Christ Our Refuge

The Bible is very clear in its declaration that individuals who are not “in Christ” are lost and under condemnation. If you are not “in Christ Jesus” you have not escaped the condemnation and the wrath of God.

The apostle John wrote, “He who believes in Him [Jesus] is not judged” (John 3:18a). Paul wrote “there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). John goes on to say, “he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (v. 18b). The person who does not believe is already condemned and that condemnation of unbelievers is now in the present time.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life” (John 5:24). “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3:36).

The sole basis of this justification and declaration of “no condemnation” is the assurance found in the words “in Christ Jesus.” We were all condemned in Adam, but in the second Adam there is no condemnation.

Christians do sin and fail to bring glory to God, and we do suffer the natural consequences of our sins. However, we do not suffer condemnation because Christ was condemned in our stead.

The legalist tries desperately to please God by obeying the law in his own strength, however it is impossible. On the other hand, the Christian who is under the control of the Holy Spirit experiences the sanctifying work of the Spirit in his daily life.

By an act of simple dependence upon Jesus Christ the believer realizes his position in Christ. “By nature I am in myself, and in sin and I am, therefore, condemned; but when the grace of God awakens me up to know my ruined state, then I fly to Christ. I trust alone in His blood and righteousness, and He becomes to me the cleft of the rock, whereas I hide myself from the storm of vengeance justly due to me for my many offences. The Lord Jesus is typified by the city of refuge,” writes C. H. Spurgeon.

Is your righteousness one which you have worked out yourself, or is the righteousness of Christ imputed to you? Do you look for salvation by self, or for salvation by Christ? “If you can truly say, ‘I hide in Christ,’ then this text warbles sweeter music than ever fell from angel’s lips.” “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Spurgeon added, “Inasmuch as you have believed in Him, you are in Him.”

The promise holds true because the believer is “in Him who can never be condemned. . . If you are in Christ, there is for that very reason no condemnation to you.”

Christ fulfilled the law for you, and since you believed on Him you are justified in Him. “By Christ’s righteous life and substitutionary death, justification has come upon all who are in Him.”

“We are accepted in the beloved,” says the apostle Paul. “By the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”

“Will the Lord condemn those whom He has made righteous?” Will He condemn those for whom He has covered with His own perfect righteousness?”

God has placed the believer in a living vital union in Christ. We have been made one with Christ through a living relationship.

Since we died in Christ and rose with Him, how then shall we be put to death again for the sin for which we have already died in Him? We who are in Christ are justified because Christ is justified by His rising from the dead, and by His taking the position of honor and glory at the right hand of God. “He is our representative and we are one with Him, and what He is that we are. Our union is inseparable, and therefore our condemnation is impossible.”

You are Storing up Terrible

But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. He will judge everyone according to what they have done. Romans 2:5-6 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Prayer: Thank you Jesus that You are a judge who passes judgment in a fair and unbiased manner. May the wicked be repaid seven time more for their vile deed which causes so much suffering to the innocent. I sincerely request this in the name of the Supreme Judge, Jesus Christ. Amen

May you have a grateful heart towards He who has given so much to you. indeovi vas ( may you live with Jesus in Latin )

This I Have Seen Played Out

The Lord detests the proud; they will surely be punished. Proverbs 16:5 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Yes, the wicked will receive eternal damnation for their arrogance but He is also a God who punishes them in this life as well so that others will see His justice.

Being old now I have seen the same scenario played out over and over again.

But they will be destroyed suddenly, broken in an instant beyond all hope of healing. Proverbs 6:15 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Do you notice that their destruction does not mean death and there is no hope for healing?

Here is how it is played out.

The Lord will take away everything they love. Then, their bodies will be wracked with unimaginable agony ( which is ten times more intense than pain ). They will try numerous cures to no avail. They will be in constant pain. As well, because they just used and abuse others they will have no one to care about them. They will be all alone. Which being the type that has to be the centre of attention is a living Hell for them. Many of them will live all alone in their house. Others will be put in old folks homes where no one will care about them. That, is a living Hell. This sentence usually lasts for seven years.

Then, when it is time to depart this world they will be all alone in more agony then they could ever imagine. As well, their hearts will be filled with terror because they know they have passed the point of no return. Yes, they could repent but are too proud to do so.

This I have seen played out so many times in the last ten years.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Hashopet (Judges 11:27 The LORD the Judge ) that You were patient enough to warn all of us who practice wickedness to repent. Thank You that You are fair Judge who shall melt out the appropriate punishment to the arrogant wicked ones. I praise You in the name of the Supreme Judge, Jesus Christ. Amen May you have a grateful heart towards He who has given so much to you.

I Hate it When They

I hate it when they preach that satanic lie of Gods unconditional love. It encourages others to continue to dance with satan all the to Hell instead of repent and avoid eternal damnation. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

The Carnal Mind and a New Mind

George Whitfield, the eighteenth century evangelist, was correct when he said, “If the unregenerate man could enter heaven, he would be so unhappy in heaven, that he would ask God to let him run down to hell for shelter.”

How could the enemies of God sit down at the banquet of the Lamb of God?

Universalism wants us to bury our heads in the sand.

The carnal mind is enmity against God all the time.  So why would such a person ever want to be in God’s holy presence?  It is against everything God is for in His universe.  It sets the world system and all it teaches in opposition to the LORD God.

The carnal mind is a “depraved spirit that is set on those things which are not proper” (Romans 1:28).  How would you know one if you saw it?  Romans 1:29-32 says, “Being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.”

It is a dreadful picture of human depravity.  The apostle then declared, “Therefore you have no excuse, every one of you who passes judgment, for in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things” (Romans 2:1-2).

There is a day coming when “God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus” (v. 16).  It is not because we do not deserve it.  The Bible testifies that we are all guilty.  “But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who will render to each person according to his deeds” (Romans 2:5-6).

After a detailed presentation of our sins against us in Romans chapter three, the apostle Paul concludes, “But glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God” (Romans 2:10-11).  “You who boast in the Law, through your breaking the Law, do you dishonor God?” (Romans 2:23).

How many of us have not wished in the depths of our hearts, “Would to God these sins were not forbidden!”  Spurgeon asked, “Who among us has not been so foolish as to desire that there were no God?”

But neither solution makes the problem go away.  We still stand guilty before God.  “Every carnal mind in the world is at enmity against God.”

The carnal mind declares that by our very nature we are the child of evil.  What part of man was affected by the fall?  The entire man, every part of him – every power, every passion is at enmity with God.  You may say, “Oh, Wil, I am not really that bad.”  God says, “The heart is deceitful above all things.”  It is desperately wicked.

Why would any carnal person want to be in the holy presence of a righteous God? It would mean to be guilty and condemned twenty-four hours a day. We would never be able to escape His holy, hot wrath.  Our sense of guilt would always be a state of awareness.

The only solution to the desperate plight of man is to have a new mind and a new heart.  If we have not experienced a change of heart, our carnal mind will always be at enmity against God.

Our thoughts, our decisions, our behaviors all testify that we deserve God’s holy wrath.  Every person born into this world deserves God’s wrath and damnation.

Because we are guilty sinners, God must provide the solution.  Since the carnal mind is at enmity with God, salvation cannot be by any merit on our part.  It must be by God’s grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ.  If we are at enmity with God, what merit can we have?  How can we deserve anything from the person we hate?  Therefore, God must step in and rescue us by His grace.

The Spirit of God must lay His hand on you and renew your heart or there is no chance of your entering into heaven.

Jesus Christ can make peace through His blood.  If the Spirit of God has convinced you of your sin as you read this, you can become a new creature, a new person, with a new heart if you will ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior.

By our physical birth we are at enmity with God, but by the new birth we are made His friend.  Our nature must be changed if we are to enter into God’s holy presence.  Here is the most precious promise for every sinner to believe.  “As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life” (John 3:14-15).

SELAH! Pause – reflect- just think of that!

Carefully Read the Warning Label

Depravity.

That is not a beautiful word. It means that the corruption of sin has extended to all aspects of our nature, including our entire being. Because of that corruption there is nothing man can do to merit or influence in any way a saving relationship with a holy God.

The fallen person’s relation to a holy God has been radically affected. Because of the effects of the fall, man’s original relationship with God was broken and our entire nature was polluted. As a result of the Fall of man, no individual can do anything, even religious things, that will merit salvation, or eternal life, in God’s sight. There is nothing an individual can do to influence in a positive way a right relationship with God. No action that man does, no matter how good or religious can gain favor with God for salvation.

What was affected by the Fall? The mind (Rom. 1:28Eph. 4:18), the conscience (Heb. 9:14), the heart or inner being were all corrupted spiritually (Jer. 17:9Mk. 7:20-23).

We see the depravity of mankind most clearly in the rejection of Jesus Christ in John 1:11. “He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him.”

Spiritual depravity is demonstrated by the willfulness and spiritual blindness of everyone apart from the grace of God. The cross of Jesus Christ is the response of fallen man to the goodness of God (1 Cor. 2:14).

How far did man fall? The Bible tells us that when man fell into sin he fell all the way to the bottom and there he lies hopelessly lost, blind and spiritually dead, unable to help himself until God reaches down by grace, lifts him up and gives him spiritual life through the new birth (Rom. 3:9-18).

Left to ourselves we are not the least bit righteous. Sinful man has no ability to save himself (Jn. 1:13). We are corrupted by sin and in rebellion against God.

The apostle Paul tells us how our sinfulness affects a holy God. “The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness” (Romans 1:18). The wrath is revealed against us because we are without excuse (vv. 18-32; cf.1:18; 2:5, 8; 3:5; 4:15; 5:9; 9:22; 12:19; 13:4-5).

The reality and terror of the wrath of God is emphasized in both the Old and New Testaments.

The Bible places emphasis on the wrath of God as a strong and settled opposition to all that is evil. This holiness comes from God’s very nature. He is a holy and righteous God.

The wrath of God is that in His character that is in absolute opposition to all that contradicts His holiness.

God does not flare up with red hot anger as human beings do, but His wrath is described in the Bible as a firm, fearful, hatred of all wickedness that builds up and will one day result in eternal condemnation of all who reject His grace and mercy provided through the atoning death of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Robert Haldane said, “The wrath of God was revealed when the sentence of death was first pronounced, the earth cursed and man driven out of the earthly paradise, . . but especially by the reign of death throughout the world. It was proclaimed by the curse of the law on every transgression and was intimated in the institution of sacrifice and in all the services of the Mosaic dispensation. . . . The whole creation has become subject to vanity and groans and travails together in pain. . . But above all, the wrath of God was revealed from heaven when the Son of God came down to manifest the divine character, and when that wrath was displayed in His sufferings and death in a manner more awful than by all the tokens God has before given to His displeasure against sin.”

Biblical Christianity is God reaching down to save perishing sinners, not men and women reaching out to Him. Jesus Christ died for those who deserve God’s wrath. His death is fully adequate to cover all our sins and depravity and to reconcile us to God (1 John 1:6-9Rom. 3:21-265:12-21).

Jesus Christ is our only hope. Be sure and read the label. There is a day coming when men are warned to flee the wrath of God (2 Thess. 1:6-102:11-12Heb. 10:29-31). The coming of Jesus Christ a second time will be suddenly and unexpectedly. Some will meet Him as their Judge and other as their Savior.

If you have never put your trust in Jesus Christ for eternal life I pray that you will right now. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved today from the wrath of God for all eternity.

SELAH! Pause – reflect- just think of that!

These Horrors Will Serve as a Sign

“If you refuse to listen to the Lord your God and to obey the commands and decrees he has given you, all these curses will pursue and overtake you until you are destroyed. These horrors will serve as a sign and warning among you and your descendants forever. If you do not serve the Lord your God with joy and enthusiasm for the abundant benefits you have received Deuteronomy 28: 45-47 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

“The Lord himself will send on you curses, confusion, and frustration in everything you do, until at last you are completely destroyed Deuteronomy 28: 20 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

The Lord will strike you with wasting diseases, fever, and inflammation, with scorching heat and drought, and with blight and mildew. These disasters will pursue you until you die. Deuteronomy 28: 22 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

“The Lord will afflict you with the boils of Egypt and with tumors, scurvy, and the itch, from which you cannot be cured. The Lord will strike you with madness, blindness, and panic. You will grope around in broad daylight like a blind person groping in the darkness, but you will not find your way. You will be oppressed and robbed continually, and no one will come to save you. Deuteronomy 28:27-29 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

The Lord spoke to me a while back concerning my family. Let us just say they are so wicked even black sheep would be ashamed of them. I know God warned them about their bad behavior through reading the Bible, He sent others to warm them about their bad behavior. He spoke to them through dreams. He gave them signs.

They refused to listen.

Then, their destruction came upon them quickly and there was no cure. They suffered for about 7-8 years like they never suffered before. Then, when it was time for them to die, they died a slow agonizing death. I have witnessed this amongst their friends as well.

Beware. God is a God of justice. You cannot lie your way out of it. There is no plea bargaining nor parole for unrepentant sinners. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

And the heavens proclaim his righteousness, for he is a God of justice. Psalm 50:6The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah El Gemuwal (Jeremiah 51:56 The LORD GOD of Recompenses ) that You are faithful to Your word to give back as was given. I praise You in the name of He who decides whether gives entry to Heaven or casts down to Hell, Jesus Christ. Amen May you have a grateful heart towards He who has given so much to you.

Means to Judge.

This morning the Lord spoke to me. And, this is what He said:

The tribe of Dan means to judge. Dan: The Hebrew verb דין Deen  means “to judge” This is the root of the name דן dan (#1835), meaning a “judge,” By Jeff A. Benner

The tribe of Dan will also be warriors that will fight and be victorious over their foes.

Dan will be a snake beside the road,  a poisonous viper along the path that bites the horse’s hooves so its rider is thrown off. Genesis 49:17 The Holy Bible, The New Living Testament

Once a cavalry man is thrown off of his horse he is pretty much defeated.

The tribe of Dan was the one of the original settlers of Russia.

Putin is the sword of the Lord punishing the west for their filthy lifestyle such as embracing homosexuality, trying to force one world government on us (WEF is satanic and as such is warring against Gods children and thus God ). For forcing the toxic vaccine in the scamdemic which has ruined millions of men and womens lives.

The Lord is using Putin as a judge passing judgment upon the decadent west .

If you follow the war on a YouTube channel HT ( Hindu Times ) it seems as if every move the west ( and it is NATO and the U.S.A that is fighting this war ) Putin knows what they are doing and check mates them. He keeps on throwing them off of their horses and defeats them.

For the last two days prior to this all of the devotionals were on how God punishes the wicked.

Selah: Stop and think about it.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Elohim Shophtim Ba-arets (Psalms 58:11 GOD that Judgeth in the Earth ) for using a nation to bring about the destruction and punishment of the wicked ones who arrogantly believe they are gods and no one can touch them. They delight in causing suffering.

I pray Lord that You inflict them with the most slow, painful death as punishment for all the suffering and death they are responsible for.

I praise You and humbly request this in the name of The Supreme Judge, Jesus Christ. Amen
