For Our Loved Ones

Everyone tried to touch him, because healing power went out from him, and he healed everyone. Luke 6:19 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Oh Father, it is so frustrating to watch our elderly loved ones condemn themselves to constant injury because they are are stubborn and stupid (which is, may I add, selfish).

Now that they are old and their bodies frail their injuries are so much more serious when they commit these offences against their bodies. It causes untold pain and discomfort to them and makes my caring for them even more demanding.

Please send the Holy Spirit to sternly warn them to prevent these incidents from constantly recurring.

I know a certain woman that is forbidden from eating certain foods. Some of these she used to love to eat. When ever she attempts to eat one of them she is warned it will make her sick. She stubbornly refuses to listen. In no more than one minute after taking her first bite, she is puking her eye balls out.

Sadly I see incident like this with almost all seniors I have come in contact with- unless, they are living in seniors homes.

As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his foolishness. Proverbs 26:11 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Most seniors I have met are the most foolish folks I have ever encountered. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Please Jehovah YAHWEH Ropheka (God our healer Jeremiah 30:17 ) my Love, heal those in my care of their stubbornness and stupidity which only brings pain and grief to not only themselves but also to those who love them and are caring for them.

I humbly request this in the name of He who healed the impossible illnesses, Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love fill your heart today and every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

I’m Giving it All Away.

Give burden to Jesus

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?Matthew 6:25-27 The Holy Bible, New Living Translation

This is for the worry worts.

You know they type, if there isn’t a crisis in their life, they will make one.

Why do you waste your time, effort and health on such frivolous things?

Not me, I give it all away.

Give it all away to Jesus that is. If you claim to be a Christian that is what you are supposed to do. Give all your troubles to Jehovah. Believe in Him. Believe He will soothe all your frets and provide a solution to you.

After all He took care of an entire nation, feeding them and caring for them, for forty years in the dessert, we are of course talking about the Israelite’s in the Exodus. And, they numbered over two million. If He can do that, what is your problem compared to that.

Worry is an insult to Jehovah. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Pray a sincere prayer and read your Bible.

Sometimes you may have to wait for your solution. How long did Abraham wait for the birth of Isaac. You cannot rush God; He works on His time, not yours.

Another thing, God is all wise. His answer may not be what you want, but is always in your best interest. He knows much more than you.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him Romans 8:28 The Holy Bible, New Living Translation.

So, when you finally receive your answer, don’t sit on your hands, take action. It is a partnership. He will supply the solution to your problem and the tools necessary to resolve the situation. BUT, YOU must take the action needed for resolution. It is teamwork.

And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us.”
2 Corinthians 1:10 The Holy Bible, New Living Translation

So, what are you waiting for?

Do it now. Open up your heart and pour all your worry upon Him. He is waiting to hear from you.

You have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling Psalms 116:8 The Holy Bible, New Living Translation

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38 39 The Holy Bible, New Living Translation

I have confidence in the only confident thing in this world: That the Holy Spirit is right by my side through it all. Both, the good times and the bad. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Here I am my beloved Jehovah Hossanha (God our maker). Mold me into the vessel You wish me to be, in Your own time and manner. I trust You completely to guide me and know You walk with me in good times and bad. In the name of Him who gave completely to You and for us Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.

May your house be filled with joy in the morning and sweet dreams at night. May it be a home where love has come to live. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Only if You Let It.

calms-the-storms

THOU wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee. Holy Bible , American Standard Version

I am a caregiver for my elderly mother. She is extremely stubborn and independent. Because of health reasons she has lost a lot of her independence. This causes a lot of friction between us. Many times I feel like I am going to explode and I have to get away from her. The only thing to calm me down is a cigarette. As well she is stubborn and refuses to listen to listen to anyone. She is right and the whole world is wrong (even though she does not know what she is talking about). Then when things go south she always blames everyone but herself. I go almost a month without smoking and then she gets into one of her moods and look out. Then I need a cigarette and we do not talk with each other for a few days.

This has been going on for three years. Each time I prayed for wisdom on how to handle her and then read an article on how a man was stressed out and was told that the reason for his stress was because only if you let it stress you out it will.

Now that sounds reasonable but then how do you handle the situation?

Later while reading the Bible this verse suck out to me: Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee. Holy Bible , American Standard Version

It makes perfect sense.

When stress comes I remove myself from the situation and allow it to drive me to my knees where I belong in prayer.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Machsi – Lord my Refuge for blessing me with the privilege of entering into Your holy sanctuary where You bless me with peace, healing, comfort and fortitude to carry on in my duties (duty is an act of love) to You and my mother. I praise You in the name of the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Cleavet After a year and a half mom has now settled down and our relationship has improved tremendously. She has even begun to go to church again for the first time in about forty years. The lord has taught me how to deal with stress. Mom has not smoked in about a year and I rarely smoke now (I am confident one day my Lord will permanently smash this chain of addiction)

GENTLE STREAM WINDING THROUGH FOREST

Prayers Answered.

These articles are dedicated to the wonderful and amazing way Jehovah Jireh (the Lord our provider) answers prayers. It is a simple journal that I would like to use as an example for others to list their sincere prayer requests and then how our Beloved answers them.

It will amaze you and create a heart of gratitude and respect for our gracious Jehovah Heseh (Our God of love).

The older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things. Titus 2:3New King James Version

I prayed for my precious little Japanese sister to be blessed with a good mentor to help her through her difficult times of being recently unemployed.

When she attended her friends church the pastor invited her to her apartment for a meal (in Asia being asked to share a meal is very important and is only for close family and friends so this was unexpected). During the meal my Japanese little sister and the pastor talked for hours and the Korean pastor gave her wise advice and great encouragement.

It is our Christian duty to be mentors to those who are not as mature in the walk with Christ. We are to lead by example and to help those struggling overcome their difficulties.

Who are you mentoring?

Editors note: In Asia when there is a large age difference the older is called grandfather or grandmother. If the age difference is not large they are called uncle or auntie. If the age difference is close it is big brother or big sister.

My precious little Christian sister is close to my age but younger so I address her as little sister while she addresses me as big brother.

Wouldn’t it be nice if that is the way we in the west addressed each other?

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rohi (God is our Sheppard) for guiding a younger sheep to an older,  sheep in Your precious flock to guide her, encourage her and strengthen her. I extol You in the name of the most admirable Sheppard of all Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus sweet love bless you today and every day

She is so Stubborn

THE THREE PARTS OF PRAYER

I need a pick me up today.

I am taking care of an elderly mother who is very difficult because she is extremly stubborn. She insists on doing things she knows she shouldn’t do (or els she gets hurt) and refuses to do things she knows she should be doing.

Would you please pray for me.

I am ready to leave this place and if I do she will have to go inot a seniors home.

I have given up me career to come home to care for her. I do not care that I have no money because I know Jesus will provide.

Thank you
