He Hears You.

O You who hear prayer. Psalm 65:2 New King James Version

When you pray you are not praying to a dead idol made of wood or metal or some make believe fellow like Santa Claus or to dead souls, like the saints. That is foolishness.

Instead with reverence, love and sincerity pray to the living God whose throne is in Heaven.

He hears your cry when suffering sorrow. He blesses you with answers that give reassurance and healing.

He hears your cry when you need help. He answers with protection and resources to conquer your adversary.

He hears your cry when you are alone and feel dejected. He blesses you with filling you with His Divine love, comfort and encouragement. He hears your cry when you need guidance in your life. He blesses you with resources and guidance councilors to show you the path you must take.

He hears your cry when you are remorseful He not only forgives you but guides you in the proper manner to reconcile with the one you have done wrong. This blesses you with peace in your spirit.

He hears your cry when you need to learn something. He blesses you with wise teachers and mentors that reveal the knowledge you need.    And of course it is with pure delight he hears your song of praise for His love. To Him that is the sweetest song that ever exists. Of course when we are in a loving relationship we delight in sharing with the one we love how much we love them.

He cherishes your prayer of thank you when He blesses you. That is the respectful thing to do is it not? When you help someone does it not feel good when they thank you? How much more than should we thank our Beloved Father in Heaven when He blesses us?

GOD LOVES YOU

You do not need to make an appointment and he is never too busy. Jehovah is always there, Jehovah always cares. Joseph- Anthony: Green

When you continuously continue in a weakness (like being short tempered) He does not become exasperated with you and give up on you. When you honesty are repentant and humbly ask for forgiveness He will forgive you and thousand times a thousand.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Heseh (God is love) for being such a loving Father to this cherished child of Yours. Thank you for Your blessings of Your Hoy love, strength, wisdom, comfort and encouragement as Your never end provisions. I praise You in the name of Your most special blessing Your Holy Son Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ beautiful love bless you today and every day.

Given Me Life.

REST IN THE LORD

This is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life. Psalms 119:50 New King James Version

Remember that phrase from a popular movie :”Where ya gonna go?”

Well, where do you go when your heart is pierced like a knife?

The only logical answer is the Bible.

The Christian has peace because he knows he is loved and cared for the by the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christs sacrifice by the grace of Jehovah . Joseph- Anthony: Green

Read of those whose hearts where pierced by sadness and grief and see how Jehovah gently healed them.

Do you have no job and your money is running out? Turn to your Bible and read about those that suffered the same fate and see how Jehovah delivered them. Now do not expect something like the widow and the oil like with Elijah but take comfort and have reassurance that Jehovah will deliver you.

Are you suffering from some incurable disease and are slowly ebbing into your final days and are afraid of what death is like? Read your Bible and see how many of the patriarchs faced their final days.

Are you facing a death in your family, read your Bible and take comfort and strength in how they handled the situation?

Any and all tragic events in our life has been recorded in the Bible  in the lives of others to comfort and strengthen us.  Pray for Jehovah to guide you to the proper place in the Bible and to open your hearts and minds to what is occurring and how it relates to your present circumstance.

I do not need psychiatrists; I need the Bible to solve my problems. Joseph- Anthony: Green

And, if you read your Bible you will see that Jesus has experienced everything we have and so much more. So of course when we come to Him He understands. He has been there, done that.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-‘Uzam  (The Lord is our Strength in Trouble) for blessing me with Your awesome strength that has carried me through so many trials and tribulations, sorrows and snares. Thank you for Your Devine Book of wisdom to encourage and strengthen us, the Holy Bible through the valleys in our lives. I exalt You in the name of He who taught this to any and all who were willing to listen and obey Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Two Types of Guilt.

DELIVERANCE COMES FROM THE LORD

When He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth. John 16:13 New King James Version

There are two types of guilt.

One comes from the conviction from the Holy Spirit when we have done wrong.

The other comes from Satan which gives you a wrong impression that your sins are not forgiven when you repent.

One is healthy, the other destructive.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 New King James Version Many times the Holy Spirit has convicted me when I have been mean spirited (said or done nasty things to others). He will not leave me alone until I repent. This is good for our relational life, spiritual life with Jehovah and physical health.

Whenever Satan tries to bring up this past sin to lay an unwarranted guilt conscience on me I just remind him of Christ’s forgiveness. If we listen to Satan we will constantly be worried if we have been forgiven (some people will bring up past wrongs to try to manipulate me which is how Satan uses them. I wisely, meekly and humbly remind them of my repentance and that it is they who are committing the sin now not me by trying to enslave me to past wrongs so they can get something from me they do not deserve) and constantly trying to seek forgiveness where there is none to be sought.

Satan will work in other areas of your life as well i.e. you are fat, you do not spend enough time with family, your grades are not good enough, you do not make enough money.

Can you list any others?

Listening to him will destroy our spiritual life, our physical and mental health.

When Satan tries to lay a guilt conscience on me I just remind him that because I have repented I am forgiven. Then I ask him if he has repented to Jesus for all the wrong he has done to Jehovahs children. Joseph- Anthony: Green

That is when it is best to go to Jehovah in prayer and He will guide you to the truth and destroy Satans wicked schemes.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Hashopet  (The Lord is my Judge) for acquitting me of my filthy sin when I honestly repent unto You, the Supreme Judge. Thank you for teaching not to fall for the wicked filthy ones lies when he tries to lay a guilt conscience on me. I sing halleluiah to You in the name of He whose blood has washed me clean as fresh morning snow Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

He Took Me Where I Did Not Want To Go.

WE MUST LET GO

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9    New King James Version

When I completed my TESOL course the intention was to teach in Central America. The Lord however was directing me to China. I thought He was crazy and there was no way that destination was even on the radar.

As I love Jesus I obediently ventured to China even though there was dread in my heart because it was a communist country and I am a Christian.

It has been a difficult ten years travelling and teaching all along the coast from the north to the south. Through His wise guidance He has lead me to people who were open to listening about Him and accepting Him.

Sometimes the Lord will lead you where you do not want to go because you are afraid. Trust Him, obey Him and follow Him. He will be with you every step of the way.

Reflecting back on the experience the understanding came to me that His way was, is and always will be the best way.

A bonus is how much that in my difficult times and learning to trust in Him we have grown oh so very close.

What a marvelous blessing that is as well as the fact that I have helped guide others into Christ’s wonderful family.

Prayer: Thank you Holy Spirit Rohi (Holy Spirit our Sheppard) for being such a patient, wise and strong guide in my life to take me to the places You have prepared for me to do the work You have prepared for me. I praise You in the name of the greatest Sheppard Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Do You Know That is Satanic?

DEPARTING DEVILS

When you are filled with doubt or worry do you know that is satanic?

When you have doubts about having a job or enough money or anything in your life, especially concerning something you believe Jehovah is leading you to do, that is Satan whispering in your ear that God is a liar.

Jehovah has promised in His word, the Bible, that he will always provide for you but Satan puts doubt into your mind.

Didn’t he do that to Eve in the Garden of Eden? Eve listened to him and look what happened?

Put in Bible verse about Satan tempting Eve

Didn’t he do that to Jesus in the wilderness? Jesus countered with the word of God and look what happened?

Put in bible verse about Jesus’ temptation

What I do when that happens is to tell Satan to take a hike. I am a child of Gods and He promises to always take care of me. Looking in the Bible and reflecting back on my life, I see he has never broken a promise yet so I know he will not break one now.

Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything; tell God your needs and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand.” Philippians 4:6-7 Living Bible.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) for so abundantly providing for me daily needs. Please bless me with more spiritual strength to grow in faith in Your loving graciousness for my daily needs.  I sincerely ask this in the name of He who taught us to depend upon You for our daily needs Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

It Is Not Natural.

RESTLESS HEART

Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything; tell God your needs and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand.” Philippians 4:6-7

Worry is natural, faith is not.

When we encounter problems in our lives worry is the natural tendency.

But consider this: how many times has worry solved your problems?

Praying to Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) and having faith that He will answer is not natural, it is spiritual.

From my experience it has taken many years to develop faith so strong as to never doubt and even then doubt still occurs sometimes. It started out with little things that were prayed for and were answered. Gradually over time bigger and bigger challenges are given over to Jehovah and faith grows stronger.

Another help is to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to bless you with the power to have faith.

And of course, do not forget your manners and say thank you.

After all, why should Jehovah give to an ungrateful whining child?

An added bonus in being grateful is that the more grateful you are the more your life is filled with joy at both the smallest and the biggest answered prayers and the more joyous your life is in general.

Oh yeah, another bonus is how amazingly close you become with Jehovah Abba (God our father).

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Shalom (God of peace) for the blessing of amazing peace You envelope me in as I place my life in Your gracious hands. Please remind me to always humbly give thanks for Your abundant blessings as they come. I give thanks for these blessings and ask for this blessing in the name of He who had faith total in You as he walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.
