Thank You.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 100:4 The Holy Bible The New Living Translation

Oh my Love, thank you that no matter how strong the storms lash at me whenever I recollect all the blessings You have generously bestowed upon me, my heart cannot but dance with joy. With each stanza of thanks Your bright light of love comes ever more powerful and evaporates the most stubborn of darkness in my heart.

And, of course, there is the greatest gift You bless me with which creates an euphoria in my heart, that is when You bless me with communion with You.

Thank you that whatever the burden is that is heavy upon my shoulders I go into a quiet place to be with You and You bless me with a lightened heart that dances a jig of gratitude for all of Your graciousness You have generously bestowed upon me and this strengthens me to continue on.

I thank you in the name of He who understands what I am going through because He has walked in my shoes, my closest confidant with whom I share all my challenges with because He understand Jesus Christ. Amen

May the light of Christs love shine brightly in your heart today and every day Joseph a son of Jehovah

Our Hearts Dance with Delight and Praise.

HEART OF GRATITUDE

Weeping may last through the night but joy comes with the morning. Psalm 30:5 The Holy Bible New Living Translation

When we are sad, discouraged and or heavy burdened it seems as if clouds of darkness envelope us in the darkest of darkness.

Yet, when the Lord come to help us, encourage us and lifts that burden from our shoulders when we surrender to them, the dark clouds dissipate and flutter away. They are replaced with the sunshine of Jehovahs love and joy which make our hearts dance with delight and praise.

“The greater my knowledge of the goodness and grace of God on my life, the more likely I am to praise Him in the storm.” Matt Chandler

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) Judges 6:12 for blessing me with Your encouragement, strength, comfort and guidance not just in the dark days but in all my days. Thank is one of the greatest blessings there can ever be. I exalt You in the name of my most cherished blessing Jesus Christ. Amen

Whatever is beautiful, whatever is meaningful, whatever brings you joy, may you be blessed with an abundance of it this every day this year.

Close To the Brokenhearted.

SPIRITUAL STRENGTH

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (contrite in heart, truly sorry for their sin). Psalms 34:18 Holy Bible Amplified Version

When you have lost a loved one through death or divorce or because they have left the nest, your heart is crushed and your heart is broken, why not take it to Jesus?

When walking amongst us did not His family divorce itself from Him and did He not experience broken heartedness when one of His loved ones died? Did He not suffer separation from our beloved Father on the cross?

I have lost many loved ones and He was there to comfort me as no one else could or would.

When you lose your job or home why not take it to Jesus?

Did He not experience homelessness? Didn’t he and His disciple sleep in the wilderness where there was bandits, scorpions and many man eating predators?

I have been homeless and living in a tent surrounded by bears. It was taking security that

I went to sleep with no concern of being attacked while sleeping

Did He not lose His job as a carpenters son (He did not go right from being a carpenters son to His ministry.)?

There have been many times when, through no fault of my own, I was released from a company (usually because they went bankrupt) that I believed I would be at for all of my working years. It was He picked me up when I felt like giving up and going out and pounding the pavement and or upgrading my skills and getting another place to work. For those of us over fifty that are considered unhirable why not ask Jesus how you can be blessed with self employment?

When you are crushed and brokenhearted because of illness, didn’t Jesus experience the pain of whipping and beating in His body and the agony of hanging on the cross? I was a sickly boy with very bad asthma and water on the knee. It was only in reading the Bible and talking with my beloved Jesus that a lot of that pain was endured and I felt His presence the closest to me.

So will He not be close to you and heal you spiritually when you experience these things (He may not heal your relationships or get your job or home back or heal your illness but will He not as a loving Savior be close to you and heal your spirit)?

Indeed may these not be viewed as a burden but rather as a blessing?

It is in our hard times that we are the closest to Jesus. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Shammah (God is present ) for Your life giving presence with me through my oh so many trials and tribulations. If You were not there I do not believe I would have lived through oh so many of them. I give thanks for this wonderful loving care through Your son who experienced everything I have and so much more Jesus Christ. Amen.

May Jehovahs sweet love envelope you today a and every day.

Is Not Worthy of Me.

GOD IS IN THE FURNACE WITH US

And he who does not take his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me] is not worthy of Me. Matthew 10:38 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Sounds pretty cut and dry does it not?

If you are not willing to suffer for Christ, you are not worthy of Him. How many churches or Bible study groups do you hear that preached?

Now that you have heard it are you willing to pick up your cross and when you are a Christian you can be sure you will be carrying many crosses. Although this sounds absurd it is actually a blessing for us. Because we carry the cross when it becomes too burdensome for us to carry Christ comes along side of us and helps carry it with us. That brings us into close fellowship with Him.

Suffering brings folks closer together  than good times do and who better to come closer to that Christ? Joseph a son of Jehovah

As well, when we conform to Christ’s life we live a simple uncomplicated life which bring peace of mind. Not to be constantly tormented by the material world where you never have enough or the politically correct world that changes its values quicker that the spring weather on the north west coast of Canada (the Queen Charlotte Islands).

Prayer: Thank you Jesus ‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) for blessing me helping me carry the cross You have laid upon me to carry in my service and worship to You. No matter the agony and or the misery You are worth it. It is an honour to emulate the most beautiful best friend there could ever be and the most worthy Eternal King. I praise You in Your grandiose name. Amen

May your house be filled with joy in the morning and sweet dreams at night. May it be a home where love has come to live. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Fights Against It.

So now [if that is the case, then] it is no longer I who do it [the disobedient thing which I despise], but the sin [nature] which lives in me.  For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh [my human nature, my worldliness—my sinful capacity]. For the willingness [to do good] is present in me, but the doing of good is not. For the good that I want to do, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want. Romans 7:17-19 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

It is a constant battle.

Although we are Christians in spirit we are still flesh and blood with fleshly desires that fight against the spirit.

How many times have we spoken foolishly with words that hurt others (whether intentional or unintentional)?

How many times have we looked at someone and wanted to jump in the sack with them (yes women do it as well as men)?

How many times have we looked down on another because of their race, nationality or social standing?

These things are said to be natural and they are, for the flesh.

But as Christians we are to live super natural lives.

We cannot succeed on our own initiative.

Thankfully we have the ultimate superpower readily available to assist us. His name is the Holy Spirit.

I cannot count the number of times I call upon Him every day. It is so reassuring to know He is always there and deeply gratifying as well. He has prevented numerous disasters in my daily life.

Make a habit of always opening your mouth to Him first before you open it to someone else Always make a habit of running to Him before you run to your fleshly desires first. It prevents untold painful catastrophes

The true Christian hates sin, flees from it, fights against it, considers it his greatest plague, resents the burden of its presence, mourns when he falls under its influence, and longs to be completely delivered from it.”J.C. Ryle

Prayer: Please JehovahMa’oz (Lord my Fortress) bless me to always be able to take shelter in Your strong fortress when the enemy comes attacking my mine with destructive thought which are repugnant unto both You and I. Please bless me with the proper weapons to defeat the wicked foe when He comes slithering into my daily life so as to remain a righteous child of Yours. I humbly request this in the name of He who used Your Holy Scripture to defeat His foe in the wilderness Jesus Christ. Amen.

May your house be filled with joy in the morning and sweet dreams at night. May it be a home where love has come to live. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Blessed is Any Weight

Cast your burden on the Lord [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you;
He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail). Psalm 55:22
Holy Bible, Amplified Version

“Blessed is any weight, however overwhelming, which God has been so good as to fasten with His own hand upon our shoulders.” — F. W.Faber

Now why in the world wold any weight be considered a blessing?

How many folks forget all about Jehovah during the good times but go a running to Him during the bad ones?

I believe the weight that endures over a sustained amount of time is the best.

The reason?

Those who are shallow in their relationship with Christ will quickly fall away when they do not receive instant relief. They will go to worldly councilors which is little if any use to them. They will cry out to their government to save them and the government shall be unable to assist them.

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, But we will remember and trust in the name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and fallen, But we have risen and stood upright. Psalm 20: 7-8 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

Those whose hearts are open to Jehovah will experience the blessing of His hand in their experience and their faith (which means trust) will grow. So too, will their respect, love and admiration towards our loving Father in Heaven.

It is in our hard times that we grow the most and come the closest unto Jehovah. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ‘Uzam (The Lord is our Strength in Trouble) for blessing me with the strength to continue on through the trial and tribulations, sorrows and snares that come my way. Thank you that You walk through them with me. I praise You in the name of the greatest source of strength of all Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Known by His Deeds.

Even a child is known by his deeds, Whether what he does is pure and right. Proverbs 20:11 Holy  Bible Amplified Version

When I was a teacher sometimes the children would misbehave. When I went to punish them they pleaded not to be punished and promised not to be naughty again. I agreed not to punish them if they would behave. Not even five minutes later they would be little monsters again. When I reminded them of their promise they laughed in my face and refused to acknowledge their promise. That is when the hammer came down and they received worse punishment. That quickly put a permanent end to that unacceptable behavior.

They knew what they were doing was wrong.

Without discipline there is chaos. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

I see it so often today when children are delinquent and the liberal judges let them off. This is wrong. Let the punishment fit the crime otherwise they just get worse.

You can bet with the teenagers when they are terrible you can trace it back to their childhood and lack of discipline in the family and in the schools. Then when they become adults they foolishly believe they can do what ever they want and there is no retribution for their behavior.

Most times they are disrespectful on their own initiatives.

Do not tell me it is not their fault it is societies fault, I did not make them do it. Do not tell me it is because they are poor, some of the most respectful folks I have ever met were dirt poor, do not tell me it is the families fault, I have met many respectful families whose children are little monsters and a heavy burden on the parents.

It does not matter how good or bad parents raise their children it is the childrens choices in their lives and the decisions they make will come back to either bless them or curse them. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Please Jehovah Hashopet (The Lord is the supreme Judge) bless me to wisely teach the youth of today wisdom, integrity and righteous morals so as to avoid Your terrible judgement. I sincerely request this in the name of the Supreme Judge Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Focus to See the Light.

weary

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me [following Me as My disciple], for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest (renewal, blessed quiet) for your souls. Matthew 11:29 Holy Bible Amplified Version

We all suffer from trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares.

The difference between the ones walking in darkness and those of us that are walking in the light is that we have a Father in Heaven that loves us, cares for us and about us.

We have a choice. We can carry the world on our shoulders, or we can say, “I give up, Lord; here’s my life. I give you my world, the whole world.” –Bruce Larson

They have no one that has the perfect healing touch. Jesus loves you.

Jesus cares. Jesus is always there. Joseph- Anthony: Green

When we suffer the loss of a loved one we can always take our pain and sadness to Jesus. Do not forget how he weeped at His friends grave.

When we have lost our homes do not forget that Jesus was homeless.

When we are sick do not forget the sick Jesus healed.

When we have been betrayed do not forget how one of His own disciples betrayed Him. When our family and or friends reject us because of our walk towards our heavenly home do not forget how Jesus’ own family rejected and bitterly mocked Him.

When we suffer from exhaustion do not forget how exhausted Jesus was from his preaching and healing.

When we are facing death from a slow disease killer do not forget how Jesus knew about the type of death He must suffer.

Because Jesus walked amongst us He has experienced everything we have and so much more.

Be assured, if you walk with Him and look to Him and expect help from Him, He will never fail you. —George Müller

So when we are experiencing our difficulties remember to focus on He who is the light of the world. He will comfort you, heal you, encourage you and walk with you through it all because He loves you.

It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light. –Anonymous

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-‘Ori (the Lord is my Light) for lighting my world with Your Divine love, assurance, comfort and strength in my darkest moments. I praise You for this blessing in the name of the light of the world Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Satisfy the Heart

heart-at-peace

In peace [and with a tranquil heart] I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety and confident trust. Psalm 4:8 Holy Bible Amplified Bible

Today I see so much anger, depression and stress.

Do you wonder why?

Many say it is because we live in such a fast paced world where folks want instant gratification.

When I walk, sit down and enjoy communion with my Beloved in Gods Cathedral (nature) I experience peace and tranquility such as may be blessed in no other manner.

Many say it is because with the electronic and internet world there is no face to face conversations anymore and society does not nurture personal relationships.

No matter where I am Jehovah is always there and we share casual and deep conversations. He never puts me on hold, is too busy or bored to share communion with me. We enjoy a deep loving, respectful relationship.

Many face deep depression because they have no one to talk with and listen to them or bless them with wise advice.

Jehovah is always there, Jehovah always cares. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Jehovah is always there for me when I need Him. He patiently listens to my cries and when I am exhausted he blesses me with His gentle love ans peace. Then He blesses me with Divine wisdom to resolve all my problems.

Read your Bible about what Jesus experienced when he walked amongst us. There is not one thing you are going through that he has not experienced.

What are you waiting for Child?

Jehovah is waiting for you with open loving arms. Go to Him and He will bless you with Heavenly peace, love and joy.

“Who except God can give you peace? Has the world ever been able to satisfy the heart?” Gerard Majella

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Shalom (The Lord blesses with Peace) for blessing me with peace through the many storms in my life. Thank you with blessing me with Your Heavenly joy that is only nurtured through daily communion with You. Thank you for blessing me with the most awesome love affair there ever was, is and can be. I thank you for these cherished treasures through the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Only if You Let It.

flowers caressing blazing red cross

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee. Holy Bible , American Standard Version

I am a caregiver for my elderly mother. She is extremely stubborn and independent. Because of health reasons she has lost a lot of her independence. This causes a lot of friction between us. Many times I feel like I am going to explode and I have to get away from her. The only thing to calm me down is a cigarette. As well she is stubborn and refuses to listen to listen to anyone. She is right and the whole world is wrong (even though she does not know what she is talking about). Then when things go south she always blames everyone but herself. I go almost a month without smoking and then she gets into one of her moods and look out. Then I need a cigarette and we do not talk with each other for a few days. This has been going on for three years. Each time I prayed for wisdom on how to handle her and then read an article on how a man was stressed out and was told that the reason for his stress was because only if you let it stress you out it will. Now that sounds reasonable but then how do you handle the situation? Later while reading the Bible this verse suck out to me: Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee. Holy Bible , American Standard Version

It makes perfect sense.

When stress comes I remove myself from the situation and allow it to drive me to my knees where I belong in prayer. And Jehovah answers my prayer with peace and strength.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Machsi – Lord my Refuge for blessing me with the privilege of entering into Your holy sanctuary where You bless me with peace, healing, comfort and fortitude to carry on in my duties (duty is an act of love) to You and my mother. I praise You in the name of the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Cleavet: It has taken a year and a half but mom has finally settled down and there is a lot less problems now. She has even begun going back to church regularly for the first time in forty years. I have almost kicked the nicotine habit and know by Gods grace one day it shall be permanently conquered.
