With Grace and Tact

Have you ever watched water gush over a dam?

Imagine standing under its power. It would be extremely stupid and devastating.

In every relationship there are sore points and unresolved issues. When these sore points are brought up it is opening the flood gates of hurt and pain.

Instead of bringing them up whenever you cannot get your own way the most important thing to do is pray for resolution, preferably with a Christian councillor.

Most times the guilty party refuses to go into counselling, most times it is because of pride. One they do not want to admit they were wrong and two they do not want to take responsibility for their actions and three the injured soul does not want to let go of the hurt, they use it like a crutch and they use it to manipulate.

When the other party begins to go on this stupid wheel of destruction, it does cause deep cuts with the words that are said in the heated battle, just inform them that if they wish to continue the discussion we will do so in a Christian councillors office. If you refuse to do so it is an admission of guilt on your behalf. When you are mature enough and ready for reconciliation let me know and we will go to the Christian councillors office. Other wise this discussion is over. Then just walk away.

If someone refuses to go into mediation with you, walk away. They are not interested in resolution but rather in their favorite hobby, fighting. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Please Elohim Ozer Li (Psalms 54:4 GOD My Helper ) please help me to be a wise child of Yours and know how to resolve conflicts with wisdom and grace. When these conflicts involve the spawn of the devil who delight in fighting, manipulation and domineering rather than seeking resolution please bless me with the wise but firm words to inform them I am not playing their perverted little games and until they are ready to behave in a mature manner there is nothing more to be said. I humbly request this in the name of He who quieted the hypocrite Pharisee’s with grace and tact Jesus Christ. Amen

Bless Me to Enable Me To

“But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you. Luke 6:27-28 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Are you willing to?

It is our natural inclination to close our ears to words we do not wish to listen to.

Are you willing to suppress that and listen to The Holy Spirits voice as He convicts you?

It is our natural inclination to hate our enemies and make them suffer as much as we can.

Are you willing to love them?

That is not the mushy nonsense you see in movies or on TV.

It is an effort that can only be accomplished by surrendering to the power of The Holy Spirit. It does not mean that you condone nor tolerate abusive behaviour. If you love them you will help them to understand why they are abusive ( many times it is because of abuse they have suffered and have not been healed of ) and help them get counselling. If you love them you will not empower them by allowing this behaviour to continue but will allow them to suffer the consequences of their actions.

Purge yourself of toxic folks less their poison kills your love and you are rewarded with nothing but misery in return. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Are you willing to pray for Jehovah to open your eyes to the problem and to the solution ( including the fact that the problem may not be them but may be you ).

When others hate us it is natural to hate them back.

Are you willing to love your enemies by understanding why they hate you and seek reconciliation in the relationship. If they refuse are you willing to love them enough to behave in a respectful manner towards them. Are you willing to pray for Jehovah to open your eyes to the problem and to the solution ( including the fact that the problem may not be them but may be you ).

Please Jehovah ELOHIM YAKOL (God, the Most Able 2 Corinthians 9:8 ) bless me to enable me to conduct myself towards difficult folks in the noble manner in which Your gracious son Jesus Christ did. I wish not just for peace in this relationship but to use this situation to glorify You and to bring the little lost sheep into Your Heavenly fold. Please bless me with the strength and healing of ostracizing myself from toxic folks until they accept that their behaviour is not loving nor acceptable.

It is in the name of He who exemplified Christian behaviour towards others, Jesus Christ, that I humbly beseech You. Amen

The Next Time Someone Does

Do not lose your temper it only leads to harm. Psalm 37:8 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

The next time someone does or says something that I do not like I instantly stop! Then take a deep breath and pray to the Holy Spirit for wisdom, strength and grace on the proper manner in which to reply ( even if that means keeping my mouth shut ).

This will avoid a lot of hurt and regret by making the right choices at this point. This is the prayer that will be said:

Please Jesus, help me to look beyond what people say and see their heart.

Please forgive me for the times I have responded too quickly and foolishly in anger.

Please teach me to emulate You and be quick to listen, slow to speak and even slower to get angry.

It is in Your wise strong name I humbly, meekly ask this important request. Amen

May you be blessed with the gift of love, the gift of peace, the gift of joy. May you be blessed with numerous opportunities to share these gifts with others today.   Joseph a son of Jehovah

It Will Come Back and Bite You.

I have encountered pathological liars, they are arrogant and proud. When they spew forth their vile poison in conversation I fall for it but the Lord reveals their lies afterwards. The next time I encounter them they are questioned about what they said. They try to cover up one lie with another. I play with them and they keep on making themselves look like idiots and liars. Then they become enraged and cry baby that they are being picked on. I have no mercy on them because they do not deserve it. These are the type of scum that would steal the food from a starving man and expect him to thank them for it ( and I have seen that happen a lot). They are selfish, self centered and they need constant attention because they lack self confidence.

The sad thing that I have discovered is that the habitual liars refuse to believe the truth even when it is undisputedly placed in front of them.

On the same terms because they are so accustomed to lies they believe them when they are told to them and are constantly made suckers out of by other pathological liars. That is quite comical to watch to see who can scam who the most.

“He who permits himself to tell a lie once, finds it much easier to do it a second and third time, till at length it becomes habitual; he tells lies without attending to it, and truths without the world’s believing him. This falsehood of the tongue leads” Thomas Jefferson

Prayer: Please Jehovah Chereb ( Lord the Sword ) bless me with the right words to pierce deeply into the cold, wicked filthy hearts of the wicked to mortally wound them. This is done to protect the innocent ones that they prey upon and to ,by Your grace, bring them unto conviction of their wicked tongue and into repentance. Please hold back my tongue that it does not speak with hate nor vengeance nor pride nor perverted pleasure at enjoying watching them suffer. I humbly request this in the name of He whose words pierced deeply into the pharisee’s and scribes wicked hearts Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the gentle assurance of Jesus’ sweet love encompass you today and every day.

What do I Care.

The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in and puts his confidence in the Lord will be exalted and safe. Proverbs 29:25 Holy Bible Amplified Version.

Here are four very important words we all need to remember : “ What do I care. “

There are plenty of wolves ( those who like to prey upon the weak and tear them down ) both inside inside the church ( as a matter of fact , I have encountered more inside the church than outside ) and outside ( most of the ones I have met outside the church are the satanic politically correct whose idea of free speech and thought is that you are entitled to your opinion as long as it agrees with mine. If you disagree with mine your are intolerant , racist , homophobic or sexist ) .

When they attack you unfairly for standing up to for the Truth just reply : You are the intolerant one who refuses to listen to the truth. Therefore as pertaining to your “ opinion” “ What do I care. “ and just stand there and allow them to scream at you and look like fools. Either that or they will shut up and walk away.

When they try to gang up on you just ask the ring leader why they are afraid to debate with you one on one. I have used this quite successfully numerous times.

Indeed most times after the confrontation many folks come up to me and thank me for standing up for the Truth ( even if they are not Christians ).

The Lord is my light and my salvation— Whom shall I fear? Psalm 27:1 Holy Bible Amplified Version.

Then there are the ones that laugh at you because you do not follow them down the road of despair. They are in despair because they try to keep up with the Jones and the Jones keep on changing the rules. I dress as I feel comfortable and respectable.

When someone mocks me because I do not keep up with the “in crowd” I reason with them like why they “have to have “ the latest mobile phone when there is nothing wrong with the one they have now. It makes them look silly. The conversation is ended when they ask me what others think of me because I do not keep up with the crowd with “ What do I care. “ 

I then ask them if they are nurturing their spirit as much as they are big business’ wallet. They are informed that I care what Jesus believes in me not what the “ in crowd “ thinks of me. It is a great opportunity to open up a dialogue on the Christian walk.

The Question is, Who Listens?

 Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you to fear the Lord [with awe-inspired reverence and worship Him with obedience]. Psalm 34:11 Amplified Bible

No, that is not your conscience speaking to you, that is the Holy Spirit.

The devil is an expert at twisting the truth into a lie so if you depend upon your “conscience” you are easy prey for Him.

Then how will you know if it is the Holy Spirit or the devil?

The answer is in developing a deep personal relationship with Jehovah by reading your Bible and obeying what it says.

From my personal experience when I am reading the Bible and a verse jumps out at me, that is the Holy Spirit speaking to me. I stop reading and pray for enlightenment. Then he guide me to understanding the Bible verse in context to what He is saying about my life.

Another way is to listen to good sermon like on sermonaudio and reading good Christian books like can be found on sites like goodread and https://www.gutenberg.org (personally my preference is for the old classics). Of course we should also have godly Christian councilors.

The problem I have sadly witnessed too frequently is that even when others know Jehovah is speaking to them the deliberately chose to ignore Him because he is telling them something they do not want to hear. They want their way, not Jehovahs. That is a sure recipe for disaster. Then when catastrophes occur they go cry babying to Jehovah and ask why He is doing this to them.

God is speaking to all of us, all the time. The question is not, to whom does God talk? The question is, who listens? Neale Donald Walsch

Experienced the Same Dance

And Abraham came near and said, “Would You also destroy the righteous with the wicked?  Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it?  Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?”

So the Lord said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.”

Then Abraham answered and said, “Indeed now, I who am but dust and ashes have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose there were five less than the fifty righteous; would You destroy all of the city for lack offive?”

So He said, “If I find there forty-five, I will not destroy it. ”            

And he spoke to Him yet again and said, “Suppose there should be forty found there?”

So He said, “I will not do it for the sake of forty.”

 Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Suppose thirty should be found there?”

So He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.”

And he said, “Indeed now, I have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose twenty should be found there?”

So He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of twenty.”

Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there?”

And He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.” So the Lord went His way as soon as He had finished speaking with Abraham; and Abraham returned to his place.Genesis 18: 23- 33 New King James Version

                                                                                                                               

Notice that Jehovah knows that Abraham is pleading to save his nephew Lots life from the destruction of Sodom.                                                                                                                                     

Instead of coming right out and asking, Abraham dances around the bush. He had no doubt known the wickedness in that city and that it deserved to be destroyed but he was concerned about Lots life.                                                                                                                                                               

How many times do we do that with our Beloved?                                                                                                      

He knows what we want to ask but is patient with us as we dance around our request.                           

Most of the time I am polite but direct in my requests to Jehovah and to people.

                                                         

I have experienced the same dance when people want to ask me something. I want to scream at them and say just ask me already!

Instead of trying to manipulate Jehovah (which in a way is what Abraham was doing) do you not believe the respectful thing to do is to humbly ask Jehovah for what we want?                                   

Prayer: Thank You Jesus Pryyand (God is my friend) for the amazing privilege of having a loving Devine friend like You that is always available, willing to listen and grant my righteous request. Please remind me to be respectful and direct with my requests unto You. I gratefully ask this in Your awesome name. Amen.

Can It Convict You?

Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.  John 14:22-24 New King James Version

 

If Christianity were illegal today in your country can your neighbour convict you on your behaviour?

 

Can it convict you?

Does you attitude and behaviour give Jehovah a good name or a bad one?

 

Oh, none of are perfect and we all fall short but overall does your attitude and behaviour give glory to Jehovahs name or shame and ridicule?

When we were children we were told to behave because if we did not it would bring shame and disgrace to our family name (not that it was that good anyway).

We are Jehovahs children. What does our attitude and behaviour say of His family? Does it make your neighbours desire to be adopted into that family or does it make them want to run away?

That does not mean you have to be perfect but rather that you are so ingrained with the Holy Spirit that it shows in the way you live. When you are a new born you will make many mistakes but that is okay. We all you through the growing strong process. For some it will take years, for some decades but what is important is that you submit your life into the Master Potters hands so He can and will mold you into a beautiful vessel of His.

 

“Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’  But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’ There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, and yourselves thrust out. Prayer: Please Jehovah Elohim (God our Creator) create in me a heart and disposition that is the willing clay in the Master Potters hands. I humbly request this in the name of the Master Potter Jesus Christ. Amen.

If You Are Not Looking

How can you find God if you are not looking for Him?

How can you find God if you are not looking for Him?

How can you find God?

When you read your Bible and daily devotionals like : Our Daily Bread and Acts International by Dick Innes, when you listen to sermons online like sermonsaudio.com, when you talk with other Christians and listen to Christian music like on JoyFmonline.org or Prasie1065.com God will speak to you.

When He speaks to you listen to Him, talk with Him about like He is your best friend. Then obey what He is guiding you to do. Then you will develop the most amazing love affair. You will enjoy spending time with Him

He walks with me, and He talks with me, And He tells me I am His own; And the joys we share as we tarry there None other has ever known.C. Austin Miles

It Can Turn Them Against Him.

See how great a forest a little fire kindles!  And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.  For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind.  But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.  With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God.  Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. Choose your words carefully because as a Christian you are on display.

If you are critical or self righteous you will turn non-believers against Christ. For that you will be judged much harsher than a non-believer.

As well imagine the last words you say to someone is: I hate you!!” and then they get killed in an automobile accident.

How will you feel?

Believe me many people live the rest of their lives in regret because they do this.

Prayer: Please  Jehovah KalEl (voice of God) guide me words today that they will heal and bless rather that destroy. I humbly ask this in the name of He whose words were healing to the woman at the well Jesus Christ. Amen.
