Christ first, others second and self last.

This is the motto of every Christian.

Before you commit to anything first in prayer and meditation take it to Jesus and ask if it conforms to His will. This is in every aspect of your life (believe me it will save you a lot of grief and trouble).

Does your language or the company you keep or your behavior bring glory to Christ or shame?

Next how does your action affect those around you?

Does your attitude or behavior unfairly hurt others?

Many relationships can avoid confrontation and bitter feelings if you follow this mode.

 

Prayer: Please Jehovah Chanan (God is gracious) bless my behavior and language that it is full of grace like You are so that I may bring glory and honour to You and guide others to You. As well bless me to be sensitive to others like Jesus was so my disposition will guide others to You and we can be blessed with a harmonious relationship. I humbly request this in the name of He who never thought of Himself first Jesus Christ. Amen.

No Plan That Can Succeed.

 

There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord. Proverbs 21:30 New International Version

 

Do you know of anyone out to get you?

Maybe to cheat you or to hurt you?

They lay plans where they believe they are so smart and you so stupid it will be easy to trap you, shame you and destroy you.

 

No plan of the wicked can succeed against the Lord.

When you belong to Him, trust Him, obey Him and love Him, you are under divine protection.

 

From my experience there were many such incidences that I never even knew about until afterwards. Those wicked ones looked the fools with great shame while I attained great respect and honour. I did nothing in the whole event, the Lord did it all.

 

For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked leads to destruction. Psalm 1:6 New International Version

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Yeshua (God our deliverer and rescuer) for saving me from the numerous wicked schemes of the devils children that lurk amongst us. Do You Keep Them?

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it Revelation 1:3 New King James Version

Do you see the three parts of this blessing?

One: when we pray for Jehovah to open our minds and hearts to what He is saying to us as we read the Bible we will be blessed with understanding. That is why reading our Bibles every day is so important.

Two: When we pray that Jehovah blesses us with understand with what a pastor is saying he will bless us with knowledge. That is why it is important to listen to godly preachers. I like Allister Begg, Charles Spurgeon, Vance Havener and many other that can be found at seromadudio.com and oneplace.com. At sermon audio you can listen to great ones from the past which are really good.

Three: Once we have been enlightened we must do our part and be obedient to what is being taught in order to receive the ultimate blessing. That of course is a deeper understanding of, appreciation and love for our Heavenly Father, King and Teacher.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah KalEl (voice of God) for speaking to me and blessing me with understanding. This has of course blessing me with a deeper understanding, love and obedience to You, my King (Jesus) and my Holy Teacher (the Holy Spirit). Our Adversary Majors In.

The devil loves to come at us sneakily. He sneaks in slowly without you even knowing it.

There are meetings, deadlines, traffic to and from work and kids activities. These all leave us with little time or energy to read our Bibles or have an enjoyable talk with our Heavenly Father.

Then there is the idiot box (TV) that constantly lies by telling us we will only be happy if we buy this product or will be radiantly beautiful of we buy that product, we need this need gadget or latest app or smart phone.

When all is said and done, can any of them love you like our Heavenly Father?

There are some liars today passing off as the voice of God telling people God is a magic genie whose only purpose is to make us happy like we were spoiled brats.

Nothing is further from the truth.

To walk the Christian walk is to be in a constant battle.

You will suffer many things unfairly, you will be rejected by friends and family and even those in your own church, you will be despised at work, school, church and in your family.

Do not despair though because these trials and tribulations will bring you into a closer loving relationship with Christ and that is worth more than all your trials and tribulations combined.

It starts out small and it starts out fun.

That is the way of most sin.

The devil temps us with TV, social media and other sources that something like partying, or having premarital sex is fun. Backstabbing can be justified. It is fun to gossip, Someone does you wrong and what starts out as a little bad feeling that makes you feel good because you are not talking to someone spreads like cancer until it destroys you.

Now repenting means not only saying your sorry but stopping the abusive behaviour.

For your mental, physical and spiritual health it is important to repent.

As well unrepentance affects your relationships, especially with Jehovah.

This is a Warning.

Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? Hebrews 10:29 New King James Version

 

 

This is not a warning for the uneducated, this is a warning for those who have come to know Christ and ignore Him.

If you notice this warning is to those who are sanctified.

 

Sanctified: to set apart to a sacred purpose or to religious use .Merriam Webster dictionary

 

So when we become Christians we are sanctified by Christs sacrifice.

The way I believe we trample the Son of God is to trample upon His flock by mocking them and persecuting them.

 

The way we count Christs blood of the covenant a common thing is to take our Christian walk and Christs sacrifice as a common thing and not respect it anymore than we respect a hot dog.

The way we insult the Holy Spirit is to rebel against Him as He is trying to lead us on the Christian walk.

 

If you notice the punishment for those who commit this crime is much more sever than those of unbelievers. So be careful lest you suffer a very bad fate.

Prayer: Please Jehovah Yahweh (God of His people) open my mind and heart to anything that offends You, Your holy Son and Your Holy Spirit which are such precious gifts You have blessed me with. I do not desire to suffer the worst punishment of all, youse     removing yourselves from our loving relationship. I humbly request this in the name of He who paid such a high price for this gift Jesus Christ. Amen.

Do You Cause His Indignation?

Indignation has taken hold of me Because of the wicked, who forsake Your law. Psalm 119:52-53 New King James Version

Indignation :  anger aroused by something unjust, unworthy, or mean  Merriam Webster dictionary

I do not believe this passage is intended for unbelievers.

If you notice it states it concerns those who have forsaken the Lords law.

To me that would indicates someone who knows the Lords law and blatantly, intentionally ignores it.

 

So if you are a Christian and are arrogantly being disobedient not only can you not expect no blessings from the Lord but instead you will receive His curses.

 

If you read in the book of Deuteronomy about the blessings and curses you will see that the Lord will bring curses upon you in sevens. So he will curse you and if you refuse to repent the next curse will be worse than the previous one. At the end of the last curse the Lord will turn His back on you and you will suffer complete destruction. This will include your finances, your marriages and your life.

I have witnessed it a few times with those who have strayed and stubbornly refused to repent.

So be careful.

Are You a True One?

True worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. John 4:23 New King James Version

worship: the act of showing respect and love for a god especially by praying with other people who believe in the same god : the act of worshipping God or a god Merriam Webster dictionary

Do you worship our Heavenly Father in spirit or in words and actions?

Are you truthful with Him or are you trying to con Him?

Because Jehovah is spirit He desires a spiritual relationship with us.

There are no incantations (special prayer) that will impress Him, there is no amount of volunteer work we can do to impress Him, there is no, there is no amount of money that will impress Him.

Only an honest loving spiritual love is what will please Him.

So are you a true Christian or are you a for show Christian?

The Best Retirement Guarantee.

I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken Psalm 37:25  New King James Version

 

This verse is very significant to me.

 

There have been three times in my life where I worked hard and had a nice little nest egg set aside for my retirement. Through circumstances beyond my control I was wiped out each and every time.

 

Then I dedicated my life to serving the Lord.

 

In my many decades of serving the Lord none of the places I have served Him have left me financially independent.

 

One day I was very afraid because after my last assignment was completed I felt I was too old to get any work and would be left destitute.

 

I prayed to my Love and posted it on line for others to pray for me as well.

 

The next day I felt compelled to read the above verse.

 

An old missionary who has walked this walk before wrote me and said the same thing as the above verse .

 

The two combined left me with a feeling of security knowing that the Lord will never leave me nor desert me.

 

Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. Isaiah 46:4New International Version
