The More Peace You Are
May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. 2 Peter 1:2 The Holy Bible The New Living Translation
Grace in this context means the free and unmerited favour of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.
Favour means assistance.
So, what this verse means is that the more we know Jehovah, the more help He will bless us with which blesses us with peace.
How are we to obtain knowledge of Jehovah?
Try this: begin your day with prayers of gratitude and for knowledge of Jehovah.
Subscribe to daily devotionals like our daily bread, or https://www.5minutediscipleship.com/podcast.html And read them every morning.
Instead of wasting your time watching the idiot box ( TV ) or watching filthy movies or being on social media why not listen to good Christian preachers like Max Lucado, David Jeremiah or Charles Stanley. .
Why not listen to the fantastic encouraging video’s by Grace for Purpose and Above Inspiration before you go to bed.
Why not read one of Gods promises a day and claim it as your own ( you can read them on biblegateway. com- I prefer the new living translation but there are many more to choose from ).
The more time you spend with Jesus, the more peace you are blessed with . Joseph- Anthony a Son of Jehovah

Do You Thank Him For
I sing to the Lord because he has taken care of me. Psalms 13 The Holy Bible The New Century Version
How many times have you sung to Jehovah for His daily care for you?
Do you thank Him for a roof over your head?
I have seen many poor living in one room shacks with no running water, and little heat in sub-zero heat.
Do you thank Him for the clothes on your back?
I have seen many poor that have no shoes, two pairs of pants and two shirts.
Do you thank Him for the food He blesses you with?
I have seen many living off of nothing but beans and rice. I thin slice of meat is a luxury to them.
Do you thank Him for your health?
I have seen many that are like zombies in seniors homes and many that are constantly sick because of poor living conditions.
Do you than Him for your security?
I have lived in area’s where you do not go out at night and in the day time it is a gamble. I have lived where it was common to see dead bodies washed up on the beach in the morning.
Do you thank Him for sending The Holy Spirit to guide you?
He has guided me away from so much danger and so many disasters.
I thank Him with songs of love and gratitude every morning when I wake up, countless times during the day and before bed at night.
How many time in a day do you sing unto Him songs of love and gratitude?
A grateful heart is the most precious gift we can give to He who have given so much to us. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Prospective Choices
Today I can complain because the weather is rainy or I can be thankful that the grass is getting watered for free.
Today I can feel sad that I don’t have more money or I can be glad that my finances encourage me to plan my purchases wisely and guide me away from waste.
Today I can grumble about my health or I can rejoice that I am alive.
Today I can lament over all that my parents didn’t give me when I was growing up or I can feel grateful that they allowed me to be born.
Today I can cry because roses have thorns or I can celebrate that thorns have roses.
Today I can mourn my lack of friends or I can excitedly embark upon a quest to discover new relationships.
Today I can whine because I have to go to work or I can shout for joy because I have a job to do.
Today I can complain because I have to go to school or eagerly open my mind and fill it with rich new tidbits of knowledge.
Today I can murmur dejectedly because I have to do housework or I can feel honored because the Lord has provided shelter for my mind, body and soul.
Today stretches ahead of me, waiting to be shaped. And here I am, the sculptor who gets to do the shaping.
What today will be like is up to me.
I get to choose what kind of day I will have!

Do you worship it more than Him?
“You shall have no other gods before me. “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything Exodus 20:3-4 New International Version
Who or what do you put above God?
Are you more concerned about keeping in physical shape than you are about spending time worshipping God and serving Him? Do you spend as much time with your Bible as you do at the gym?
How about your car? Do you take better care of your car than you do the needs of the needy? Do you spend more time with your career than you do serving God?
Are not these things images that are more important to you than God?
I live a very simple life.
Spending time every morning reading Gods love letter and instruction manual, the Bible, is the most important time of my day.
I know that when I do even the simplest good deed I do so as an act of honour to God. It makes the receivers of the act very happy, makes God happy and therefore makes me happy.
I see people who worship idols of movie stars, sports stars, music stars, keeping up with the Jones as very empty shells of women and men. They have no real meaning or purpose in their lives and feel pity got them. They only experience shallow happiness at best.
If only they would worship the true God they would experience great joy in their lives.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Yahweh (God of His people) for the most wonderful blessing. That of worshipping a marvelous God such as You. It brings the greatest fulfillment and joy to my life.I give thanks in the name above all names Jesus Christ. Amen.
May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ precious love bless you today and every day.
The Attitude of Christ
“Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5).
The Christian faith of the first century of Christianity was centered on the person and work of Jesus Christ. The preeminence of Christ was the focus of the early preaching in the church. Christianity is Christ, and as in many other passages, Philippians 2:5-11 makes this emphatically clear.
Even before His incarnation, Jesus was in the form of God and was equal to God. Jesus Christ eternally possesses all of God’s attributes. He is God. “He existed in the form of God” (v. 6), is not referring to a bodily appearance, but is a strong way of proclaiming the deity of Jesus Christ. His deity never alters or changes.
Jesus, in His high priestly prayer the night before His crucifixion, referred to His “glory which I even had with You before the world was” (John 17:5). He was referring to the glory He enjoys on par with His heavenly Father. The apostle John wrote of this same pre-incarnate glory in John 1:1-4, 14.
The event that staggers the mind almost beyond comprehension is the fact that the Second Person of the Trinity laid aside the manifestation of His divine glory and took upon Himself the form of a common household slave. He became flesh. He is the God-man. He was fully God and fully man. He is God in the flesh. The Word became flesh, and pitched His tent in our very midst, testifies the apostle John (1:14,18). The one who enjoyed glory that was inherently His throughout eternity past “did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men” (v. 7).
Jesus Christ exists eternally as the Second Person of the Godhead, and as such He is equal with God the Father. Everything the LORD God Almighty is, so is the Lord Jesus Christ.
Before He became flesh, Jesus Christ shared to the full the divine nature and was clothed with the splendor that always surrounded God’s person. He was identical with God both inwardly and outwardly. When Jesus became flesh, what remained was God’s glory in the inward sense because even in His flesh Jesus was God and retained that full divine nature.
The Second Person of the Godhead Jesus Christ was not selfish. He did not cling to the outward glory of His deity, “But emptied Himself,” not of His divinity, but the outward visible manifestation of it. He did not consider equality with God something to be grasped. He made nothing of Himself. He was obedient to His heavenly Father as a bond-slave. He only limited Himself of His outward visible glory because He was still God.
In addition to being God, Jesus took on “the form of a bond servant.”
The essential attributes of God were unchangeable and unchanging. The essential nature of Jesus Christ is the same as the essential nature of God. The nature of Jesus is the nature of God. The “form” signifies that which in God never alters and never changes.
Jesus laid aside His divine privileges and became the servant of Jehovah. The Son of God became the Servant of God. “And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross” (v. 8).
Jesus Christ gave up the glory and honor of heaven to become one of us so He could die as our substitute and provide a means whereby God could offer us eternal life. “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree” (Galatians 3:13).
No one with a spiritually discerning mind can read those words without a deep sense of thanksgiving gratitude for a humble and obedient Savior. “Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5). He was humble and obedient even unto death.
Do you have this humble attitude of Jesus? When we have that attitude toward ourselves, we will, “Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others” (Philippians 2:3-4). That is the mind of Christ in the Christian. It is a humble attitude of denying self, bearing the cross of Christ daily, and doing the will of God at all costs.Selah!

We Must Never Forget That
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. John F. Kennedy
Unlocks the Fullness of Life.
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.” Melody Beattie
I Devote Myself To
Today I devote myself to prayer.
To devote yourself means to make a commitment.
Right after I wake up very morning I devote myself to prayer.
To devote myself to pray and say good morning I love you to those that are nearest to my heart: Jehovah, Jesus and The Holy Spirit.
To devote myself for thanking them for watching over me while I slept.
To devote myself to thank them for a good nights sleep.
To devote myself to ask them for guidance throughout the day.
To devote myself to thanking them throughout the day for all the abundant blessings they give me both big and small.
To devote myself to praying to them and repenting when I do wrong and guide me on how to make it right if I have offended them or others.
To devote myself to praying to them and thanking them for walking with me through out the day.
I pray with complete confidence they enjoy listening to me and indeed answering me. I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray. Psalms 17:6 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation
So, for all of you that are curious why I am almost always happy ( even when it seems like everything is going to Hell in a hand cart ) , now you know the reason why.
Yes, there are times of sadness, pain and or fear but when I devote myself to talking it out with Jesus, He always blesses me with peace and confidence that everything is under His control. And, because He loves me, everything is going to be all right.
Why not give it a try every day for a month and see how much your life transforms for the better?

The Best Therapy For
Do not worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks. And God’s peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 The Holy Bible The New Century Version
I have found that beginning each prayer request with praise for the gifts Poppa has given me has been the best therapy for worry, fear or aggravation. By the time I finish praising Poppa my confidence in Him strengthens me, calms me and assures me everything is in His steady hands.
There is no need to worry or be afraid because He has whatever is agitating us covered.
There is no need to be aggravated because either He will solve the problem for us or teach us how to master it ourselves or with the help of The Holy Spirit.
It is something I really do not understand but am deeply grateful for.
When we learn to give thanks first most of our distresses melts away like a snowman in the Sahara desert at noon. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah
Christ’s peace means: p–e-a–c–e… place each aggravation at Christ’s feet…expectantly!
Prayer: Oh my precious Jehovah Jireh (Genesis 22:14 The LORD Shall Provide ) may I always have my hand out in gratitude for Your generous gifts You have abundantly blessed me with before I have my hand out asking for more. I humbly ask this in the name of He who had His two hands out on a cross to bless me with eternal salvation Jesus Christ. Amen
