We Will Never Understand It.

 For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God;not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation]. We will never understand it. How Jehovah in His amazing love allowed His most cherished Son to be humiliated, beaten, tortured, mocked and allowed to die an agonizing death and be cast into hell for three days because of His awesome love for us.

Most of us were less than holy when He graciously came to us, indeed many of us were downright scoundrels.

In the world you have to earn it if you want it (except of course in “liberal” societies were the bums expect the government to do everything for them because of the “you owe me” attitude which is destroying some many societies in the world today). Yet Jehovah, in His miraculous love, came unto us with such an fabulous offer that we would be insane to refuse.

This, of course, is not just salvation but also an astounding love affair of which is impossible to match anywhere else. As we progress in this relationship he slowly burns off the dross (sometimes he expels destructive addictions and behaviour on His own and some times He walks through it with it with us) to mold us into a truly new creation. Those that formerly new us are stunned and confused about the change. Of course this process will continue until we reach our heavenly home. As a result our love, respect and admiration for Him is constantly expanding.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Heseh (God is love) for the most wonderful blessing of Your magnificent gift of grace unto a undeserving child such as I. Every day I pray for Jehovah to bless me with opening my eyes to all His blessings great and small. Joseph- Anthony: Green

When I do this my attitude is one of gratefulness and this creates a happy disposition in my daily life that flows out to those around me. Many times it brings light into anothers darkened day. They in turn share it with others. You may be surprised at just how much your positive attitude can change the environment you are in whether that be at school work or in society ( like on public transit). Now, the older we get the more deep wounds we have in our hearts from those who have abused us.

The devil will use these to play over and over again in your mind to steal away your happiness.

When this happens, why not pray for Jehovah to help you focus your thoughts on your amazing love affair with Him.

This is a blessing that must be asked for daily and be appreciated in the evening time with bed time prayers of gratitude unto the giver of these blessings.

Prayer: Please Jehovah-Bara (The Lord Creator) bless me with creating a daily attitude and behaviour of gratitude for all the numerous blessing You abundantly graciously give me every day. Bless me with concentrating upon Your love to heal the deep wounds that have been inflicted upon my heart so that it will be filled with Your divine love to be shared with others through out the day today and every day. Only if You Let It.

I am a caregiver for my elderly mother. She is extremely stubborn and independent. Because of health reasons she has lost a lot of her independence. This causes a lot of friction between us. Many times I feel like I am going to explode and I have to get away from her. The only thing to calm me down is a cigarette. As well she is stubborn and refuses to listen to listen to anyone. She is right and the whole world is wrong (even though she does not know what she is talking about). Then when things go south she always blames everyone but herself. I go almost a month without smoking and then she gets into one of her moods and look out. Then I need a cigarette and we do not talk with each other for a few days.

This has been going on for three years. Each time I prayed for wisdom on how to handle her and then read an article on how a man was stressed out and was told that the reason for his stress was because only if you let it stress you out it will.

Now that sounds reasonable but then how do you handle the situation?

Later while reading the Bible this verse suck out to me: Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee. Holy Bible , American Standard Version

It makes perfect sense.

When stress comes I remove myself from the situation and allow it to drive me to my knees where I belong in prayer.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Machsi – Lord my Refuge for blessing me with the privilege of entering into Your holy sanctuary where You bless me with peace, healing, comfort and fortitude to carry on in my duties (duty is an act of love) to You and my mother. I praise You in the name of the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ. Amen.

Cleavet After a year and a half mom has now settled down and our relationship has improved tremendously. She has even begun to go to church again for the first time in about forty years. The lord has taught me how to deal with stress. Mom has not smoked in about a year and I rarely smoke now (I am confident one day my Lord will permanently smash this chain of addiction)

Joy to the Heart.

The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. Psalm 19:8 New International Version

The laws of Jehovah are right and they bring joy to our hearts when we are obedient unto them. This is because there is no doubt or guilt about our actions. He guides us in our interactions with others. This is all encompassing including our families, classmates, co-workers and everybody else in society. When we ask for Divine action in every aspect of our community He guides us in the proper etiquette to be taken.

The benefits of this are that there is a lot of peace in our lives instead of hate, resentment, bitterness anger and self pity. There is a lot less depression in our lives because we have the gentle strong love of Christ saturating our hearts blessing us with Divine peace. There is a lot less confusion in our lives because He guides us with Holy inspiration which is the ultimate in Holy Guidance.

As well, they bring us into closer communion with Him.

When we begin to obey Jehovahs commands in every aspect of our lives with our relationship with Him He opens our eyes to the right path to take in every aspect of our lives that is pleasing unto Him. He guides us in how to obey him, how to worship Him and how to love Him.

The end result in this is a life filled with love, joy, mental and physical health (yes we suffer health problems just like those in the world but we have the rock solid foundation of His love, joy and wisdom in or hearts which emulates unto others) gracefulness, meekness and humbleness. This quality is rewarded with bringing in others who are receptive to desiring such a Heavenly relationship in their lives.

He Hears You.

O You who hear prayer. Psalm 65:2 New King James Version

When you pray you are not praying to a dead idol made of wood or metal or some make believe fellow like Santa Claus or to dead souls, like the saints. That is foolishness.

Instead with reverence, love and sincerity pray to the living God whose throne is in Heaven.

He hears your cry when suffering sorrow. He blesses you with answers that give reassurance and healing.

He hears your cry when you need help. He answers with protection and resources to conquer your adversary.

He hears your cry when you are alone and feel dejected. He blesses you with filling you with His Divine love, comfort and encouragement. He hears your cry when you need guidance in your life. He blesses you with resources and guidance councilors to show you the path you must take.

He hears your cry when you are remorseful He not only forgives you but guides you in the proper manner to reconcile with the one you have done wrong. This blesses you with peace in your spirit.

He hears your cry when you need to learn something. He blesses you with wise teachers and mentors that reveal the knowledge you need.    And of course it is with pure delight he hears your song of praise for His love. To Him that is the sweetest song that ever exists. Of course when we are in a loving relationship we delight in sharing with the one we love how much we love them.

He cherishes your prayer of thank you when He blesses you. That is the respectful thing to do is it not? When you help someone does it not feel good when they thank you? How much more than should we thank our Beloved Father in Heaven when He blesses us?

You do not need to make an appointment and he is never too busy. Jehovah is always there, Jehovah always cares. Joseph- Anthony: Green

When you continuously continue in a weakness (like being short tempered) He does not become exasperated with you and give up on you. When you honesty are repentant and humbly ask for forgiveness He will forgive you and thousand times a thousand.

Thank you for Your blessings of Your Hoy love, strength, wisdom, comfort and encouragement as Your never end provisions. When I was working on an oil rig one winter in the far north we had the awesome experience of being surrounded by the Northern Lights. They just seemed to perform a deathly quiet gentle ballet all around us.

It was truly awesome.

Who do you think created those magnificent lights?

Jehovah did.He is truly awesome.

When I bicycled through a desert in Southern California it seemed as if the stars were so close to me I could reach out and touch them. It felt as if I was in space floating around them.

It was truly awesome.

In the morning it was as quiet as a morgue. The red buttes seemed like long fingers of blood slowly reaching out to me.

When camping in the Baja in Mexico every evening the sun would just hang in the sky and then slowly drift behind an island out to sea. The sea became a kaleidoscope of brilliant colours.

When in Hong Kong I saw the sunrise slowly above some islands out at sea. The waves were like soft gentle waves of brilliant a kaleidoscope. It felt as if it was drawing me in to them.

After an ice storm I love to walk through the forest when the sun comes out. The branches glisten like diamonds and the forest is eerily quiet with the only sound being your foot steps crunching the ice covered ground.

In the spring time I love to walk through cheery or apple orchards in the early morning. The sweet delicate fragrance of the blossoms is truly intoxicating.

Have You Received This Abundant Free Gift Yet?

Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. 2 Peter 1:1-4  New International Version

This is the abundant precious gift Jehovah gives all who receive Christ as their savior and live by Gods Law.

Now what is grace?

Isn’t that incredible?  Jehovah is always there to help us and there is nothing too big or complicated for Him to handle. He loves to shower us with His Divine kindness.

And, we can have it too. It just takes accepting Jesus as our Savior.

What is peace?

Peace : a state of tranquillity or quiet: as a: freedom from civil disturbance b:a state of security or order within a community

: freedom from disquieting or oppressive thoughts or emotions

: harmony in personal relations

These are all provided in generous amounts when we enjoy a loving obedient relationship with Christ. He will bless us with His Divine peace in the roughest of storms and quiet us in His cherished love, comfort, strength and encouragement.

What is Devine?

relating to or coming from God or a god

very good

When we are blessed with a loving obedient relationship coming from Jehovah is it so much more than just good and there are no words to describe it.

Why do You Think That Is?

The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. John 14:17 New King James Version

Why do you think that is?

Why do you think the world does not see the Holy Spirit nor knows Him?

I do not believe the world cannot see the Holy Spirit but rather rejects His work.

How many folks see a beautiful sunrise or sunset and give credit to “Mother Nature”?

Do they truly believe there is such a thing as “Mother Nature” or would they prefer to give credit to some fictitious creation of man rather than give credit to Jehovah?

How many are so busy worshipping “idols” like music stars, sports stars or movie stars rather than worship Jehovah. Because of this they ignore His amazing music like crickets or thunder or the soft serenade of waves lapping at the shore. Because of this they cannot see the handiwork of the Holy Spirit.

Can you think of any other ways folks ignore the works of the Holy Spirit when He is so visible all around them?

 

Now we are different.

When we accept Christ in our lives we feel the joy that can only be felt by the Holy Spirit. We feel Him inside of us.

How many times does He convict us when we go wrong?

How many times does He reassure us during the storms of our lives?

The Holy Spirit is my guidance councilor, teacher, comforter, healer, strengthener, provider and protector. Joseph- Anthony: Green Think about each of these titles and then think of how the Holy Spirit has accomplished each of these in your lives.

Why not remember that and thank Him in your morning and evening prayers?

I do.

He has accomplished amazing things in my life and through my life. There were so many events in my life (especially through the trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares) that I would never have made it with out Him.

 

Whenever I try to share this with those in the world they laugh and me like I was crazy but we will see who is crazy on the judgment day. That is because they do not see Him nor know Him.

But, we do, don’t we?

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Immanuel (God is with us) for the amazing blessing of the Holy Spirit who has so graciously revealed You in so many awesome ways in my life. Thank you the most treasured guidance councilor, teacher, comforter, healer, strengthener, provider and protector ever. I praise You in the name of He who made this blessing possible with His blood on the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.

They Have Increased.

When we are Christians there is no shortage of tormentors who love to intentionally antagonize us. They are constant thorns in our sides serving their god, Satan. They laugh and foolishly believe they are getting away with it. For a while it seems as if they are but then Jehovah strikes suddenly and terribly. I have seen it numerous times. When we go to bed and pray to our Beloved about the unwarranted affliction our persecutors are throwing our way He not only hears us but blesses us with peace and a good nights sleep (which antagonizer   rarely experience). This is what always happens to me.

Be not afraid of them for they are this way because they are living a miserable life and want to drag everybody they can into that miserable lifestyle with them.

I pray for them and inform them of such. That torments them. I do not do it to torment them but to reconcile with them if possible (and most times it is not because of their disposition). They end up leaving me alone.

Beware, Jehovah does not take kindly to those who abuse His children and how great your suffering will be. Joseph- Anthony: Green
