We are to be charitable while doing so with wisdom.
There are too many bleeding hearts out there that want you to give money to help those who refuse to help themselves.
How many in say Africa breed like flies on dung piles and then cry to those in the western world to give them money. If they cannot support their children do not have them. Why should we support a destructive lifestyle? When I was doing missionary work in Central America they kept on telling me I should be married and have lots of children so that when I get old the children will support me. When I asked them how much they helped their parents they looked at me in shock and informed me they had no money to help their parents. Then they told me because I was rich (which I was not) that I owed them and had to give them money.
It is the same with these TV evangelists who are always crying for money. I used to listen to a few on the internet. Before the show they cry that they need money. Then, at the end they are talking about how you will have a great time with them on some cruise. Excuse me but if they can afford to go on cruises why do they need my money. I say they should publicly reveal their wages if they publicly ask for money.
For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” 2 Thessalonians 3:10 Holy Bible New International Version
Do not give to the lazy. There are too many welfare bums that are capable of working but are too lazy to do so and expect the hard working of society to support their laziness. How many are also involved in drugs and alcohol? Serving as a volunteer in soup kitchens I saw a lot of this.

Once we have accepted Jesus that isn’t the end of it. Going to church once a week isn’t the end of it.
No, brothers and sisters salvation is not a one off encounter. It is a weekly, a daily, an hourly and indeed a moment by moment event. We must surrender all aspects of our lives to Christ in order to maintain our salvation. If we don’t it may happen as slow as molasses or it may be as fast and powerful as an avalanche. One thing is certain though, we WILL, lose our salvation when it is not directed and controlled by Christ. Fear and trembling is referring to awe and respect. We should be in awe of Gods love for us and respect His decisions on what is right for us. Let His thoughts direct every aspect of our lives.
How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Psalm 139:17, Holy Bible New International Version

We all have to go through it. We all have to go through the furnace of affliction in order to burn off the dross.
Burning off the dross refers to bad habits and dispositions in our lives that hamper our walk with Christ and growing into the children Jehovah desires us to be. It is not pleasant but on the other side of it we will thank Jehovah for it every day.
I know it was the most painful, difficult and horrible experience I have ever gone through. I also know I am so much better than I was before the time of my life I had to endure it. I thank Jehovah for it every day.
The Holy Spirit does not leave us alone but walks with us through our fiery trial and tribulations.

The only way we will survive it is through the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. That is one problem with so much of todays society today. Parents, grandparents and teachers pound the false belief that we are special and life is easy. Then when the hard times come (and they will) today generation will be completely unprepared for it. Then their suffering will be exasperated all the more because of their unpreparedness.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Chatsahi (The Lord is my Strength) for blessing me with the necessary burning off of the destructive dross in my attitudes and behaviors. One morning as soon as I woke up my head felt like it was going to explode in flames and my finger tips felt like they were going to explode. I knew this was a with drawl symptom of stopping smoking. There was a quite little voice that informed me not to reach for any niccorette gum, lozenges or the patch. I felt Jehovah telling me He was going to beat it.

Now was decision time: 1 I could surrender to the craving and buy a pack. This would mean ultimate defeat.
2 I could trust Jehovah and obey His instructions.
I felt the Lord directing me to a quiet wood lot. Silly me, had the disbelief that it was going to be smack down time like in the phony wrestling some folks waste their time watching on TV. There was a fantasy of the devil pinning me to the mat and then my super hero Jesus climbing into the ring and giving he devil the what for and casing him away. The reality of it was I laid on a mat and was completely encompassed by peace and strength that could only be the gift of the Holy Spirit.
And He said to her,“Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.” Luke 8:48 New King James Version Holy Bible
Whenever the desire hits me I either reach for Rescue Remedy or the Bible.
The Bible and prayer works better.
In order to receive Jehovahs blessing it is a two part sequence. First you have to have firm faith and believe. Sometimes part of having faith is taking the first step.
Second Jehovah will then bless you. Now you may not receive your request coming to fulfillment because it is either ungodly or because it is not what Jehovah has planned for you.
There was once a prayer for revenge because of what was deemed a serious offense against me. That prayer was denied but instead the Lord blessed me years later seeing that what was done was nothing more that an unintentional misunderstanding.
For years I prayed to be blessed with a Godly woman to be my wife and for us to be blessed with children. That has never come to pass. It would have been impossible to serve my Heavenly King if I were married and had children.

Having faith is a lifetime of work. It is not a one time deal.
Each time your faith is rewarded your faith will grow but needs to continue to grow until we are walking the streets of Heaven.

As Christians we need to emulate our role model Jesus.
Think of how patient Jesus was with His disciples. He never belittled them when they did not get it but patiently explained it to them. We need the same disposition with others in our daily conversations. Jesus’ kindness knew no boundaries. Think of how He went out of His way to heal Darious’ daughter or how He talked with the woman at the well. We need to be more kind in this world. Try to do one act of kindness a day and write down what it was and how you it affected the soul you were kind with as well how it made you feel. See how much it changes your life. Jesus did not envy the rich but accepted them as individuals. Just because someone has more money or is better at sports than you or any other number of things does not mean you have to envy them. Jehovah gave each of us our own distinctive skills and be grateful for them. Jesus was a member of the Godhead yet He did not brag about it and talk down to others. When you are blessed with a certain skill do not lord it over others. You are no where near as good as Jesus. Jesus was never a tongue wagger. He did not gossip about anyone and neither should you. Do not say anything about anyone behind their back that you would not say to their face. Jesus never cared about His own will but that of His Heavenly Father and those around Him. When you only care about yourself you only end up with yourself. The self seeking end up living lonely miserable lives. Jesus took a lot of rubbish from the Scribes and Pharisee’s yet did not lose His temper. I think we all need help in not losing our temper which is a good thing to pray for every morning. If you are easily angered, you are suppressing hurt, bitterness and jealousy in your life and it would be a good idea to get into counseling. If you do not it will slowly eat you until it destroys you and everyone around you. I have seen it and it aint pretty. After Peter repented Jesus never brought it up again how he denied Christ. Neither should you. Now that is not to say you are to forgive and forget. Those who do not learn from the past as dammed to repeat it. That does not indicate that you are to hang it over the offenders head every chance you get but to remember it so that when you see this beginning to happen you know the correct action to take.
Prayer: Please Jehovah Heseh (God is love) bless me with a loving heart that is committed to serving You by serving others. Please bless me with the Holy Spirits help to emulate Your divine example of love Your loving son Jesus Christ. I humbly request this in His loving name. Amen.

Where do you go to find rest in this face paced shallow world.
To find true rest from anxieties of finances I go to Jehovah and He guides me to the comforting and best financial advice there is in the Bible (number one is to never go in debt. Save for it and be patient).
When the stress of relationships weighs me down like a rock around my ankles and thrown into the sea I go to Jehovah and He guides me to verses in the Bible on how to handle difficult relationships (many times the advice is difficult to follow but will lead to a lot less stress, fights and bitterness in life. I know His advice has improved my relationship peace tremendously by teaching me how to avoid or handle the ones who suck the life out of you).
When I encounter health problems I go to Jehovah and He guides me to Bible verses that teach me proper diet and exercise (both mentally and physically). I know when it is time for me to depart from this world I will go to Jehovah and He will guide me to Bible verses that comfort and reassure me He is waiting to guide me home upon my departure from this world.
Where do I go to find Divine rest while enjoying heavenly communion with my Beloved Father?
Why, in Gods Cathedral of course.
And where is this amazing Cathedral?
Any place in nature.
My preferred places are in an isolated beach, my a quiet gentle little rapids or in a forest or laying under the summer stars.
It is when I am in the beauty of His creation that the weight of the world disintegrates to be replaced with Gods amazing peace and love. Joseph- Anthony: Green

For those of us that are old enough to remember do you remember those that in my opinion are destroyer of the family the (womens lib) spewing on how they were on a biological clock and wanted to get pregnant ? Because they relegated men to the trash can they wanted to get pregnant by artificial insemination because they said they did not need a father in the family. Look at the results. Could it be boys raised by feminists are confused as how to be a man because there were none in their family life? Could that be why so many males today are so feminine?
In many Asian countries the mother raises the children and could that by why there is so much homosexuality there and the men are so feminine there?

We need to walk with our children through life not shove them off to babysitters like sports teams or other extra curricular activities. We need to spend time with them not just having fun but teaching them life lessons. Other wise, when they leave the nest they will be completely unprepared for the world out there.
The most important duty of every parent and grandparent is to teach them about Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. To help them become adopted members of a Holy Family.
Prayer: Oh Jehovah Abba (God our Father) please bless those who were raised fatherless to be introduced unto You so that will be blessed to know what a father is. This blessing they will in turn teach their children and may it restore Godly families to our society which so desperately needs it. They began doing construction work in the apartment above where I live in with jackhammers and sledge hammers going all day. This of course means it is impossible to do any writing. I researched on the internet where there is a library nearby. The one found is modern and quiet (for China, these are the noisiest people I have ever met) and there outlets to plug in your computer to work in an air conditioned building. Considering that it gets to a hundred and ten in the apartment with no air conditioning during most of the year this was a blessing
On the first day there while taking a break I felt the Lord moving me to go for a walk on the library grounds. During this walk I was led to a walkway from the library to close to the apartment. This was a blessing because it meant that I did not have to suffer the cattle car experience of the subway every morning nor have to spend money on subway fare. As well, as it takes about an hour to walk there from the apartment it is good exercise and being outside.
When Chinese see a foreigner they always want to trick them into giving them free English lessons. While meditating on this problem the Lord reminded me of a sermon I heard some time in the past. It was how the early Christians were known as the people of The Way. The Way of course being that Jesus is the way.
So if the Chinese try their conniving, I merely instruct them that I am a teacher of “The Way” and ask them if they are interested in learning about Christ. If they say no then I ask them why they are bothering me (You have to be blunt otherwise they will not leave you alone until they get what they want). If they say they are (many Chinese will lie and pretend to be interested just to get free English lessons) then they will pay for the class before the class begins (Chinese will say that they will pay and then at the end of the class not pay. I have ten years experience with these creatures and have learned my lessons the hard way. ) to prove their sincerity and yes it does say in the Bible that teachers are to be paid.

Have you ever asked Jehovah for wisdom?
For me it was going into service for Him.
I wanted to go to Central America because I did missionary work in Mexico and loved it.
Jehovah however had other ideas. He wanted me to go to China. When I first put my resume on the internet after completing a T.E.S.O.L. Course to teach English I fully expected a contract in Central America. The only offers received however were from China. One in particular stood out. I really didn’t want to go to China being afraid of what would happen to a Christian in a communist country. The feeling however was very strong and off I went having faith that this was Jesus’ answer to where He
wanted me to serve Him. I have been all over China for eight years now faithfully serving the Lord. Although it has been difficult I am exceedingly glad that huge leap of faith has been taken. Not many have come to Jesus through my sharing of the Gospel, but even one is important to Jesus.
