No one can hurt your feelings without your consent. No one can make you angry, disappointed, intimidated, or jealous.
Substitute any reactive emotion with the wisdom, strength and self control of The Holy Spirit. Whatever it is, no one can afflict you with it without your consent.
You can choose to see things differently when you depend upon The Holy Spirit to open your eyes to Jehovahs meaning instead of societies or your own faulty reasoning. It’s the only one you’ll ever need.
The people we interact with become how we treat them, more than we’d like to admit. That is why wicked company corrupts godly souls while godly souls mould us more into Christs character.

It happens to all of us.
There are folks that abuse us at some point in our lives.
Some repent and some do not.
Irregardless, the wound cuts deep and there is bitterness in our hearts. If we are not careful the root will grow deep like a dandelion root. It will poison our spiritual life, our mental life and our physical life until it destroys us. The root grows too deep for us to rip it out. We need to call upon the Master Gardener for that.
His name is Jesus and you can call Him anytime at P.R.A.Y.
Do not think this will be a one time call. Sometimes the seed comes back and we need to call the Master Gardener again. Sometimes those weeds will never be completely eradicated until we reach the Gates of Heavens home for us.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah YAHWEH Ropheka :God our healer, for blessing me with Your Divine healing. Some of the wounds were deep and infested my soul for decades. Christians should not care about recession nor depressions. These are every eight to ten year cycles in which there is extreme loss of property due to job loss. Having been through numerous of them it was devastating until the point was reached of having faith in our Heavenly Father as maturity in our relationship drew us ever closer by the day. Now, there is confidence in His provision which He has promised to me.

We do not live in a free society in the west anymore.
So many have turned their backs upon Jehovah and refuse to listen to Him. Indeed they are very offended by righteous morals. Yes there is absolute right and absolute wrong and it can only be found in the Bible.
We see law after law suppressing our rights to appease wicked men and women. In society today we see very little of good morals (it is all about me and it is not my fault is todays mantra).
We have a legal system but not a justice system.
There is no moderation it is buy, buy, buy. All the time going deeper into debt and becoming slaves to the big banks.
There is no frugality today. No one saves for the hard times and then cries for the government or mom or dads ATM to rescue them.
We see everybody screaming about how they have their rights but few talking about how they have their responsibility.
Be fare warned.
History does repeat itself.
Look at the past to see what is coming our way real soon.
Do not forget that the roaring twenties was preceded by the dirty thirties. Look at what has happened in every society when they became liberal and what happened to them (hint, it was not pretty nor pleasurable).

One thing I have learned in my long walk with Christ is that a good name is worth more than a big bank account. There have been times when I was honest even though it cost me a little with local merchants ( Like one time I forgot to pay for an item that cost a dollar and walked two miles back to pay for it. Most folks laughed and thought I was stupid. However, now that merchant always gives me better deals than they do anyone else. Now, they are indignant and ask what makes me so special? ).

The other benefit of being honest is that I sleep good at night while the dishonest worry about getting caught ( which they always do ). Most dishonest people suffer numerous health problems and they can all be traced back to stress caused by worry of getting caught and being greedy.

I know of one man that I asked to help me and he replied that he could not because he did not have gas money to come here to help me and then he went out fishing. Now whenever he tries to scam me ( scamming is where you try to get something from someone without giving anything in return) he is reminded that if he does not have gas money to help me he does not have gas money to scam anything out of me, it drives him nuts.

The greatest reward of being honest is the blessing of becoming closer to my Beloved in Heaven. As a consequence He warns me of those who deal dishonestly.
I have seen many say that they believe that everything that they touch is cursed, but if they reflect back on their life they will see that they were extremely dishonest with others so yes Jehovahs hand is against them. The stupid thing is that they know if they turn from their wicked ways Jehovah will not only stop curing them but will begin to bless them yet they refuse to stop being dishonest.

The longer we live the more we will encounter the wicked snakes in the grass, they are manipulators. They will try to enslave you with tactics like: “ If you love me you will ___ ” or “If you love me you will allow me to ___________ “ or If you are my friends you will ____ “ or “ If you want more hours or a pay raise you will_______” Do not fall for their trap. Do not fall for their scams.
Personally I turn the tables on them and ask them : “ If you love me you will _____” and the you will entails them doing something for me first or respecting my opinion.
If they ask if I do not trust them my reply is that “ Trust is earned not given. What have you done to earn my trust? “
It shuts them up.
When they make exorbitant promises that I know is impossible for them to keep if I do something for them first my reply is that seeing as how they came to me first I will allow them the privilege of exhibiting to everyone their honesty and honour in fulfilling their promise first. They hate me for that but it causes a lot less grief in my life. They are the children of Satan and we are to avoid them at all possible costs.

Can those who walk in the light of Christ be friends of those who walk in the darkness of Satan ?
Of course not.

Because everything they love we Christians hate and everything we Christians hate everything they love. It is even more important not to be unevenly yoked with unbelievers in marriage. That is a recipe for certain disaster and heart ache.
That does not mean we cannot work with them and be respectful towards them but we are to avoid friendships with them as their destructive manner and disposition will slowly destroy our divine manner and disposition. It will start out slowly without you even noticing it like a small patch of rust on a vehicle. But, just as the rust will slowly destroy the vehicle if not eradicated immediately so too will the uncircumcised of heart destroy our heart towards Christ slowly but surely un-noticed until it is too late for the foolish ones that play with the devils fire.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Pryyand ( God is my friend ) for blessing me with Your Divine Heavenly and Your guidance towards those who are walking in the light. I know in today’s world of greed, corruption and self centeredness it is difficult to obey this command but it is the only way.
Everybody else cheats on exams why can’t you?
Well, maybe because when the graduate and try to get a contract the contractor will see you do not have the understanding or skill to perform your duties. Everybody else steals at work why can’t I? Well, maybe you will be the one that gets caught. Not only will you be dismissed but good luck on getting a decent job with theft from the company on your record and maybe a criminal record as well.
Why should I give to the food bank or animal shelter?
It is more important that I enjoy my coffee at a gourmet shop that overcharges so I can look good to others. There will come a time when you need help and no one will help you. Don’t fool yourself, it happens all the time.
On the other hand, there have been many times when I needed help and someone in an unusual way always comes to help me. There have been numerous times someone is lost and I guide them right to where they are looking to go. Then, there are so many numerous times I have experienced the same kindness reciprocated to me.
There is an old saying: what goes around, comes around.
Oh how hard the arrogant fall and what shame it is to them when it happens. I have seen so many puffed up arrogant swine be brought down into the gutter when they think everybody below them lives. What a mockery they are to everyone. Now they very people they snubbed are the ones that are their neighbours.
On the other hand, I have seen those who are humble before God and they always live a blessed life all their years.

Have you ever gotten into the bad crowd because it looked like they were so cool?
I did.
When I was a teenager in the seventies I got in with the “hippies”. I thought the lifestyle of no rules and free living was cool. After a couple of months I stopped reading my Bible, stopped praying and slowly changed. One day I took stock of my life and saw it was empty and without love or cause.
It was rough but after a year I was completely free from that lifestyle and began reading my Bible and praying again. Slowly my relationship with our Beloved took on a deeper meaning and joy.
The same goes for free sex or gambling or drinking or any other worldly bad habits.
Do not be deceived.
It may look like fun to begin with but will only lead you into a living hell.
After many decades I retuned to my hometown. Sometimes I would meet these “hippies” . Even though we are the same age they look like they are over a hundred. Their health is shot and their lives wasted, even they themselves admit this.
Prayer: Please Jehovah Rohi ( God our Sheppard) guide me along the path of righteousness so that Your blessing of love and purpose will follow me all the way t Your Heavenly home. I humbly request this in the name of He who only walked the walk You had prepared for Him while He was with us here on earth Jesus Christ. Amen.
