The Reason for That Is

I would like to change happiness to joyfulness.

The reason for that is that happiness is dependent upon physical thing while joyfulness is spiritual.

Happiness cannot ever compare to joyfulness. It is like comparing a hot dog to a steak.

I am grateful for the physical blessing Poppa has blessed me with but remember the spiritual ones far longer and when I remember them it still makes my heart dance with joy. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Why do You?

 We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but he is ready to hear those who worship him and do his will. John 9:31 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

If you desire for your prayer to be answered you must be wholly devoted unto Jehovah. You must devote your mind, body and spirit to Him.

There is no Christian with one foot in Heaven while the other foot is in Hell that can expect Jehovah to answer their prayer. Joseph a son of Jehovah

There is no wanting to fly like an angel while swimming with the pigs in the cesspool of sin. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Why do you gorge yourself on fleshly desires and expect Jehovah to bless you with more valuable spiritual blessings?

Why do you expect Jehovah to deliver you from sorrows, worry and or pain when you are dancing with the devil?

Just as you cannot be a bird and be a fish at the same time, neither can you be a child of Jehovah while befriending the devil. You cannot expect a gift from Jehovah if you are carousing with the devil.

If you sincerely want your prayers to be answered get away from the prince of darkness and begin walking with the King of Light. Joseph a son of Jehovah

PRAYER: Thank you Jehovah Elohim Tsebaoth (Psalms 59:5, Isaiah 28:22) LORD GOD of Hosts for blessing me with being a member of the holy host of saints and angels that worship You both now and for eternity. Have You Ever Suffered From?

 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. 1 John 1:9 The Holy Bible New Living Translation

Have you ever suffered from constipation for a few days?

It feels as if hands of fire are gripping your guts, and your head is going to explode.

Think of how relieved you feel when you finally have a bowel movement. Afterwards you feel light as air and feels pretty good huh?

Now think about how you feel when you repent of your sins. Think of how those sins eat at your soul affecting not only it but your physical health as well. When you repent, that filth is excreted from your soul like a spiritual bowel movement. Should we not be grateful to the one who makes forgiveness possible just as we are relieved from physical constipation?

The Holy Spirits conviction is the best spiritual enema you will ever have for better spiritual health. It flushes the filth of sin form the spirit quite effectively.Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Holy Spirit Go’el (The Lord is my Redeemer) – Is. 49:26, 60:16 for blessing me with conviction which brings me unto repentance which blesses me with redemption. I exalt You in the name of He whose blood made redemption possible Jesus Christ. Amen

Whatever is beautiful, whatever is meaningful, whatever brings you joy, may you be blessed with an abundance of it this every day this year.

He is My Source Of.

 For to me, to live is Christ [He is my source of joy, my reason to live] and to die is gain [for I will be with Him in eternity]. If, however, it is to be life here and I am to go on living, this will mean useful and productive service for me; so I do not know which to choose [if I am given that choice].  But I am hard-pressed between the two. I have the desire to leave [this world] and be with Christ, for that is far, far better Philippians 1:21 23   The Holy Bible Amplified Version         

Do not cry when a loved one is dying, they are going to a far better place. It amazes me when folks what to keep a suffering loved one alive. I think keeping suffering loved ones alive is selfish and cruel. I have watched loved ones die a slow agonizing death from diseases and let me tell you, it is no picnic for wither them or their loved ones.

Contrast that with being in communion with other saints in Christs kingdom in the second Heaven (the Bible mentions three Heavens and when those in Christ die before His return they go to the second Heaven awaiting their masters return to His Kingdom here on earth, which is one of the other Heavens).

I look forward to physical death to be in spiritual Heaven with Christ. Until that blessed event happens I shall do the work He has assigned to me with all the gusto I have. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Oh my cherished Jehovah Heseh (God is love) how my heart aches to be with the supreme love of my life for eternity. While waiting may I always preform my duties unto You with all the gusto there is in me. I pray this in the name of my best friend that I shall spend eternity together with in pure delight Jesus Christ. Amen

He Discriminates In

And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Jehovah does not bless with grace those who refuse His salvation or to obey His commands. He gives us strength that we need to endure trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares but that is only what we need.

We must first put forth the effort and not become solely dependent upon Jehovah alone. Jehovah will always supply us with what we need not what we desire. For example, we may desire an expensive house we cannot afford, Jehovah will not foot the bill for that but will supply you with a comfortable dwelling place. He will not spoil us for that would bring forth an ungrateful heart and a demanding heart which is counter productive to His desire for us.

“God does not give His grace as He gives His sunshine – pouring it out on all alike. He discriminates in spiritual blessings. He gives strength according to our need. His eye is ever on us in tender, watchful love, and what we need He supplies.” — J. R. Miller

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh ( God provides) for bountifully blessing me with Your Divine grace every day. I extol Thee in the name of my most gracious Heavenly King Jesus Christ. Amen

We Will Never Understand It.

 For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God;not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation]. Ephesians 2:8-9 Holy Bible , Amplified Version.

We will never understand it. How Jehovah in His amazing love allowed His most cherished Son to be humiliated, beaten, tortured, mocked and allowed to die an agonizing death and be cast into hell for three days because of His awesome love for us.

Most of us were less than holy when He graciously came to us, indeed many of us were downright scoundrels.

Scoundrels make the best saints because they realize the magnificence of Jehovahs love. Joseph- Anthony: Green

In the world you have to earn it if you want it (except of course in “liberal” societies were the bums expect the government to do everything for them because of the “you owe me” attitude which is destroying some many societies in the world today). Yet Jehovah, in His miraculous love, came unto us with such an fabulous offer that we would be insane to refuse.

This, of course, is not just salvation but also an astounding love affair of which is impossible to match anywhere else. As we progress in this relationship he slowly burns off the dross (sometimes he expels destructive addictions and behaviour on His own and some times He walks through it with it with us) to mold us into a truly new creation. Those that formerly new us are stunned and confused about the change. Of course this process will continue until we reach our heavenly home. As a result our love, respect and admiration for Him is constantly expanding.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Heseh (God is love) for the most wonderful blessing of Your magnificent gift of grace unto a undeserving child such as I. Oh a great big thank you for your incredible transformation of a filthy little rag a bound into a beautiful child of Yours through a slow but steady hand of the Heavenly Molder. I exalt You in the name of he whose stunning gift of His cherished blood made all this possible Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Question is, Who Listens?

 Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you to fear the Lord [with awe-inspired reverence and worship Him with obedience]. Psalm 34:11 Amplified Bible

No, that is not your conscience speaking to you, that is the Holy Spirit.

The devil is an expert at twisting the truth into a lie so if you depend upon your “conscience” you are easy prey for Him.

Then how will you know if it is the Holy Spirit or the devil?

The answer is in developing a deep personal relationship with Jehovah by reading your Bible and obeying what it says.

From my personal experience when I am reading the Bible and a verse jumps out at me, that is the Holy Spirit speaking to me. I stop reading and pray for enlightenment. Then he guide me to understanding the Bible verse in context to what He is saying about my life.

Another way is to listen to good sermon like on sermonaudio and reading good Christian books like can be found on sites like goodread and https://www.gutenberg.org (personally my preference is for the old classics). Of course we should also have godly Christian councilors.

The problem I have sadly witnessed too frequently is that even when others know Jehovah is speaking to them the deliberately chose to ignore Him because he is telling them something they do not want to hear. They want their way, not Jehovahs. That is a sure recipe for disaster. Then when catastrophes occur they go cry babying to Jehovah and ask why He is doing this to them.

God is speaking to all of us, all the time. The question is not, to whom does God talk? The question is, who listens? Neale Donald Walsch

Are you experiencing difficulties in your life right now?

That is a Good Thing.

 And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. ROMANS 8:28 Amplified Bible

This verse should be the greatest comforter, encourager and strengthener in every Christian life when going through trials and tribulations, sorrow and snare.

“How can you say that?” you may ask.

Think about it.

When we are going through a job loss and we do not know where the money is going to come in to pay the bills and it seems as if God is no where to be seen. That is a good thing. It may not seem like it at the time but through this process you will: A: learn to pray sincerely and deeply like you never have before. In this process you draw closer to Jehovah, which is His purpose. And that is a good thing.

B: it will teach you to depend upon Him instead of yourself or your company or anything else that will fail you. And that is a good thing.

C: this will teach you to love, respect and adore our heavenly Father. And that is a good thing.

The same thing will occur in every avenue of your life if you are a Christian.

Through your hard times you will learn to depend upon Jehovahs unending resources, appreciate Him more and draw every deeper into a Divine loving relationship with Him.

And that is a good thing.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Jireh (God is our Provider) for providing me with Your divine wisdom, providence and assurance in every aspect of my life. The best part of this blessing is in developing an amazing loving relationship with you. I exalt You in the name of He whose sacrifice on the cross and resurrection made this all possible Jesus Christ. Amen.

God is Near.

 

 Do you believe that God is near? He wants you to. He wants you to know that He is in the midst of your world. Wherever you are as you read these words, He is present.–Max Lucado

It is not that Jehovah is far from you but that you are far from Jehovah. Think about that okay?

Why do you cry unto Jehovah and wonder why He is far from you when you do not spend any time with Him?

How much time do you spend talking with Him intimately (prayer), not just whining like a spoiled brat to give you things but thanking Him every day for all the abundant blessings he gives you every day?

When you do pray unto Him for guidance how much do you obey what he is saying to you if you do not like what He is saying unto you?

How much time do you spend reading His word?

How much of your time and your life do you give unto Him?

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 Holy Bible, New King James Version

So if you want to get close with Jehovah why not ask Him to share His thoughts towards you and follow His paths that He has predestined for you to be blessed with peace, hope and a good future?  

Prayer: I praise You my loving Father Jehovah-‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) for blessing me with always walking with me through trails and triumphs, sorrow and joy, for guiding my with Your wise gentle, firm had and most of all for blessing me with sharing the most awesome loving relationship with You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I thank you in the name of He who walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen.

That isn’t the end of it.

Continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in
you …Philippians 2:12-13 King James Bible

Once we have accepted Jesus that isn’t the end of it. Going to church once a week isn’t the end of it.
No, brothers and sisters salvation is not a one off encounter.

It is a weekly, a daily, an hourly and indeed a moment by moment event.

We must surrender all aspects of our lives to Christ in order to maintain our salvation. If we do not it may happen as slow as molasses or it may be as fast and powerful as an avalanche. One thing is certain though, we WILL, lose our salvation when it is not directed and controlled by Christ.

Fear and trembling is referring to awe and respect. We should be in awe of Gods love for us and respect His decisions on what is right for us. Let His thoughts direct every aspect of our lives.

How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! Psalm 139:17, New International Version                                
   

They are not only jewels of wisdom, but daily guidance references as well.

 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in  the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
