As a Christian I

If you listen obediently to the Voice of God, your God, and heartily obey all his commandments that I command you today, God, your God, will place you on high, high above all the nations of the world. All these blessings will come down on you and spread out beyond you because you have responded to the Voice of God, your God: God’s blessing inside the city,
God’s blessing in the country;
God’s blessing on your children,
    the crops of your land,
    the young of your livestock,
    the calves of your herds,
    the lambs of your flocks.
God’s blessing on your basket and bread bowl;
God’s blessing in your coming in,
God’s blessing in your going out.                                                                                                  God will defeat your enemies who attack you. God will make you the head, not the tail; you’ll always be the top dog, never the bottom dog, as you obediently listen to and diligently keep the commands of God, your God, that I am commanding you today. Normally I keep politics out of my blog but because this is, in my opinion, a very important election in Canada as a Christian I feel it my duty to educate all Christians in this country to the alternative to the main political parties.

Have lived through numerous parties in power I have seen that, in my opinion, they do not represent Christian values.

Therefore in this election I have voted for the Christian Heritage party. Their platform represents what I believe needs to be done in this country to improve our economic, educational, environmental, judicial and security.

My Climate Recipe

Recently we are constantly being bombarded on TV news with segments about these so called “climate activists” concerned about the rising temperatures.

Okay, if you are so concerned about climate change here is my climate recipe: Instead of using soap to wash yourselves with why not use a body brush. In my opinion (and I have successfully being using them for decades now) it does a better job than soap. Talking about showers or baths , how about you only have one bath every other day. I do and there is no body odor to me. personal  routine

Instead of using commercial underarm deodorant (which is harmful to your body in my opinion) why not use earth crystals which can be purchased at a health food store (yes, they are expensive but they also last for years compared to how long the commercial ones last).

Instead of using dish washing detergent why not use salt? Again, I have been doing this for years and the iodine in the salt kills the germs. While we are at it, instead of using a dishwasher why not try the old hand washing? I have never gotten sick from it.

Instead of using laundry detergent why not use baking soda? Again, I have been doing these things for decades now with no adverse effects. Instead of using the dryer why not hang up your clothes to dry? Please no immature cry babies complaining because they see their neighbors underwear. We did it for decades with no adverse affect on others so stop being so self righteous and grow up.

Instead of using fast food restaurant cutlery (throw away drinking cup and wrappers why not take in reusable containers? It is reusable so nothing is going in a landfill.

In the nice weather , if you live in a town, why not bicycle or walk to and from work? This is also a great way to relieve stress. Instead of clogging up the highways driving to and from work why not take the bus or train?

Instead of buying clothing made of polyester why not buy clothes made from wool and or cotton?

Why not grow a raised garden in your backyard or on your balcony? Why not have two rain barrels at each rain spout on your house? These will not only catch the rain and help prevent flooding but can also be used to water your garden and lawn which puts less stress on the town water supply and purification stations? Instead of using pesticides why not use organic pesticides like garlic and marigold? I do it and it works great for all kinds of pests and you get to eat fresh grown organic.

These are but a few tips to help keep our planet (and it is a planet not “mother earth, which is a cultist stupid word for our planet. It is giving a fictitious female a deity of worshiping her instead of the Creator of the earth which is satnic).

I bet most of you will not do these.

You know why?

Because, you are too lazy and do not want to make the commitment.

So instead of being self righteous and using climate change as an excuse to pump of your own over inflated ego why not get off your butts and put your money where your mouth is or shut up.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Bara (The Lord Creator) Isaiah 40:28 (not “mother earth) for blessing me with the wisdom on how to make a personal commitment to caring for the paradise you have created for us (planet earth) which we are selfishly destroying. Please help others take up the same banner to help heal this planet which we were given to be care takers of. I humbly request this in the name of He who will reign on this planet after it has been healed Jesus Christ. I will Teach You.

Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Psalm 34:11 New King James Version

In this context fear is not to be afraid but rather to respect.

Yes it is important for parents, grand parents, aunts, uncles and teachers to teach young children about Jehovah.

 

But, do not forget that new comers to the family of Jehovah are like children and not mature. They need mentors to guide them along the path of righteousness both by example and by teaching. It will require a lot of patience as many of them will bombard you with incessant questions. That is another reason why there should be more than one teacher so they do not get exhausted.

Teaching is not just from the Bible but also from personal experience. I believe the personal experience to be the strongest form of teaching. Just as in the New Testament times they met in brothers and sisters houses so should they today.

Just as they shared meals together back then so too is it just as important today (Imagine having a pot luck dinner with brothers and sisters from different cultures. Not only do you have fellowship and Bible study but you are exposed to various different culinary delights from around the world.

Imagine learning a different language and different songs of praise and thanksgiving to different styles of music from all over the world? Hearing their stories of how they came to Christ and what He has done in and through their lives may inspire and strengthen you as well.

Take turns going to each others homes if possible.

Being in the modern world of course there is online Bible study groups (Skype is free). You can study with brothers and sisters from all over the world. I have and found it very enlightening.  An added benefit is when you study with someone from a different culture and country you can learn another language and varied history.

It does not matter if a baby or a seasoned vet we can all learn from each other, strengthen each other, support each other and encourage each other.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Pryyand- God is my friend for blessing me with numerous opportunities to enjoy fellowship, brotherly love and friendship with numerous brothers and sisters in my neighbourhood and around the world. I give thanks in the name of my best friend Jesus Christ. Amen.

Will Not be Blessed

An inheritance claimed too soon will not be blessed at the end. Proverbs 20:21 New International Version

It is very common today for children to want their inheritance be given to them even though their parents are still alive. It is because they have foolishly gone in debt over their heads and expect their parents to pay for their extravagant lifestyle and bail them out.

That is like saying you wish your parents were dead.

That is a cursed thing in the eyes of Jehovah.

The children who do attain their inheritance do not curtail their unwise lifestyle but continue on falsely believing mommy and daddy will be there to bail them out again.

When mommy and daddy die and there is no money left in their inheritance to support their luxurious lifestyle and they lose everything. I can see great suffering coming soon to todays youth.

When the well runs dry oh how terrible the consequences will be for those living off of others. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Please Jehovah-Naheh (the Lord who Smites) convict the wicked, selfish, self centered ones and move them to repent. Teach them to show proper respect and give loving care to their aged parents. Speak into the hearts of the parents to appreciate the loving care and sacrifice their children are giving towards them. I humbly ask this in the name of the son who cared for His mother while suffering an agonizing death Jesus Christ. Amen

Where is Yours?

“Take for yourselves twelve men from the people, one man from every tribe,  and command them, saying, ‘Take for yourselves twelve stones from here, out of the midst of the Jordan, from the place where the priests’ feet stood firm. You shall carry them over with you and leave them in the lodging place where you lodge tonight.’” Then Joshua called the twelve men whom he had appointed from the children of Israel, one man from every tribe; and Joshua said to them: “Cross over before the ark of the Lord your God into the midst of the Jordan, and each one of you take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, that this may be a sign among you when your children ask in time to come, saying, ‘What do these stones mean to you? Then you shall answer them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it crossed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. And these stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever. And the children of Israel did so, just as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones from the midst of the Jordan, as the Lord had spoken to Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, and carried them over with them to the place where they lodged, and laid them down there. Then Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of the Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests who bore the ark of the covenant stood; and they are there to this day. The Lord commanded that each elder of each tribe to pick up a rock from the Jordan and place it on dry land as a memorial for what Jehovah had done for them.

What about you?

Do you have a memorial to show your children and grandchildren what specific thing He has blessed you with?  As well it is a reminder for you.

To guide the youth to the future we must teach them about our past.  Joseph- Anthony: Green

For me it is a picture of when I planted my one millionth tree and how far he brought me from when I first began especially spiritually and in my walk with Him. Although He has guided me much deeper into a loving relationship with Him treeplanting represents dedication and just what He can, will and does accomplish in our lives when we are obedient to Him. It was the hardest thing I had ever done in my life and drew me so close to Him and taught me lessons that by Gods grace I shall never forget. I constantly use them to teach students and they are appreciative for it.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rohi (God is my Sheppard) for the amazing things You have accomplished in and through my life. I carry that photo with me and gladly explain to those willing to listen just what You are capable of doing in and through their lives. I joyously exalt You in the name of He who accomplished the greatest feat of all (our salvation) Jesus Christ. Amen.
