But Whoever has Adequate Resources

SHARING

But whoever has the world’s goods (adequate resources), and sees his brother in need, but has no compassion for him, how does the love of God live in him? 1 John 3:17 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

I have seen people who do without their daily needs so they can give to the bleeding hearts (most of whom are scam artists in my opinion) on TV cry babying for money. It is pitiful to see but they think they are doing good (meanwhile many of these ceo’s are getting paid millions of dollars and the people you think you are helping are just too lazy to help themselves). Many falsely believe they are obeying Jehovahs commands to help the “poor”.

When I was was in Central America folks were constantly telling me to get married and have lots of children so they can support them when they get old. Meanwhile they cannot support their families. They would look at me and say because I have more money than them I “owe” it to them to give them my money.

As well, volunteering in soup kitchens it was common for the “poor” to come up to me and brag about the new tattoo they got and then cry baby they do not have money for food and demand I give them money because I have more money than them.

We are to give, but we are to give sensibly.

Check out the organization (begin by looking at the ceo’s wages ) and if the money is going to actually help those who are worthy of the help.

I do not care if you think I am a scrooge. I would rather give wisely and be considered a Scrooge than give foolishly and be a sucker. Joseph- Anthony :Green

If you cannot afford to help financially then help by donating your time to a worthy cause.

Prayer:Please Jehovah-Jireh (God is our Provider) provide wisdom unto those who wish to honour You but have limited financial resources to organizations that will appreciate their skills more than their finances. Please provide those with available financial resources to organizations that will wisely use the gifts graciously provided unto them. I ask this in the name of he who always provided for His disciples when he walked with them Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Product of Attitude and Thought.

COMPLETE DEDITACATION

And blessed (happy, prosperous, to be admired) is he who trusts [confidently] in the Lord. Proverbs 16:20 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

Every day I pray for Jehovah to bless me with opening my eyes to all His blessings great and small. Joseph- Anthony: Green

When I do this my attitude is one of gratefulness and this creates a happy disposition in my daily life that flows out to those around me. Many times it brings light into anothers darkened day. They in turn share it with others. You may be surprised at just how much your positive attitude can change the environment you are in whether that be at school work or in society ( like on public transit). Now, the older we get the more deep wounds we have in our hearts from those who have abused us.

The devil will use these to play over and over again in your mind to steal away your happiness.

When this happens, why not pray for Jehovah to help you focus your thoughts on your amazing love affair with Him.

When you have a heart of gratitude there is no place for anger, fear or worry. Joseph- Anthony: Green

This is a blessing that must be asked for daily and be appreciated in the evening time with bed time prayers of gratitude unto the giver of these blessings.

Happiness is a product of attitude and thought. It comes from you, not to you. –Richard Daly

Prayer: Please Jehovah-Bara (The Lord Creator) bless me with creating a daily attitude and behaviour of gratitude for all the numerous blessing You abundantly graciously give me every day. Bless me with concentrating upon Your love to heal the deep wounds that have been inflicted upon my heart so that it will be filled with Your divine love to be shared with others through out the day today and every day. I sincerely request this in the name of He who taught His disciples gratitude as He walked with them Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ beautiful love bless you today and every day.

We Must Crucify it Daily.

work-in-progress

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 Holy Bible New International Version

When we are Christians we must daily crucify self for Christ.

Christ first, others second, self last. That is the daily mantra of every Christian. Joseph- Anthony: Green

One of the mantras of Christians should always be: Not my will but Thy will be done my Beloved Joseph –Anthony: Green

In other words we must always be praying, reading our Bibles and listening to sermons online (my favorite is sermonsaudio.com).

After all if we do not read our Bibles and or listen to sermons how is Christ going to speak with us?

Now He may give us instructions to do something we do not want to do. His will not ours take precedence.

Sometimes what is required of us is too great.

That is when we are to pray for the Holy Spirit to empower us to do Christ’s will.

I know for me it was forgiving someone who hurt me really bad. It took three months of praying before the forgiveness flowed.

So do not be frustrated if what is asked of you, you cannot do right away. Sometimes the Holy Spirit must work within your heart to heal the hurt and to teach you.

In my instance it was not just forgiveness but how to deal with a domineering abusive person.

Prayer: Please Jesus Immanuel (God amongst us) You gave the ultimate sacrifice to me. Open my heart and mind to sacrifice self to You in my daily life. I compliantly request this in Your wonderful name. Amen

May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ precious love bless you today and every day.

His Education can Wipe Out His Education.

HIS INSTRUCTION

Now a priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came to draw water and fill the troughs to water their father’s flock. Some shepherds came along and drove them away, but Moses got up and came to their rescue and watered their flock. When the girls returned to Reuel their father, he asked them, “Why have you returned so early today?” They answered, “An Egyptian rescued us from the shepherds. He even drew water for us and watered the flock.” “And where is he?” Reuel asked his daughters. “Why did you leave him? Invite him to have something to eat.” Moses agreed to stay with the man, who gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses in marriage. Exodus 2:16-21 New International Version

Moses was raised in Pharaoh’s court and learnt the religion and customs of Egypt which was satanic. After running for his life he encountered a priest of Jehovah. He spent the next forty years learning from him.

That is the way with us.

It does not matter if you were involved with a satanic cult, with boozers and partiers or corporate greed, when you become a Christian that knowledge will be over ridden by the Holy Spirit in you giving you knowledge and ability to live a Godly life. It will be a lifetime of learning and improving. You will fall but the Holy Spirit will give you the strength and ability to get back up again on your walk to Heaven.

“Fall seven times, stand up eight.” — Japanese Proverb

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God our Teacher) for blessing me with the wisdom to walk away from a wicked lifestyle towards a righteous lifestyle which is the superior lifestyle. Thank you for not condemning me when I occasionally stumble and fall. Thank you for picking me back up and continue to lead me down the trail to our Heavenly home. I praise You in the name of the most exalent teacher of all Jesus Christ. AMEN.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

The Best Result of Prayer

continual-conversation

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy. Psalm 16:11 Amplified Bible

Prayer is one of the most important gifts Jehovah has blessed us with.

When we face difficulties in our life we sincerely and humbly go before our loving Heavenly Father who always cares about us in prayer. He in turn blesses us with strength, peace, love and joy through the harshest of storms.

I cannot count the innumerable times He has guided me through fierce intense storms that would have certainly crushed and destroyed me if not by His strong gentle hand. He either guides me through it to strengthen me in my walk with Him or He protects me from it because He knows the trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares are too difficult for me to endure.

The best result of prayer is awareness of the presence of God, which allows us to face life with fortitude and dignity. Sheba Ross Delaney

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) for blessing me with the awesome opportunity to be with You any where and any time through Your great gift of conversation (prayer). Thank you for always being available. Thank you for blessing me with Your magnificent love, joy and peace that You abundantly envelope me with when we are in communion. I extol You in the name of my cherished big brother Jesus Christ. Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

The Question is, Who Listens?

gods-word

Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you to fear the Lord [with awe-inspired reverence and worship Him with obedience]. Psalm 34:11 Amplified Bible

No, that is not your conscience speaking to you, that is the Holy Spirit.

The devil is an expert at twisting the truth into a lie so if you depend upon your “conscience” you are easy prey for Him.

Then how will you know if it is the Holy Spirit or the devil?

The answer is in developing a deep personal relationship with Jehovah by reading your Bible and obeying what it says.

From my personal experience when I am reading the Bible and a verse jumps out at me, that is the Holy Spirit speaking to me. I stop reading and pray for enlightenment. Then he guide me to understanding the Bible verse in context to what He is saying about my life.

Another way is to listen to good sermon like on sermonaudio and reading good Christian books like can be found on sites like goodread and https://www.gutenberg.org (personally my preference is for the old classics). Of course we should also have godly Christian councilors.

The problem I have sadly witnessed too frequently is that even when others know Jehovah is speaking to them the deliberately chose to ignore Him because he is telling them something they do not want to hear. They want their way, not Jehovahs. That is a sure recipe for disaster. Then when catastrophes occur they go cry babying to Jehovah and ask why He is doing this to them.

God is speaking to all of us, all the time. The question is not, to whom does God talk? The question is, who listens? Neale Donald Walsch

Are you experiencing difficulties in your life right now?

Are you listening to Jehovah as He is speaking to you?

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God our Teacher) for blessing me with patiently teaching me to be wise, gracious, humble and meek like my Beloved King Jesus. Thank you for the tools You have blessed me with to receive an ever deepening of these blessings. I exalt You in the name of the wisest Rabbi of all Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Are You Wax or Are You Clay?

josephs-quotes-live-for-christ

“The same sun that melts wax hardens clay.” In the same way God’s discipline hardens some folk and they become bitter; in others it produces gentleness, a loving spirit, growth and maturity. God’s will is the latter but the choice is ours. Stuart Briscoe

“Blessed is the one whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. For he wounds, but he also binds up; he injures, but his hands also heal. Job 5:16-18

Just as a parent disciplines their children when they are naughty, so too does Jehovah discipline us when we are going astray.

Now are you going to be like wax and melt under Jesus’ discipline which will allow Him to remold you into what you should be?

Most times it is our behavior that needs adjusting.

On the other hand are you going to be arrogant and stubborn like a spoiled brat and say:” I do not care what you want God, this is what I want!!”

Are you not becoming hard like clay in the sun?

Be warned.

When Jehovah disciplines us it is because He knows what is best for us.

So perhaps we are doing something we shouldn’t and He is disciplining us.

He will only go so far and if we refuse to listen to Him say okay this is what you want; this is what you are going to get.

Look out.

Because, you will find that what you though was pleasurable will turn into a living Hell.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Elohim (Jehovah our creator) create in me a heart that is open to Your wise guidance and discipline. I respectfully request this in the name of He who was obedient to You all the way to the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
