Jehovah ELOHIM YAKOL

Dear brothers and sisters, honor those who are your leaders in the Lord’s work. They work hard among you and give you spiritual guidance. Show them great respect and wholehearted love because of their work. 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Why not give this a try: Say thank you to the stock boys and girls as well as the cashiers at stores. They work hard for little money and receive little gratitude for their hard work.

Give your doctor and thank you card and a home made gift in appreciation for all their hard work. Think about it, they put in long hours and listen to nothing but complaining all day long. That is depressing.

Why not shake a cops hand and thank them for their difficult job. They get crapped on for doing their job and crapped on for not intervening when they cannot.

How about adding pastors, choirs masters, teachers to the list. And you know what?

In doing so, you will find you have a much happier life and mentality.

A grateful life is a joyous life. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Oh, and do not forget to say thank you to our Heavenly Poppa when He blesses you. As well, begin and end your day with saying thank you to Him for all the blessing great and small and see how good of a nights sleep you get.

The gift of love, the gift of joy, the gift of peace, these are the greatest gifts that can be given. They are given in abundance to all those in Christs family by our Heavenly loving  Father to be shared with others.

Did I get you?

Do you think I said “I am THE son of God?

No I am not THE son of God, but rather A son of God.

When I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior and agree to live according to Gods divine rules for membership in this Holy Family (Gods Law) I became a full fledged member of a divine family.

“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” Luke 10:27 The Holy Bible, The New International Version

When you are willing to do this, you are granted entrance into the best family. A loving Father who will always take care of you. A fantastic big brother who gave His all for you and the best Guidance Councillor, The Holy Spirit. When you join this family you are never alone, you are always loved.

What more could you ask for?

So here is the secret entrance key: “Jesus, I know I am a sinner and have messed up. I need Your love and guidance in my life. I know You died for me because You believe I am so special. Thank you. I accept You as my king, as my savior and as my best friend. I ask You to come into my life and teach me to be a good child of God. In Your loving name I pray. Amen.”

Do You Give it Back?

 “Blessed be God . . ., who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God” (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation.

Those of us who have been around the bush long enough have been through the meat grinder once or twice haven’t we. In those times of tribulation hasn’t God comforted you and encouraged you?

Hasn’t He in His divine love healed you?

So, where is your gratitude?

When someone does something nice for you, shouldn’t you return the favor?

When you see someone suffering shouldn’t you go to them and emulate what God did for you?

You know, the most painful and horrible experience in my life was being in an abusive relationship and the healing that took place afterwards.

In my teaching days I witnessed a lot of hurt and pain because of students being in an abusive situation. It broke my heart. I would sit them down and share my experience with them. Because I had walked that mile in their shoes they listened to me. In the end it helped guide many of them to Jesus.

Please for the love of Christ and your fellow men, when you see someone suffering reach  out to them.

Not only can it be a comforting and encouraging experience to them, it can also be an opportunity to share Jesus with them. This in turn may help bring them into our Holy family.

If you are experiencing a time of great difficulty and or pain and are reading this, take heart. God is not stupid. Perhaps He is allowing this experience to train you to help others in the future.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Uzam (The Lord is our Strength in Trouble) – Is 49:26 for blessing me with Your strength, comfort and encouragement when I endured the fiery times of trouble, anguish and confusion. Please bless me with the opportunity to pay it forward to someone who is experiencing the fire storms of life to help them and to guide them to the greatest Strengthener of all, You. In the name of He who was strong enough to endure the agony of the cross for His love of me, Jesus Christ I humbly ask. AMEN

What are You Willing to Pay?

Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Proverbs 4:7, New International Version

What are you willing to pay for a supreme loving relationship?

God says that we are to seek the kingdom of God first and He will add unto you (which means He will bless you).

So my question is: What are you willing to pay for the privilege of having the preeminent privilege of a true love relationship with God?

Are you willing to walk away from you job?

Are you willing to walk way from your family (Now I don’t believe that means to use this as an excuse for a divorce. That’s not possible as God hates divorce.) But, are you willing to walk away from your parents and siblings?

Are you willing to walk away from your friends?

You see the cost is guaranteed to be high. So will the reward be.

Are you willing to sacrifice your desires for the desires of Christ?

Above all the grace and gifts that Christ gives to his beloved is that of overcoming self. Francis of Assisi

Prayer: I know oh Jehovah Kanna (The Lord is Jealous) – Ex 34:14 that You are a jealous God that desires to have no one above You because that makes them or it an idol which takes away from loving You. Thank You for teaching me this and for empowering me to cast aside anything and everything that attempts to upsurge You. I thank You in the name of He who surrendered His own life to do Your will Jesus Christ. Amen

Are You Willing To

Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Galatians 5:24-25 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

In order for us to have a deep relationship with Jehovah first we must sacrifice the most important thing in our lives, we must sacrifice ourselves. Self is the opaque veil that hides the face of God from us. It can be removed only in spiritual experience, never by mere instruction.A. W. Tozer

Are you willing to perform that difficult sacrifice?

Let’s face it, without Christ everything we do we do for ourselves isn’t it ?

In our relationships isn’t it really all about ourselves?

Oh we may be dedicated husbands or wives, we may be dedicated parents, but what are our motives?

Isn’t it to satisfy a need to be loved and respected?

When we have all the latest toys isn’t it to satisfy ourselves or to impress people so as to inflate our ego?

On the other hand when we sacrifice ourselves unto God we put Him first.

Christ first, others second, self last is every Christians motto. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Now why would we do something stupid like that you ask?

Every Christian will reply it is in gratitude for His deep divine love for us.

Now, that does not sound stupid does it?

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Helech ‘Olam (The Lord our King Forever) Psalms 10:16 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation for blessing me with the honor of being Your humble, loyal servant. Thank you Holy Spirit for teaching me how to always put my Beloved King first and for blessing me with the strength to do so. I exalt You my Holy Beloved in Your majestic name. Amen

How do You Take Care Of ?

Those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. —1 Corinthians 12:22 New Living Translation.

Now if we are a family of Christ as Jehovah as our Father then there are big brothers and sisters and little brothers and sisters. The big brothers and sisters are the ones that have a deep understanding and experience with God. Their walk with God is strong. The babies are the new members of our family or the ones through no fault of their own are weak.

The big brothers and sisters should not be critical or haughty of the babies. They should nurture them, encourage them and be respectful towards them.   

The more mature Christian is to be loving, patient, encouraging, and mentoring to those who are not as far along the walk to Heaven as themselves. Joseph a son of Jehovah

The babies should listen to and obey their big brothers and sisters. When they speak to them with love about areas in their life that needs to be corrected they should not be insulted or hurt by the actions.

If we all behaved like this in the churches the churches would not decrease. Many churches are losing members because of the mean spiritedness of other members. Those hypocritical members are judgmental and condescending to the babies in the family. The babies are hurt and give the middle finger to the church and walk away. Indeed how many new members of the family walk away from Jesus because of this? I tell you true, their blood will be on the guiltiest hands (yes blood. Because they walk away from Jesus because of you, you are the reason they are going to hell.).

How do you think that makes Jesus feel?

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians 6:10 The Holy Bible, The New Living Translation

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Heseh (God is love) for lovingly blessing me with the Holy Spirit to teach me and help me to be the child You desire me to be. Please bless me to emulate Him to come along side those who are not as mature in their walk with You as I am (that does not mean childish but rather inexperienced) and to lovingly guide them to a deeper loving, obedient relationship with You. Thank you for the big brothers and sisters whom You have sent to mentor me and may I emulate them as well. I sincerely request this in the name of the greatest Teacher Jesus Christ. Amen

Which Book Are You Showing?

 One man pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth. Proverbs 13:7, New International Version

It is said that in China there are three sets of books. One set you show the tax man at tax time that shows you are poor.

One set you show people who want to invest in your company that says you are rich. In reality they are no where near that wealthy.

Next they have a set of book that states that they are one step from bankruptcy. Again it i a lie. They are doing okay but do not want to pay the taxes. 

How many times do we see rich people who claim to be poor and bankrupt to cheat investors out of money?

In reality they have tons of money stashed off shore and life like kings while laughing at the suckers they fooled.

At the opposite end of the scale, how many times do wee see poor people pretending to be rich (another phrase may be “Keeping up with the Jones’” Just out of curiosity, who are these Jones’ anyway? I have never met them, have you?) They strut around like they are so haughty and pretend to be wealthy but in reality they are in debt up to their eyeballs playing this stupid game.

It is not the fact that a person has riches that keeps them from heaven, but the fact that riches have them. Dr. Caird

Then lastly there is the real set of books which states how much the man or woman is really worth. That one they try to hide.

My motto is “who are you that I have to impress you?

This is me, if you like me let’s be friends, if you don’t like me let’s try to get along in spite of our differences.”

Now  we all want and need attention sometimes, but let’s be wise, not stupid.

If you pretend to be something you are not, when the truth is discovered you will be the laughing stock and will be humiliated.

On the other side of the coin is Jesus. He says: “Come as you are, warts and all. I will love you.”

Speaking from experience I can assure you that no earthly relationship can even begin to compare to the exhilarating and awesome relationship Jesus has to offer and will give to any and all who accept Him.

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! 1 John 3:1 New Living Translation

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Emet (God of truth) for blessing me with the wisdom and integrity to live the life of truth. You, Jehovah and the Holy Spirit are the only ones I desire to impress.

The Church on Cedar Street

 

Please pray that the church on Cedar Street gets a Christ centered pastor as the one there now is retiring at then end of this month and they do not have another one. Thank you.

Walk in Union with Him.

 Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin]. Colossians 2:6 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

How are we supposed to walk in union with Christ?

The first step is to pray for revelation with a sincere heart so we may be blessed with Holy communion with Him.

The second step is to read our Bible, read Christian literature and listen to Christian teachers as they expound upon Christs character and the Holy Spirits transformation of us into union with His Divine character.

This is a life time exercise that must become second nature to us in every aspect of our daily lives.

The more obedient we are to the Holy Spirits guidance the more He resides within us.

“True religion is a union of God with the soul, a real participation of the divine nature, the very image of God drawn upon the soul, or in the apostle’s phrase, it is Christ formed in us.” Henry Scougal

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Pryyand (God is my friend) for blessing me with the most incredible friendship possible. I cherish every moment we spend together. I praise You in the name of my best friend with whom I adore Jesus Christ. Amen

It is We Not Me.

It is we not me.

This is an important ingredient on your road to recovery. We all have destructive addictions. We cannot resolve them on our own, we need help. Therefore, it is we as in Jehovah and you not me that will provide the resolution.

How many of us make silly New Years Resolutions to quit these habits only to crash and burn when they try to accomplish it on their own?

How many succeed when they have councilors and trainers helping them?

The way to determine who is the best trainer and or councilor for you is to take it to Jehovah in prayer and be obedient unto His wise guidance. After all, who know you better the creator or the creation?

We will always fail in our attempts to live a Holy life because we are all imperfect.

Satan will use this opportunity to tear you down in an attempt to make you feel unworthy of being a member of Jehovah’s Holy family.

All is not lost.

Christ will never desert you. He will provide a way of restitution unto Him.

That , again , is why we need to surround ourselves with Godly councilors when we fall. They will not only help us deal with the reason for the fall but also help us to stand upon the Holy rock of Christ.

The wise will hear and increase their learning, And the person of understanding will acquire wise counsel and the skill [to steer his course wisely and lead others to the truth]. Proverbs 1:5 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah-Jireh (God is our Provider) for blessing me with wise councilors and trainers for my daily walk with You. They lead me away from catastrophes and towards Heavenly success towards my loving relationship with You and the Divine service unto You that You have chosen for me to take in my life dedicated unto You. I exalt You for this treasure in the name of the greatest provider Jesus Christ. Amen
