Before I moved to China to teach I studied the culture, customs, history and language as much as I could. Even then it took about four years living with them to assimilate with them because there was many things they lived that is not taught in a book or video. After that many Chinese were shocked that I was more Chinese than they were.
So too it is with our relationship with Jehovah, Jesus and The Holy Spirit.
We must daily read scriptures to understand their ways. Of course it is always advisable to pray for The Holy Spirit to be our Tutor to explain the words within The Book so we understand.
As well we need His help to be obedient to follow through on what we learn because many times it takes superhuman powers to do so.
But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything John 14:26 The Holy Bible, The New Living Testament
I ought to know. I have walked with Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for over forty years and am still learning.
Funny thing you know, whenever I was obedient unto The Holy Spirits guidance I always succeeded.
Whenever I was disobedient unto The Holy Spirits guidance I always crashed and burned.
If you want to succeed in life, always listen and obey The Holy Spirits guidance Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God our Teacher 2 Timothy 3:16 ) for blessing me with the most important book to ever read ( the Bible ) and for sending the best tutor The Holy Spirit to teach me the amazing knowledge with in it pages. Yes we have been set apart from the world to serve Jesus. We are His free will servants.
God like means we live, as best as we can, imitating Christs character in our daily lives because we love Him and worship Him. We are not perfect but our heart, minds and bodies are dedicated to Jesus and in service to Him.
So, of course, we who serve Jesus because we love Him and respect Him, when we call out unto Him He not only listens but speaks back with us in return. It is a wonderful experience.

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Christ Melech Olam (Psalms 10:16 The LORD King Forever ) for the honour of being Your free will servant ( I serve You because I want to out of an act of love towards You ). Thank you that whenever this humble servant calls out to His loving Lord, not only does the Lord instantly listen but also send the appropriate help as well. It does not matter if you are working at a fast food restaurant or are a nurse or if you are a garbage man or a police officer. When you are a Christian, your boss is the same. His name is Jesus.
Now, there are going to be times when you must say no to a physical bosses directive because it goes against Christs principles. To be sure you are going to suffer but it does not compare to the reward Christ lavishes upon you when You obey Him rather than man. It may not be an immediate reward and you may not even be rewarded until you reach Heavens Gate but Christ promises rewards to loyal servants and He never lies.
On the flip side of the coin, you may not be appreciated and even be abused by your employer. Take comfort in knowing that your reward will be just as great by Jesus because you persevered.
Great suffering for standing upon Christs principals is rewarded by even greater reward by Christ in His Heavenly home. Joseph a son of Jehovah
Prayer: Thank you Jesus Emunah (God is faithful 1 John 1:9, 2 Thessalonians 3:3 ) that You are true to Your word to this humble devoted servant and I shall receive my reward if not in this life here and now then in eternity with You in Heaven for being Your obedient servant. I praise You in Your righteous name. Amen
