Being of the flesh means we all have weaknesses and weak moments.

Occasionally we all give in to sinful desires. Come on now, have we not all bought something we could not afford and then regretted it later? Or how about the times when the mouth is in action before the brain is in gear and we say something we regret later?

Some call it human weakness.

As well we all have our weaknesses built into us from heredity, it is in our genes. So in some families alcoholism is heredity (which is why it is important to know your family roots and to teach them to your children).

Do not allow the devil to deceive you into believing that when you sin Jehovah is mad at you and He rejects you and you lose your salvation. Do not allow the devil to con you into believing the lies that you must perform some act to be forgiven (like in the catholic church with their praying to beads or saying hail Maries).

You need to approach our loving Father in Heaven confess what you did, admit it was wrong and ask for forgiveness. Do it in the name of Jesus whose sacrificial blood has cleansed you of your sins when you repent.

 

Repent means to admit what you did. Admit it was wrong. And, when applicable make amends for the damage your sin has caused others.

If in your sin you have wronged someone you need to repeat this process with them.

 

A benefit of this is a healing in your spirit that washes away a guilt conscience. You will not have ulcers nor problems with sleep.

You do not need a physiatrist to tell you this. You need Jesus. You do not need to give your guilt to a physiatrist (and how many of them give you pills instead of dealing with the real issues?).

 

You need to make it right with Jehovah.  Do not give excuses (the satanic ritual practiced by the world of not my fault it is societies fault or my parents fault or any one else’s fault. You are the one that committed the sin, you are responsible for it.) so just fess up and apologize for your sin. Make amends where it is appropriate. The offended soul may not forgive you but your conscience is clear before Jehovah.

Should You Not Forgive Them?

In Exodus it was Aaron who made the golden calf to please the people. So He went against God but repented.             In Numbers he was also still the chosen one by God.

Is this any different from our leaders?

We all make mistakes, especially when we are first starting out.

When our leaders make mistakes and repent, should we not forgive them and still accept them as our leaders? After all, what right do you have to expect God to forgive you when you mess up and repent if you refuse to forgive others?

Prayer: Please Jehovah Chanan (God of grace) bless me with a graceful forgiving heart to any and all who repent of their offences against me just as You so nobly forgive this child of Yours when I sincerely repent of my offences against You. His Trouble Shall Return

He made a pit and dug it out, And has fallen into the ditch which he made. His trouble shall return upon his own head, And his violent dealing shall come down on his own crown. Psalm 7:15-16 New King James Version

We have all met, I am sure, those who delight in causing trouble.  They love to cause fights between families, they love to cause fights between friends, they love to cause fights at work or school and they love to cause fights at public events (just look at soccer matches in Europe). They get their perverted pleasure from watching others fight and the grief it causes.

Give it time. It always comes back on them. And when it happens it always happens when they least expect it and at a very inopportune time (like say door crashers at a wedding reception or at a social event where it will cause them a lot of embarrassment.

The other thing I have noticed about them is that when they are young they believe they are getting away with it but as they age (it usually begins in their forties) they find themselves friendless. When they need companionship or help there is no one there for them.

Another thing I find happens is that they end up with tormentors (say a neighbour that is constantly playing loud music and doing things to anger them and laughing in their faces. Their lives are one of constant torment.

I have seen it too many times to count (that is one advantage of being older; we get to see them receive them fruits of their labours as it were). When confronted with these wicked creatures do not take things into your own hands but leave them in the hands of Jehovah. It may seem as if they are getting away with it and you may not see Jehovahs justice but be sure they will get what they have coming to them.

Are You Willing to do it?

He said to his servants, “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.” Genesis 22:5 New International Version

Abraham had such strong belief in Jehovah that he believed even if he sacrificed his only beloved son that Jehovah would bring him back to life.

How about you?

Is there something precious in your life that Jehovah is telling you to sacrifice it to Him? Could it be your marriage, children, home or career?

Do you have the faith to put it on the alter?

I have on numerous occasions.

No I did not gain material wealth I my obedience and it was difficult during and after.

I was asked by Jehovah to sacrifice the security of my home to go to another country to serve Him. It was difficult in both going and being there.

The blessing was that in the difficulty it drew me into a deeper relationship with Him and that is the greatest reward He could bless anyone with.

How Much of a Push do You Need?

Have you ever felt the Lord moving you to leave someplace like work or a relationship and you did not want to leave?  Then He has to take drastic measures to get you out of that place or situation? Was it a relationship or someplace you were living? Reflecting on it you understand that even though you did not want to go, the Lord saw the impending danger and took those drastic measures because they were necessary.

I can think of a situation where all the signs were there but I did not want to leave. Finally the Lord took drastic a measure to get me out of there. Looking back I am glad He did.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rohi (God our Sheppard) for taking the nessesary actions to get me where you wanted me to be and to do what you wanted me to do. Please always move my heart, mind and feet where You desire for me. I humbly request this in the name of our wise Sheppard Jesus Christ. It is Not Unconditional.

I am so fed up with this false teaching that Gods love is unconditional. That has to be one of the biggest lies ever told.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Matthew 7:21 New King James Version

Are you seriously trying to tell me that those who steal, murder, deal drugs, commit homosexuality and various other filth will be granted permission into Heaven and they will hold hands in a circle and sing come by ya my Lord?

If so. then why did Christ have to shed His precious blood and die?

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:8-10 New King James Version

As in any relationship there are rules they must be obeyed.

If you go and live in another country are you not bound to obey their laws?

How much more so to be granted entry into a perfect world?

Remember that old saying:” One bad apple destroys the whole barrel?”

Do you really foolishly believe Jehovah will permit rotten apples to destroy His perfect world? Think of all the saints that have suffered and died for Christ. Would it be fair to them to have suffered and died for Christ and then have to face their unrepentant tormentors and those who viciously murdered them to be granted citizenship in Heaven?

So if you are one of those who are preaching this satanic rubbish be fair warned, you will answer to Christ for your wicked lies.

If you are foolish enough to believe you can go out and live with the devil here on earth and expect to be welcomed into the gates of Heaven you are living a fools dream.

Is My Strength.

The Sovereign Lord is my strength. Habakkuk 3:19 New King James Version

Where do you find you physical strength?

There have been so many times when there was something important that had to be done and my physical strength was drained from me. I prayed to Jehovah for strength and felt invigorated to complete the task (mind you we need proper rest and once the task was completed I was drained).

Where do you find your mental strength?

There have been so many times when I felt mentally exhausted yet there was important work that had to be done. I prayed to Jehovah for strength and felt invigorated to complete the task (again we must take our rest and when the task was completed I was completely exhausted).

Where do you find you physical emotional strength?

There have been so many times when I felt emotionally exhausted yet there was important work that had to be done (like comforting a dying friend and their families). I prayed for the emotional strength to see I through and the Lord abundantly supplied my needs.

The greatest witness we can perform to helping others understand the Christian walk is to share our personal testimony of what Jehovah has done in our lives and through our lives. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Remember when you first came to Christ and you could not and would not shut up about Him?

Do you still do that?

Now do not be a pain in the butt and shove Jesus down others throats because that will just cause them to walk away from Christ. I know it certainly did me for many years.

Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to the proper place, time and audience to share what Christ has done in your life and through your life.

Going my own way leads to disaster, depending upon and being obedient to the Holy Spirits guidance leads to success. Joseph- Anthony: Green

To be sure most will laugh at your testimony but when you speak at the Holy Spirits guidance there is always one that will listen. Then they will be open to listening more and be more open to learning of Christ. When I was a teacher in Asia there were fifty five students in my class. Out of the class five would come to Christ.

Do not expect to save everyone in the world. That is not your duty. Our duty is to share what Jesus has done in our lives and through our lives. It is the Holy Spirit’s job to move any recipients to accepting the call.  Now be fair warned. Once someone has become interested and desires to hear more you now have the commitment to be their mentor. This is very challenging and sometimes lasts for years.

On the flip side of the coin, when you see a brother or sister experiencing a trial or tribulation that you went through it is your duty (duty is an act of love) to come up along side of them and share how Jehovah guided you through those trials and tribulation, sorrows and snares. It is your duty to help strengthen them and encourage them. This also takes commitment and can be very challenging.

But, in both instances it is well worth the effort knowing that you have blessed another through your witness.

Prayer: Please Jehovah-Jireh  (God is our Provider) bless me with the wisdom, grace, meekfulness and humbleness to share all of the amazing things you have done in my life and through my life. May my testimony guide others to you and be a help to others who are in Your wonderful family. Have you ever gone to another country and when you tried to share Jesus they become violent and want to beat you or kill you?

I can think of a country where their excuse for rejecting Jesus is that it is a religion from the west. That of course, is just an excuse. Their real reason is that they are sinners and they know it. They enjoy walking in the darkness and are offended when the light comes to the.

People reject Christ for moral reasons not philosophical ones. They are sinners and they know it. Lance Havner

Be careful of the Snakes

In Exodus twenty one because the people angered Jehovah with their constant whining He brought serpents into their camp and many died.

Does the snake of whining or bitterness or greed or mean spiritness bite your heart and poison your relationship with Jehovah and with others?

Just as the people were healed when they looked to the bronze snake on a stake are we not healed when we look to Jesus on the cross with a repentant heart?

You cannot eat strawberries if you plant lemons. If you are bitter like a lemon you will end up alone and drink plentifully of the bitterness you have sown. If you plant the sweetness of love, you will be blessed with an abundant harvest of sweet love. Joseph- Anthony: Green.
