Is a Slave.

 

Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin John 8:34 New King James Version                                                              

With out Christ we are all slaves.

Some people today call this sin which enslaves us genetics. I believe that is true and if you trace your family history it will prove it. I see traces of my old bad dispositions in three previous generations and some previous addictions can be traced back many generations.

That does not excuse the sin.

If you have cancer you can go for treatment to kill it and eradicate it from your body. If you do not, it will grow until it ultimately kills you in a slow agonizing death.

It is the same with sin, it starts out small but if not given immediate treatment it will slowly kill your physical life and condemn you to an eternal hell. It only gets worse with time.

I have seen it destroy many who I grew up with in their later years.

There is only one cure for habitual sin and that is in the power of Christ. I knew my addiction almost killed me until I completely surrendered it to Jesus.

Yes you can still be a Christian and have this sin because you have not reached the end of your rope to surrender it to Jesus. For me it took two decades to reach that point. We all have a tendency to believe we are weak if we cannot handle it ourselves which is a great lie from Satan.

The truth is that we need the complete surrender of our sin to Christ to be set free from it.

It Starts Off Being Fun.

I have met so many in my younger years who only lived for themselves and their pleasures. Now they are old and in most cases crippled. Because they did not care about their children now that they need help and their children are adults the children do not care about them. They live in seniors homes where every day is a living hell and they cry to die. They only lived for themselves and now only have themselves.                  

It is wise to flee when tempted, a fool is one who stays. Those who toy with evil learn it does not pay. D Dehaun  

I have seen so many in my younger days sing the praise of sex, drugs and rock and roll. Now their minds and bodies are destroyed. They live in decrepit old buildings with no one to care for them or about them. They laughed at me because I refused to join them in their merry making. They are not laughing now.

I do not laugh at them. Indeed when I see them I want to cry because I think of what a wasted live they have lived and what a hellish one they are living now.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Mephalti (Lord is my Deliverer) for delivering me from the evil temptations that slyly attempt to entice me away from our divine relationship and into the cruel slavery of sin, especially when I was young and naive. Whose Knees Have You Strengthened?

Your words have upheld him who has stumbled. You have strengthened the feeble knees. Job 4:4 New King James Version                  

We all stumble in our walk towards Heaven.                                                      

That is when we need good Christian mentors to come along side of us and pick us up and guide us back onto Heavens road.                             

For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. John 13:15 New King James Version                                                         

All of us who have walked the Christian road long enough can remember fondly mentors who have come along side of us and gently corrected us when we went astray.                                                                                     

As well, we can remember good Christian mentors that have come along and strengthened us when we were weak.                                                       

As they have set an example to us so too must we do unto others whenever the opportunity arises.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Tsori (The Lord is my Strength) for blessing me with mentors that strengthened me when I was weak and stumbling. Please bless me with the insight and wisdom to gently, lovingly come beside any and all of my brothers and sisters to gently strengthen them in their moment of weakness. They Have Increased.

Lord, how they have increased who trouble me! Many are they who rise up against me.

When we are Christians there is no shortage of tormentors who love to intentionally antagonize us. They are constant thorns in our sides serving their god, Satan. They laugh and foolishly believe they are getting away with it. For a while it seems as if they are but then Jehovah strikes suddenly and terribly. I have seen it numerous times. When we go to bed and pray to our Beloved about the unwarranted affliction our persecutors are throwing our way He not only hears us but blesses us with peace and a good nights sleep (which antagonizer   rarely experience). This is what always happens to me.

Be not afraid of them for they are this way because they are living a miserable life and want to drag everybody they can into that miserable lifestyle with them.

I pray for them and inform them of such. That torments them. I do not do it to torment them but to reconcile with them if possible (and most times it is not because of their disposition). They end up leaving me alone.

Anyone Who Rejects This Instruction.

For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 4:7-8 New King James Version                                                                                                                                 

Be forewarned all you politically correct, those that preach the false gospels. You are not rejecting the teaching of man when you reject the teaching in the Bible, you are rejecting Jehovahs guide book to life (because that is what the Bible is).                                                                                               

You politically correct may laugh at a make believe god in the sky but you will pay for it, if not in this life than in the final judgment.                                                                                                                                

The same is true for those that preach anti-Christ instead of Christ centered gospel. That includes those that preach the prosperity gospel, the lies that homosexuality is okay with Jehovah, that there is no difference between muslims and Christianity, that try to make animals equal to man (have you seen nature programs that spew lies that make animals appear smarter than a man, I have. That is a blatant lie and insult).

Not My Neighbour.

When I was a teenager it drove me crazy with everyone telling how to live my life with each being different from the other. I could not please everybody so I pleased nobody, especially myself. To say I was miserable was an understatement. I was confused and frustrated to the max each and every day.                                                              

When faithfully obeying the Holy Spirits leading I slowly learned that Jehovah had a plan for my life and that He had a purpose for me.         

Jesus does not care if you are rich or poor, a sports athlete or permanently crippled in a wheelchair, whether you are handsome or bland, what colour you are or what country you come from.                   What he cares about it that you are faithful and obedient to His calling in your life. And, He does have a calling for each and every one of us, His servants.                                                                                                      

To be in reverent fear means to be respectful.                                              

As Jesus is our King so too are we His servants. We are to be respectful and obedient to our King and in our service to our King.                           

It is to Him and Him alone that we owe allegiance to and not any country or relative.

It is Not a Fact.

Something is considered scientifically true only if it can be repeatedly verified under laboratory conditions.

 

The claim that life sprang up on its own cannot pass this test.

That is why evolution is only a theory.

It is not a fact.

So the next time you have a conversation with an evolutionist about evolution ask them where is your proof?

Does Not Cut It.

 

First be reconciled to your brother. Matthew 5:24 New King James Version                                                                                                                        

Do you understand what reconciliation is?                                                      

Yes reconciliation is forgiving the offender but there is also the other side of the coin.

                                                                                                         

The offender must admit what they did, admit it was wrong, apologize for it and to stop doing it.                                                                                 

Each of these is important.                                                                               

To just say I am sorry does not cut it.                                                       

Sorry for what? 

                                                                                               

Sorry for what you did is accepting responsibility for your actions. Admitting it was wrong is taking maturity in accepting your actions were incorrect.                                                                                              

Apologizing for it is admitting you accept you have harmed an innocent party.                                                                                                           

To stop doing it means the relationship is important enough for you to take preventative action to ensure the offense does not reoccur.

It is Impossible to Please God.

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6 New International Version

When we are babes in the Christian faith it is only natural to have limited faith in Jehovah, we do not have that much experience with Him.

As we progress in our relationship with Him we mature in our attitude and behavior. This is done through the Holy Spirits guidance.

However there is one aspect which is our sole responsibility and that is faith. The longer we walk with Christ the more we see His divine power and blessings in our lives. This should strengthen our faith in Him.  If in spite of that we do not grow stronger in our faith that is an insult to Jehovah.

Do not be like the ancient Israelites who were nothing more than whine puppies for forty years. Even though they had numerous times witnessed Jehovahs provision and protection they still lacked faith when it counted.

I know there are times when my faith is lacking and I cry out unto my Beloved for forgiveness and to bless me with strength. He always obliges.

The physical rewards we are blessed with are not to be our prime concern but rather the spiritual ones are. If you are only concerned with worldly desires being fulfilled by Jehovah you are not mature in your walk. Because Jehovah is spirit our rewards are a deeper understanding of Him, a deeper respect for Him, a deeper obedience unto Him, a deeper love for Him and a deeper desire to grow ever deeper into Jehovahs sphere of love. These are spiritual and far surpass anything in the physical.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Shammah (The Lord is Present) for blessing me with Your continuous presence.

 

Thank you for blessing me with this revelation so as to build my faith into a strong tower to protect me when the storms of life come crashing around me.

Pick and Choose to Enslave.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16 New King James Version                                                                                                        

Notice the important word here is ALL.                                                     

Sadly in todays society many Christians choose to pick and choose which Bible verses to use so as to not offend anyone.                                                  

So for example they teach that Jesus loves us but do not teach that there are requirements to enter the Pearly Gates. They teach that as long as we accept Jesus as our savior we will all get to Heaven and it does not matter how you conduct yourself here on earth.                               

Not only is that wrong but it is satanic.

Then there are the cults that pick and choose to enslave their members. I can think of one in particular that teaches that a woman is to be in subjection to man but does not teach that man is to treat the woman as he wants to be treated. They teach this so the woman is to be completely under the mans control.                                                                 

Not only is that wrong but it is satanic.                                                                  

In order to truly teach we must teach it all.
