Circumstances May Appear To

Blessed Assurance Jesus is Mine

God does not intend for His saved child to live the Christian life without the blessed assurance of eternal life.

The apostle Paul had a profound conviction that nothing will be able to separate the believer from the love of Christ (Rom. 8:31-39).

Jesus spoke of double assurance or security for the believer when He said to His disciples: “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch them out of My hand . . . and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one” (John 10:27-30).

We have “been born anew to a living hope” (1 Pet. 1:3-5). We are guarded by God’s power through faith for salvation. Because the new birth has taken place in our lives, we have the presence of the Holy Spirit within us (Rom. 8:23). He is called the “first fruits,” the initial promise and pledge of a greater harvest to follow. The Holy Spirit does a work in our lives producing His fruit that is characteristically different from our human nature. The Holy Spirit is evidence of assurance because “we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His own Spirit” (1 Jn. 4:13).

The ascension of Christ to heaven to be our advocate is another great assurance for the believer who has been saved by grace. Jesus “ever lives to make intercession on our behalf” (Rom. 8:341 Jn. 2:2). He is our great God and “He is able for all time to save those who draw near to God through Him” (Heb. 7:25). Do you have an intimate love relationship with your Savior? Are you abiding in Him and He in you? Spend time with Him every day. Learn to go into His presence throughout the day and make yourself available to Him all day long.

God’s sovereignty gives assurance to the sinner saved by grace that “all that the Father gives Me will come to Me; and him who comes to Me I will not cast out” (Jn. 6:37). Have you taken these words of Jesus to heart and believed on Him alone for your salvation? God’s eternal purpose of salvation is such that He will accept and forgive all who trust Him for salvation.

Have you taken John 3:16 seriously? “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” Every person who hears His voice and follows Him will never perish or can ever be snatched out of His hand. And they can never fall out of His hands because Christ has His hands securely around the believer and God the Father has His hands around His Son! “My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all” (Jn. 10:29). How big is you God? Is He as big as Jesus claimed His Father to be? A God that big can provide eternal assurance for the weakest believer who is acutely aware of his sins and weaknesses. Have you confessed your need for Him to save you and keep you saved? Have you asked Him to save you? Are you trusting in Him alone for salvation?

If you are trusting in your good works to save you, then you should be filled with anxiety regarding your salvation. How can you ever have assurance that you have done enough good works, or are good enough, or perfect enough to be saved? Such presumptive pride should cause you to tremble before the Lord God (Matt. 7:21-23Heb. 3:12).

Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone (Eph. 2:8-9). Will you now put your faith and trust in the finished and all-sufficient work of Jesus Christ to save you for all eternity? When you do you can find eternal security. “He who begin a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ” (Phil. 1:6).

SELAH! Pause – reflect- just think of that!

All of Grace

Grace—what a sweet fragrance. It is the greatest theme in the Bible.

Abounding grace, wondrous grace, boundless grace, fountain of grace, unfailing grace, unmeasurable grace, electing grace, matchless grace, overflowing grace, redeeming grace, pardoning grace, plenteous grace, unfailing grace, fullness of grace, efficacious grace, magnified grace, refreshing grace, sovereign grace, and salvation by grace, grace rich and free!

“Oh to grace, how great a debtor.”

God is exceedingly gracious to sinful man. Grace is the unmerited and undeserved favor of a holy God upon sinful depraved human beings. It is His kindness, love and nature to be gracious to humanity.

Grace is the very opposite of merit. It is totally undeserved favor of God toward the sinner. However, it is more than that, it is favor shown to the one who has deserved the very opposite.

What better definition of grace can you find than that expressed by the apostle Paul in Romans 5:8? “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

In contrast to contemporary man’s thinking, God does not owe sinful man anything. Every blessing humanity enjoys is the result of God’s “common grace.”

Every person is a recipient of God’s “common grace” whether he acknowledges it or not. However, “common grace” saves no one, and it never has. We need “special grace” to be saved.

“Saving grace,” on the other hand, redeems sinful man for time and eternity.

The apostle Paul tells us that no matter how great our sin, the grace of God is proven greater. “The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Rom. 5:20-21).

“Sin increased,” actual transgressions increased, but “grace abounded all the more.” More grace added to this super abundance of grace. Grace was added to more grace, over and above the grace that super abounded, with even more grace added to that!

“Oh, to grace how great a debtor”!

Do you need grace? Come to the fountain of super abounding, flooding grace!

All the Law can do is point its finger and say, “You are guilty!” It condemns sinful man. It shows sin for what it is in the eyes of God.

However, God has more than an abundant supply of grace. There was plenty of sin, but much, much more grace in superabundance. There is victory for the sinner in grace.

This superabundant grace replaces the reign of sin. We do not have the power to break free from sin, therefore it reigns and we cannot escape the penalty of death. “The wages of sin is death” (Rom. 6:23).

However, God’s grace reigns through the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Yes, grace triumphs when God imputes His righteousness and gives eternal life to the sinner who believes on the saving death of Jesus Christ to save him (Jn. 3:161 Pet. 1:18-19Rom. 5:6810:9-10138:15:1-22 Cor. 5:21).

God is gracious.

What is your response to God’s saving grace? Your eternal destiny depends upon your response to His saving grace. Christ died for you so that “whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

The great preacher of grace, John Newton, wrote:

“Amazing grace! How sweet the sound

That saved a wretch like me!

I once was lost, but now am found,

Was blind, but now I see.”

“The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.”

Selah!

The Father Cried Out.

At once the father cried out. He said with tears in his eyes, “Lord, I have faith. Help my weak faith to be stronger! Mark 9:24 The Holy Bible, The New Life Translation

Leave It in His Hands.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Being independent is satans trick to get us to plunge ourselves into painful failures and distance ourselves from Jehovah Joseph a son of Jehovah

In my infancy in Jehovahs family it was exceedingly difficult to trust in Jehovah and leave it in His hands. It is inherent in the fleshly family to be fiercely independent, which of course leads to many unnecessary disasters and hard times. It took many years and suffering to finally surrender it all to Him.

Even now, even though I know this is the right thing to do , sometimes it takes great battles to surrender my will to His.

There is great battle, which the weapons of Christ is memorizing Bible verses and intense prayer. These are guaranteed to bring victory to the soul, mind and spirit of every Christian.

When You give your problem unto Jehovah, leave it in His hands. Trust Him that He will do what is right, not what you want.

There is no sense in asking Him for His advice if you insist on not waiting for Him but going out and doing what you think is right. That always leads to disaster. Joseph a son of Jehovah

The other problem with depending upon yourself is that it lulls you into the false sense of security in your own intellect and physical prowess. This causes us to refuse to include Jehovah in our daily living. This only leads to catastrophe.

Self achievement brings a false sense of assurance that somehow we can live a pure life in our own ability. This attitude ultimately leads us to cut ourselves off from the heart of God and, in turn, to deny our true identity in Christ.” David Edwards

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah for blessing me with sending me The Holy Spirit Elohim Ozer Li (Psalms 54:4 GOD My Helper) to help guide me along the trail of life You have chosen for me to travel. May it always glorify Your name and help guide others along the path You have chosen for them to travel. I praise You in the name of He who obeyed You all the way to the path that lead to Calvary Jesus Christ. Amen

May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day along the path He has chosen for you to walk with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah
