We are Still Stewards

 The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it. Genesis 2:15 Holy Bible, New Living Translation

Now, even though we are not in the Garden of Eden we are still stewards of Jehovahs creation.

One day early this spring while riding my bicycle down a country road the Lord guided my attention to how filthy the side of the road was and reminded me that as a Christian I am a caretaker of Jehovahs creation. He inspired me to go midweek with some garbage bags and start to clean up all the rubbish on the side of the road. It was incredible the amount that was collected in a short distance. I made a commitment to return one day a week and continue down the road until it was all cleaned up.

“You must not defile the land where you live, for I live there myself. I am the Lord, who lives among the people of Israel.” Numbers 35:34 Holy Bible, New Living Translation

After about a month, it rained out on the scheduled clean up day. A couple of days later when riding down the road to get some supplies for our garden the Lord directed my attention to the side of the road. It was spotless. That means someone or group noticed the work done, how it looked good and how bad the uncleaned part looked. They took the initiative and cleaned it up.

Many times we can lead by example in life with out even realizing it. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Bore (Isaiah 40:28) The LORD Creator for blessing me with helpers to restore some of Your creation to the beauty You created to be. I exalt You in the name of He who will restore all of creation to its original beauty upon His victorious return Jesus Christ. Amen

A desire to know merely to know, is curiosity.

But a desire to know in order to do, is godliness.

I have met many that can quote any Bible verse for any situation. When asked if they put it into application in their lives they just give me a dumb look and walk away.

I have met a few of the wise that can quote a Bible verse for any situation and explain what it means and how the Holy Spirit helped them to put it into application in their lives. Those are the ones I will listen to and respect.

The doctrines of Scripture are at once . . .the source of consolation, and the means of sanctification. It is in our worse agony that we experience the greatest consolation from our Heavenly Beloved. Sometimes He speaks to us in His loving word (the Bible) and sometimes He comes to us in spirit and comforts us personally. Either way we experience Divine comfort and encouragement.

To sanctify someone or something is to set that person or thing apart for the use intended by its designer according to the dictionary. We as Jehovahs children are set apart from the world in our thinking, living and actions. We are to be beautiful lights that glow from our Heavenly relationship with our Divine Designer, Jehovah, so that we are beacons guiding those stumbling in the dark world into the Celestial Light, Jesus Christ.

The doctrines of Scripture . . .come into the mind as knowledge, produce peace and love in the heart, spread the beauties of holiness over the character and conduct. These Holy doctrines are taught to us individually by the supreme teacher, The Holy Spirit. They are not taught as a system of religion but rather are taught as a manner in which the child of Jehovah become holy.

One of the fruitations of growing in knowledge and application of scripture in Heavenly peace and love as we emulate our best friend Jesus Christ.

The doctrines of Scripture are light; and like the rays of the sun, they sustain life at the root of the vine, and produce fruit on its branches.

Just as sunlight bring live giving vitality unto the vine so too does scripture enlarge spiritual life in the child of Jehovah. This life produces abundant harvests in the society it dwells in.

This heavenly light of truth gives . . . spiritual vitality to the soul, and holy conduct to the life. The truth will truly set us free from the lies in the world around us and fill us with vitality to share this light with others. This is first accomplished in the conduct of the saint.

The doctrines of Scripture are facts, which involve corresponding emotions and principles of action, and must, from their very nature, if believed, be operative upon the heart and the life.

Prayer: Thank you El-Deah God of knowledge for blessing me with Your abundant Divine knowledge in the proper manner in which to conduct myself according to Your wise principals.

Please bless me with the strength to consistently incorporate them into my daily life.

It Does not Matter What

  Am I now ]trying to win the favor and approval of men, or of God? Or am I seeking to please someone? If I were still trying to be popular with men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10 The Holy Bible Amplified Version                                                  

It does not matter what he says, she says or they say. What matters is what Jesus says.

For those who claim that the prophesies in the Bible were written by man they have to have a very vivid imagination. How could the prophets thousands of years before hand prophesy about Jesus’ coming?

How could they prophesy about things they could not even would exist thousands of years ahead of time (like global warming (which is what John was talking about)? \

How could Daniel even imagine the Roman Empire when they were just primitive villagers at that time?

For those who claim.no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will here is what Jehovah says to them but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God Given by Divine Inspiration . 2 Peter 1 : 21 The Holy Bible Amplified Version          

For those who claim that the Bible was written by man upon his own inclination this verse refutes that claim. This verse destroys those who claim the Bible was written by man for his own ends. Being a Christian writer myself I speak from person experience where Jehovah guides my writing. If it does not meet His approval He lets me know and guides me to write what He wants to be said. Just read all of my article to see if this is true.

In the early days of my walk with Christ I was very independent. It was not that I was proud but felt it a shame to ask for help and felt like a failure. It took the Holy Spirit many decades to finally eradicate that from my disposition. Now, I try not to attempt anything without going first to Jehovah in council.

Many times I do not understand what He is doing but I have complete trust in Him. He has never let me down so why should’t I.

Going my way is a gamble, going Jehovahs way is a sure fire success. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

There is No Fear

There is no fear in love [dread does not exist]. But perfect (complete, full-grown) love drives out fear, because fear involves [the expectation of divine] punishment, so the one who is afraid [of God’s judgment] is not perfected in love [has not grown into a sufficient understanding of God’s love]. 1 John 4:18 Holy Bible, Amplified Version

I believe that John was referring to repentant Christians in this passage.

Those who do not belong to Christ and unrepentant Christians have every right to fear Jehovahs punishment.

Hell is real, it is not pleasant and is for an eternity. There is no plea bargaining before Jehovah nor parole. Joseph- Anthony: Green

On the other hand, there is no need for a repentant Christian to worry about Jehovahs wrath. Christ has paid for our ransom and repentance is the second key.

Yes, Jesus’ blood has paid the price for our sins but if we continue in them that sacrifice is made null and void.

When we love Jehovah we desire to please Him and that means living a righteous life.

No one lives without sin. If that was possible Christ would not have made His horrifying sacrifice.

However when we sin and come before Jehovah with a sincere heart that is remorseful for what we have done and pray for the Holy Spirits power to be in us to overcome this weakness not only will our sins be forgiven but the Holy Spirit will bless us to conquer our habitual sins which are too strong for us to defeat on our own.

I know, there were many strong habitual sinful habits that I tried to conquer on my own only to crash and burn. When they were surrendered to the Holy Spirit He INSTANTLY forever destroyed them.

Now sometimes we must work in conjunction with the Holy Spirit by say getting into good Christian counseling to deal with the underlying reasons for the weakness (so sometimes someone abuses alcohol and or drugs to kill the pain of something tragic and painful earlier in our lives that they have not dealt with).

Again, I know of that of which I speak because I was blessed with Godly Christian councilors that took a year of counseling to deal with those issues. Many others it takes two or three years.

Prayer: Thank you Jesus-M’Kaddesh (The Lord is my Sanctifier) for Your cherished gift of sanctification (sanctify: to purify or free from sin) through Your holy blood when we repent of our weakness (sin) and thank you through the gift of the Holy Spirits ultimate power of forever smashing the destructive addictions in my life. I am eternally grateful in Your wonderful name. Amen.

Only if You Let It.

I am a caregiver for my elderly mother. She is extremely stubborn and independent. Because of health reasons she has lost a lot of her independence. This causes a lot of friction between us. Many times I feel like I am going to explode and I have to get away from her. The only thing to calm me down is a cigarette. As well she is stubborn and refuses to listen to listen to anyone. She is right and the whole world is wrong (even though she does not know what she is talking about). Then when things go south she always blames everyone but herself. I go almost a month without smoking and then she gets into one of her moods and look out. Then I need a cigarette and we do not talk with each other for a few days.

This has been going on for three years. Each time I prayed for wisdom on how to handle her and then read an article on how a man was stressed out and was told that the reason for his stress was because only if you let it stress you out it will.

Now that sounds reasonable but then how do you handle the situation?

Later while reading the Bible this verse suck out to me: Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee. Holy Bible , American Standard Version

It makes perfect sense.

When stress comes I remove myself from the situation and allow it to drive me to my knees where I belong in prayer.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Machsi – Lord my Refuge for blessing me with the privilege of entering into Your holy sanctuary where You bless me with peace, healing, comfort and fortitude to carry on in my duties (duty is an act of love) to You and my mother. I praise You in the name of the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ. Amen.

Cleavet After a year and a half mom has now settled down and our relationship has improved tremendously. She has even begun to go to church again for the first time in about forty years. The lord has taught me how to deal with stress. Mom has not smoked in about a year and I rarely smoke now (I am confident one day my Lord will permanently smash this chain of addiction)

He Hears You.

O You who hear prayer. Psalm 65:2 New King James Version

When you pray you are not praying to a dead idol made of wood or metal or some make believe fellow like Santa Claus or to dead souls, like the saints. That is foolishness.

Instead with reverence, love and sincerity pray to the living God whose throne is in Heaven.

He hears your cry when suffering sorrow. He blesses you with answers that give reassurance and healing.

He hears your cry when you need help. He answers with protection and resources to conquer your adversary.

He hears your cry when you are alone and feel dejected. He blesses you with filling you with His Divine love, comfort and encouragement. He hears your cry when you need guidance in your life. He blesses you with resources and guidance councilors to show you the path you must take.

He hears your cry when you are remorseful He not only forgives you but guides you in the proper manner to reconcile with the one you have done wrong. This blesses you with peace in your spirit.

He hears your cry when you need to learn something. He blesses you with wise teachers and mentors that reveal the knowledge you need.    And of course it is with pure delight he hears your song of praise for His love. To Him that is the sweetest song that ever exists. Of course when we are in a loving relationship we delight in sharing with the one we love how much we love them.

He cherishes your prayer of thank you when He blesses you. That is the respectful thing to do is it not? When you help someone does it not feel good when they thank you? How much more than should we thank our Beloved Father in Heaven when He blesses us?

You do not need to make an appointment and he is never too busy. Jehovah is always there, Jehovah always cares. Joseph- Anthony: Green

When you continuously continue in a weakness (like being short tempered) He does not become exasperated with you and give up on you. When you honesty are repentant and humbly ask for forgiveness He will forgive you and thousand times a thousand.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Heseh (God is love) for being such a loving Father to this cherished child of Yours. Thank you for Your blessings of Your Hoy love, strength, wisdom, comfort and encouragement as Your never end provisions. I praise You in the name of Your most special blessing Your Holy Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

They were but Flesh.

For He remembered that they were but flesh. Psalm 78:39 New King James Version

Being of the flesh means we all have weaknesses and weak moments.

Occasionally we all give in to sinful desires. Come on now, have we not all bought something we could not afford and then regretted it later? Or how about the times when the mouth is in action before the brain is in gear and we say something we regret later?

Some call it human weakness.

As well we all have our weaknesses built into us from heredity, it is in our genes. So in some families alcoholism is heredity (which is why it is important to know your family roots and to teach them to your children).

Let Your tender mercies come to me, that I may live. Psalm 119:77 New King James Version

Do not allow the devil to deceive you into believing that when you sin Jehovah is mad at you and He rejects you and you lose your salvation. Do not allow the devil to con you into believing the lies that you must perform some act to be forgiven (like in the catholic church with their praying to beads or saying hail Maries).

You need to approach our loving Father in Heaven confess what you did, admit it was wrong and ask for forgiveness. Do it in the name of Jesus whose sacrificial blood has cleansed you of your sins when you repent.

 

Repent means to admit what you did. Admit it was wrong. And, when applicable make amends for the damage your sin has caused others.

If in your sin you have wronged someone you need to repeat this process with them.

 

A benefit of this is a healing in your spirit that washes away a guilt conscience. You will not have ulcers nor problems with sleep.

You do not need a physiatrist to tell you this. You need Jesus. You do not need to give your guilt to a physiatrist (and how many of them give you pills instead of dealing with the real issues?).

 

You need to make it right with Jehovah.  Do not give excuses (the satanic ritual practiced by the world of not my fault it is societies fault or my parents fault or any one else’s fault. You are the one that committed the sin, you are responsible for it.) so just fess up and apologize for your sin. Make amends where it is appropriate. The offended soul may not forgive you but your conscience is clear before Jehovah.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-M’Kaddesh (The Lord is my Sanctifier) for blessing me with forgiveness for my sins when I am weak and surrender to them and then sincerely repent of them. I exalt You in the name of he whose precious blood made this possible Jesus Christ. Amen.

You Can’t, He Can

To him who is able to keep you from stumbling. Jude 24 New King James Version                                                                                                    

We all have them.                                                                                                

We have inherited them from our parents.                                                        

Sinful disposition traits are handed down from one generation to the next. This is why it is important to trace your ancestors. Doing so helps you understand why you are the way you are.                                                       

So if say you have relatives in your family tree that were alcoholics you would know it to be very wise to abstain from drinking.                                      

As well it is also of extreme importance to pass this knowledge onto your children to help them avoid much grief and destruction in their lives.                                                                                                                    

Now there are some bad traits that try as we may we can never conquer them.                                                                                                                    

So say you are short tempered it does not matter how hard you try to control your temper you will always be short tempered.                               

All is not lost however.                                                                                     

We are blessed with the gift of the power of the Holy Spirit when we accept Christ as our savior and surrender these weaknesses to Him in complete faith that He shall conquer them.

                                                                                                                               

As well He will bless you with knowledge of what triggers your temper to go off and the necessary steps to avoid these ruinous situations. There will come occasions when you cannot escape them. Then it is time to run to the safety of the Holy Spirit. Call upon Him quickly with complete faith He shall deliver you and He will.                                                    

I speak from personal experience on both of these weaknesses.                   

There were inherited weaknesses that were destroying my life that I had no power over. It was only when I completely surrendered them to Christ that I was saved. 

There are ruinous dispositions that require daily prayer to prevent me from disastrous situation that the Holy Spirit either prevent from occurring or guided me through them when they do occur.                      

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Chatsahi (The Lord is my Strength) for blessing me with Your Devine strength to eternally conquer the fleshly weaknesses in my life that was spiritually destroying me and making my life a living Hell. Thank you for blessing me with wisdom and strength on how to keep them at bay. I exalt You in the name of Your strong Son my Beloved Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
