If Someone Claims

And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments. If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. 1 John 2:3-4 The Holy Bible, The New Living Testament

I understand how Jesus feels.

Think of how you feel when you give a gift to someone and they do not thank you for it but rather, abuse it.

Think of how Jesus feels when those who claim to be His ( Christians ) do not appreciate Jesus’ by not obeying His command to love others.

Now think of how care givers feel when we sacrifice ( And yes, it is a sacrifice to give up our time and energy to care for our parents. Indeed, most of us have given up our lives to care for them.) so much for our parents and they repay us with nothing but abuse while the rest of the family who contributes nothing gets everything. Most of us have given up our careers and receive no financial compensation in return even though the parents have the means to do so. Instead they give it to those who contribute nothing. I know many times I personally put in over forty hours a week. Many of the others have put in full time hours as well.

When people work, their wages are not a gift, but something they have earned. Romans 4:4 The Holy Bible, The New Living Testament

I know I speak for the majority of care givers because I know fifteen in our county ( including myself ) that fits this description to a tee.

What is even worse is when the parents claim to be Christians.

Think of how Jesus feels when He directs us, His free will servants, to give up our lives to care for our parents and receive nothing but abuse in return. By taking care of them we are serving Jesus.

Prayer: Thank you Ha-Melech Jesus Christ (Psalms 98:6 The LORD the King ) my King that I have dedicated my life to serving that Your loyal servants shall be richly rewarded for our service while those who claim to be Your while dancing with the devil shall be severely punished. It is in Your Righteous name I pray. Amen

He Always Rewards Richly.

I am grateful for the rain

I am grateful for quiet time to get all the morning chores done ( mom went to a church rummage sale ).

I am grateful that The Holy Spirit reminded me that every time I get angry because of the wages my mom has cheated out of ( which is in the hundreds of thousands ) because she refuses to pay me for being her care giver and instead gives money to her daughter in law to blow at the casino and her grand daughter who blows it at the liqueur store while contributing nothing to help in caring for her or the property ( in the spring, summer and fall there is six hours work at day in the gardens and yard work with no help. ) to remember that I am serving Jesus by being her care giver and He always rewards richly. So, do not get angry.

I am grateful that The Holy Spirit suggested I make big pots of herbal tea to drink through out the day instead of munching to lose weight. I am grateful that The Holy Spirit guided me to a site with incredibly beautiful Christian music Fountainview Academy https://www.youtube.com/@fountainviewacademy

I am grateful that Fountainview Academy music is so encouraging and relaxing.

Conversation With God

“What is on your mind child?”

“Oh, I don’t know, I feel a lot of unresolved conflicts inside that produce stressful thinking and I can’t make them subside. I don’t want these destructive feelings controlling me or my day.”

“Well, you are on the right track by recognizing the problem, and wise to consider the choices you have to resolve it. I bet you already know the solution. I’ve never left you defenseless, have I?”

“Yeah, I know. But it’s still a battle to redirect these adrenaline rushes onto to something way more worthwhile, something that is life giving instead of life consuming. I wish I was the kind of person that could flip the switch and calm down. It’s like the bad news always invades my peace and stifles my ability to stabilize it back to normal. I feel I need to change this pattern.”

“What have you done so far today to reverse these stressful thoughts? You know where to find an arsenal of power, don’t you?”

“Yes, Lord. In my heart, I want to sit down and immerse myself in your Word to start off my day, but in reality, I fall prone to distractions, as if my worrying will change the outcome. How foolish of me to obsess like this. It’s a glaring weakness I have. I even go so far to believe it’s in my nature to be taken captive, and that I’ll always be predisposed towards anxiety. I need to work harder than most people to prevent the anxiety from robbing me of joy and contentment.”

“Are you sure about that? Last time I checked, the entire human race is still under siege, taken hostage by strongholds that can only be torn down by my Word, which, by the way, is the same for everyone – it has the same working power to disarm all the tactics of the enemy, not just yours. But every test brings a measure of growth, and you have to remember my plan is different for you than it is for others. Stay close to me and I will give you everything you need.”

“I know your words are truth Lord, and I vow right now to stop making excuses for myself. I want to get to the place where I can exercise the authority you have given me to cast down vein imaginations and make them obedient to your word. I am deciding right now, that after this conversation, I will put on my full armor and stand up tall, empowered in your truths, confident I will succeed because you are on my side.”

“That’s my girl. See, we just needed a little refresher talk. I haven’t changed. I am the same Lord who guides you through every trial you face. What makes the difference is when we walk together. I love the heart-to-heart talks we have. They bless me more than they bless you.”

“God, I will never not need you. Every waking moment I live and breathe is a reminder of my desperate need for you. I can’t move into the next second without your presence. Thank you for your steadfast unwavering love for me. I want you to be glorified in my life today. Thanks for standing by me in my dilemma on how to proceed from here.”

“Carry these words with you today child, and reflect on them often: He will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast on thee. That’s a promise. You haven’t forgotten it have you? Hide it in your heart, and rejoice that you are free when you are close to me. It’s a part of my redemption plan for you child. I love you unconditionally. I will be interceding for you today.”

Is That it Causes

I am grateful that The Holy Spirit to guided me to put on my mp3 whenever my narcissistic mother is annoying me and to just walk away.

She loves to get under my skin because she thinks it is funny.

Then, when I blow up she cry babies to everyone how abusive I am to her.

One of the other consequences of her always trying to pick fights is that it causes Snowball to get stressed which causes him to go into seizures.

The same goes true when she is constantly criticizing others.

If there is a dispute between us and it cannot be settled I inform her that I will take it to her church like it says to do in the bible.

When I inform her I am going to do that she goes through the roof and screams at me to not dare do that.

Then, she is informed shut your mouth.

She pouts like a spoiled brat and will not talk to me ( she never talks with, she talk to me. Talking with someone is when they speak you listen. You speak they listen. Dictating is when they speak you listen. When you speak they ignore you. She is in the second category. ) the rest of the day

The Care Giving Disciple

When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Matthew 9:36 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Jesus see’s our elderly parents who are not quick on the draw anymore and has compassion on them. He sends us who are His disciples to go and care for them.

There are so many times we feel lost and confused, not knowing how to properly care for them.

Most people do not want to hear our problems and have no advice to give us. It is extremely frustrating.

That is why we need to unload our frustrations and anger on Jesus. His shoulders are big enough to take it.

Then when have exhausted ourselves, He gently assures us He loves us, cares for us and offers suggestions on how best to handle the situation.

It often is not easy to obey His instructions but it must be done for our own sanity as well as the best care for our parents.

Name your problems one by one with Jesus. He is in no hurry and wants you to unload on Him. He will not be offended by your anger, frustration and pain. Then, be still and listen to His soft, gentle loving voice as He comforts you, encourages you and heals you. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

This is not just for those caring for elderly ( most often abusive and ungrateful parents ) but those taking care of disabled wives and husbands, and of course those taking care of handicapped children.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Machsi (Psalms 91:9 The LORD My Refuge)that when the stress and abuse is unbearable when caring for others I can always take refuge in Your loving, caring arms. I praise You in the name of He who comforted so many when He walked amongst them, Jesus Christ. Amen

May you have a grateful heart towards He who has given so much to you. indeovi vas ( may you live with Jesus in Latin ) Seleh- stop and think about it.

Christ Our Refuge

The Bible is very clear in its declaration that individuals who are not “in Christ” are lost and under condemnation. If you are not “in Christ Jesus” you have not escaped the condemnation and the wrath of God.

The apostle John wrote, “He who believes in Him [Jesus] is not judged” (John 3:18a). Paul wrote “there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). John goes on to say, “he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (v. 18b). The person who does not believe is already condemned and that condemnation of unbelievers is now in the present time.

“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life” (John 5:24). “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3:36).

The sole basis of this justification and declaration of “no condemnation” is the assurance found in the words “in Christ Jesus.” We were all condemned in Adam, but in the second Adam there is no condemnation.

Christians do sin and fail to bring glory to God, and we do suffer the natural consequences of our sins. However, we do not suffer condemnation because Christ was condemned in our stead.

The legalist tries desperately to please God by obeying the law in his own strength, however it is impossible. On the other hand, the Christian who is under the control of the Holy Spirit experiences the sanctifying work of the Spirit in his daily life.

By an act of simple dependence upon Jesus Christ the believer realizes his position in Christ. “By nature I am in myself, and in sin and I am, therefore, condemned; but when the grace of God awakens me up to know my ruined state, then I fly to Christ. I trust alone in His blood and righteousness, and He becomes to me the cleft of the rock, whereas I hide myself from the storm of vengeance justly due to me for my many offences. The Lord Jesus is typified by the city of refuge,” writes C. H. Spurgeon.

Is your righteousness one which you have worked out yourself, or is the righteousness of Christ imputed to you? Do you look for salvation by self, or for salvation by Christ? “If you can truly say, ‘I hide in Christ,’ then this text warbles sweeter music than ever fell from angel’s lips.” “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Spurgeon added, “Inasmuch as you have believed in Him, you are in Him.”

The promise holds true because the believer is “in Him who can never be condemned. . . If you are in Christ, there is for that very reason no condemnation to you.”

Christ fulfilled the law for you, and since you believed on Him you are justified in Him. “By Christ’s righteous life and substitutionary death, justification has come upon all who are in Him.”

“We are accepted in the beloved,” says the apostle Paul. “By the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”

“Will the Lord condemn those whom He has made righteous?” Will He condemn those for whom He has covered with His own perfect righteousness?”

God has placed the believer in a living vital union in Christ. We have been made one with Christ through a living relationship.

Since we died in Christ and rose with Him, how then shall we be put to death again for the sin for which we have already died in Him? We who are in Christ are justified because Christ is justified by His rising from the dead, and by His taking the position of honor and glory at the right hand of God. “He is our representative and we are one with Him, and what He is that we are. Our union is inseparable, and therefore our condemnation is impossible.”

But Please be Gentle.

So correct me, Lord, but please be gentle.Do not correct me in anger, for I would die.Jeremiah 10:24 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

The difference between a spanking and a beating is the number of strokes used and the harshness of them. I learned from spankings but hated from beatings. If you have received both you know what I am talking about. One was done with discipline the other was done with anger.

Just think of what were to happen if we were to receive Gods anger. It certainly terrifies me.

I am grateful for the Lords discipline but am ever more grateful that I do not experience His anger. Joseph- Anthony a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Please Jehovah Elohim Ozer Li (Psalms 54:4 GOD My Helper ) You know that I deeply desire to emulate my hero Jesus in all I say and all I do.

Thank you for sending The Holy Spirit to help me with His gentle correction when I start going in the wrong direction.

Thank you for Your patience so I do not experience Your anger. I thank you in the name of He who had divine patience with His disciples Jesus Christ. Amen

May you have a grateful heart towards He who has given so much to you.
