My Greatest Education.

” But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.”James 3:17  New International Version

The greatest education is not to be found in some Ivy League school not a famous technical school. It is to be found at one single source, The Holy Bible. Oh you can become an egg head, but still be a loser in life. What we sorely need to be taught in all our schools throughout the world is good morals. The only place to find that is in the Bible. You may go to school to learn economics but do you have the knowledge between what is right and what is greed. Do you have the scruples not to make bad deals which may cheat seniors out of their retirement funds? You need the knowledge of the Bible in every aspect of your life, from choosing a friend, to choosing a mate to choosing the right choices in your business dealings.

I have been to many schools where a useful education was gained that is carried with me to this day. But, the greatest education I ever received was in studying the Bible. You know something great about the Bible? You can read and hear a Bible verse many times and it means nothing to you. Then, when it is needed in your life the verse will jump out at you and its secret revealed to you to help you deal with a situation I your life where you need its wisdom.      

If we lack wisdom, God’s wisdom, we need only ask of Him and He will grant it when we ask in faith, according to His promise in James 1:5.

It is the greatest teaching tool in life. Use it generously. It is Gods gift to you. It is free and is useful in every aspect of your life. It will prevent a lot of troubles, heal you and bless you with peace during the troubling storms.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God our teacher) for blessing us with the best guidance book that is chock full of the best life advice there ever was. In the name of the greatest teacher Jesus Christ. Amen.

Hurry Up and Die.

People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control,  brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 2 Timothy 3:2-5 New King James Version

One day in the supermarket line up the headline in a national magazine caught my eyes. It read:” Hurry Up and Die.”

The jist of the article is that many people that went through the great depression of the nineteen thirties scrunched and saved their money.

Their foolish materialistic children have gone in debt way over their heads. The children are not concerned because they believe the money they will get from their parents inheritance will pay their debts.

A consequence of this is many of the elderly are abuse by their children and grand children. They cheat their parents out of money, throw them into a seniors home and only come around when they want money. I have seen and witnessed this pathetic scenario too many times.

As I was reading the article 2 Timothy 3:2-5 flashed into my mind and pretty much every word there describes these low life’s I have met.

Now mind you, there are a lot of abusive parents that are unrepentant towards their now adult children so I believe they are getting their just due (although that does not excuse the children any more than the Pharisees were excused for nailing Christ to the cross).

Prayer: Please Jehovah KalEl (voice of God) whisper in the ears of the ingrates that the commandment after loving you is loving our parents. Abusing parents is hideous to You. As well my Beloved whisper in the ear of the parents whose children lovingly respectfully care for them to not be so difficult towards them but to be appreciative of them. I humbly ask this in the name of Your most loving and respectful son Jesus Christ. Amen.

Are You a Chaser?

Those who work their land will have abundant food, but those who chase fantasies have no sense Proverbs 12:11 New International Version

Do you spend money on winning the big on instead of using it to buy groceries?

Do you fall for what in my opinion are scams by investment companies with their get rich schemes?

Do you buy books on how to get rich quick?

The only ones I have ever seen get rich are the ones scamming gullible people out of their money. And today there are even more with the internet.

I am constantly amazed at how greedy people are, and really is that not why they fall for these scams?

 

I do not really know what to invest in as every time, (through no fault of my own, I was wiped out because of injuries and no money the investments had to be cashed in where as I was nailed with a lot of fees which took half my investment).

I have learned one thing though and that is when we walk the Christian walk Jehovah will always provide for us.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh (God will provide) for promising and delivering on Your promise to always provide for Your beloved obedient child. I praise You in the name of He who provided food for the five thousand Jesus Christ. Amen.
