Unlocks the Fullness of Life.

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”  Melody Beattie

I Devote Myself To

Today I devote myself to prayer.

To devote yourself means to make a commitment.

Right after I wake up very morning I devote myself to prayer.

To devote myself to pray and say good morning I love you to those that are nearest to my heart: Jehovah, Jesus and The Holy Spirit.

To devote myself for thanking them for watching over me while I slept.

To devote myself to thank them for a good nights sleep.

To devote myself to ask them for guidance throughout the day.

To devote myself to thanking them throughout the day for all the abundant blessings they give me both big and small.

To devote myself to praying to them and repenting when I do wrong and guide me on how to make it right if I have offended them or others.

To devote myself to praying to them and thanking them for walking with me through out the day.

I pray with complete confidence they enjoy listening to me and indeed answering me. I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray. Psalms 17:6 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

So, for all of you that are curious why I am almost always happy ( even when it seems like everything is going to Hell in a hand cart ) , now you know the reason why.

Yes, there are times of sadness, pain and or fear but when I devote myself to talking it out with Jesus, He always blesses me with peace and confidence that everything is under His control. And, because He loves me, everything is going to be all right.

Why not give it a try every day for a month and see how much your life transforms for the better?

The Best Therapy For

Do not worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks. And God’s peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 The Holy Bible The New Century Version

I have found that beginning each prayer request with praise for the gifts Poppa has given me has been the best therapy for worry, fear or aggravation. By the time I finish praising Poppa my confidence in Him strengthens me, calms me and assures me everything is in His steady hands.

There is no need to worry or be afraid because He has whatever is agitating us covered.

There is no need to be aggravated because either He will solve the problem for us or teach us how to master it ourselves or with the help of The Holy Spirit.

It is something I really do not understand but am deeply grateful for.

When we learn to give thanks first most of our distresses melts away like a snowman in the Sahara desert at noon. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Christ’s peace means:  pe-ace… place each aggravation at Christ’s feet…expectantly!

Prayer: Oh my precious Jehovah Jireh (Genesis 22:14 The LORD Shall Provide ) may I always have my hand out in gratitude for Your generous gifts You have abundantly blessed me with before I have my hand out asking for more. I humbly ask this in the name of He who had His two hands out on a cross to bless me with eternal salvation Jesus Christ. Amen

Abide in the Holy Spirit

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come the disciples realized why Jesus ascended up into heaven. He left them in order that He might be with each one of them in a more intimate relationship.

The Holy Spirit came to fulfill the ministry of Jesus Christ. “I am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly,” Jesus said (John 10:10b). He indwells so that He can reproduce the character and likeness of Jesus Christ within the born again believer. He continues to do and teach all that Jesus began to do and teach when He was here on the earth (John 14:2615:2616:13-17).

He longs for us to respond to His love and make ourselves available to Him to live His life in and through us (1 Cor. 3:16-17).

What does the Spirit find in the temple of our body? Too often the temple looks like a desecrated shrine, unkempt, unclean, and perhaps even defiled.

We grieve Him, and quench His fiery presence by our attitudes and behaviors. The Holy Spirit is always ready to use us, and longs to make us His instruments of grace and mercy to a lost world. How tragic when we deny Him His rightful place in our hearts?

We have each learned again and again that our God is the God of a second chance. How grateful we are that He “will restore the years the locust has eaten” (Joel 2:25). “This is the everlasting mercy,” says Fitch. “He gave us another chance of doing what we have failed to do” (p. 125).

We abide in Him as we die daily to self-love and reckon to be dead unto sin and alive to God.

Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily, and follow Me” (Luke 9:23).

We usually treat ourselves as if we are the only ones of significant value, the most important person in the world. Instead of Jesus being our most valued person, we make ourselves the priority. Jesus said we must die to self-love and make Him our first love.

The apostle Paul applied this great truth to the believer when he wrote, “Even so consider [be constantly counting upon the fact, reckon] yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus” (Romans 6:11).

As we daily die to sin and self and reckon upon Jesus we abide in Him. This is the vital ministry of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. This is an important aspect of our spiritual growth.

God is with us and in us by the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit. Our responsibility is to make ourselves available to Him. He will take us and cleanse us and use us to fulfill His eternal purpose in and through us.

The Holy Spirit has come to fulfill the ministry of Jesus Christ. He does that in those individuals who have believed on Christ and who make themselves available to the Spirit without reserve. Allow the Spirit of holiness the freedom to apply the blood of Jesus to keep on cleansing us daily, moment by moment from all sin. Permit Him to apply it to your conscience daily and serve the Lord with the fullness of His Spirit. We walk in the light with Him and abide in His presence, as we allow the blood of Jesus to cleanse us from all sin. As a result the Holy Spirit strengthens our conscience and deepens our faith in Christ. In doing so we give Him the freedom to use us to His glory.

When we are cleansed and restored daily we keep short agendas with God and the Spirit keeps our hearts tender to the slightest whisper of His will. The Holy Spirit gives us a sensitivity to the disquiet when we are tempted to sin or not walk by faith. He makes us hate sin as God hates sin, and realize that sin breaks our fellowship with God. As Charles Wesley wrote, “Ah give me, Lord, the tender heart that trembles at the approach of sin.” And may He constantly remind us that the only way to restoration of that abiding fellowship is the cleansing blood of Jesus.

Keep your heart tender toward Him and He will abide in you and you in Him.Selah!

And Thank Him

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Prayer without having thanks included in it is like the greedy always saying gimme, gimme, gimme without saying thank you. Why would Jehovah even listen to such a selfish request? Joseph- Anthony a Son of Jehovah

As a result, their minds became

Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. Romans 1:20-21 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

If we do not respect nor give thanks to Jehovah with our daily lives we move away from Him and toward satan. Joseph- Anthony a Son of Jehovah

Jehovah Blesses Us with So Many

I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart. I will tell all the miracles you have done. Psalms 9:1 The Holy Bible The New Century Version

When you begin and end your day with prayers saying thank you to Jehovah for all the blessing He has abundantly given you that day you begin to become more and more sensitive to them. This causes you to praise Poppa continually through out the day.

It even enlightens you to the fact that good comes out of bad which means no matter how bad an event there is always something in it to praise Jehovah for.

As well you become more sensitive to the miracles Jehovah preforms so many times in your life that you would otherwise not have been aware of.

They do not have to be earth shattering but can be simple ones like say you trip and are heading straight for a crash through a glass door when suddenly you regain your composure. It can be when you are narrowly missed by a car running a red light. It can be waking up cured of some disease like a horrible cold. This list is endless.

Jehovah blesses us with so many miracles throughout the day that we are not even aware of unless we are walking close with Him. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh ( God provides Philippians 4:19 ) for blessing me with abundant blessings of miracles both big and small. Thank you for the ones I see and the once that go unnoticed. I thank you in the name of Your most special blessing, Jesus Christ. Amen

Jesus Carries The

The Lord deserves praise. Day after day he carries our burden, the God who delivers us. Psalms 68:19 The Holy Bible The New Century Version

Just remember this: Jesus loves me this I know, Jesus cares about me this I know, Jesus is always there to help me, this I know.

Now, because You know these facts how grateful are you towards Him?

Do you praise Him during the day when He comes to our aid?

Do you praise Him at the end of the day for all He has done for you through out the day?

Jesus’ shoulders are more powerful than. Atlas’.

Atlas was a myth while Christ is real.

Jesus carries the worries, fears, sorrows and pain of all His children when they call out to Him.

Who can love like that? Does He not deserve praise every day?

Do you?

A benefit of praising Jesus is that it makes your heart dance with joy. Another benefit is that it draws you ever closer to Him in a loving relationship. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah El SIMCHAH GIYL (God my Exceeding Joy John 15:11 ) for making my heart dance with exceeding joy for all of Your help in all of my challenging situations. I praise You in the name of He who helped so many when He walked amongst us, Jesus Christ. Amen
