Then they asked Him, “What are we to do, so that we may habitually be doing the works of God?” Jesus answered, “This is the work of God: that you believe [adhere to, trust in, rely on, and have faith] in the One whom He has sent.” John 6:28-29 The Holy Bible Amplified Version
Another word for faith is trust.
How much do you trust Jehovah with your life?
If He asks you to leave a well paying job to live in an impoverished environment with no means of income do you trust Him to supply you with all you need?
Do you trust Him to lead you to the right spouse to share you life with ( and that means man and woman not the filth the liberals ( satanic ) spew with their filthy lies) ?
What if they are not good looking or socially inept or not financially secure? Will you trust Him?
Do you trust Him in death that He will send an angel to take you safely to the other side?
When you are challenged with integrity to do the right thing even though it is going to cost you and you know you will suffer for doing what is right how much do you trust Him then?
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed in a way that awakens more faith]. As it is written and forever remains written, “The just and upright shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17 The Holy Bible Amplified Version
But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 The Holy Bible Amplified Version
God asks us to trust that He loves us… that He is with us this moment… that He rewards those who seek Him… that He will provide in the future as He has in the past… that He is working all things together for our good… that He is directing us and living His life through us… that He continually gives the wisdom we need… that He hears and answers our prayers.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Abba (God our Father) for being so patient with me over the years as You slowly taught me to expand and strengthen my trust in You and to prove me trust in You with my words and actions. I humbly exalt You in the name of He who trusted You all the way to the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.
