Me First Puts You Last.

What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you? You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.                                                                                      You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us? But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up James 4:1-10 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation.

Is it not true, this is what causes so many fights today, the feeling that you are the center of the universe? Because of this, you feel no qualms about stepping all over everybody else because you think you are better than anyone else. You refuse to see anyone else’s point of view. You are rude because again, you think you are the center of the universe. Maybe you are to momma and or granma, but not to the rest of us. Grow up and be a man or woman. Learn to respect others.

How about your relationship with God?

In your communion with Him do you have the gimme, gimme attitude?

Are your prayers centered around yourself? Then you cry baby because God does not give you everything you demand.

So many times I have encountered people who say they don’t believe in God (I say they say they don’t believe in God because I believe we all deep down we all know He exists. Many just refuse to accept Him because He will not give them their every desire like spoiled children and because they are haughty and refuse to submit to anyone). When I ask them why, they reply that it is because He has not answered their prayers. When asked what their prayers are they are always self centered.

Of course God will not answer those prayers (Now there is nothing wrong with asking for Gods help or guidance. That is what He wants us to do.).

My prayer is: Not my will but Thy will be done my God. Show me where You want me to go, teach me what You want me to do. May my words and actions bring glory and praise to You and may they lead the lost little sheep to You.Joseph a son of Jehovah

Now what is friendship with the world?

I believe it is self seeking pleasures, whether it be booze, drugs, sex or commercialism. Again, it’s all about you.

That is the life of a loser. Their life is left with a void that they do not understand why. The reason is because they do not have the heart of a servant of the most regal of kings, Jesus Christ.

I love being humble and yes most days I am very joyful (Happiness depends upon physical stimulation, joyfulness depends upon Jehovahs love beating in your heart).

What Will Happen To?

 The godly can look forward to a reward, while the wicked can expect only judgment. Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything. The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed. If you search for good, you will find favor; but if you search for evil, it will find you! Trust in your money and down you go! But the godly flourish like leaves in spring. Those who bring trouble on their families inherit the wind. The fool will be a servant to the wise. The seeds of good deeds become a tree of life; a wise person wins friends. If the righteous are rewarded here on earth, what will happen to wicked sinners? One day while volunteering with a Christian organization delivering furniture to the needy we delivered furniture to welfare bums. They were so lazy they refused to even carry the free blankets used to keep them warm. They were ungrateful.

But, you know what else they were?

Very sad and ashamed .

It was because they knew their lifestyle was wrong not because of us. We were respectful and friendly with them. Listening to them talk amongst themselves we hear them constantly brag about themselves while drinking and smoking cigarettes. This is vanity and it comes from a selfish heart.

But the sad thing is that: When you surround yourself with yourself you end up with nobody but yourself. That is a very lonely place to be. Joseph a son of Jehovah

They were living a destructive lifestyle and it was only destroying themselves.

For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body. 2 Corinthians 5:10 Holy Bible New Living Translation

Later we did deliver furniture to low income folks who were very grateful so it more than evened out for being a rewarding day knowing that we helped the truly needy.

And, because we are Christians and those we helped were not, we gave glory to Jesus and by His grace used this as a conduit to guide them to Him. And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God. Hebrews 13:16 Holy Bible New Living Translation

There is a difference between those in need and those who are too lazy to support themselves. Supporting the later is a waste of the resources Jehovah has given you to help those who are truly in need. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Ghmolah (The God of Recompense) for the assurance that the wicked will receive their just rewards, if not here while on earth then definitely in eternity in Hell. Please bless them with wisdom to see the errors of their ways and to repent of them. I praise You and humbly request this in the name of the Supreme Judge Jesus Christ. Amen

How many for eons have folks wondered the meaning of life?

They foolishly waste their time amassing material wealth.

Those with the most toys when they die are not the happiest nor the riches, they are the saddest and poorest in spirit., Joseph- Anthony: Green

Chasing after satanic religions like buddihism or new agers still leaves them with a empty feeling and purpose.

There is only one way to enlightenment and that is through the Holy Spirit. All else is satan disguised as light as he leads you down to an eternal Hell. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Some try to maintain a super fit body all of their lives, sorry but you will be in for quite the shock on your death bed when you realize it was all for naught. We all die and then go to our eternal rewards’. That is not to say we should not take proper care of our bodies, just do not worship them.

Some find it in raising a family. Oh the deep sadness when their children grow up and they are left with an empty nest and an empty heart, especially if they distance themselves from you which is all too common today. There is nothing wrong with enjoying having a Christian family but those who worship their children and grand children are raising selfish, self centered child which grow into selfish, self centered adults. The only time they call mommy or daddy or grandma or grandpa is when they want money. They do not appreciate it and give nothing in return. They never call, come to visit or help. They are waiting for them to die so they can get their inheritance and spend it foolishly.  I unfortunately see all too often as seniors live a daily hell of loneliness and deep sadness in isolation. This is a shame upon the children and a disgrace.

Others worship their careers. It is all for naught. They will lose it when their career is out dated, which happens all too common today. In many instances people are replaced by robots. How about when you retire, then what are you going to do with your life if it has been centered on your career?

But when we become free willing servant to Christ our King we will find the true meaning of their lives when Jehovah blesses us with revealing it to them. It will not be easy the following path Jehovah has chosen for you but well worth it in our daily lives and in our eternal ones.

Please bless all who place their faith in You with guiding them to the lives You have purposed for them before they were even born. How to Beat the Sneak.

Satan is sneaky.

He does not charge into your mind, he is subtle and begins with just little thoughts. Then they become cemented into your mind and grow like cancer. Eventually they will consume you and you commit a sin.

To effectively defeat this creep use the best and only weapon available to you to soundly defeat him very time.

Carry a Bible verse with you constantly and when the scumbag comes just pull out that verse and with power and authority shove it tight down his throat. Then for the finale inform him that you belong to Jesus so just take a hike. Say it with conviction.

Thoughts become habits so surround yourself with Godly thoughts.

Pray to Jesus to reveal to you your bad habits and the method of defeating them.

Sometimes they are too strong for you and can only be defeated by completely surrendering them to Jesus.

As well think of the things that are triggers and avoid them like the plague. So if you are an alcoholic you need to avoid your drinking buddies and do not even walk down the streets with the bars you used to hang out at.

That is what happened to me with my addiction to alcohol. It was too strong for me and the only way to defeat it was through completely surrendering it to Christ. It was defeated that instant.   That does not mean that satan does not still try his sneaky little tricks but I have the protection of the Holy Spirit to resist him.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Yeshua (God our protector) for the most powerful protection against the most devious liar and thief Lucifer. Your most awesome protection of this child that belongs to You has rescued me from the Highway to Hell and leads me on the difficult Pathway to Heaven. I in deep gratitude extol You in the name of my strong King who defeated our nemesis once and for all on the cross Jesus Christ . Amen.

The Pig Versues the Cat

When do you think they are their happiest?

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Galatians 6:7-8 New International Version

The pig of course is its happiest when it is wallowing in the mud.

When do you think the cat is the happiest?

When it is laying contentedly in the warm sunlight of course.

So too it is with people. There are those who are quite content to wallow in sin. When they see a Christian living a godly life they snort and laugh at us. If you try to coax a pig into the sunlight it will viciously fight you. . There are some that after you share Jesus with them and they refuse you have to walk away. No matter what you do they refuse to come into the light.

Christians are the most contented when they are basking in the warmth of Christ’s love.

Just as mud is disgusting to a cat, so too is a sinful life to a Christian A Christian must avoid fellowship with those in the filth of sin less they be drawn into it. That does not mean we are to refuse to talk with them. It does mean when they want to live the sinful lifestyle like using drugs we are to run away.

Poor people are those who only work to try to keep an expensive lifestyle, and always want more and more.’ José Mujica Uruguayan president gives his wages to the poor.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Rohi (God our Sheppard) please guide me to those living in the filth of sin and provide the opportunity to guide them into Your beautiful sunlight of love. If they enjoy the filth, give me the strength and wisdom to walk away knowing there is nothing I can say or do to change their ways. Thank you my beloved for Your wonderful warm sunshine of love that has blessed me so much. I ask this in the name of He who is the light of the world Jesus Christ. Amen.

Be Careful About Them.

If anyone thoughtlessly takes an oath to do anything, whether good or evil (in any matter one might carelessly swear about) even though they are unaware of it, but then they learn of it and realize their guilt when anyone becomes aware that they are guilty in any of these matters, they must confess in what way they have sinned. Leviticus 5:3-4 New International Version

As you can see, Jehovah takes all vows seriously.

So if you take a vow, even if you are tricked into it and refuse to honour it, you will pay the price.

This I believe is intended to drive home three points.

One: there is a price to pay for disobedience.

Now if you have taken a vow that is detrimental to society, or Christ, you should break it.

Otherwise the consequences will be more severe. So if a friend has nagged you into keeping a secret of how they cheated on an a deal with another company you should break that vow to do the right thing and report it otherwise when they are caught you will suffer the same punishment at them.

 

The second important thing is to drive home the importance of waiting and seeking council through councilors and prayer to avoid being caught up in these in the first place.

The third one is the one I have been plagued with constantly in China.

Do not make a promise you do not intend to keep.

In China they have a practice of promising you almost anything to get you to do what they want you to do. Once you have done your part they conveniently get amnesia and forget their promises (which in reality they had no intention of keeping in the first place).

This has taught me a valuable lesson.

Now when someone wants me to do something for them and they make extravagant promises I inform them loudly in public that because I want them to prove to everyone how honest they are I will give them the honour of fulfilling their promises first.

It greatly shames them.

Every time I see them I loudly ask them when they are going to fulfill their promises.

This is done as a warning to those who are watching and listening so they do not attempt this filth on me.

It has eliminated a lot of stress in my life and a lot less being made a sucker out of.

Prayer: Please Jehovah KalEl (voice of God) bless me to always depend upon Your Holy Spirits voice to guide me on when to and when not to make promises because they are oh so very serious to You. I know this voice will prevent me from making foolish promises or unattainable promises. I sincerely request this in the name of He who promised to always be with me and has kept His promise Jesus Christ. Amen.

My Double Blessing.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 New International Version

 

Every day I pray that Jesus molds me to be more like Him.

 

One day I wanted to go to the library to work on my writing. (it is very hot and the library has air-conditioning. As well they are doing construction where I live and it is very noisy).

 

There was a strong feeling to go grocery shopping instead.

 

When at the supermarket there was a one day sale where many of the items needed were half price.

 

While waiting in line an elderly Chinese female tried to queue jump in front of me.

 

I firmly but politely informed her to go to the back of the line as I stretched out my arm to prevent her from jumping in front of me.

 

Chinese are very stubborn and rude so the arm was put out because they just ignore you and do as they want anyway.

 

She tried to ignore me and push in front. I gently but firmly pushed her back and told her in a stronger voice to get to the back of the line.

 

She understood she was not going to get away with her rudeness and the cashier informed her she would not accept her groceries until she got to the back of the line so she angrily went to the back of the line.

 

The other Chinese females were happily impressed. Upon reflecting upon it later I realized that is exactly what Jesus would have done.

 

Please do not be politically correct and say the old female should have been allowed to get away with her arrogant rudeness. Jesus did not accept abhorrent behavior from anyone regardless of age or status and neither should a Christian.

 

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God our teacher) for blessing me in the proper manner in how to deal with arrogant and rude men and women.

 

I give thanks for this gift in the name of he who did not tolerate rudeness Jesus Christ. Amen.

Think of earthly families okay.

Whether you like to admit it or not, we do inherit undesirable traits from our parents like alcoholism, short temperedness, and of course stubbornness.

Now, the more we submit to Christ, the more we become like Christ.

This is how someone who was cold hearted becomes compassionate, more patient and loving.

This is the only way to conquer our undesirable personality trait.

I used to be very spiteful and hold a grudge for a long time.

Now, when someone wrongs me, I sincerely take it to Jesus and leave it there.

As a consequence my life is filled with more peace and joy.

Only Christ can conquer our undesirable traits.

Then why does He give them to us in the first place you may ask?

It is because we see it is only by His grace and love that these undesirables are conquered and that leads us to exuberant joyful praise to Him. And of course this oozes out of our daily life.

This is, by the way, why it is my personal opinion, psychiatry miserably fails miserably. Their limited reasoning and dope pushing (prescribing drugs like candy) does not and cannot solve the problem.

IMPORATANT There are cases where drugs are necessary like if you have schizophrenia or some other serious mental disability you will have to take medication for the rest of your life. I have seen too many who thought they were better and stopped taking their medication that led to disastrous results.  I see those who stay on their medication lead productive lives and when participating in Christian Bible studies become very calm, joyful and peaceful

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Ropeka (God our healer)  for freeing me from the destructive chains of __________ (name any addictions or destructive behavior traits you had that Jehovah has freed you from). I thank you in the name of He whose power cast out the demons in so many when he walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen.

 

.   Editors note: it was only when I admitted to Jehovah that the demons of alcoholism were to strong for me to conquer and please rescue me that those horrible chains were smashed and it has been many years since I have touched a drink

Prevents It Flying to God.

Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions. Matthew 19:21-22 New King James Version

“The love of worldly possessions is a sort of birdlime (trap), which entangles the soul and prevents it flying to God.” Augustine

In most of the world today most people are slaves.

They foolishly fall for the trap of materialistic pleasures such as a new house (which in my opinion is nothing more than a money pit). Then they are slaves to a mortage and constant upkeep costs. Indeed how many houses are overpriced because of rich immigrants coming in and buying everything up and we cannot afford a house anyway.

They are shallow enough to purchase products that promise they will be physically beautiful while neglecting their spiritual beauty. If have met many that their physical appearances are ugly yet they are the most beautiful souls I have had the privilege to meet. They go out and buy products that run up their credit cards and clothing that is overpriced and they go in debt. Meanwhile those outfits they “Had to have” are sitting in their closets collecting dust. They are slaves to fashion.

I think it is shameful when someone owns a house and they have to rent to storage place because they have too much stuff.

They think buying a certain car will make them happy and cool. I always laugh and ask them if that means they are dorks when they are not in their cars.

It is an empty happiness those whose happiness is found in worldly pleasures.  Joseph- Anthony: Green

You are Not Black, You are White.

“Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow Isaiah 1:18 New King James Version

 

Sin is like the black suite from a filthy chimney.

When you repent Jehovah cleans that filth away like a chimney cleaner cleans the suite from the chimney.

Therefore, you are not black, you are white.

Believe this and stop beating yourself up.

We all make mistakes, welcome to life. But, when we repent those black sins are washed away.

 

Do not believe the lies of satan to beat you down. He does this to drive a wedge between you and Jehovah. Because, if you believe his lies you will be afraid of punishment from the Lord. This hampers you from developing a loving relationship with him and that is satan’s aim.

I know, I used to beat myself up a lot for past sins until I received good Christian counseling and learned to let it go.
