It Could be Intentional or Unintentional.

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23-24, New International Version).

Yes we need The Holy Spirit to come and convict us of any offensive way in us.

It could be intentional or unintentional.

Having lived in many cultures I discovered many things which are normal to those of my country are considered rude in another country. The Holy Spirit educated me about these and I was sensitive to them while living in that country. So something offensive may not in of itself be bad but sometimes offensive to another.

On the other hand there may be times when we have sinned and refuse to repent. The Holy Spirit will come and convict us of these and encourage us to take responsibility of them.

Be fair warned: if you refuse to listen to and obey The Holy Spirits conviction you will pay the price and it is always a nasty price to pay.

The Holy Spirit does not convict us to give us a guilt trip but rather to correct us and help us make what was wrong right. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Oh how true this is today just like it was back then.

I have heard many in churches say Amen at the right time. I have seen many take notes during a sermon. At the end of the sermon when you talk with them, they do nothing but praise the preacher and his sermon. When they are asked how they will put this into practice they look at you as if you were insane, make some stupid comment and walk away from you as if you have the plague.

Many , many times when The Holy Spirit speaks with me He tells me things I do not want to hear. Sometimes we will “ debate “ for over a week but He knows my heart and that I will surrender to His will. I not only listen but obey. One is just as important as the other.

There are two types of Christians. One type likes to listen to the pretty sermons and sing the fun songs but make no commitment to obeying Christ’s leading. They are the majority. The other type are the type that go to church to hear the word of the Lord and put it into practice what He is saying to them. We are the minority Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Have ever met any of the “ I know what I am doing” crowd?

They refuse to listen to anyone and they hate it when you correct them. They are very arrogant, stubborn and down right stupid. Then when disasters hit, they blame anyone and everyone but themselves. They are walking disasters going from one catastrophe to another.

What is really sad is seeing these pitiful creatures when they are old.

Their bodies and minds are destroyed from their stupidity in their younger years.

They are bitter and hate the world. If they ever smiled it would crack their faces. They are lonely and gloomy. You can feel the heaviness in their soul every time you are around them. They are Mr. and Ms. Doom and Gloom. Nobody wants to be around them. This happens one hundred percent of them time.

The stupid men and women think they know everything and will listen to no one. They are walking disasters. The wise men and women listen to wise advice, do as instructed and are grateful for the help. Their life is not as troublesome. Which one are you? Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Only Jesus Can Offer True

When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the obligation to do right. And what was the result? You are now ashamed of the things you used to do, things that end in eternal doom. Only Jesus can offer true freedom from sins prison.

We are all born with bad dispositions. They are inherited from the biological family.

So some are biological alcoholics. One drink and it is over for them. When they become drunks they only way to free them from this horrible addiction is by the power of Jesus. I know because that description fits me.

Then there are social addictions. You see it in the filth of TV shows, movies and listen to it on the radio about how premarital sex is fun.

Then because you want to fit into society you participate in it to your ruin.

That is when we need Jesus to free us from that group of sinners and bring us into a group of His brothers and sisters.

Following the crowd always ends up in Hell for your final destination. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Now, once we have been freed from our destructive dispositions we are to stay away from them because if we do not, we will end up in the same filth all over again.

This is hard to do.

That is why we need the help and power of The Holy Spirit to help us.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Mephalti (The Lord my Deliverer Psalm 18:2 ) for blessing me with delivering me from destructive addiction which were making my life a living Hell. Thank you for blessing me with the wisdom and strength to conquer those which I could. Your freedom is the second best gift You have ever blessed me with ( the first one of course is Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross ) . I praise You in the name of He whose blood delivered me from the damnation of Hell, Jesus Christ. Amen

Always Attracts a Few That

May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine on us—so that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations (Psalm 67:1-2, New International Version).

The reason that Jehovahs blessing makes us shine is because we have the power of The Holy Spirit shine with in us. We stick out like a light house beam on a cold dark evening.

We are different from those around us, which is extremely difficult.

The reason it is difficult is because we are ostracized by those around us if. We are treated as if we had the plague. We have a bullseye on us by the narcissists as easy targets to bully and abuse. They enjoy making us suffer.

But, through it all, our mannerism always attracts a few that are open to accepting Christ.

This makes all of the hardships worth while.

Yes our Christian lifestyle makes us targets for the wicked but also magnets for those open to accepting Christ. The latter more than makes up for the first part. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

We Need to Sincerely Ask For

You, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high (Psalm 3:3, New International Version).

Every day we need to sincerely ask for The Holy Spirit to be a shield around us before we even get out of bed. There are plenty of wolves looking to destroy us without warning. That is why we need The Holy Spirit’s protection like a shield that will protect us from the fiery darts hurled at us ( which is false accusations and cruel insults ).

We also need The Holy Spirit to guide us in the proper manner in which to reply to these vicious attacks.

When we defend ourselves with dignity, respect and wisdom that brings glory unto Jehovah and attracts others to Him though our actions.

Instead of hanging our heads when the wicked attack us we hold our head high in dignity and respect.

We need The Holy Spirits shield every day to protect us when attacked by satans minions. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah
