Communion with Christ

Constant, Conscious

Christians are to live in constant, conscious communion with Christ. Yes, Jesus Christ literally lives within you if you have put your faith in Him as your personal Savior.

The heart of Christian living is found in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The apostle Paul wrote, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).

Christ lives in you (Col. 1:27). That is a fact that is true of every believer.

Jesus prayed for you and me when He prayed, “That all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in Me and I am in You. May they also be in us that the world may believe that You have sent Me. I have given them the glory that You gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and You in Me” (John 17:20-23).

“I in them and You in Me.” Because Jesus Christ lives in you, His strength works in and through you to bring glory to Him. Learn to trust Him moment by moment living in you.

Jesus living in us is like the glove on your hand. I may say to my glove, “Pick up that Bible.” That glove cannot do a thing. But when I slip that glove on my hand it is a perfect fit. Then when I say, “Pick up the Bible” it has perfect control. Jesus Christ living in you is a perfect fit. “Christ in you” is the astonishing reality that He clothes Himself with us and uses you and me for His eternal purposes. As we make ourselves available to the indwelling Christ, He molds us and uses us as He so pleases for His glory.

Jesus said, “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me” (John 15:4).

It is essential that we have this confidence in Jesus Christ who will in His divine power, make us partakers of His work, His life, His indwelling. What you and I cannot do, He does in and through us.

Christ our Redeemer is the Almighty One, who is everlasting and unchangeable, and it is He who has chosen to indwell you and me with His holy presence. He effected real cleansing and a putting away of sin, so that He can enter into our inmost being and dwell there.

He alone is the One who can reach your heart and fill it with the power of His eternal Word. Moreover, He can maintain without any shadow of turning in never ceasing fashion His life with you.

“Christ in you,” Christ living in you by faith, has the power to make your circumstances, no matter how difficult, a heavenly discipline, to serve His eternal purposes for His glory and your good.

Christ in us, abiding in us, gives us new life, and fills us with Himself. As we make ourselves available to Him, He makes our inner life the proof of His almighty power. The apostle Paul said, “I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord.” Yes, you can have a constant, conscious communion with Christ in a living experiential heart knowledge that comes from faith and fellowship with Him.

Christ living within us works in us every day to lift us up and enables us to live as those who are seated with Him in the heavenlies.Selah!

Hard but Polite

I am grateful I shut down Jezebel today hard but polite when she wanted me to do something without asking and if I say no I will look like the bad guy. It backfired on her.

Later, The Holy Spirit reminded me that is exactly what Kris Reese says to do in one of her videos. I listen to them every day. Now, by Gods grace, I react the way she suggested to and it works. If she were here I would give her she a big bear hug she would think her eyeballs are pooping out.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit reminded me to plug in her battery for the scooter early this morning because I forgot to last night. If I did not do that she would have missed an important appointment.

I am grateful The Holy Spirit showed me where my flashlight was last night after I spent hours looking for it. Now how it got in the bottom of my sleeping bag only He knows ( not that I am suggesting anything but sometimes I do wonder about His sense of humour ).

I am grateful The Holy Spirit suggested a good feeding menu and schedule that has cuddle times included in it for Snowball

Condemned!?

Jesus Christ is the best gift God could ever give.

God so loved the sinful, lost, depraved world that He gave His very best.

Can you imagine what it would be like to reject what God considers to be His greatest gift?

The purpose of God giving His gift was to save men, not condemn them.

“God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes on Him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16, NIV).

Who will be saved? Only those who believe on Christ will be saved.

What about those who will not believe? The Bible tells us Christ died for men.  But that does not automatically bring salvation to anyone. No person is saved unless he or she believes on Christ. To refuse God’s good gift is to be judged already.

Who is already judged? “Whoever does not believe stands condemned already because He has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son” (v. 18, NIV). Those who do not believe on Jesus Christ are already judged.

God’s purpose was not to judge the world, even though it was worthy of judgment and condemnation (Rom. 3:10-11Isa. 53:6). Every one of us stands condemned before God’s judgment because we are guilty. We have broken His law. We have rejected the light He has given us.

Man is already condemned because of his sin. We are already under God’s wrath. The emphasis in verse 18 is on the continuing state of unbelief that results in a continuing state of condemnation for the unbeliever.

The person who refuses to believe is already under God’s wrath. Have you believed in Jesus, or have you refused to believe and are still in the category of one who stands condemned by God?

In strong contrast John 3:18 says, “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (NASB).

There are really only two choices. Have you believed on Jesus Christ? Do you believe that you are a sinner, condemned and under the judgment of God? Do you believe that Jesus Christ is God’s gift of salvation and that He died for you? Have you asked Him to be your Savior?

The only other choice is to do nothing. And if you choose to do nothing you remain under judgment. “Whoever does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” “Whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”

Let’s not fail to comprehend or stress an important biblical truth that salvation is for all who believe on Christ Jesus, but condemnation and judgment is on all who do not believe on Him. The consequences of that judgment depends upon each individual’s relationship with Christ Jesus (John 3:16-215:24).

Who will be the judge? God has committed all judgment to Christ (5:22, 27). He goes on to speak of Christ as judging (5:30; 8:16, 26) or not judging (8:15, 16; 12:47), and of His word as judging men (12:48). His judgment is just (5:30) and it is true (8:16).

We are already under condemnation because we are sinners. Sin has ruined us. Moreover, John 3:19 tells us we are condemned because we actually prefer sin to the light of God’s righteousness in Jesus Christ. “Light” has come in the person of Jesus Christ, but men and women have turned from it. The bottom line is we really do not want what God wants for us until the Holy Spirit regenerates our heart.

What men and women do with Christ Jesus now determines what will happen when they stand before Him on judgment day.

Because sinful man would prefer spiritual darkness, if you love the light, it is only because God’s regenerating Spirit is working in your heart. You can come out of darkness into the light today if you will respond to the Holy Spirit’s illuminating power and presence. To everyone who believes on Christ, the Word of God says, “Therefore, there is now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1).Selah!

The Only Way We can Destroy

The only way we can destroy the negative or lustful or proud thoughts that constantly bombard us through out the day is to walk in harmony with The Holy Spirit. Whenever these thoughts enter my mind The Holy Spirit softly speaks to me and reminds me these are destructive thoughts. I then thank Him for the warning and tell satan to get lost and sing “ Jesus loves me. ‘ Those destructive thoughts disappear like a lightning bolt. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

The Three Steps For

God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. Philippians 2:13 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Do you see the three steps?

Step one: it is God working in you. So, if you desire to serve God and proceed without His blessings you will fail.

Step two is The Holy Spirit giving us a desire to serve where Christ wants us to.

Step three is The Holy Spirit giving us guidance in how to serve and the power to succeed.

It is only when we surrender our will to The Holy Spirit sent by Jehovah will we be able to succeed in our service to Jesus. He will give us a desire for the field in which Jesus sends us to, the tools with which to work with and the power to succeed.

For most of us, we would never have dreamed of going where Jesus desired us to serve Him or do the things He wanted us to accomplish.

As well, we were completely unqualified to succeed.

But, it was the power of The Holy Spirit that we accomplished our assignment. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah ‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You Judges 6:12) for blessing me with the best path finder in life, The Holy Spirit to guide me along the trail to Heaven You have chosen for me to travel in service to my King Jesus until we reach our final destination, Heavens Gate. I praise You in my Kings beautiful name. Amen

May you have a grateful heart towards He who has given so much to you. indeovi vas ( may you live with Jesus in Latin )

We are in a Constant

For we not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Throughout history, the same principle appears over and over again – he who holds the high ground wins the battle!

We are in a constant battle with satan and his minions.

As well, there are just plain nasty men and women out there who are con artists, agitators.

We need to put on the armour of God and listen to our commanding officer if we are to win the daily battle.

Our weapons are integrity, honesty, purity, holiness, and love

Our commanding officer of course is The Holy Spirit. He guides away from the ambushes and towards victory every time

Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. Zechariah 4:6 Stand on the high ground with The Holy Spirit and use His weapons to guide you to victory. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Gibbor Milchamah (Psalms 24:8 The LORD Mighty In Battle ) for blessing me with the best commanding officer, The Holy Spirit who always guides me to victory in all my battles. I praise You in the name of my Warrior King, Jesus Christ. Amen

May you have a grateful heart towards He who has given so much to you. indeovi vas ( may you live with Jesus in Latin )

The Flame Thrower of Love

Satan is using the abuse suffered by a tormentor to extinguish Jesus’ light of love and fill it with dark hate. I pray for the Holy Spirit to be the flame thrower of love to destroy satan’s dark matter in our hearts. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah
