This is why it is important not to hang out with those in the world. They can and do set you up to be abused (yes it happens to men as well).                 

Now that is not to say it will happen all the time but the danger is real. It may look cool, it may look fun, you may want to fit in with the in crowd but it will have devastating consequences. Unfortunately I have seen too many lives destroyed by these filth.

That is why if you are going to an event where worldly folks linger ( say you want to go to a school dance, if they still have those things), it is best to go with chaperones that are strong Christians. That is why it is best to congregate with those in Christian fellowship. It is a lot safer and just as if not more rewarding. I used to immensely enjoy myself at summer Christian retreats and music festivals.

The biggest sinners make the best saints. It is because we know how filthy we were before Christ came to wash us clean and forgive us of our sins that we worship and adore Him. We know what we were, we know what He had done to rescue us and we know what He is making us into that causes us to joyfully that we worship and adore Him.

Those who have their noses up in the air being haughty do not have this privilege because they think they are so good and so much better than others that they do not require a Savior. Boy are they in for a surprise on Judgment Day.

I can think of no one with whom I am as close to as my Heavenly Beloved. He is always there, He always cares, He always blesses me with Divine wisdom which prevents much hardship and heart ache in my life. He is always revealing to me the immensity of His Divine love for me. He comforts and encourages me.

And, best of all, when we are in communion with each other there is no one elses love that can even begin to compare with His. He is indeed truly my best friend above all others. No other can even begin to compare with Him.

The spirit (conscience) of man is the lamp of the Lord, Searching and examining all the innermost parts of his being. Proverbs 20:27 Holy Bible Amplified Version

There is no excuse.

The most popular excuse is: “I did not know.” and “It is not my fault.”.

That is a flat out lie.

The Holy Spirit comes to us all, believers and unbelievers alike and speaks to us as to what is right and what it wrong.

The difference is that the wise listen and obey the Holy Spirits advice and avoid a lot of hardship, trouble and sorrows.

The foolish arrogantly ignore it. Indeed, many times they drown Him out with loud music or any thing else to deafen their ears and minds unto Him. The irony is that the Holy Spirits advice for us is for our own good and we ignore it at our own peril as the fools discover the hard way. What is truly amazing is that the fools refuse to learn from the error of their ways and continue on their evil, wicked ways writing off their experiences as “just a coincidence”.

Are You Willing to do It?

                                           

 His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” John 2:5 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Are you willing to do whatever the Holy Spirit moves you to do?

Many times you will not understand the how and or why of His instruction. That is where faith comes in when you step out into the unknown with nothing nor anyone but Him as your guide.

Many times He will ask you to do thing that seem foolish to you but you are to obey.

Many times He will require of things of you that is impossible for you to accomplish.

In each of these instances you may not understand His guidance until after the fact which may be day, weeks, months, years or even until we reach Heaven that we understand His leading. It has certainly been true in every circumstance in my life and it will be in yours as well.

Another truth from my experience is that it most certainly will never be boring.

Prayer: Thank you Holy Spirit Nissi (God is my Banner A banner is like a flag that others follow like in a military charge. It was also used to send signals to the troups.) Gratitude is Not Only

Know and fully recognize with gratitude that the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]. Psalm 100:3” Holy Bible, Amplified Version

Gratitude is described as acknowledgement of having received something good from another.

Yes we are to know that Jehovah made us and not being insulting idiots and believe that we are descended from monkeys. We are to recognize which means we are to have a clear understanding that we are a Divine creation.

To me that fills me with gratitude and meaning.

After all, how many folks go around and wonder why they are here?

I know why I am here. I was created to be blessed with a Divine loving relationship with our Heavenly Father. I am His and He is mine.

In gratitude I am obedient unto His direction in my life. This gives me Divine purpose.

Again, how many folks wonder what their purpose in life is.

I know mine.

It is to serve an amazing King.

For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation]. For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us]. This leads me to a virtuous life.

Virtue means a conduct that conforms to an accepted standard of right and wrong.

Whose standard of what is right or wrong will you trust, Jehovahs or the worlds? Look around at the world and see if you want to live that type of life, I certainly do not.

You Have Never Walked so Far.

                                   

 “Return to Me,” declares the Lord of hosts, “and I shall return to you. Zechariah 1:3 Holy Bible Amplified Version

The Lord is always willing to accept you back into His family once you have repented.

Now to repent means we must admit what we did, admit it was wrong, apologize for it and to stop doing it.

So when you are suffering harshly because of your sin and you say sorry, sorry just to have the punishment lifted you cannot fool Jehovah.

A false apology is worse than no apology. Joseph a son of Jehovah

When you are walking in wickedness Jehovah will speak to you in dreams and visions, in bringing folks to you to convict you of your sinfulness, He will speak to you through songs and in your every day life.

If you stubbornly refuse to listen to Him and turn your back on Him then He will turn His back on you. Then look out.

When you sincerely repent He shall joyously welcome you back into His Holy family. When you return to Jehovah, He will return to you.

You have never walked so far away from Jehovah that He will not welcome you back when you repent. Joseph son of Jehovah

Being Transformed Into

 

And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image. 2 Corinthians 3:18 Holy Bible Amplified Version

When we accept Christ as our Savior and King, He sends the Holy Spirit to transform us from being a dirty filthy rag into a new beautiful Divine creation.

This does not mean that when we accept Christ there will be a hallelujah moment and then we can continue on as we were before.

It does mean a lifetime commitment unto His will in our lives. It means allowing Him to burn off the dross (bad habits and attitudes which hinder our relationship with Him and our maturity in our Christian walk).

Speaking from experience it is not pleasant but you will praise Him for it every day after its completion. It does not mean we are to sit on our butts and expect the Holy Spirit to do all the work. It does mean a lifetime commitment to making the effort ourselves to become Holy children of God. Many times we will be expected to make the effort by ourselves as we mature because that is a process of maturity as well.

My Greatest Gift Ever.

                                          

 When I was a boy my grandma would give me a sweater every year for Christmas. Upon opening it there is disappointment, I wanted a toy. After putting it on however, I refused to take it off. Mom would have to fight with me almost every day because I always wanted to wear it. There was just something special about it that made it inseparable. What was unknown to me in my childhood innocence was that grandma would work on knitting that sweater every day for a month or two and what made it so special was the love she put into creating it. When the sweater was worn the love could be felt in it. It was the best gift ever to this child.

It pales in comparison  however to the greatest gift that is given to everyone free of charge. That gifts name is Jesus.

Jehovah loved us so much He allowed His most loved son to lower Himself to our level just so He would teach us about Jehovah and how to nurture a loving obedient relationship with Him. That was my greatest gift ever given to me by the most loving Father. I thank Him ever so deeply for this cherished gift ever day.

Jehovah loved us so much that even though it ripped His tender heart apart He allowed His beloved son to suffer and die for our sins so that we have the opportunity to become His children. That was my greatest gift ever given to me by my best friend Jesus Christ.

I thank Him ever so deeply for this cherished gift ever day. Jesus loved us so much He left His perfect loving home in Heaven to lower Himself to our level to teach us about our Beloved Father in Heaven. He loved us so much He suffered the most horrible death just so we have the most wonderful gift of all, becoming a child of Jehovah. That was my greatest gift ever given to me by my Savior Jesus Christ. I thank Him ever so deeply for this cherished gift ever day.

Children, this gift is available free to all who are willing to accept it. When you do, you enter into the most fabulous loving relationship there ever was, is and will be.

The Source of My Confidence.

Society is a prison of keeping up phony appearances. To fit in with the “in crowd” you have to act in a way that conforms to what they think is right or wrong. They decide what to wear, what music to watch, what movies to watch and what food to eat.

I do not care what others think of me, I care what Christ knows of me and is making of me. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Who is “they’ you ask?

It is big business disguised as someone wise. I remember a time when these two guys would rate movies and many folks would decide which movies to watch based on their assessment. The strange thing is though, the movies they thought were super great must see movies were boring and duds to me. The movies they panned were the great movies to me. Strange how they were paid by the big movie companies.

I see movie stars and so called musicians commenting on world events like they are so wise yet they are idiots who know nothing. Many folks are just as big of idiots because they take their word for it rather than do research on it. Those of us who do do the research and call them out are called racists, bigots, hemophiliacs, to name just a few.

There are so many that wait in freezing weather and spend exorbitant amounts of money to get the latest mobile phone from a certain company just to feed their ego.

Those of us who are wise have confidence in who we are in Christ. When The Holy Spirit directs our steps it is because the Trinity loves us and desires only what is best for us not to empty our wallets or bend to worshiping them as idols. We have confidence in our Teacher and Guidance Councilor. We have confidence in who we are because we know Jehovah made us this way (that is not to say we are perfect or that we do not need the burning off of the dross- bad habits). We have confidence in what He is molding us into.
