 Trust In and Rely

Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. Proverbs 3:5 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

It takes time and experience to trust in the Lord, it does not happen all at once.

It has taken many decades and trials and tribulations to learn to trust in the Lord in every aspect of my life.

Now, I do not make decisions but rather trust in the Lord for His divine guidance.

Of course there will be times of testing when the Lord see’s how good of a student I am in what He has taught me. Sometimes I still fail but that is okay.

Do you remember when you were in school?

Did you pass every test that was given to you?

Of course not.

That is not bad it just means you have not learned the lesson good enough so it must be taught to you again.

So too it is with the Lord. When you admit your failure, apologize for it and am willing to learn from it Jehovah forgives you and proceeds to teach the lesson again. It will not happen the same way because then you are ready for it and that is not trust.

“Trust the past to God’s mercy, the present to God’s love and the future to God’s providence.” St. Augustine of Hippo

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Emunah (God is faithful) for blessing me with the patience and forgiveness when my faith in You was weak. Thank You that You have slowly and with forbearance strengthen my trust in You. I exalt Thee in the name of He who trusted You all the way to the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Who are they?

And Jesus was saying, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.” Luke 23:34 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

Who are they?

Have you ever wondered that?

Just who was Jesus asking to be forgiven?

I do not believe it was the scribes nor the Pharisee’s. They knew what they were doing and history proves they were punished severely for their actions.

Then, who are they?

I believe it was the Roman soldiers who were responsible for beating and crucifying Christ. To them, they did not realize just who Jesus was. He was just another criminal to them. They were doing their job and would have been brutally punished if they refused to obey

. How many are in the same situation when they harshly treat Christians in a country where they are not well known? To them the Christians are just trouble makers and upset the stability of the country where they live. Do you think they will be forgiven as well?

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Elohay Mishpat (the God of Justice!) that I need not fret over true justice being met out when left in Your Divine hands. I praise You in the name of the Supreme Judge Jesus Christ. Amen

Wishing you A house full of sunshine, Hearts full of cheer, Love that grows deeper each day of the year. Welsh blessing

Destroying Your Heart.

A happy heart is good medicine and a joyful mind causes healing, But a broken spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Instead of being broken hearted when someone does me wrong I call Jehovah to heal me. He always blessed me with peace and love. It does not matter what another has done to me or said about me when I call upon my Beloved He always answers me with love and peace.

Yes they are forgiven because that is part of the healing process.

It is a well known medical fact that those that hold on to grudges and hurt have it causing them medical problems like ulcers and heart problems.

“Forgiveness doesn’t excuse their behavior. Forgiveness prevents their behavior from destroying your heart.”Unknown

Then, yes I have the right, which I exercise, to pass judgment upon the perpetrators. Not because I want revenge but in the process of the punishment they will repent and we can be reconciled both in our relationship and in theirs with Jehovah.

If they refuse to repent the Lords hand will be heavy upon them until they reach the point of no return and are destroyed because of their arrogance and meanness of heart.

Therefore [the crushing weight of] his disaster will come suddenly upon him; Instantly he will be broken, and there will be no healing or remedy [because he has no heart for God]. Proverbs 6:15 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Prayer: Please YAHWEH-Ropheka (God our healer) heal me from any anger, bitterness or hatred towards any who have wronged me so that I may continue to grow in our Divinely loving relationship. For those who have unfairly wronged me place Your hand heavy upon them and let them know this is because they need to reconcile and repent. I humbly ask this in the name of He who forgave those who nailed Him to a cross Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

We All Fall Down.

For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again Proverbs 24:16 Holy Bible Amplified Version

I do not care how long you have been a member of the Family of Jehovah, I do not care how strong your trust in Jehovah is we all fall down.

That is when the wicked one will come and mock you and tell you Jehovah is angry with you and you are not fit to be a member of His divine family. Do not believe him.

When we sincerely repent ( which means we admit what we did, admit it was wrong, apologize for it and stop doing it ) then we are forgiven.

I think an important note about repentance is for parents to set the example and repent to their young children ( and old ones of course) when we mess up. It teaches them integrity which will carry them through life and they will respect you for it.

This process is carried through out our life here on this planet until Jehovah takes us to our Heavenly home.

We will stumble and crawl our way to Heaven, not strut Joseph son of Jehovah

Do not be arrogant and foolishly believe yourself above this because that is when you are easy prey for satan.

Therefore let the one who thinks he stands firm [immune to temptation, being overconfident and self-righteous], take care that he does not fall [into sin and condemnation]. 1 Corinthians 10:12 Holy Bible Amplified Version

I know in my early walk with Christ there were times when I was absurd and believed I was strong and oh how hard was the fall and how deep them shame. Thankfully there was repentance on my behalf.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Hoshe’ah – ( The Lord Saves ) for graciously saving me and lifting me out of the dung pit we all fall into on occasion in our walk to our Heavenly home. I praise You in the name of He who lifted Peter out of the waves that were enveloping Him Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

Once Forgiven , Always Forgiven.

his-mercy

As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:12 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Even though you have become a Christian do you still beat yourself up over the wicked lifestyle that you participated in before you came to Christ?

Why?

Have you repented of them ( Repent means admitting what you did was wrong – especially to those you have wronged if possible . Then apologizing for it. After that you must ask for forgiveness. ) . Then stop beating yourself up.

Jesus’ motto is ; ‘ Once forgiven , always forgiven. “

So , if Jesus does not beat you up why would you waste your time doing it?

There is no sin that cannot be forgiven when you repent. Joseph- Anthony: Green

“Blessed [forgiven, refreshed by God’s grace] are those who mourn [over their sins and repent], for they will be comforted [when the burden of sin is lifted]. Matthew 5:4 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Sometimes even though Jehovah has forgiven your sins , you must still pay retribution to those whom you have wronged. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Sometimes even though you have repented you must still pay retribution for your sins to society . So for example , say you got drunk , got in an accident and crippled someone , you must still pay retribution to those you have injured and justifiably do prison time.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Hashopet (The Lord is the supreme Judge) for sanctifying me ( which means making you holy ) through the horrifying bloody sacrifice of Your most beloved son Jesus Christ. I am eternally grateful for this unwarranted gift and worship You in whose blood my filthy sins were cleansed Jesus Christ. Amen

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

There is No Fear

WORSHIP CONSCIENCE

There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love]. 1 John 4:18 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

I believe that John was referring to repentant Christians in this passage.

Those who do not belong to Christ and unrepentant Christians have every right to fear Jehovahs punishment.

Hell is real, it is not pleasant and is for an eternity. There is no plea bargaining before Jehovah nor parole. Joseph- Anthony: Green

On the other hand, there is no need for a repentant Christian to worry about Jehovahs wrath. Christ has paid for our ransom and repentance is the second key.

Yes, Jesus’ blood has paid the price for our sins but if we continue in them that sacrifice is made null and void.

When we love Jehovah we desire to please Him and that means living a righteous life.

No one lives without sin. If that was possible Christ would not have made His horrifying sacrifice.

However when we sin and come before Jehovah with a sincere heart that is remorseful for what we have done and pray for the Holy Spirits power to be in us to overcome this weakness not only will our sins be forgiven but the Holy Spirit will bless us to conquer our habitual sins which are too strong for us to defeat on our own.

I know, there were many strong habitual sinful habits that I tried to conquer on my own only to crash and burn. When they were surrendered to the Holy Spirit He INSTANTLY forever destroyed them.

Now sometimes we must work in conjunction with the Holy Spirit by say getting into good Christian counseling to deal with the underlying reasons for the weakness (so sometimes someone abuses alcohol and or drugs to kill the pain of something tragic and painful earlier in our lives that they have not dealt with).

Again, I know of that of which I speak because I was blessed with Godly Christian councilors that took a year of counseling to deal with those issues. Many others it takes two or three years.

Prayer: Thank you Jesus-M’Kaddesh (The Lord is my Sanctifier) for Your cherished gift of sanctification (sanctify: to purify or free from sin) through Your holy blood when we repent of our weakness (sin) and thank you through the gift of the Holy Spirits ultimate power of forever smashing the destructive addictions in my life. I am eternally grateful in Your wonderful name. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Taking Matters Into Your Own Hands.

WAIT UPON GOD

Now it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out to his brethren and looked at their burdens. And he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren. So he looked this way and that way, and when he saw no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. And when he went out the second day, behold, two Hebrew men were fighting, and he said to the one who did the wrong, “Why are you striking your companion?” Then he said, “Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you intend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” So Moses feared and said, “Surely this thing is known!” When Pharaoh heard of this matter, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh and dwelt in the land of Midian; and he sat down by a well. Exodus 2:11-15 Holy Bible  New King James Version

Taking matters into your own hands leads to disaster. Depending upon Jehovah leads to success. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Revenge is where you want to hurt somebody worse for doing you wrong. Then they get some family and friends and get you back worse. After that you get some of your family and friends and extract even worse revenge on the perpetrators.

That is how wars start.

Even today in many parts of the world there are groups that hate each other because of something that was done centuries or even eons ago.

When I was tree planting and we had some Africans working with us we could not have certain groups in the same camp. If they were they would try to kill each other on site with axes, shovels and what ever they could get their hands on. It is insanity at its worst.

In the United States the Hatfields and Macoys was a real event that lasted about a hundred years. In Canada we had the Black Donlleys which ended in a bloody massacre.

Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave the way open for God’s wrath [and His judicial righteousness]; for it is written [in Scripture], “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. Romans 12:19 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

The Christian is to pray for the perpetrators to be moved unto repentance and have faith that if they persist in their evil, wicked ways Jehovah will punish them appropriately.

I have witnessed Jehovahs vengeance against those who wronged my and I can assure you it is a terrifying site to see.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Hashopet (The Lord is the supreme Judge) for being the wisest and fairest Judge of them all and for vindicating me in You time and in Your way. Please bring all those who have unfairly persecuted me to a repentant heart so as to avoid Your terrible judgment. I humbly request this in the name of the Supreme Judge on the day of judgment Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
