To Have Gotten up A

I am grateful The Holy Spirit suggested going down an old trail I have not been on for many years. There was fields of beautiful wild flowers that were dug up and transplanted in the garden.

I am grateful to have gotten up a steep dirt incline from the trail. A couple of times the scooter had to be pushed up.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit suggested going into this woodworking plant area. The owner gave me huge bags of sawdust to use on the front garden The Holy Spirit is guiding me to build.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit suggested going to a certain quiet place every day with meditation verse to spend quiet time with the Trinity

To be Polite But

I am grateful The Holy Spirit reminded to be polite but formal with Jezebels support worker that gives her her bath. She keeps on wanting to talk about a topic that upsets me. Another covert narcissist I suppose.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit reminded me to take Snowball out to the sun room. It has been a while since he has been out there ( yesterday he was pretty much out of it because of his meds, today he is much more alert and thoroughly enjoying it ).

I am grateful The Holy Spirit reminded to make terraces in the back garden.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit reminded to use old blankets and the put mulch on top of them for weed suppressors in the garden

I am grateful for a man I always talk with on the trails while he walks his dog and I get mulch. About three days ago I lost one of my gloves. It was not found when searched for it on the trail. Today he informed me he found it and was keeping it until he saw me. That was very nice of him.

My Heart Dances With

I am grateful The Holy Spirit spoke to me and suggested cuddling with Snowball four times a day.

As he snuggles up in my arms The Holy Spirit reminds me that Snowball represents me and I represent Jesus.

As Snowball finds peace, love and comfort in my loving arms so too do I find peace, love and comfort in Jesus’ loving arms.

Now when I look at Snowball snuggling up in my arms my heart dances with joy , love and appreciation for my loving Jesus and it is a special time between Snowball and me.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit suggested straining off the curry sauce from the Chinese take out yesterday and putting it in the freezer. It is being used for home made chicken soup today in the slow cooker

Able to Give The

I am grateful Snowball is okay now. I gave him is meds yesterday morning and he was sonked out until this morning. I think its the meds

I am grateful to have been able to give the garbage man his belated Christmas gift

I am grateful I kept my self control when Jezebel went off this morning over nothing

I am grateful the roast turned out so good in the slow cooker

I go on a Month

I am grateful The Holy Spirit has suggested I go on a month fast of fruit juice, soy milk and yogourt and vegetables.

I am grateful Snowball is my snuggle kitty now. He likes to snuggle with me under the blanket at night I am grateful The Holy Spirit has suggested a daily routine for me to follow

I am grateful The Holy Spirit reminded me to make a get well card for the neighbour. She had a bad fall and is in a lot of pain. The card can mean a lot to her. I know they are bad neighbours but I believe if we have the opportunity to do good we are to do it

I am grateful The Holy Spirit has suggested a way to pile the pillows to support my neck so there is no stiff neck or pain in my shoulder

Two Days of Flames Shooting Up

I am grateful Snowball has not had any seizures in three days,

I am grateful the sciatic nerve has not been inflamed and I can walk after two days of flames shooting up the leg into the brain.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit has instilled a sense of calm and piece through out this whole boon doggle.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit inspired a sense of peace and love that enveloped my whenever I was in the sanctuary the last few days

I am grateful for all the polite men and women met this week that were kind enough to hold the door open for me so I can get into and out of stores who do not have the proper door openers for scooters

Do Not Forget to Show

Where do you think you will meet them?

Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Hebrews 13:2 The Holy Bible The New International Version.

Now where do you think you are going to meet an angel?

Do you think they are going to walk up to you and ask you to go have a hamburger with them?

They are not only here to help you but to be helped by you.

Maybe it could be somebody that is lost and asks for directions; maybe it could be a lonely elderly man on the bus. Who knows where or when you will meet an angel.

One time a man asked for money because he lost his passport and bank card. The embassy was closed and he couldn’t get any help. He said he stayed in an all night restaurant for two nights. Of course he could not speak the language and it was dangerous to tell anybody you were in trouble anyway. I contacted the person he came to meet in another city and then paid his train fare and enough money for a meal. This meant I was going to be eating instant soup for my three weeks because I gave him my meal money.

As he accepted the money he looked into my eyes and said:” You are blessed in Heaven for your kindness.” It wasn’t like a thank you but from someone with direct knowledge. It was rather spooky.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Chanan (God is gracious) teach me to have as gracious a heart with all I meet today as You have been so kindly gracious to me. I ask in the name of He who showed grace when He walked here Jesus Christ. Amen.

I am grateful it did not rain out today like it was forecast to

I am grateful for programs to make movies for mom to watch

I am grateful for idea’s on how to make the raised gardens into portable greenhouses for the spring

I am grateful for all the cuddle times with Snowball

I am grateful The Holy Spirit guided me on how to clean all the unused programs from the computer and free up a huge amount of memory.

I am grateful for all the kind men and women that hold the door open for me when I go into stores. Many times the automatic doors are too small so both door must be open. I can do it but it is just heart warming to see such kindness ( although this is common in small towns ).

A Little Brother Just Asked

A little brother just asked his big brother “Why are people so nice to the people who are about to die?”

His big brother told him that we want to make their last few moments on earth happy.

The little brother asked, “Everyone dies a little everyday and sometimes we don’t know when a person is gonna die, so why isn’t everyone always nice, because we never know what’s gonna happen to someone.”
