I Was Pressured Greatly To

Being a bit of an old geezer, I have seen oh so many fads come and go.

There was the hippy generation, the disco generation, the punk generation, and I have no idea what the generations from the nine teen nineties are called.

During one of them I was pressured greatly to conform to their lifestyle. I was bullied and laughed at a lot because of my refusal to join in the fun times.

It is interesting to see them now. They realize that lifestyle was meaningless.

Reflecting back on my walk with Christ in that time there are moments of pure ecstasy, there were many moments of suffering which brought me ever closer into Christ’s loving arm and engaged my trust in Him my adoration in Him, my love for Him and my dedication in service unto Him. This was good and pleasing unto my cherished Father in Heaven, King in Heaven and amazing tutor ( The Holy Spirit ) .

Mind you, this transformation will continue even in our Heavenly Home so do not think you are a finished product.

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Prayer: Oh my Beloved Jehovah Bara (The Lord Creator Isaiah 40:28 ) thank you for Your patient transformation of this rough piece of clay into the beautiful creation You intend for me to be. I look forward to experiencing what the finished product will be in Heaven. I extol Thee in the name of He who took twelve rag tag hilly billy boys from Galilee into a fire that set the world aflame two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ. Amen.

He is the Best Heavenly Loving Poppa.

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

There has been so many times in my life when I was so discouraged there was no peace to be found anywhere. UNTIL, I got down on my knees and poured my heart out to our Heavenly Poppa. He sent the Holy Spirit to me and was blessed with an all encompassing peace which can only come from God.

There has been so many times in my life where it was one failure after another or , one disaster after another. It felt as if a huge boulder was being dragged around with me pulling it. Then, I got down on my knees and poured my heart out to our Beloved Heavenly Poppa. He sent The Holy Spirit to not only encourage me but to follow Him . Obedience brought success. Not instantly and most times not without a lot of pain but with great rejoicing at the success when completed.

Following the Holy Spirit’s guidance always brings to success. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

There has been so many times when it felt as if I was the only one on the planet, feeling extremely depressed. Then, I poured out my heart to our Heavenly, Beloved Poppa. He softly gently so spoke to me with reassuring words that affirmed He would never leave me nor forsake me because He loves me so much. An overwhelming all encompassing experience of peace and love filled every molecule in my body. No matter the situation, pour it out completely at Jehovahs loving feet. He loves you so much He cannot but help offer you the best remedy for whatever ails you. He is the best Heavenly loving Poppa. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

Prayer: With the deepest respect, awe, admiration and love I thank you Jehovah Abba (God our Father 1 John 3:1 ) for blessing me into Your holy family. The most precious treasure in my life is the loving relationship shared between You, Jesus and The Holy Spirit and me.

The Best Investment.

Jesus took time out of His busy day to show love to children, should we not imitate Him every day?

How much quality time do you spend with your children?

At meal time (irregardless of whether it is breakfast or dinner) do you sit around the table and talk, cementing your bonds, or do you all sit there with you mugs pasted in front of the idiot box (TV)?

Do you help them with their homework, class projects or go to parent teacher meeting with them?

Do you tuck them into bed and read them bedtime stories them kiss them good night and tell them you love them (that was my personal favorite)?

On the weekend do you do things with them like go to the park or watch a family movie and then talk about it?

You are the potter, they are the mold, what type of vessel are you creating?

Children learn more by watching then listening. What do they see when they see you?

The same goes for teachers.

At the beginning of each semester I would tell my classes: “I am your teacher. I will work hard for you to be the best teacher for you. You will work hard for me because you love me.” Then I proceeded to prove it. At first they thought I was nuts. After about a month, they were my babies and they knew it. They loved their teacher because they saw their teacher loved them (Kinda like Jesus taught me. We love Him because He loved us first.). I believe what I taught them about love will stay with them all of their lives.

Children are Gods gift to you, nurture them properly like you would a garden for you are sowing the seeds of the future. Joseph- Anthony: Green

The same goes for those who are new children in the family of Jehovah. You are to love them as if they were your own children and dedicate yourself to their well being and maturity in Christ as you would your own children.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Emet (God of truth) for blessing me with all the marvelous teachers You have sent my way. Thank you for guiding me to emulate the greatest Teacher, Jesus. May I inspire all those You bring to me to become loving obedient children of Yours so as to enrich Your treasure in Heaven (to be surrounded by even more loving children of Yours). I meekly ask of this in the name of the greatest Teacher Jesus Christ. Amen

How do You Take Care Of ?

Those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. —1 Corinthians 12:22 New Living Translation.

Now if we are a family of Christ as Jehovah as our Father then there are big brothers and sisters and little brothers and sisters. The big brothers and sisters are the ones that have a deep understanding and experience with God. Their walk with God is strong. The babies are the new members of our family or the ones through no fault of their own are weak.

The big brothers and sisters should not be critical or haughty of the babies. They should nurture them, encourage them and be respectful towards them.   

The more mature Christian is to be loving, patient, encouraging, and mentoring to those who are not as far along the walk to Heaven as themselves. Joseph a son of Jehovah

The babies should listen to and obey their big brothers and sisters. When they speak to them with love about areas in their life that needs to be corrected they should not be insulted or hurt by the actions.

If we all behaved like this in the churches the churches would not decrease. Many churches are losing members because of the mean spiritedness of other members. Those hypocritical members are judgmental and condescending to the babies in the family. The babies are hurt and give the middle finger to the church and walk away. Indeed how many new members of the family walk away from Jesus because of this? I tell you true, their blood will be on the guiltiest hands (yes blood. Because they walk away from Jesus because of you, you are the reason they are going to hell.).

How do you think that makes Jesus feel?

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians 6:10 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Heseh (God is love) for lovingly blessing me with the Holy Spirit to teach me and help me to be the child You desire me to be. Please bless me to emulate Him to come along side those who are not as mature in their walk with You as I am (that does not mean childish but rather inexperienced) and to lovingly guide them to a deeper loving, obedient relationship with You. Thank you for the big brothers and sisters whom You have sent to mentor me and may I emulate them as well. I sincerely request this in the name of the greatest Teacher Jesus Christ. Amen

One of the Most Important Things

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing. Psalm 143:10 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation.

One of the most important things learned in life is that our greatest lessons are learned from our failures.

Just look up any invention and find out how many times the inventor failed before finally having success.

When we mess up we fess up and Jehovah forgives us, picks us up and tells us okay, you messed up, now learn your lesson and continue on towards you maturity in your walk towards Heaven.

If you have not learned your lesson, do not worry, Jehovah will allow it to be repeated until it is learned.

I believe failure is the greatest tool the Holy Spirit uses to teach us. Joseph a son of Jehovah

The more we learn from our failures and how the Holy Spirit guides us to success from them them more we become firmly established upon the path to Heaven the Holy Spirit is guiding us on. Joseph a son of Jehovah

That is one of the greatest crimes parents and teachers commit with children. They do not let them learn from their failures.

Prayer:Thank you Holy Spirit Rabbi (God our Teacher) for blessing me with Your wise, powerful and effective manner of teaching me. May it always help to evolve my relationship with my loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah loving big brother Jesus and You the most amazing Teacher ever closer and stronger.                                                                                                                 I give thanks and humbly ask of these blessings in the name of the best Teacher Jesus Christ. When We Run Into Problems

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. Romans 5:3-5 The Holy Bible New Living Translation

I do not know about you but I do not exactly dance for joy and sing praises unto Jehovah whenever problems and troubles come into my life.

At first I used to ask why it was happening to me like a whining little child (come on we all do ).

Then I would be asking what the Holy Spirit was trying to teach me through these events.

Now, I understand that even though bad things happen to good folks for no reason every problem and trouble can be used to fortify some part of our character (which most time either I though I was strong in them or did not realize how weak I was in them).

Jehovah has a purpose for every problem. He uses them to mature your character and to develop Your relationship with Him ever stronger. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Tsori ( Lord my Strength ) Psalm 19:14 for blessing me with problems and troubles to help strengthen my character to become ever more of the holy child You desire me to be. I exalt You in the name of my strongest savior Jesus Christ. Amen

Breakdown of Society.

 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4 Holy Bible, New King James Version

Now that does not mean you are to remain in an abusive relationship.

How many times have we reflected on our past and wish we could change it?

When you are a parent you can pass these mistakes as well as your triumphs onto your children to help guide them through life.

“The tasks connected with the home are the fundamental tasks of humanity.” Theodore Roosevelt

For those of us that are old enough to remember do you remember those that in my opinion are destroyer of the family the  (womens lib) spewing on how they were on a biological clock and wanted to get pregnant ? Because they relegated men to the trash can they wanted to get pregnant by artificial insemination because they said they did not need a father in the family. Look at the results. Could it be boys raised by feminists are confused as how to be a man because there were none in their family life? Could that be why so many males today are so feminine?

In many Asian countries the mother raises the children and could that by why there is so much homosexuality there and the men are so feminine there?

“There is only one way to bring up a child in the way he should go and that is to travel that way yourself.” Abraham Lincoln

We need to walk with our children through life not shove them off to babysitters like sports teams or other extra curricular activities. We need to spend time with them not just having fun but teaching them life lessons. Other wise, when they leave the nest they will be completely unprepared for the world out there.

The most important duty of every parent and grandparent is to teach them about Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. To help them become adopted members of a Holy Family.

Prayer: Oh Jehovah Abba (God our Father) please bless those who were raised fatherless to be introduced unto You so that will be blessed to know what a father is. This blessing they will in turn teach their children and may it restore Godly families to our society which so desperately needs it. I humbly request this in the name of my adored bib brother Jesus Christ. Amen.

God has Prepared.

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 New King James Version                                                     

 There was a TV ad that talked about the life we prepare for ourselves when we are young, through our adult years and our happily ever after retirement.                                                                                                        

It brought about a huge chuckle from me.                                                       

Everything I dreamed of in my life when I was young never came true. On the flip of the coin there were so many things I swore I would never do that I have done in my life.

Most times it took traumatic events to force me where Jehovah wanted me to go and my mantra was: “Lord why are you doing this to me, I do not want to go there?”                                                                          

Once there He guided me to what He the service prepared for me to do for Him and the remolding of this lumpy clay.                                                                                    

In retrospect when looking back it is possible to see Jehovah wanted me to go there and do those things so not only would I serve Him there but He was molding me and getting me prepared for the next step He has prepared for me to serve Him and for Him to continue His molding of me. (which I always whined about and fought because I did not want to go there).

After thirty years of this it amazes me what my Beloved has done in my life and through my life.

He is still molding me and although I do not know the next service unto Him that He has prepared for me is I am confident in His guidance. During this process I know it will bring me ever closer unto Him in love, respect and admiration.

The service He has prepared for you may be big or small but it is all important unto Him and He has a special job waiting just for you.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Helech ‘Olam (The Lord our King Forever) for blessing me with a Devine career that You have made for this humble child to serve You with loving devotion. I praise You in the name of He who served you all the way to a horribly excruciatingly painful death on the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.

Here is the proof.

But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. Romans 8:9 New King James Version

For those of you who doubt if the Holy Spirit dwells within the Christian here is the proof. The Spirit of God dwells in you.  That is not a maybe but a direct promise and Jehovah always fulfills His promises.

 

Therefore all Christians have the Holy Spirit with in us.

What does the Spirit do in our lives?

He conquers our addictions which we are too weak to defend ourselves from.

For me it was stubbornness.

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. Romans 8:26 New King James Version

Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 New King James Version

The Holy Spirit with in us guides us to what is the right way to live. There have been too many times when I was in doubt about certain circumstances but the Holy Spirit lead me to make the correct ones which prevented a lot of grief.

The reward for this is peace in our lives and joy in our loving relationship with the Trinity.  There are so many times in my prayers that I am so filled with spiritual joy it feels as if every molecule in my body wants to scream out:” I love You my Holy Father, I love You.”

The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17 New King James Version

There have been so many times in my trials and tribulations I wanted to quit but was empowered by the Holy Spirit to continue on the victory.

That you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 New King James Version

 

The Holy Spirit teaches us about Jehovah which leaves us in awe, respect and a deeper love for Him.

 

These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1 Corinthians 2:13 New King James Version                                                                      

The reward for this is a stronger loving bond with Him.

But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 1 Corinthians 6:17 New King James Version

                                                                                                            

And finally, He is the best remodeler there can ever be. Looking back I am amazed at how much He was destroyed the old pot of clay and remolded me into a completely opposite creature. Every one of those fruits are in an abundance in my live.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. Galatians 5:22 New King James Version

Now do not expect all of these to occur when you accept in your heart Jesus Christ as your Savior. Some may take years, some may take decades (for me some took twenty years). We go on Jehovahs time not ours. Speaking from experience although a lot of it has been very difficult I humbly thank my Beloved every day for the amazing work over He has accomplished in this lumpy clay. And the thing is, the process continues all of our lives.

The Christian walk is one of constant learning and remolding of our spirits. It does not happen over night, it happens over a lifetime. Joseph- Anthony: Green

No It Is Not.

So too it is with Christianity.

Teach them his decrees and instructions, and show them the way they are to live and how they are to behave. Exodus 18:20 New International Version.

Too many times I have seen Christians attempt to lead nonbelievers to Jesus. I have seen it when people invite others to church, to Christian music concerts and other methods. This is all fine and dandy but then what?

If the unbelievers decide to give their life to Jesus there is a praise Hallelujah and then my job is done.

No it is not.

That is like telling someone how great hockey is and convince them to go with you to watch a game. After the game they decide they like it and want to play. You slap them on the back and congratulate them and walk away. How are they going to learn the game if you do not teach them?

So too it is with Christianity.

If you want to lead someone to Christ you had better be prepared to guide them not only to Christ but to teach them about Him, how to have a relationship with Him and how to live according to His standards. Otherwise, the people will not only lose interest in Christ but will mock Christians. It will take commitment on your behalf and may take years.

You can begin by being an example of what a Christian looks like.

From my experience it took six months of patient guidance before they would even accept Christ.

Now sometimes you are the sower and sometimes you are the reaper.

My experience has been that I am the one who sows the Word and then another teacher comes along and takes over from there. That is the way God has planned it not me.

So, just as John’s disciples left him to follow Jesus, if God has chosen another to be their teacher after you guide them to Christ, be humble, step back and with grace surrender your students to the other.

Prayer: Please bless me Jesus Rabbi (Jesus our teacher) with the wisdom, patience and skill like you had to teach others the marvelous things You have done in my life. In Your brilliant name I humbly ask. Amen
