It Is a Never Ending Circle.

In the entire Book of Judges after Joshua died the Israelites went on to worship the idols of the people they did not conquer. As a consequence Jehovah sent a lot of tribulation to them. When they repented He took the persecution away. Once the Lord blessed them, then like dumbo’s, they went right back to idol worshipping.                                                                                                                    

Are we not guilty of the same goof ups?                                                                                                  

We get comfortable in the Lords blessings and start worshipping the blessing instead of Jehovah?                                                                                                             

Let us say you are blessed with a contract where you can live a comfortable life, do you start to worship the things this comfortable life brings you like your house or car more instead of Jehovah?                                                                                     

Do you consider it more important to wash the car than spending time in Bible Study?                                                                                                                                     

Do you spend more time taking care of your house than in taking care of the disadvantaged in society?                                                                                                      

Is it any wonder that Jehovah takes His blessings away from you?                               

 

You repent and Jehovah send His blessings to you and again you turn from Him.

You need not look into ancient history.                                                                                 

Just look at the times before the great depression and then the great depression.

Look at every time before we have had a reccetion and see how much we had abundance.                                                                                                                                      

There is a saying: “When times are hard, the churches are full. When times are good the churches are empty.”                                                                                              

Is it not better to live in gratitude for Christ in both the sunshine and the rain?

Prayer: Jesus Pryyand (Jesus my friend) I love to spend time with You when the times are good and appreciate even more the times You are with me when the times are bad. The Christian Ark.

Then Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, “Take up the ark of the covenant and cross over before the people.” So they took up the ark of the covenant and went before the people. The Ark represented the presence of Jehovah.                                                             

Our ark as a Christian is the Holy Spirit.                                                                                 

Just as the Israelites had to have faith in Gods presence in the ark and obey what was instructed for them to do, do we not need faith in the Holy Spirits presence in our lives and in obedience follow where He leads us?                                              

 Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Immanuel (God amongst us) for the hollowed gift of the Holy Spirit dwelling in me. This is such a spiritual life giving presence that I need more than daily physical nourishment. I exalt You in the name of He whose sacrifice and resurrection made this possible Jesus Christ. Amen

It Will Go to the Lowest.

 

So she said, “I will surely go with you; nevertheless there will be no glory for you in the journey you are taking, for the Lord will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman.” Judges 4:9 New King James Version                                                                                                                   

Just as it seems as if women are treated as the lowest in islam today so too were women treated in ancient Israel.                                                                                                        

When Barak refused to trust in the Lord and instead trusted more in His messenger the honour of defeating the enemy went to one who was considered the lowest in that society.                                                                                                  

So too it is with us today.                                                                                                    

When we receive word from say a preacher inspired by Jehovah and depend upon the preacher more than the Lord, He will accomplish what He promised to do , however, do not be surprised when the glory goes to someone who is considered lowly in your circle.                  

                                                                                             

Let us say that the Lord is moving you to help with a relief effort for a church that was hit by a natural disaster and you will not do it without the preachers help instead of having faith in the Lord to give you the wisdom and tools to succeed.

Then during the campaign a small poor immigrant child who can barely speak English is the one who inspires people to offer help and gets the glory why should you be surprised if the glory goes to one who had the faith and took the action the Lord wanted to inspire you to do?    

                                                                               

Prayer: Please Jehovah Rabbi (Jehovah our Teacher) please bless me to always be attentive to Your voice in my life. I sincerely request this in the name of the Sheppard who called me into His special flock Jesus Christ. Amen.

We Do the Same.

Then Gideon made it into an ephod and set it up in his city, Ophrah. And all Israel played the harlot with it there. It became a snare to Gideon and to his house. Judges 8:27 New King James Version                                                                                                              

After Gideon conquered the oppressors of Israel he took some of the booty and made a monument to his victory instead of using it to give glory to Jehovah. After he died the people worshipped the alter rather than Jehovah.                                           

How many people do that today?                                                                                    

Just look in any town or city and count the monuments to great heroes of any country. How many alters (statutes) are there for great men or women or great victories in battle that give glory to the individual compared to how many there are to Jehovah who inspired and strengthened and assisted in the victory?              

Do you take credit for any great victories in your life instead of giving glory than thanks to Jehovah?                    

                                                                                        

An example is: how many alcoholics believe it was of their own willpower that they conquered the demon drink and then one day give in to temptation that leads them to complete ruin?                    

                                                                                  

I have seen a fair amount of it.                                                                                                   

Prayer: Jehovah Yahweh (God of His people) I am eternally grateful for the wonderful privilege of worshipping the most magnificent God of all. Thank You Jesus that it was through Your magnanous sacrifice that this is possible. In Your glorious name I give thanks. It Is Your Freedom That Will Enslave You.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2 New King James Version

Salvation is free but discipleship will cost you your life. Detrick Bonheoffer

Salvation is indeed free. It is only by Christ’s sacrifice that we are saved. It cost us nothing. Once saved however, we are called to a life of service.

In the New Testament time there were what was called bondservants. These were free people who had no means to support themselves and so went to work for rich people.

So too it is with us.

We are free to choose to either accept Christ as out king and thereby become bondservants our to reject Him or remain slaves to Satan.

Before salvation we are Satan’s slaves. His reward is a life of enslavement to sin, worry and anger. Our ultimate reward is an eternal damnation in Hell.

Just as a bondservant could leave his master to serve another the same is true of us.

When we become Christians we leave Satan as our master and accept Christ as our Master. As such, we are called to serve others and thereby serve Him. Our reward is a beautiful loving relationship with Christ and His family. This also gives us the wonderful experience of love, joy and peace. Our ultimate reward is a place in Heaven with fellow Christians to a life of peace, joy and fulfillment.

Who is your master?

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah El Heenu (The Lord is our God) for the most precious privilege of being a bondservant in Your magnificent kingdom. Please provide me with the opportunity to bring others into Your wonderful kingdom and know their places in it. Our God is Stronger.

So I will stretch out My hand and strike Egypt with all My wonders which I will do in its midst. Exodus 3:20 New King James Version

 

Concerning the plagues that hit Egypt, each plague represented a God the Egyptians worshipped and Jehovah proved that He is the one true God that is the strongest.

In today’s world people say that my money is my god. It provides me with all my luxuries.

 

But God can and does take that away from them in an instant or over time and they end up getting their meals at a soup kitchen. Look at the stock market and see how fast people’s fortunes were wiped out in a day. Look at the sports figures and see how many of them are bankrupt in a few short years of retiring.

The same is true with movie, rock starts and TV stars.

Some people depend upon their intelligence and believe they are superior.

What happens to them when they have a stroke or their field of expertise goes the way of the doo doo? How many people believed there would always be a need for a telephone operator and see how many of them are around today.

Some people believe in their power as say and executive for a big company and see what happens when they get caught by the law when breaking the law are sent to prison or their company goes bankrupt.

It Will Never Be Taken From Me.

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. Matthew 19:29 New King James Version

One day while sitting in a park watching people rushing by in traffic, I wondered what it must be like to have a home and a family. As I have travelled most of my life living in one place no longer than six months there was a deep desire to have place to call my own and a family.

There was sadness in my heart.

Then the thought came to me that this countries economy is going south fast and many of them are going to lose everything.

Being a Christian I know my home is in heaven with the most special family and that that will never be taken from me.

Then a feeling of peace, joy and serenity enveloped me.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Yahweh (God of His people) for Your amazing home You have prepared for me to dwell with You and Your holy family in perfect harmony for eternity. I exalt you in the name of He who is king of this awesome kingdom Jesus Christ. Amen

Then I Woke Up.

Then You scare me with dreams And terrify me with visions Job 7:14 New King James Version

I had a dream where I was in a dark cell in a prison cell basement. I was led up a set of stairs believing I was going to be executed. There was a circle of people standing around a fresh grave. There were two signs by the grave. A woman seeing upon me screamed my name in shock but nobody could come near me or I near them. A guard said if I tried to run there was a special bullet to kill me.

Being terrified of death I thought of making a run for it.

Then I woke up.

I prayed to Jehovah that when my time comes to die the Holy Spirit will give me the strength to die like a Christian.

When I went back to sleep there was another dream.

In this dream a Chinese police woman led me up the same stairs. I believed I was going to be executed but felt strength and peace and ready to face the firing squad. Instead I was led to a desk and she was very nervous and afraid. She kept on apologizing repeatedly saying a terrible mistake had taken place and she was filling out the papers to release me. After she left the room a white western woman came and gave me papers in a very relaxed mood informing me these stupid Chinese had made these mistakes before. Then a door was opened and I was enveloped in a bright light.

Then I woke up.

A few days later I was reminded of those symbols by my grave and what they meant in Chinese.

 

They meant being with Jehovah in paradise.

That night after our Bible study everybody prayed for me to have a blessing of peace, strength and wisdom because my ministry of leading the Bible study group was so important as was my writing and that these activities were blessing far more people than I realized.

I did not either mention the dream or asked them to pray that prayer for me.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah KalEl (voice of God) for speaking to me in dreams and the blessing of others praying for me. I give thanks in the name of He who gave Peter  and others divine revelation through dreams Jesus Christ. Amen.

Be Careful They Do Not Lead

Please read Judges 9

In Judges nine Amelbleth along with his goons murdered all the righteous ones.

He then convinced the people to make him king.

The only one to escape the slaughter stood on top of a hill informing the people that because they chose the wrong one, he would do the same to them as Amelbleth did to the righteous ones and that he would die a horrible death.

After some time the people rebelled against him and he slaughtered the people.

Then as he was attacking one town a woman, who was considered the lowest in that society threw a big stone on him and crushed his skull.

Looking at it today, how many false prophets are leading people away from Godly preachers and churches? The ones especially guilty are the prosperity preachers that spew forth the filth that Jesus loves them and will give their hearts desire without them giving anything back to Christ. Or the ones teaching that we can do anything we want and it is okay with Christ and we all get to Heaven even though they are living wicked lives.

Because the people follow these satanic preachers the preachers end up destroying them and then some lowly incident comes around to destroy the anti-Christ preacher.

Be careful that the one you are listening to is preaching the Word less they lead you to ruin.

 

Prayer: Please Jehovah KalEl (voice of God) grant me the discernment to differentiate between the devils smooth slick talk and the wisdom of Your teachers You send to us. I implore You in the name of He who taught His disciples to understood the difference between those who attempted to enslave them with legalistic teaching and Your divine word Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Dogs Are the Mirror.

One thing I have noticed is that dogs are mirrors of their owners.

So if you meet a friendly dog the chances are the owner is friendly.

If the dog is a mean dog chances are the owner is a mean man or woman.

If the dog is a nervous dog chances are the owner is a nervous person.

It is the same thing with the way a dog reacts to people.

If a normally friendly dog is nervous or becomes aggressive towards someone look out. Those people are bad news.

This should be especially true if they are prospective boyfriends or girlfriends.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Chanan (God is gracious) for the wonderful blessing of such wise and loyal four legged friends. I pray we can learn from them love, appreciation, loyalty and bravery. I humbly ask this in the name of He who was born in a stable amongst Your creatures Jesus Christ. Amen
