The Power to Overcome.

The closer we walk with Christ the more the devil will attack us to destroy our loving relationship with Christ. He knows he is going to Hell and wants all the company he can get. Besides, the devil is proud so it irks him to no end to see the righteous worshiping Christ instead of him. Do not worry, Christ defeated satan on the cross and on resurrection day. He is strong enough to help you defeat the wimp satan.

Then there is society.

In todays world the motto is: if it feel s good do it. In the Christian world it says if we love others first we will be filled with love and joy. This convicts those in the world and they will viciously attack us. Do not worry Christ will fill our hearts with peace which will infuriate the world ever more.

The world says: If you just try hard enough you can do whatever you want to do. Christ says we are made to serve Him and allow Him to make the choices in our lives. This convicts the world and so they hate us and cruelly attack us. Do not worry, our Heavenly warrior King provided the tools to defeat them.

On our earthly journey we will always find stiff resistance but God blesses us with the power to overcome. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Being Confident In

                                          

I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return]. Philippians 1:6 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

We all have pride when we are walking in the world. It takes time to destroy it, to be replaced by humbleness and gratitude.

We are humble because we do not need to impress anybody.

We are confident in who we are in Christ.

Our hearts are filled with gratitude because of the victories Christ has accomplished in our lives and for the help He amply, daily provides us in living so as to glorify Him in our words and deeds instead of glorifying ourselves.

Pride is fear. Fear of what others think of you instead of being confident in whom you are in Christ. Joseph- Anthony: Green

I am not concerned with the superficial praise of others because it cannot compare with the amazing confidence there is in being Your holy child.

The Difference Between

 Every prudent and self-disciplined man acts with knowledge, But a [closed-minded] fool [who refuses to learn] displays his foolishness [for all to see]. Proverbs 13:16 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

I have seen many who thought they were so smart and in reality they were as bright as a burned out light bulb. They were also very arrogant. There was no talking with them. They thought they knew everything.

For example, when teaching in Asia many of the new teachers had university degree’s. They looked down on me and mocked me self righteously because they were superiority intelligent than I.

What they did not know is that you teach Asian differently than in the west because they learn differently. When I would try to explain this to them they looked at me like I was a piece of rubbish on the street and remarked how they would show me the proper way to teach because I was a simpleton. Of course their classes were disasters. Rather than lower themselves to admit they were wrong, they continued on teaching the wrong way and blaming their failures on the students. This was very common.

The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has it’s limits, stupidity knows no limits. Joseph a son of Jehovah

There has been numerous other examples of this in varying professions I have been in and in different social environments.

Personally I have found the bigger the chip on the shoulders is a good indication that they are blockheads. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Please El Deah (God of knowledge) bless me with Your Divine knowledge and the humbless to generously share this wisdom with others. Please shame me publicly when I begin to become big headed. You are the only one that deserves glory. Bless me to be prudent in accepting praise and self disciplined in sharing knowledge with others so as to give glory unto You and not me. Show Real Desire For

                                     

Repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life] Matthew 3:2 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

There is a proverb that says there is no helping an alcoholic until they want to help themselves. This is oh so very true.

Well, it is the same with the Christian. We can call out to Jehovah to help us with problems and we wonder why He is silent. Perhaps He is waiting to see just how much you desire to take the medicine to solve the problem.

So say you are calling out to Jehovah due to financial restraints. He is waiting to see if you are willing to take responsibility for your foolish spending, like paying extravagant money for a cup of coffee you can make at home for a fraction of the price. You know that is foolish but have pride to be one of the gang at school or work. Why should Jehovah offer any help to you when you refuse to take the first step? If you will not take that first step on your own, you most certainly will not follow His suggestions on how to improve your situation.

As well, He is seeing just how much faith (which means trust) we have in Him. The next part of the equation may mean a huge leap of faith.

So say you are having relationship problems but when He directs you to Godly councilors, you do not trust Him in His selection of councilor and you refuse to listen and obey to the advice He gives. It may sound insane to you but you have to take that first step out of faith in the Lord. Then He takes you by the hand through the rest of the steps. Finally there will be success. This may take years to accomplish.

Prayer: Please Jehovah ‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) enable me to always have a deep desire to be obedient unto Your providential advice.

Please nurture in me a faith that grows stronger in You day by day.

On the Alter Of

And do not give the devil an opportunity [to lead you into sin by holding a grudge, or nurturing anger, or harboring resentment, or cultivating bitterness]Ephesians 4:27 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Unfortunately, one of my bad dispositions is letting go of a grudge. Being more mature I have learned to place it at the feet of Jesus. He heals the wound and avenges the wrong doer.

Many times however, it is played out in my head where they are shamed while yours truly look like the hero. This childish fantasy is surely played out in all of our heads. Rather than dwell on the wound others have inflicted from personal experience, it is better to listen to old hymns that praise Jehovah. This fills the heart with joy rather than anger and bitterness.

Now of course the wound may need to be healed by going to righteous Christian councilors to help deal with the lingering pain.

Those that nurture the grudge are cultivating weeds of hate and anger which suffocate the beautiful plants of love and joy. They become mean, bitter angry old men and women in their later years.

Of course this devastating disease cause great harm to both the mental and physical body.

It also affects the relationship with Christ. Because He is love and there is hate and anger in the heart the two are not comparable.

I have seen more than a few who have sacrificed their physical and mental health on the alter of bitterness and grudges. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: PleaseYAHWEH-Ropheka (God our healer) heal the cuts both superficial and the gougingly deep ones that have been inflicted upon me.

Please empower me to concentrate on all Your loving attributes instead of foolishly wasting my time rerunning the event over in my head where I glorify myself while shaming the offender. That is such a wast of time and is very childish.

I sincerely request this in the name of He who heals all wounds Jesus Christ. Amen

A Thing to be Looked Through

                                           

 “The kingdom of heaven is like a [very precious] treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid again; then in his joy he goes and sells all he has and buys that field [securing the treasure for himself].” Matthew 13:4 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

How precious is it to you?

Is the Bible precious enough for you to turn off the TV and read its wise words instead of watching that trash on TV?

Is it precious enough for you to get up early in the morning to read instead of sleeping in?

Is it precious enough for you to take time to read its life giving pages instead of listening to that rubbish they call music?

Is it precious enough for you to give up reading the garbage on the internet?

Is it precious enough to give up time at the gym?

Think of what is most precious to you. If it is not the Bible and spending time reading it and discussing it with Jehovah than why do you call yourself a Christian?

Prayer: Oh praise You Jehovah El Deah (God of knowledge) for enabling me the supreme honour of digesting the awesome words held with in the most esteemed book there every was, is or will be, Your Holy Bible.

They bless me with wisdom, strength, courage, healing, comfort and encouragement in my daily battle with the dark side.

They also enable me the most supreme esteem of growing every closer in a deep loving relationship with You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

God’s Primary Objective Is

                                        

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross[expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]. Matthew 16:24 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

The Christian life is a life of sacrifice. Sacrifice of :Not my will but Thy will be done my Love”. This means Jehovah first, others second and self last. This is hard as it involves a lot of hardships along the way.

It involves surrender of our will for His.

It means being obedient unto His direction in our lives whether we like it or not. It means going places we shutter to go to.

 It means doing with out.

It means doing a lot of things which are repulsive to the fleshly desire within us. It is not a one off thing but rather a daily one. One which is required of us every day for the rest of our lives no matter how young or old we are.

Prayer: Oh Jesus Christ Hamelech ( Jesus my Lord King ) this humble servant always desires to be obedient unto Your decree’s in my life.

When they are hard I humbly pray the Holy Spirit blesses me with the strength to step out into the unknown world You are guiding me in service to.

I thank you Holy Spirit for the strength, encouragement and resources to fulfill my Beloved Kings biddings.

Love is to Be

                           

Love is to be sincere and active. Romans 12:9 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

I believe we are to be concerned with helping others whenever we have the opportunity.

We need to depend upon the Holy Spirit’s guidance to what we can do and how.

Now that does not mean we are to waste our valuable time and resources on those who make no effort to help themselves. They are just leeches of society.

As well, we must understand there is only so much we can do.

Prayer: All laudation unto You my Beloved Jehovah Heseh (God is love) for the unlimited love You lavishly bless me with every day. I pray my precious one that You provide me with ample opportunities to share Your love through my words and actions every day.

Please advice me where the best place is to exalt Your love through my words and actions so as to plant bountiful seeds unto Your most Holy Kingdom.

By What Actions do We

I have met far too many phonies. As long as they can milk you for money, work for free or for services (like getting a free ride to work), you can walk on water but the minute you ask them for help, you are a stranger to them. If you ask them to contribute you are a greedy, selfish s.o.b. Unfortunately this is the norm of today.

But, we as Christians are not to be normal by the worlds standards but rather we are to be normal by Christ’s standards.

We are to follow the Holy Spirits guidance on where we can share our love for Christ by being loving unto others through service.

Yes, many times this will involve sacrifice whether it be time, money or energy.

Yes many times it will involve enduring harsh hardships, sacrificing yourself for Christ in sacrificing yourself for others.

But, ultimately ,it is an act of worship and love towards our Heavenly Beloved Father who has sacrificed so much for us and for our Heavenly King who sacrificed Himself for us.

Indeed, God showed His love for us by the action of Christs sacrifice. By what actions do we show our love for God? Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Oh please Jehovah-‘Ori (the Lord is my Light) shine Your Divine light on where You want me to go and what You desire for me to do to shine Your glaring light of love unto a cold dark world.

Later I Realized

I have met a few psychiatrists (doing volunteer work at hospitals) that I would not confide in them which is better the red or blue smarties much less serious problems in life. They have a world view which is so wrong it does more harm than good.

Listening to many of these celebrities on talk shows talking about life it is bluntly obvious they need some serious counselling and are definitely not qualified to be counselling others.

The best place to go to whenever you encounter any problems is on your knees. Joseph a son of Jehovah

On the other hand every time I have encountered difficulties in my life and gone to Jesus, He is always available and blesses one hundred percent of the time with the best advice. It may not be what I want to hear but it is always what I need to hear.

As well, He blesses me with the best words of comfort, strength, healing and encouragement that there is none other to compare.

There have been so many times in my difficult life that Jesus was the only one there was to talk with. Then later, I realized He was the only one I needed to talk with. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Oh how I so reverently thank you Jehovah Kal El (voice of God) fr the wonderful time we share together in such loving conversations every day. They are such a treasure to me. Not just for the encouragement, strength, council and soothing healing they bless me soul with but also for the precious time we just spend in loving communion with each other.
