Psalm 23 Explained in Todays Terms

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

In His presence I am supplied with all I need for today.

He makes me lie down in green pastures,

He leads me beside quiet waters,

In His presence I am quieted from the turmoil in and around me.

He restores my soul.

In His presence I am built up, forgiven, refreshed.

He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

In His presence I am guided along the right paths for me, paths that will honor His name.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil, for You are with me;

In His presence I can be fearless in trusting Him even with destruction and death are all around me.

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

In His presence I am comforted because I know He is equipped to watch over for me.

You prepare a table before me, in the presence of my enemies.

In His presence I am nourished and protected even when I’m in unfriendly territory.

You anoint my head with oil;

In His presence He anoints me with healing and with love.

My cup overflows.

In His presence I am filled to overflowing regardless of outer circumstances.

Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life,
I am pursued by His mercy and His goodness every day.
His presence calls me.

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
In His presence I am secure for today and forever.

You Made All The

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Psalm 139:13 The Holy Bible The New Century Version

You are not some coincidence nor accident.

Jehovah made you a treasure and if you allow Him to, He will make you into a masterpiece.

On the other hand when you murder ( abortion. Murder is the unnecessary taking of a life. What crime has that innocent child committed worthy of execution? ) an innocent child you are stirring up Jehovahs wrath upon you.

Of course if you repent, your sin will be forgiven.

Prayer: Oh please Jehovah Bara (The Lord Creator Isaiah 40:28 ) speak to the hearts of every woman that is considering having an abortion and instead give the baby up for adoption where a loving Christian couple would gladly accept it as their own. I implore in the name of He who made adoption into Your family possible, Jesus Christ. Amen

Seleh- stop and think about it.

All Sufficient Sacrifice of Jesus Christ

The very same all-sufficient sacrifice of Jesus Christ that enabled God to save us is sufficient to keep us saved for all eternity.

Does sin have the power to set at naught the saving power of God? Is it possible for the power of sin to be more powerful than the blood of Jesus, the Lamb of God?

The LORD God has effectively dealt with every sin that has ever been committed (Heb. 9:11-1210:10-14). The Son of God is “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29). He was not just any person dying on a cross, but the sinless Son of God who was giving Himself as a substitutionary sacrifice for all who would call upon His name.

When Jesus died on the cross, all of our sins were imputed to Him. They were charged to His account, like putting money in the bank. God treated Christ as though He had actually committed those sins (2 Cor. 5:211 Jn. 3:5Rom. 4:251 Pet. 2:2224).

The result of the death of Christ was that all those sins have been paid for in full and God no longer holds them against us, because we have trusted Christ as our Savior. That is not all; the demands of God’s holy law have been fully met by Christ in His death once for all.

Those who believe will never have their sins imputed against them again (Ps. 32:1-2Rom. 4:1-8). As far as their records are concerned, they share the perfect righteousness of Jesus Christ.

The present condition of lost sinners is not because of their sin, but because of their unbelief. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:17-18).

The blood of Jesus is sufficient to cover every person’s sin, past, present and future. The sacrifice has been made once for all. No other sacrifice can or will be made. It is all-sufficient for all sin for all mankind forever. However, no one is automatically saved by that death. The death becomes effective when the lost sinner calls on the name of Jesus putting his faith in Him to save and give everlasting life. The only condition is to believe on the saving work of Christ on the cross. All that a person has to do to be lost is nothing. To not believe is to say in effect Jesus did not die for me. To believe on Christ is in effect to declare that He is all-sufficient to cover all my sins for all eternity. The sacrifice has been paid in full. There need be no other and no more. All my sins, past, present and future are under that blood that cleanses.

Judgment is already passed on all who refuse to believe on Christ as their Savior sent from God (John 3:1836). However, “As many as received Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name” (John 1:12). “God has given us eternal life” (1 John 5:11). The problem is people love spiritual darkness rather than the “Light” of Jesus.

Salvation is received through believing in the finished work of Christ on the cross. People who reject the saving gospel of Christ are already under condemnation because they have not believed. They stand condemned. However, the believer in Christ is “not condemned,” and he “will not be condemned” (John 5:24). The person who believes on Christ has “everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death to life.” The believer has eternal spiritual life now, which is endless (Jn. 3:36). When we trust in Jesus, we have in the present time “eternal life.” No judgment will come in the future regarding eternal life. He will not be judged “because he already passed from one realm—“death”—into another—“life” (Eph. 2:15). We have passed from eternal death to eternal life. Jesus described the resurrection of the lost sinner into eternal life. With the apostle Paul we can also proclaim, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ” (Rom. 8:1).

The believer is a sinner, even though he is a redeemed sinner. The difference is that he confesses his sins and claims the forgiveness of God in Christ (1 Jn. 1:6-7). “The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin” (v. 7).

The only difference between condemnation and salvation is faith in the atoning work of Jesus. Acts 4:12 says, “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” Jesus gives eternal life to anyone who believes on Him because He has already died for that person.Selah!

If There is No

If there is no repentance, there is no forgiveness.

Jesus did not tell the woman caught in adultery to keep on going out on one night stands but rather to go out and sin no more.

When someone sins against us we are to forgive them but if they refuse to repent we are to avoid them because they are not sorry for what they did, and they will continue to do it.

Not only that, but the abuse will just get worse.

If we must be in a relationship with them like at work, the relationship shall be formal. Do not talk with them unless you have to and make your answers just yes or no. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

10 Rules for a Happy Day

1. TODAY I WILL NOT STRIKE BACK:

If someone is rude, if someone is impatient, if someone is unkind… I will not respond in a like manner.

2. TODAY I WILL ASK GOD TO BLESS MY “ENEMY”:

If I come across someone who treats me harshly or unfairly, I will quietly ask GOD to bless that individual. I understand the “enemy” could be a family member, neighbor, co-worker or stranger.

3. TODAY I WILL BE CAREFUL ABOUT WHAT I SAY:

I will carefully choose and guard my words being certain that I do not spread gossip.

4. TODAY I WILL GO THE EXTRA MILE:

I will find ways to help share the burden of another person.

5. TODAY I WILL FORGIVE:

I will forgive any hurts or injuries that come my way.

6. TODAY I WILL DO SOMETHING NICE FOR SOMEONE, BUT I WILL NOT DO IT SECRETLY:

I will reach out anonymously and bless the life of another.

7. TODAY I WILL TREAT OTHERS THE WAY I WISH TO BE TREATED:

I will practice the golden rule – “Do unto others as I would have them do unto me” – with everyone I encounter.

8. TODAY I WILL RAISE THE SPIRITS OF SOMEONE WHO IS DISCOURAGED:

My smile, my words, my expression of support, can make the difference to someone who is wrestling with life.

9. TODAY I WILL NURTURE MY BODY:

I will eat less; I will eat only healthy foods. I will thank GOD for my body.

10. TODAY I WILL GROW SPIRITUALLY:

I will spend a little more time in prayer today: I will begin reading something spiritual or inspirational today; I will find a quiet place (at some point during this day) and listen to GOD’s voice!!! “But since we belong to the day, let us be self controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and hope of salvation as a helmet.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:8

May I suggest we Christians start voting for politicians that have Christian morals like The Christian Heritage Party for the election here in Ontario Canada. Our rights and freedoms depend upon it.

He Also Reminds Us That

God will help me; the Lord will support me. Psalm 54:4 The Holy Bible, The New Century Version

The Holy Spirit not only convicts us of our sins but assures us that when we repent they are forgiven. We do not need to beat ourselves up about them anymore. He also reminds us that they are forgiven and forgotten when satan tries to pull a guilt trip on us.

There has been many times when satan has beaten me down because of my past.

The Holy Spirit always comes and assures me that they are not only forgiven but also forgotten.

Now, when the wicked one tries the guilt trip, I just ask Him if we can discuss it with Jesus. You might be surprised how fast he vamooses ( gets as far away from me as he can ). Joseph a son of Jehovah

When we are going through our hard times ( which we all do ) Jehovah sends The Holy Spirit to support us with comfort, encouragement, strength and wisdom as He guides us through the valley of trouble. He assures us that Jehovah loves us so He will never desert nor leave us.

We need not worry about our mental, physical nor financial health because just as every good Daddy does, He provides for us today, tomorrow and forever ( that does not mean we can behave foolishly and believe He will deliver us from the consequences of our actions).

“Trust the past to God’s mercy, the present to God’s love and the future to God’s providence.” St. Augustine of Hippo

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Emunah (God is faithful 1 John 1:9, 2 Thessalonians 3:3) for always being faithful in providing for my every need like the loving Father You are. I thank you in the name of Your most beautiful Son whose blood provided for my forgiveness, Jesus Christ. Amen

That is Disgusting to Jehovah.

God, have mercy on me, a sinner (Luke 8:13 New International Version)

Every one of us are sinners. Sometimes it is intentional, sometimes it is unknowingly.

When The Holy Spirit convicts us it should be like a flaming sword to our hearts. It should make us drop to our knee’s and cry in anguish and shame out to Jehovah for forgiveness.

The other part of this equation is that it should also make us cry out in desperation for The Holy Spirit to show us the manner in which to correct the wrong we have done. That is a true repentant heart. That is the prayer that Jehovah long to hear and listens to.

To say you are sorry without any desire to make amends is to say you want forgiveness with no accountability. That is disgusting to Jehovah. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Oh my Beloved Jehovah Emet (God of truth Titus 1:2 ) thank you for sending The Holy Spirit to guide me in the truthful manner in which to truly repent with a sincere heart. May I always be receptive and obedient unto His wise guidance. I humbly request this in the name of He whose blood made this all possible, Jesus Christ. Amen
