I have seen people who do without their daily needs so they can give to the bleeding hearts (most of whom are scam artists in my opinion) on TV cry babying for money. It is pitiful to see but they think they are doing good (meanwhile many of these ceo’s are getting paid millions of dollars and the people you think you are helping are just too lazy to help themselves). Many falsely believe they are obeying Jehovahs commands to help the “poor”.

When I was was in Central America folks were constantly telling me to get married and have lots of children so they can support them when they get old. Meanwhile they cannot support their families. They would look at me and say because I have more money than them I “owe” it to them to give them my money.

As well, volunteering in soup kitchens it was common for the “poor” to come up to me and brag about the new tattoo they got and then cry baby they do not have money for food and demand I give them money because I have more money than them.

We are to give, but we are to give sensibly.

Check out the organization (begin by looking at the ceo’s wages ) and if the money is going to actually help those who are worthy of the help.

I do not care if you think I am a scrooge. I would rather give wisely and be considered a Scrooge than give foolishly and be a sucker. Joseph- Anthony :Green

If you cannot afford to help financially then help by donating your time to a worthy cause.

Prayer:Please Jehovah-Jireh (God is our Provider) provide wisdom unto those who wish to honour You but have limited financial resources to organizations that will appreciate their skills more than their finances. Please provide those with available financial resources to organizations that will wisely use the gifts graciously provided unto them. I ask this in the name of he who always provided for His disciples when he walked with them Jesus Christ. Amen.

My Double Blessing.

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 New International Version

 

Every day I pray that Jesus molds me to be more like Him.

 

One day I wanted to go to the library to work on my writing. (it is very hot and the library has air-conditioning. As well they are doing construction where I live and it is very noisy).

 

There was a strong feeling to go grocery shopping instead.

 

When at the supermarket there was a one day sale where many of the items needed were half price.

 

While waiting in line an elderly Chinese female tried to queue jump in front of me.

 

I firmly but politely informed her to go to the back of the line as I stretched out my arm to prevent her from jumping in front of me.

 

Chinese are very stubborn and rude so the arm was put out because they just ignore you and do as they want anyway.

 

She tried to ignore me and push in front. I gently but firmly pushed her back and told her in a stronger voice to get to the back of the line.

 

She understood she was not going to get away with her rudeness and the cashier informed her she would not accept her groceries until she got to the back of the line so she angrily went to the back of the line.

 

The other Chinese females were happily impressed. Upon reflecting upon it later I realized that is exactly what Jesus would have done.

 

Please do not be politically correct and say the old female should have been allowed to get away with her arrogant rudeness. Jesus did not accept abhorrent behavior from anyone regardless of age or status and neither should a Christian.

 

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God our teacher) for blessing me in the proper manner in how to deal with arrogant and rude men and women.

 

I give thanks for this gift in the name of he who did not tolerate rudeness Jesus Christ. Amen.

Are You a Hand Sitter?

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead James 2:17 New International Version

Unfortunately too many Christians mistakenly believe that once they accept Christ as their Savior all they have to do is sit on their hands and wait for Him to carry them to Heaven.

Nothing is further from the truth.

We are created and commanded to do good works.

So my question to you is: are you a hand sitter?

Another mistake too many Christian have is believing in the hit and miss technique.

That is where they believe they will just go out and do good works until they find the place where they believe God wants them to be.

That is saying that they do not depend upon God to lead them to where He wants them to be.

 

This causes a lot of wasted time and is arrogant. It is saying that you are depending upon your own wisdom instead of being depend upon and obedient to Gods guidance in your life.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10 New International Version

A Time for Every Purpose.

To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1 New King James Version

We must go on Jehovahs time not our own.

The quickest way to disaster is to go on my time and not Gods. Joseph- Anthony: Green

When I first became a Christian I wanted to go out and share the message with everyone, even though I was not mature enough to do it. As a consequence I failed miserably.

It took my King another eight years of preparing me before He assigned to me the task he had prepared for me to do in service unto Him. Then when I did receive His commission I did not want to go.

It is the same in every aspect of life. We must wait for His timing not our own.

This applies to waiting for marriages (think of how many divorces there are because folks got married before they were mature enough or until the right mate came along).

The same could be said for having children. How much less child abuse would there be if unsuitable parents never had children or waited until they were mature enough to handle being a parent?

 

You name it and we must wait for the appropriate season in our lives whether it be a career or service unto our Master.

Good Shall Come to Thee.

I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken. Psalm37:25 New King James Version

To be a servant of Jesus means we give up a lot of the worlds luxuries and most times just survive, all be it comfortably but frugally.

This is good because we learn to depend upon Jehovah for our daily needs. Because He generously supplies them we grow deeper and deeper in love with Him and develop a deeper respect for Him.

 

As we age and are no longer able to serve Him as we did when young we have no government pension to fall back on and most times no savings in the bank.

Through His love and grace Jehovah always supplies for us in our old age just as He did in our younger days.

 

Three times I worked hard, lived frugally and saved.

Three times I was wiped out. Since living for Christ, He has always supplied my every need (not necessarily my every want but definitely my every need).

Now I am getting old and my chance of getting a good work contract is nil.

In fear of my future I prayed to Him about my future with no money and no job.

Each time I did, there was a dream where I was led into an apartment. It was comfortable and spacious but the one thing there always hit me was the cupboards were always full and the lady that led there would look at me and smile and say:” This is yours.” She said it like I was not renting or purchasing the place but rather that is was given for me to live in all the rest of my days. Then I would wake up.

That day while doing Bible reading a verse like the one in this article would jump out at me.

I like Jehovahs retirement plan.

“Live to please God, and He will breathe on thee His peace. Seek His glory, and He will make thy heart His home. Do His will, and thereby good shall come to thee.”  F. B. Meyer

Prayer: Thank You Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) for always providing for Your child in his service to his loving King. Thank you for promising and keeping Your promise to always take care of Your children whom You cherish so deeply. I give thanks for this blessing in the name of He who taught about the birds in the sky Jesus Christ. Amen.

It Will Be Given to Him.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 New King James Version

Our Heavenly Beloved does not belittle you when you ask for guidance (you know like: What’s the matter are you stupid or something, oh come on, figure it out yourself, how many times must I explain this to you).

He encourages you to question both Him and His guidance in your life.

The more you respectfully question Jehovah the more he reveals Himself to you. The more he reveals Himself to you the more you love Him and respect Him which will make you worship Him all the more.

 

The more you respectfully question His guidance in your life the less problems you will have which will make you more grateful to Him which will make you worship Him all the more.

It is not a one off experience, it takes a lifetime.

I know this certainly is true in my life.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Rabbi (God is my teacher) for being so patient with this occasional dunce when I am slow to learn. Thank you my Beloved for enlightening me in the divine way in my life. I extol you in the name of the greatest rabbi ever Jesus Christ. Amen.

He is Out of His Mind.

But when His family heard about this, they went out to lay hold of Him, for they said, “He is out of His mind.” Mark 3:21 New International Version

When your family and friends laugh at you, mock you and or consider you crazy for giving up all worldly desires to follow the path Christ has for you in life, just remember, Jesus’ family thought He was nuts too.

 

If you give up a successful career to go work in the slums or when you walk away from the booze, sex and drugs, when you walk away from the malls and walk toward Jesus of course those around you will not understand. What they do not and cannot understand they label as crazy because it does not fit their idea of normal.

I would rather be crazy for Jesus than be normal and in Hell.  Joseph- Anthony: Green

It will be painful to have to say goodbye to those close to you but Jesus will reward you with a solid loving, respectful relationship with Him and with those in His divine family.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Ropheka (God our healer) for healing me of the wounds inflicted upon me whose words cut deep because of my choice to walk with You. Please forgive them for they do not know what they are doing. I meekly thank you and ask for this forgiveness in the name of He who forgave those who mocked Him as he suffered upon the cross Jesus Christ. Amen

Being Watchful and Thankful.

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Colossians 4:2New International Version

 

Devote:  to commit by a solemn act ,devoted herself to serving God

2:  to give over or direct (as time, money, or effort) to a cause, enterprise, or activity Merriam-Webster Dictionary

 

It should be the best part of every day for every Christian to begin their day talking with the one whom  loves them the most. It is in faith that we believe He will answer our prayers in His way and in His time.

 

Watch for Jehovahs answer.

 

Most times in my walk with Christ He answers my prayers in unexpected ways in unexpected times. It constantly amazes me but we are also to watch for Jehovahs answer when the Spirit moves us.

 

For example I asked the Lord to deliver me from poverty. I expected a full time permanent job in my town. His answer was for me to move from my small town to a big city.. It is in faith that I obeyed and was richly rewarded for doing so

 

Be thankful for His answer.

 

It is polite and courteous to be thankful for when someone does something for you.

 

So too it is with Christians and so much more when our beloved Father in Heaven answers our prayers.

 

If someone is ungrateful towards me, good luck on getting my help afterwards.

 

Someone who only wants something from us while giving nothing in return is not a loving man or woman, they are abusive. Joseph- Anthony: Green

He Spreads the Snow.

These articles are dedicated to the wonderful and amazing way Jehovah Jireh (the Lord our provider) answers prayers. It is a simple journal that I would like to use as an example for others to list their sincere prayer requests and then how our Beloved answers them.                                                                                                                                       It will amaze you and create a heart of gratitude and respect for our gracious Jehovah Heseh (Our God of love).

He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes. Psalm 147:16 New International Version                                                        

As there is a snow storm predicted for our area I prayed that we would not get the storm but rather a constant gentle snow flurry.                                                                               

Yesterday morning when I woke up there was a constant gentle snow flurry outside which has lasted all day.                                                                                                             

This morning I awoke to see huge snowdrifts outside. We were blessed with over a foot of snow last night.                                                                                                                              

I am sure the kids like it because of a snow day but I am even more sure it delighted the farmers even more.

As well we need it to replenish our streams and rivers.     

Another benefit is it will cover the roots so they do not get frozen and the plants like tree’s die like they did last year.                                      

Because last month there was a shortage of snow we need a good snowfall for our crops and to prevent soil erosion during these winter months.     

Finally because of the cold and snow it will kill harmful pests that lay eggs in tree’s.                                                  

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Nuah. (God who blesses with rest) for blessing us with just the right amount of snow to nourish and protect the land while not deluding us to make it treacherous for locals driving to worship You at church today. I humbly thank you in the name of He who nourished the crowd of three thousand Jesus Christ. Amen.

The New is Here!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17 New International Version

We see on TV all the time: the new and improved!! Which I do not believe for a minute and it is my personal opinion it is just a gimmick.

When we welcome Christ into our lives it is the real thing.

When we accept Christ into our lives we the Holy Spirit begins a transformation in us.

It is like the caterpillar going into the cocoon to come out a beautiful butterfly. Now when the caterpillar is in the cocoon you can bet it is going through many struggles in its transformation.

 

So too it is with us.

Just because we have accepted Christ does not mean an instant change. It slowly takes place and the wonderful and amazing thing is, is that the transformation lasts until we either go to the other side or until Christ comes to take us to our Heavenly home.

Now do not be surprised if what you once enjoyed you not have no interest in and in many instances will find repugnant.

Do not be surprised when those around you do not understand the change and in many cases mock you and distance themselves from you. They are in your old materialistic world, but now you are in Christs spiritual world.

He has been transforming me for over twenty years and I am still a work in progress.

Yes it has cost me in many relationships that I was close with but that has been replaced by a loving bond with fellow members of Christs family that is so much deeper and rewarding than those left behind.

 

Prayer:  Thank you Jesus Christ Pyrrand (Jesus my friend) for blessing me with the most truly awesome and life fulfilling relationship and close bond with You my most amazing friend. It is such a privilege to know that I am THEOPHILUS= friend of God I exalt You in Your sweet loving name. Amen.
