It is Impossible To

Those who are in the flesh [living a life that caters to sinful appetites and impulses] cannot please God. Romans 8:8 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Because Jehovah is spirit we cannot please Him if we are consistently living a destructive life of fleshly pleasure. He desires you to mature in spirit because that makes you a holy and righteous child of His. In the process of this we become ever closer to Him in spirit.

The Christian creed is Jehovah first, others second, self last. The worldly creed is myself first, others get the leftovers and Jehovah gets nothing. Joseph a son of Jehovah

When we cater to the fleshly desire we are selfish and greedy. We do not care about anybody but ourselves.

Jehovah desires you to have a loving relationship with Him and then to emulate that out to others.

It is impossible to please self and to please God Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Oh my cherished Jehovah Abba (God our Father) I love to please You above all others because of Your immeasurable love for me.

Please bless me to exhibit Your love towards others so as to guide them to a Heavenly love which none other can compare.

I declare my love for You in the name of He whose love for me led Him all the way to the cross Jesus Christ. Amen

May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah

He Who Has a Head of Wax

Establish my footsteps in [the way of] Your word; Do not let any human weakness have power over me [causing me to be separated from You]. Psalm 119:133 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

I believe Jehovah instills in us all certain weaknesses in our spirit and in our dispositions. Try as we may we cannot conquer them even though we know they are destructive.

The reason for this is so that we learn to depend upon Him for guidance and strength. It is when we realize we are weak that we go humbly to Jehovah and request both His spiritual and mental strength to defeat these overpowering destructive traits. He answers in numerous manners.

Sometimes He will guide you to Godly councilors (which may take years before there is victory. This teaches you patience, faith and perseverance).

Sometimes our weaknesses are too strong for us to control so He teaches us to be dependent upon Him (boy has He ever come through on that one for me).  Sometimes He will exorcist in on His own (to exhibit His strength so you learn to have faith in Him and depend upon Him).

Sometimes He will work in harmony with you to destroy it (this is to teach you not to be arrogant and think you do not need His help).

Chances are there are times of temptation. Even though they come from satan they are used by Jehovah to test you to see if you are strong enough (He knows whether you are or not, He just wants you to know) or if you are wise enough and have faith enough to call upon Him for help believing He will answer you.

Those who have a head of wax must not walk out in the sun (know your weaknesses) Anonymous

Prayer: Thank you El Deah (God of knowledge) for blessing with the knowledge of my strengths and weaknesses. Thank you for directing me to Godly councilors whom have helped me immeasurably to learn how to handle them to give glory to You.

Thank you that when I fail in tests You are not angry with me but rather are just teaching me I have a ways to go.

Thank you that in Your grace You help me when in need of controlling the weaknesses so as to not shame Your name.

I give all glory to You my Love in the name of He whose strength conquers all weaknesses Jesus Christ. Amen

May your house be filled with joy in the morning and sweet dreams at night. May it be a home where love has come to live. Joseph a son of Jehovah

But a Living Presence

.

But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness. Galatians 5:22 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

It shows in our daily lives whether or not we are Christians.

I go by the motto: Do not tell me, show me.”

How unselfish are you with your tithes( yes we are still to give a tenth) and for that matter how much more do you give? Now if you are financially challenged you can give of your time which is perhaps more valuable than your money.

Do you have the joy of Christ in your lives (happiness is physical but joy is spiritual) or are you a Debbie Downer, always complaining?

How much peace do you have when dealing with challenging situations (now we all have our breaking points but that is to be the exception to the rule)?

How kind are you to others, like shoveling the snow for a senior or cutting their lawn in the summer?

Are you faithful in your daily life unto Christ or is it just for an hour on Sunday?

These are but a few important questions that we need to honestly ask ourselves.

If there is any area lacking there is only one answer: pray man, pray, that Jehovah reveals to you any and every area in which you are weak in and to guide you to the proper course of action to take, including asking Him for the strength to shore up these weaknesses.

This should be done on a daily basis because the weaknesses can and do sneak in subtly without or knowledge.

“Christianity is not a theory or speculation, but a life; not a philosophy of life, but a living presence.” Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Prayer: Oh my Beloved Jehovah Abba (God our Father) may You please bless me with Your Holy attributes every day so that I may bless others to be a light that shines in a dark world and bring the lost into Your most amazing family. I humbly request this in the name of my big brother Jesus Christ. AMEN

May your house be filled with joy in the morning and sweet dreams at night. May it be a home where love has come to live. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Is Afraid of Sausages

A wise man suspects danger and cautiously avoids evil, But the fool is arrogant and careless. Proverbs 14:16 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

I have seen far too many folks go from one disastrous relationship to another. It seems as if they never learn. They are arrogant and refuse counselling saying that this time is different. The end result is one disaster after another. The same goes in every aspect of their lives.

Now the wise man learns from his mistakes, and the biggest mistake of course is to depend upon our own knowledge rather that Jehovah’s.

You may think you are smart but con men love to prey upon arrogant simpletons like that.

The opposite side of the coin is where folks see the boogy man around every corner because they have been burned bad. Again, they are depending upon their own knowledge rather than Jehovah’s to guide them through life. Their life is just as big of a disaster.

You want to be a wise man or woman?

Then always go to the supreme guidance Councillor for advice. His name is the Holy Spirit and He will come whenever you call. Believe me, I have learned this most valuable lesson in the school of hard knocks. It took many repeated lessons to learn it and take my word for it, they were not enjoyable to repeat.

A dog bitten by a snake is afraid of sausages (after being hurt you become more cautious).

Prayer: Thank you El Deah (God of knowledge) for blessing me with Your Divine knowledge throughout my life. May I always be attentive to Your voice, understand what You are saying and be obedient unto Your wise advice. I humbly give thanks and ask this in the name of the wisest Rabbi of all Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill your heart today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Not Avoid It.

Turn to me, and be gracious to me; Grant Your strength [Your might and the power to resist temptation] to Your servant. Psalm 86:16 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Notice it says resist temptation and not avoid it. The writer knows full well it is impossible to flee from all temptation so he requests Divine strength to endure the attack of the wicked one.

The evil one who knows his prey and how to tempt him or her.

Sometimes Jehovah will not intervene on our behalf because He wants us to understand we are strong enough to fight some of our own battles.

On the flip side of the coin, He also knows the battle is too great for us and is waiting for us to call upon Him. This helps us to not be arrogant and foolishly believe we are strong enough to withstand temptation on our own.

Steadfast in believing doth not exclude temptations from without. When we see a tree firmly rooted, we do not say the wind doth not blow upon it. John Owen

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Shammah ( The Lord is Present) for always being present through my plentiful temptations that come my way every day. May I make You proud when I vanquish them on my own when strong enough and be wise enough to call upon You when they are to overpowering for me to resist. I humbly request this in the name of He who overpowered satan in the wilderness Jesus Christ. Amen

Wishing you a house full of sunshine, hearts full of cheer and love that grows deeper each day of the year. Welsh blessing

Do Not Take Too Much Hay

One hand full of rest and patience is better than two fists full of labor and chasing after the wind. Ecclesiastes 4:6 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

I have seen far too many work themselves into self destruction. They never have enough. It is like trying to catch the wind, it is impossible. They work overtime every opportunity they can get just so they can buy that new car or go on that great cruise. If you have a family they are the ones that suffer because of your absence. You will lose in the long run as well. Because you neglected your children when they were young, when you get old and need help they will neglect you.

Could this be the reason there is so much road rage on the highways today?

You also lose with your mental and physical health. You will have nervous breakdowns, you will have insomnia, you will develop ulcers, you will develop heart problems. Then what good does all that money do you?

Live a simple life and take time to be with your family and with your Heavenly Father. It is much more beneficial to you.

Do not take too much hay in your pitchfork (do not take on too much work).

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Shalom (The Lord blesses with Peace) that You bless me with peace when I rest in Your presence both in my daily life and during that one special day we commune together. I exalt Thee in the name of the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Before a Fall.

Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall. Proverbs 16:18 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

How much credit do you give unto Jehovah for the blessing He has bestowed upon you?

So say you are really good at playing a musical instrument and someone compliments you on it. Do you become puffed up with pride or do you give all glory unto Christ? If you do the latter it is a great opportunity to share Jesus with others.

Beware though.

What Jehovah has blessed you with, he can just as easily take away from you in the blink of an eye. So say you are a star athlete with an ego problem. Then one day you feel weak and go to a doctor. After an examination he or she informs you that you have the beginning of MS. Where is your strength then?

Pride is taking credit for the gifts Jehovah has given us. Joseph: Anthony- Green Prayer:

May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah
