smallest of blessings.

 

I know, I have lived in both worlds.

I love to begin and end every day with thanking my Beloved for all the wonderful gives He generously blesses me with every day.

“Lord Jesus, You have given so much to me. . . . Give me one thing more—a grateful heart. Amen.” George Herbert

Prayer:  Thank you Jehovah Emunah (God is faithful) for faithfully blessing me every day for that days needs. I exalt You in the name of He who provided food for the two thousand Jesus Christ. Amen.

I Shall Not Be Moved.

I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. Psalms 16:8-9 New King James Version

To set the Lord before me indicated that we are following the Lords path in our life. The right hand is the one of honesty and strength.

Therefore these verses indicates that we trust and obey the Lords leading and we are not moved by others opinions or motives.

I do not conform to what others think I ought to do but rather to what I know Jehovah has made me to do. Joseph- Anthony: Green

As a consequence of this our hearts are filled with gladness and we know that our glory comes from Christ so we rejoice in His divine leading and strength in our lives.

Our hope is not like hoping to win a lottery (good luck) but rather in the assurance of a rock solid guarantee.

The guarantee of course is confidence that we have a calling, we are walking in that calling, and the Lord provides for us in that calling.

As a result of this we have a guarantee of a permanent Heavenly reward which brings joy to our spirit.

 

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Rohi (Jesus our great Sheppard) for blessing me with a divine calling and the Heavenly joy that comes with walking this path with You. I exalt You in Your magnificent name. Amen.
