It is the Presence Of

Use the correct GPS

There was a woman in Europe that set out on a ninety mile trip to pick up a friend at a train station. She set her GPS for directions to the train station. Three days later and many countries later she stopped a figured out she was lost. When asked why it took so long to figure out she was lost her reply was she was not paying attention. She was paying more attention to the scenery than listening to the GPS.

How about us?

Do we look around and see all the fun the “In crowd” is having and take their advice to join them in their drinking and partying and where do we end up?

With hangovers, empty pockets and in bed with someone we don’t even know.

Could that not lead us to addictions and diseases?

Could that not destroy our lives?

There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. Proverbs 14:12. New International Version

Where as, if we listen and follow to the advice in the Bible we will avoid these problems.

Oh sure we will look like geeks to the in crowd, but in the long run we have a loving relationship with Christ which far out shines anything the in crowd can offer. It may seem crazy to your friends and family but it will be smiled upon by our Heavenly loving wise Father.

The Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things John 14:26 New International Version

Thank you Poppa for blessing me with The Holy Spirit to be my Guidance Councillor. He is the best. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Pryyand (Jesus my friend) for blessing us with the best instruction manual there ever was, is or will be. Please open my eyes to the wisdom to understand and follow its instructions for a rich and fulfilling life. I humbly give thanks for this blessing and ask for this blessing in Your wise name. Amen.

He is Our Refuge City.

Select some towns to be your cities of refuge, to which a person who has killed someone accidentally may flee. They will be places of refuge from the avenger, so that anyone accused of murder may not die before they stand trial before the assembly. Numbers 35-11, 12 New International Version

Just as in the Old Testament times someone who accidently killed someone could and would take sanctuary in a city of refuge.

So too do we have a city of refuge in Christ.

He will protect us from the dangers of the devil and his demons who want to kill our spirit. When they attack us we take refuge in the protection of Christ’s loving strong arms. Oh they may hurt or destroy our body but our spirit will be protected by Jesus.

It is equally important to remain in Jesus’ city because if we do not then we are fair game for the evil ones.

Don’t you think that is why there are so many addicts and murders today?

Because they are not in Christ’s city, they are open to demonic forces that not only destroy them but also many innocent others.

Take shelter in Jehovahs strong arms. It is the safest place to be. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Shammah (God is present) for being the strong undefeatable city we can take sanctuary in to protect us from satan and his minions. Please give me the wisdom and strength to always remain in Your impenetrable fortress. I give thanks and request this in Your strong and mighty name. Amen.

A Good and Perfect Father

God the Father loves us just as much as He loves His Son, Jesus Christ.

Since that is a true statement can we ever have another anxious thought or rebellious attitude toward Him?

Because our heavenly Father loves us with such love as He has for His Son He will not let us want for anything good in His divine will. He will take care of us in the very best possible manner (Psa. 23:1Eph. 1:3). It is absolutely safe to put our trust in a perfect Father.

“Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him. For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust” (Psalm 103:13-14).

Jesus came to reveal the LORD God as a loving and kind Father (John 14:7-9Matt. 11:27).

It is only in the revelation of God by the Lord Jesus Christ that the idea of God the Father is fully developed.

The title “Father” is a distinguishing feature in the New Testament in the teaching of Jesus, especially in the Gospel of John. He reveals Jehovah God as Father. He is not the Father of all men, but only those who come to Him through Jesus Christ. “No one comes to the Father but through Me” (John 14:6).

There is a distinction between God as our Creator and as Father to the believer.

God is a good and perfect Father (1 John 3:1-2John 10:1514:2Eph. 3:14Phil. 2:11).

We have been adopted and placed as His full-grown children in His family. He chose us to be His children; therefore we must allow Him to take care of the responsibilities as a caring Father.

Are we not worth more than many sparrows?

As a loving Father He always takes a greater care of His children (Matt. 6:24-2630-33).

God has revealed Himself as a true Father, full of love and mercy.

Do I respond to Him as His child?

The Father gives His very best to His children (Matt. 7:11Lk. 11:13). He even gives us His kingdom (Lk. 12:28-32). The context like Matthew chapter six speaks of all our needs. Our heavenly Father wants to give far more than we are able to receive.

Since this is true of our Father why should we fear coming to Him boldly and asking?

Why should we fear that He will fail to give us His very best?

If He failed to meet these needs of His children then His very integrity would be at stake. He will protect His Name because it reveals His perfect character. He will always give in such a manner that His Name will be glorified.

Will I do anything to cause others to doubt the integrity and trustworthiness of my heavenly Father?

Our doubting attitudes cast suspicion upon the faithfulness of our God.

Why would we dare libel our heavenly Father when we would never cast any suspicion on our earthly father?

Our responsibility is to trust a loving Father. We go through life as His children acting as if we were left orphans with no Father who cares about us. He is worthy of our confidence and absolute trust.

Have you taken time to acquaint yourself with your heavenly Father?

Do you know the “spirit of adoption” that cries out “Abba, Father”?

How tragic that many children are trapped by a “spirit of bondage.”

Am I willing to trust all my cares to my heavenly Father?

Why should I want to hold on to my fears, anxiety, and selfish cares when He is fully aware of all my most profound needs?

He is ready to meet them in the very best way possible.

One of the great needs we have is for security. The believer in Jesus Christ is eternally secure because there is a divine double grip around the believer (John 10:28-30). Jesus teaches us that no one can pluck us out of His secure hands, and “no one is able to pluck them out of My Father’s hand: I and the Father are one.”

Have you come to know our great God and Savior as your Father?

There are Two Ways Of

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:31-31 New International Version

Remember the old pirate movies where they look through a spyglass.

Is that not the way many people look at conflicts?

Through one lens and that lens is their own opinion. They refuse to listen to anybody else. They speak, you listen. You speak, they don’t listen. It is called selective hearing and is the major problem in conflicts whether it is between parents and children (it is just as important for parents to listen to children as it is for children to listen to parents by the way), husbands and wives, or neighbors.

Instead it is important to look though binoculars to see the big picture.

We need to sit down with pen and paper and listen to what the other person has to say and write it down. While person A is speaking person B listens without interrupting and is writing down what is said. This is then repeated with person B speaking and person A listening.

Next try to look at how and why the other person feels the way they do.

If you cannot solve the problem between yourselves it is important to get someone who does not take sides and you both trust to mediate between you. You both agree to the mediator’s decision and act upon it. It is one thing to agree to it, it is just as important to act on it.

I have met many people that it was like talking to a wall. They pretended not to hear what I was saying because they didn’t care.

What I have learned is to inform them when they are just as willing to listen as they are to talk, we can continue. Then walk away. I do not give in to them no matter how much they pout like little babies, threaten and whine. Many times that means distancing myself from them. It has cost me many friendships but I am better off without them because they were very self centered and greedy.

Now of course it is different if you are married or it is parents and children living in the same place.

When I was a teacher and a student was naughty I did not scream and yell at them. I would sit them down and talk with them. They knew what they did was wrong. Just be patient with them. Once they admit what they did was wrong then we talk about how they can make it right. After that is settled we work on them making it right. If they were naughty to another student they would apologize to them in class. When they would have a difficult time doing this, teacher was right there softly encouraging them, informing them it was the right thing to do and I know you can do it. Then I would encourage the hurt child to forgive. Teacher would then give them big huggies and inform them he is proud of them. They love and respect teachers like that. I will tell you, the children in my classes were very well behaved. That is why I always got the worst classes. But, in two months there was a complete change.

So too is it necessary for us to do this with each other.

The Holy Spirit is the best mediator. He will show you how to heal a relationship and when to walk away. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Please Jehovah Jireh (The Lord our provider) please provide me to have both eyes open to how to heal any broken relationship in my life. I ask in the name of He who has taught me to have eyes to see Jesus Christ. Amen.

A Good Clear Conscience

One of the greatest blessings for the born again Christian is the deep sense of peace with God (Phil. 4:79Col. 3:15John 14:27).

The apostle Paul wrote, “I am telling the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience bearing joint-testimony with me in the Holy Spirit . . .” (Romans 9:1).

Paul takes a triple oath here because of deep convictions regarding the salvation of the Jewish people. He makes a strong, positive affirmation in Christ, a negative statement that he is not lying, and the appeal to his conscience as a co-witness “in the Holy Spirit.” Paul looked to Christ and rejoiced; he looked at the Jewish people lost in sin and wept. Paul was willing to go to hell for the sake of his lost Jewish friends.

The conscience is that faculty of man that evaluates our actions, along with our thoughts that either accuse or excuse us of sin. Our conscience is an important part of human nature the world over. It is not an absolutely trustworthy indicator of what is right and wrong. We can have a “good” conscience (Acts 23:1); 1 Tim. 1:519), a “clear” conscience (Acts 24:161 Tim. 3:92 Tim. 1:3Heb. 13:18), or a “guilty” conscience (Heb. 10:22), a “corrupted” conscience (Titus 1:15), a “weak” conscience (1 Cor. 8:71012), or a “seared” conscience (1 Tim. 4:2).

The marvelous thing about the gospel is that “the blood of Christ” cleanses the conscience. The writer of Hebrews says, “How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” (Heb.  9:14).

The conscience is the remains of God’s image in man after the fall of Adam. The universal fact of this inner voice is important. It is a divine law. Because we are sinners obedience to the voice of conscience must always be tested with an acceptance of the revealed will of God in the Scriptures (John 8:7-9Rom. 2:15-169:1Titus 1:13-15).

The apostle Paul warned, “Nothing is wholesome to those who are themselves unwholesome and who have no faith in God—their very minds and consciences are diseased” (Tit. 1:15, Phillips). The conscience is defiled because the light from both it and the Holy Spirit are refused.

The conscience in the born again believer is restored to its high position as the Christian studies and meditates on God’s revealed will in the Bible. For the mature Christian the witness of the conscience will be met by the witness of the Holy Spirit as to what pleases God (Rom. 9:1). We should seek to continually have “a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men” (Acts 24:16).

May the Holy Spirit cleanse the deepest recesses of our hearts by the infinite purification that God alone can accomplish by means of the blood of Jesus Christ. May He make us sensitive to the slightest whisper of His Holy Spirit. His Spirit gives us a sense of disquiet when we are tempted. He makes us hate anything that will separate us from abiding fellowship with God.

To maintain a good, clear conscience that is sensitive to the Spirit of God we must confess every sin that we are conscious of and walk in the light of God’s Word. The Holy Spirit always uses God’s Word to reveal sin to us. When the conscience reproves listen to it, and confess the sin to God, claim His forgiveness based on the atoning death of Christ. The blood of Jesus cleanses us of all sin. Pray that the witness of your conscience and the witness of the Holy Spirit and the abiding presence of being “in Christ” becomes one. Hold “to the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience” (1 Tim. 3:9).

I Will Call to The

I will call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I will be saved from my enemies. Psalms 18:3 The Holy Bible The New Century Version

There has been numerous times when I thought my enemies would be victorious over me and indeed a few times when I thought they were going to kill me.

I was standing up for what was right and or was protecting the innocent.

They were standing there laughing at me. They had pistols and knives.

I had angels.

Suddenly they dropped their weapons and ran screaming away terrorized.

Those that saw it informed me there were huge angels standing behind me and they did not look happy.

This happened to me once in Mexico and once in China.

I thought they were on drugs or were drunk but realize now that Jesus did indeed send angels to protect me.

For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. Psalm 91:11 The Holy Bible The New Living Version

Then there was the schemers and scammers who plan nasty surprises for me where they are sure I would crash and burn.

The Holy Spirit guided me to behave and speak in a certain manner and victory was mine.

The Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what needs to be said. Luke 12:12 The Holy Bible The New Living Version

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ELOHIM YAKOL (God, the Most Able 2 Corinthians 9:8 ) for blessing me with being able to send angles to protect me from danger and win my battles for me. Thank you for sending The Holy Spirit to inspire me with the proper words to say and behaviour to conduct myself in to shut the wicked down when they scheme against me. I praise You in the name of my victorious King, Jesus Christ. Amen
