When we encounter difficult situations in our life and we will, that is God working through us to burn off destructive things in our lives. We do not understand that at the time but when we have faith in the One who loves us the most we will not falter.

“If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.”  Author Unknown

On the other side of it we will be amazed and filled with joyous gratitude.                 

I was in a destructive relationship. God brought about events that destroyed it and freed me from the ruinous association. At the time I was crying out to God why he was allowing this to happen to me. It was not until afterwards I realized how devastating it was on my life and praised God for rescuing me from it.                    

It could be a relationship, it could be a habit like alcoholism or it could me a career that is destroying you and interfering with your relationship with Christ. You can be sure He will bring about events that will destroy it for your own good.                    

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Yeshua (God our deliverer) for rescuing me from anything or one that is destructive and interferes with our special bondship. I give thanks in the name of He who paid such a high price for the blessing of the most wonderful love affair Jesus Christ. Amen.

Your Worst Attacks Comes From Within

If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. John 15:19 New King James Version

 

Many Christians mistake this to solely mean to those outside the Christian community like Buddhists or Muslims or New Agers.

From my experience, and I have a lot of it, they did not hate me. They either respected my beliefs, tolerated it or ignored it.

Then what could these verses be referring to?

Again from my experience, and I have a lot of it, it was from the false Christians in the church, particularly the wolves (the self righteous ones who are always quick to find fault and condemn others). They put on the façade of being a Christian during the sermon but were the biggest hypocrites before and after the service. They do more to give Christians a bad name and drive others away from Christ and church than the best of Satans minions. When they see Christians they hate us and constantly make false accusation against us and do everything they can do to make our life difficult.

So do not be surprised when your worst attacks come from within the church and not outside it.

“Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.  Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5:11-12 New King James Version

Prayer: Please Jehovah Yehew (God of His people) bless me with the wisdom, strength and meekness (meekness means to keep our tempers under control so we do not fall into their wicked bait to get us into stupid arguments and make us look bad) to always exhibit the same behaviour as our beloved friend Jesus did when encountering the scribes and Pharisees in His time. Bless us with this opportunity to expose their evilness and Your divine love. I sincerely ask this in the name of He who showed the way Jesus Christ. Amen.

Go to You

“We do not know what to do, but we are looking to you for help” 2 Chronicles 20:12.

 

 

When I do not know what to do, I always go to You.

Have you ever experienced a time when you were in desperate need of help and no one gave you the help you needed? Your family, friends, councilors and doctors advice seemed empty.

Why do you suffer through that when the first one you should always go to is our beloved Jehovah?

Name me someone who loves you more than Him? Name me someone wiser than Him? Name me someone who has unlimited resources available to help you like He does?  Speak to Him from your heart.

Do not try to manipulate Him by making empty promises you cannot keep (like if you do this for me I will do that for you and then you do not follow through. That is a deadly sin.).

If a man makes a vow to the Lord, or swears an oath to bind himself by some agreement, he shall not break his word. Numbers 30:2 New King James Version

Do not try to give Him the guilt trip. God You said You will help me, now You must do this.

Simply ask humbly, sincerely and with faith that He will answer you.

In my life He has answered in many ways sometimes dreams, many times from the Bible and listening to righteous pastors (Allister Beg, Charles Spurgeon, A.W.Tozer and Vance Havner are my favourites) on websites like sermon audio.com, talking with brothers and sisters (begin with the elders as they have more life experiences under their belt), a Christian song or sitting in a quiet place in nature.

When He answers it is wise to obey Him. What use is it asking for help if you are not willing to obey the advice? Many times it will be something you do not want to do or say but that is where faith come s in.

So many times I thought the advice was crazy but was obedient and obeyed. I praise the Lord that I did because not only was there resolution but if the advice of others was followed it would have led to disaster.

For You Not Them

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. Matthew 5:6 New King James Version

 

How many times do you pray for righteousness to be done in the world?

Instead of that, why not pray for righteousness to be done in our lives? Why not pray for us to behave in a righteous manner?

Righteous:  acting in accord with divine or moral law :  free from guilt or sin Merriam- Webster dictionary
Pray so that we behave in unity with Gods Law instead of praying for this to change or that to change to what be believe is the right way.
The blessing you receive will be spiritual, not material and of course the best blessing of all is the wonderful loving harmonious relationship with Jehovah, Jesus and Holy Spirit.

Now be fore warned, do not pray this if you are not sincere. Because when you pray this the Holy Spirit will convict you of things in your life you may not want to change.
So why not pray for you, not them.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Elohim (Jehovah the eternal creator) bless me with molding Your child into a righteous child so that I will receive the blessings of a wonderful loving relationship with You that will bless others by guiding them into Your holy family. I humbly ask this in the name of the most righteous of all Jesus Christ. Amen.

How Much Do You Bear Each Other?

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,endevouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3

How much lowliness do you exhibit in your life?

Or, do you tend to look down on others because of their physical looks, how much they make or if they have a different accent than you(they need not be from a different country but from a different part of your own country)?

Is your speech gentle and graceful or are you as course as sandpaper? Do you make rude comments or gossip about others?
If someone has an annoying habit do you bark at them or pray for meekness and tolerance? Do you work to keep harmony or do you delight in starting fights and finding fault?

This need not be just in your Christian community.

As Christians we are what the world sees as Christ. How are you doing in your family, at school and at work?

It is difficult if not impossible for us to accomplish these things.

Then how are we to succeed?

We are to humbly ask the Holy Spirit to bless us with the demeanor of Christ so as to glorify Him and draw others to Him.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Chanan (God is gracious) bless me with the attributes of Your most holy son so as to exhibit to others Your love and grace in all my words and in all my actions. I humbly request this in the name of the most gracious of all Jesus Christ. Amen.

How is Your Account?

Do you sacrifice honesty for brown nosing just to impress a teacher or boss? In the end will they not domineer you and treat you like dirt?
Do you promise much and give little to get your way?

When I was in China they would make promises to do grand things for me if I would first do what they wanted me to do for them. After I had completed the task they would laugh and swear straight faced they never made the promise (even when it was put in writing). As a result I would allow them to make the grand promises and then promise to do what they asked AFTER they had done as they promised FIRST, which of course they never did. They would look at me with hate because they knew they could not get away with their filthy lies and conniving.

When you depend upon the Holy Spirit to guide your words you do not have to be concerned about them coming back to bite you.

Everyone will have to give account on the Day of Judgment for every empty word they have spoken.  For by your words you
will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”” Matthew 12:36-37 New International Version

Does this sound like judgment you dread or accolades you will humbly accept? What will be in your account on judgment day?

I read Peters vision of Hell that liars and those that cause trouble will be hung by their tongue over a river of fire while demons whip them with cat of nine tails. Does that sound like some place you want to spend eternity in?

It Is Not Popular.

Then you will know that I am the Lord, For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me.” Isaiah 49:23 New King James Version

 

 

In todays world we are inundated with instant, instant internet, instant food, instant phone and tex messages but with
Christians we must learn to be patient, have faith and wait.  The Bible is, amongst other things, a history book. Look how long Abraham waited for a son, how long was Joseph a slave in Egypt, how long was Noah shut up in that stinking ark being tossed around before he was delivered, how long did Joshua serve under Moses before becoming a leader?
Therefore was as Christians we have to be patient and understand Jehovah works on His time in His way.
When I recount the times He has molded me it took on average three years and sometimes decades.

Think of going to school You attend all year and take the final exam. If you pass you move on to grade three, if you fail you have not learned your lessons well enough and have to repeat (at least that is the logical, though not politically correct thing to do) because you are not ready for the material being taught in grade three.

Then, when we have passed the test we move on to the next level with our walk with Christ.

So too it is with us.

Read in your Bible how many times each of the above (except Noah) failed in their test and had to go through it all over again.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Adonai (God is sovereign) bless me with patience, perseverance and faith to accept Your work, in Your time as You bless me as You burn off the dross that prevents us from enjoying a loving intimate relationship and as You mold me into the child You desire me to be. What Kind of Ambassador are You?

We are ambassadors for Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:20 New King James Version

 

An ambassador represents their country and their government. As such, when we call ourselves Christians everything we say and do represents Christ our king and His kingdom.

What kind of ambassador are you at work, at school, while driving, while shopping and in all your other activities?

 

How about your speech? Do people see a loving but firm Christ when you talk about abortion or homosexuality? Do you have a potty mouth just to fit in or are your words filled with wisdom, grace and meekfulness (It is not weak to be meek. Meekfulness means keeping your temper under control. Only the strong can do that.)

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me. Acts 1:8 New King James Version

As an ambassador it is our divine duty to speak with others of our King and His kingdom. As well as, to invite others to become citizens of our kingdom with our King.

How often do you share Jesus at work, at school, on the bus to work or school, in your
neighbourhood?

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Mein Jerusalem,
and in all Judea and Samaria, Acts 1:8 New International Version

You want a real challenge?
No it is not going on short term missions (which from my observations do more harm than good) where nobody
knows you. It is being an ambassador in your school, at work, in your neighbourhood and where you do volunteer work.

Now if you are going to be an ambassador for Christ do not seek the accolades from man or woman because instead you will many times receive mockery and indeed down right hostility.
To be frank with you I have received more hostility in our so called free world (which is slowly being taken over by the
satanic politically correct) than I did living ten years in communist China.
Prayer: Please Jehovah KaEl (voice of God) bless me to be an obedient child and obey the voice of the Holy Spirit as He guides me where You want me to be and to say the words You want me to say so that others will be blessed to be receptive to Your word, repent and enjoy a loving relationship with You. I humbly request this in the name of He who was the best ambassador when He
walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen.

He Is Always Our Great Deliverer

 

Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. Psalm 34:19 King James Version

 

 

 

When I was a tree planter there was always competition because we got paid per tree.  Some people would cream (plant their trees in your easy land so they could make more money). In the end they had no friends (and in a tree planting camp where you are a hundred kilometers from town and living in tents in the forest that is very lonely) and they got used by someone much worse sometime.  Because I had integrity and did not do this. I was greatly respected in the whole community and thus was a good witness for God.

We must go through the abuse as a means of God teaching us to rely on Him more and to grow in faith, integrity and as a means to give Him glory.

So when someone is cut throat and you are graceful and have integrity do not think it goes unnoticed.  God in Heaven rejoices and says: “That’s my child, I am proud of them.”  Jesus smiles and says: “That is my little sister or brother. I am so proud of them.”  And the angels sing songs of praise to you.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Yeshua (God who rescues or delivers us) bless me with the wisdom, grace and meekness not to retaliate back when someone is abusive to me but rather to shine further Your glorious Spirit in me. May it be an  exhalent opportunity to witness to others and open the door for them to enter into Your loving family. I humbly request this in the name of He who emulated wisdom, grace and meekness to everyone Jesus Christ. Amen.

The Two Pronged Attack

Here is the two pronged attack Satan uses on us:

One Lucifer gets us so interested in gaining material things to keep up with the Jones that puts men and women deeply in debt. 

We grow exhausted in being slaves to a debt that will never be repaid.

Then you are so busy working to pay off the debt and worrying about it that you neglect time with Jehovah in daily Bible reading and praying and enjoying all the beauty around us that He graciously abundantly blesses us with.                                

I find it funny when taking photos. Many people look at me like I am weird because they see me taking photos of the simple things all around us. I explain the simple beauty in the object and it is as if their eyes are open and they look at me in amazement and say: You know, I walk past that every day to work and never paid any attention to it.”
