If They Did Not Repent.

 The Lord gave this message to Jonah son of Amittai:  “Get up and go to the great city of Nineveh. Announce my judgment against it because I have seen how wicked its people are.” Jonah 1: 1-2 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Nineveh was not an unknown city to Jonah. They were arch enemies of both the Israelite’s and of Jehovah. The two countries deeply hated each other and were many times at war with each other. They treated each others captives very cruelly. I am sure some of Jonahs family and friends suffered at the Ninevite’s hands.

Now imagine Jehovah commanding a Jew who had family and friends suffer at the hands of the Nazi’s and Jehovah commanding him to go up and tell the Nazi’s if they do not repent they will be destroyed. That is what it was like for Jehovah to command Jonah to go to Nineveh and warn them of the coming destruction if they did not repent.

Okay, now let us make it more personal.

Imagine if Jehovah commanded you to go up and share Jesus with someone who has abused you or cheated you or made you suffer horribly in any other manner, and inform them if they did not repent of their ways they would be condemned to Hell for eternity.

Would you do it?

Although sometimes obeying Jehovahs commands may be like swallowing a turd sideways we, as His children are to be obedient unto Him. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Many times Jehovah will command us to do things which are repugnant to us but has eternal consequences for those He is sending us to.

No where do we see the Ninevite’s and Israelite’s becoming best buddies or and other change in the disposition between the two enemies. I believe there will be little change in the disposition between the two belligerents of today either .

Prayer: Please Jesus Melech Olam (Psalms 10:16 The LORD King Forever ) bless this humble servant of Your to always be obedient unto His masters calling no matter how unpleasant it is. I sincerely request this in Your majestic name. Amen

We All Have Them

 You may be sure that your sin will find you out. Numbers 32:23 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

We all have them dark sins that we do not want anybody to find out because it will bring us great shame. It is habitual sin, habits that we know are wrong but we are addicted to. They are not life altering sins but annoying little pests. They need to be consistently repented of or else they will become cancerous and slowly destroy us.

I believe Jehovah allows these to keep us humble. Another reason is to keep us grateful for such a forgiving Heavenly Father.

And, finally, to help us to be just as grateful unto those that offend us when they repent as our gracious Father forgives us when we repent.

If we refuse to repent, He will publicly expose them to cause us shame, just as He did to David.

Get rid of your little sins because if you do not they only lead you to committing the bigger ones. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Mekaddishkem (Exodus 31:13) – The LORD that Sanctifies You that when I repent, Your holy pure blood washes my sins away like the waves wash the sand away on a beach. I praise You for this precious gracious gift in Your magnificent name. Amen

It Happens to All of Us

Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many. Hebrews 12:15 The Holy Bible New Living Translation

It happens to all of us.

There are folks that abuse us at some point in our lives.

Some repent and some do not.

Irregardless, the wound cuts deep and there is bitterness in our hearts. If we are not careful the root will grow deep like a dandelion root. It will poison our spiritual life, our mental life and our physical life until it destroys us. The root grows too deep for us to rip it out. We need to call upon the Master Gardener for that.

His name is Jesus and you can call Him anytime at P.R.A.Y.

Do not think this will be a one time call. Sometimes the seed comes back and we need to call the Master Gardener again. Sometimes those weeds will never be completely eradicated until we reach the Gates of Heavens home for us.

Jesus is the Master Gardener. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah YAHWEH Ropheka :God our healer, for blessing me with Your Divine healing. Some of the wounds were deep and infested my soul for decades. The only way healing occurred was to place the infection at Your feet and trust in Your gracious healing. I thank you in the name of the grand Healer Jesus Christ. Amen

Have You Ever Suffered From?

 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. 1 John 1:9 The Holy Bible New Living Translation

Have you ever suffered from constipation for a few days?

It feels as if hands of fire are gripping your guts, and your head is going to explode.

Think of how relieved you feel when you finally have a bowel movement. Afterwards you feel light as air and feels pretty good huh?

Now think about how you feel when you repent of your sins. Think of how those sins eat at your soul affecting not only it but your physical health as well. When you repent, that filth is excreted from your soul like a spiritual bowel movement. Should we not be grateful to the one who makes forgiveness possible just as we are relieved from physical constipation?

The Holy Spirits conviction is the best spiritual enema you will ever have for better spiritual health. It flushes the filth of sin form the spirit quite effectively.Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Holy Spirit Go’el (The Lord is my Redeemer) – Is. 49:26, 60:16 for blessing me with conviction which brings me unto repentance which blesses me with redemption. I exalt You in the name of He whose blood made redemption possible Jesus Christ. Amen

Whatever is beautiful, whatever is meaningful, whatever brings you joy, may you be blessed with an abundance of it this every day this year.

My Gimme List.

It seems like the majority of folks today are like spoiled babies always crying gimme, gimme, gimme. It does not matter if the are young or old, man or woman (and as much as the lie berals like to pollute Gods design, that is the only two sexes there is naturally). It does not matter if the are rich or poor or what ethnically they are.

Yet, in this deafening screeching is the sound of silence of gratitude and service.

Please my Love gimme a grateful heart to thank you for all of your blessing both great and small every day.

Please my Love gimme eyes to see the subtle blessing You abundantly shower upon me every day so I can praise You more and more every day.

Please my Love, bless me with a heart that expands its love for You more and more every day.

Please my Love, gimme a mind and body that is submissive to Your will in my life every day.

Please my Love, gimme a forgiving heart to those who have offended me just as You forgive me when I repent.

Please my Love, open my eyes unto the needy not the lazy and ungrateful but rather those who are in genuine need and are appreciative of the help given.

Please my Love guide me where to invest Your tenth of my salary to You where it will do the most good for Your kingdom.

All of these are a gift of thanksgiving for my salvation and adoption into my Loving Heavenly Fathers family.

How Much Less Will We

 See to it that you do not refuse [to listen to] Him who is speaking [to you now]. For if those [sons of Israel] did not escape when they refused [to listen to] him who warned them on earth [revealing God’s will], how much less will we escape if we turn our backs on Him who warns from heaven? Hebrews 12:25 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Be fair warned. Just as Jehovah gave ample warning to the Israelites before the hammer came down on them hard so too does He warn us. You ignore Him at your own peril.

Now I do not believe Jehovah will curse you with plagues however what He does is just tell you: “Okay, you refuse to listen to me and stubbornly insist on going your own ways, fine. I will just step back and allow you to reap the rewards of your destructive lifestyle.” Then you will suffer like you have never suffered before. In your suffering you will cry out unto Him to deliver you from these catastrophes but just as you turned your back on Him and refused to listen to Him, so too does He turn His back on you and refuse to listen to you.

Now if you repent with sincerity (repent means you admit what you did, admit it was wrong, ask for forgiveness and stop doing it), He is loving and will forgive you. You must however still pay the price for your wicked ways. So say you murdered someone and are on death row. He will not deliver you from the execution but when you die you will not face His eternal judgment for that crime when you sincerely repent.

I have seen it so much in my life.

Some folks when they were young they laughed and thought they were getting away with it but they paid a very heavy price for their sins in their elder years. It aches the heart to watch to happen to those you know but they are harvesting what they planted. 

Turn your back on Jehovah and He will turn His back on you. Joseph a son of Jehovah

 Prayer: I pray my Beloved Jehovah Ghmolah (The God of Recompense) that I may never be idiotic enough to turn my back on You. I have witnessed the terrible consequences of such foolishness and it fills me with terror. As well my love, our loving relationship is the most priceless treasure You have blessed me with and I would be left in a spiritual lonely desert if I was ever that stupid to turn my back on You. I sincerely request this in the name of the light that guides me into an ever deeper sphere of Divine love with You Jesus Christ. Amen  

May you be blessed with the gift of love, the gift of peace, the gift of joy. May you be blessed with numerous opportunities to share these gifts with others today.  

Knowing That God Has

All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin which does not [involve] death [that may be repented of and forgiven]. 1 John 5:17 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

There is no conning Jehovah. Saying you are sorry just so you do not face the consequences of your wrong doing means nothing to Him. You are just trying to manipulate Him without addressing the wrong doing. It is insulting and disrespectful.

A false apology is worse than no apology. Joseph a son of Jehovah.

When with a sincere heart we humble ourselves before Him and repent of the wrong doing, we are forgiven.

Now repent means we admit what we did, admit it was wrong, apologize for it and stop doing it. Therefore Jehovah will guide us (through the Holy Spirit) in the proper manner and time to repent to those we have done wrong to( Especially, those which belong unto His family. He takes that sin very personal.

When Saul encountered Christ on the road to Damascus Jesus asked Saul why he was persecuting Him, not His followers, which means Christ takes it personally). Sometimes we cannot reconcile with the injured party because it is beyond our means (maybe they have died) but when we repent with pure motives He is quick to forgive the deed.

When we have committed a sin against Jehovah, the Holy Spirit will guide us in the way in which to reconcile with Jehovah.

There is no forgiveness without repentance. Joseph a son of Jehovah

When we have truly repented of our sins, Jehovah is quick to forgive us.

”There is no greater state than to get up from your knees knowing that God has forgiven every sin you’ve ever committed.” ―R.C. Sproul

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Elohay Selichot (God Of Forgiveness) for the blessing of Your Divine loving graciousness of forgiving me when I have repented of committing offences against either or You or others. It blesses me not only with peace of mind but with the assurance of our continuing eternal love affair. I praise You in the name of He who shed His blood so my sins could be forgiven Jesus Christ. AMEN

Shall Come Upon Them Like a Flash

 And will not [our just] God defend and avenge His elect [His chosen ones] who cry out to Him day and night? Will He delay [in providing justice] on their behalf?  I tell you that He will defend and avenge them quickly. Luke 18:7-8 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

There was a popular show in the seventies where the main character would say : “God will get you for that” when they said or did something bad. Even though it was said as a punch line for a laugh at the time, truer words were never said. Oh, the wicked may seem as if they are getting away with it and indeed even profiting by it when they scheme and scam others or perpetrate any other type of abuse , but Jehovahs justice shall come upon them like a flash and power of a lightening bolt.

It may take decades for Jehovahs fury to be inflicted upon the perpetrators, but that is because He is giving them time to repent, but they shall indeed suffer Jehovahs true vengeance when He tires of their wickedness.

Yes we are to pray for those who have wronged us to come unto repentance when they have wronged us.                                                                                                                    

But, yes we as Christians have every right to call out onto Jehovah for vengeance when we have been wronged and then trust Jehovah to deliver true justice unto them when they are unrepentant. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: I humbly plead with You oh Jehovah Ghmolah (The God of Recompense. The God of vengeance) to send the Holy Spirit to speak into the hearts of those who have wronged me less they suffer Your recompense hurling into their lives. If they refuse to rectify their wicked ways may Your vengeance convince them to repent of their vile lifestyle less they suffer eternal damnation in Hell. I request this in the name of the Supreme Judge Jesus Christ. Amen May Gods sunshine always bless you with brightening your day with His love, joy and peace. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Begin with Me.

 My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 The Holy Bible Amplified Version  

This is the sequence of seeking reconciliation with with Jehovah.   

First you must humble yourself before Jehovah. Do not attempt to speak with Him as an equal or as if you are superior but rather as a repentant naughty child

Then you must have a deep remorse for your sins as a child who was naughty and has brought great grief unto the relative they love so much (I say relative because many do not have loving parents but everyone has a relative they have a deep loving relationship with). This must be done to continue with a desire improve our deep loving relationship with our Heavenly Father.

Finally we must turn from our wicked ways less they destroy this most important of all loving relationship.                

All wickedness has selfishness at its core. Joseph a son of Jehovah                   

We must turn from me first to Jehovah first. Then Jehovah will listen to our prayers. Then Our sins will be forgiven. Then our spirit will be healed first above all others.

Show Real Desire For

                                     

Repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life] Matthew 3:2 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

There is a proverb that says there is no helping an alcoholic until they want to help themselves. This is oh so very true.

Well, it is the same with the Christian. We can call out to Jehovah to help us with problems and we wonder why He is silent. Perhaps He is waiting to see just how much you desire to take the medicine to solve the problem.

So say you are calling out to Jehovah due to financial restraints. He is waiting to see if you are willing to take responsibility for your foolish spending, like paying extravagant money for a cup of coffee you can make at home for a fraction of the price. You know that is foolish but have pride to be one of the gang at school or work. Why should Jehovah offer any help to you when you refuse to take the first step? If you will not take that first step on your own, you most certainly will not follow His suggestions on how to improve your situation.

As well, He is seeing just how much faith (which means trust) we have in Him. The next part of the equation may mean a huge leap of faith.

So say you are having relationship problems but when He directs you to Godly councilors, you do not trust Him in His selection of councilor and you refuse to listen and obey to the advice He gives. It may sound insane to you but you have to take that first step out of faith in the Lord. Then He takes you by the hand through the rest of the steps. Finally there will be success. This may take years to accomplish.

Prayer: Please Jehovah ‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) enable me to always have a deep desire to be obedient unto Your providential advice.

Please nurture in me a faith that grows stronger in You day by day.
