“The kingdom of heaven is like a [very precious] treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid again; then in his joy he goes and sells all he has and buys that field [securing the treasure for himself].” Matthew 13:4 The Holy Bible Amplified Version
How precious is it to you?
Is the Bible precious enough for you to turn off the TV and read its wise words instead of watching that trash on TV?
Is it precious enough for you to get up early in the morning to read instead of sleeping in?
Is it precious enough for you to take time to read its life giving pages instead of listening to that rubbish they call music?
Is it precious enough for you to give up reading the garbage on the internet?
Is it precious enough to give up time at the gym?
Think of what is most precious to you. If it is not the Bible and spending time reading it and discussing it with Jehovah than why do you call yourself a Christian?
“The Bible is like a telescope. If a man looks through his telescope, then he sees worlds beyond; but if he looks at his telescope, then he does not see anything but that. The Bible is a thing to be looked through, to see that which is beyond.” — Phillips Brooks
