Why We Need To.

 All the Holy Writings are God-given and are made alive by Him. Man is helped when he is taught God’s Word. It shows what is wrong. It changes the way of a man’s life. It shows him how to be right with God. It gives the man who belongs to God everything he needs to work well for Him. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 The Holy Bible, The New Life Version

This is why we need to remember the Bible: The Bible is Jehovahs word. It is how He speaks to us.

It is like poppa directing every aspect of our lives to be children worthy to be called His treasured children.

Remember the things of long ago. For I am God, and there is no other. I am God, and there is no one like Me. Isaiah 46:9 The Holy Bible, The New Life Version

Reading the Bible every day reminds us of how Jehovah was faithful to those who belong to Him in the past. With this knowledge we are confident He will always be faithful to us.

Now for those of us that walked with Him for a while we need to recollect how He has been faithful in the past in our lives and share these encouraging events with those who are weak and new to the Walk.

When He had given thanks, He broke it and said,“Take this bread and eat it. This is My body which is broken for you. Do this to remember Me.” 1 Corinthians 11:24 The Holy Bible, The New Life Version

Reading of Christ’s crucifixion should bring tears to our eyes. Tears of gratitude for such an amazing sacrifice on our behalf. We should be thanking Him every single day. We also need to thank Him that because of His resurrection, we have been resurrected from the physical to the Heavenly Spiritual. We have been changed from suffering in the world which only leads to death to the glorious eternal communion with the Heavenly trinity which has prepared an awesome home for us.

“Can a woman forget her nursing child? Can she have no pity on the son to whom she gave birth? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. See, I have marked your names on My hands. Your walls are always before Me. Isaiah 49:15-16 The Holy Bible, The New Life Version

Reading the Bible helps us remember that no matter how terrifying the storms or dark the day, He has not forgotten us. Indeed, He is walking with us through it all. Reading the Bible every day helps us to have confidence that Jehovah is using these experiences to mould us to be the holy children He created us to be.

The Helper is the Holy Spirit. The Father will send Him in My place. He will teach you everything and help you remember everything I have told you. John 14:26 The Holy Bible, The New Life Version

Reading the Bible helps us remember that we have a Divine Helper who loves us and only wants what is best for us, we need only be attentive and obedient unto His voice.

Again, as we mature in the Walk, we become metamorphosed with the Holy Spirit. He is as much a part of us as our heart or lungs. We need to use these experiences to comfort and encourage those that are not as mature as us.

We live in a very dark world, how else are we to follow the light to our Heavenly home without reading the words that come from the Light to Heaven every day. Joseph a son of Jehovah

It Has not Crept Up.

 

 Do not cast me off nor send me away in the time of old age;do not abandon me when my strength fails and I am weak. Psalm 71:9 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Have you ever heard the old saying: “Old age has crept up on me.”

It has not crept up on me. It has come with numerous calling cards. I was reflecting upon this recently. I still go for long walks but now find there is a need for frequent stops for rest. Working in the garden all day doing heavy manual chores is a thing of the past. Even volunteering has taught me old age has not come a knocking but is already in my house ( my body). I used to be able to walk all day in the seniors home going from living area to living area. Now my knees will not take it. Working for Habitat for Humanity is challenging. I used to work very vigorously for ten hours straight in very difficult circumstances being a tree planter with no breaks but now there is a need frequent rests while doing things that were a breeze just a few short years ago.

The upside of it of course is the deeper wisdom Jehovah has blessed me with all these years. I love sharing it with the younger ones ( that are willing to listen).

Now there is less confidence in my abilities and complete confidence in Jehovahs unending abilities to take care of me.

There is so much less stress now. Now I can say with complete confidence that I know Jehovah will never desert me nor leave me.

We spend more time walking together and talking together ( no that is no senility it is a very real presence and conversation) which is deeply cherished.

So for all of you old fogies that despair of getting old I say I revel it my aging because it is so sweet, indeed, even Divine.

And, the most cherished of all, is having faith that there really is a heavenly home waiting for me where there is no such thing as an old dilapidated body but an awesome one which will be regenerated by my loving Heavenly Father.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Emunah (God is faithful) that You are faithful unto Your Divine vows to care for me in my old age. I exalt You in the name of my Faithful King whom shall greet me to the Heavenly Home He has faithfully promised awaits me upon my departure from this world Jesus Christ. Amen.

With a True and Sincere Heart.

 Let us approach [God] with a true and sincere heart in unqualified assurance of faith. Hebrews 10:22 Holy Bible Amplified Version

You cannot con, deceive or manipulate Jehovah so do not even try. When you have messed up fess up. Do not try to give excuses or try to shove the blame on someone else or circumstances. It does not work.

Instead, without excuses, humbly and sincerely apologize to Jehovah and ask how to reconcile what you done wrong. Then, no matter how hard, obey Him. The results are amazing.

If you want something from Jehovah do not try to bargain with Him.

How can you bargain with the Creator that has everything?

Do not foolishly try to make promises you cannot fulfill or refuse to one He has fulfilled His end of the bargain. Beware, when you do that you are trying to make a fool out of Jehovah and He will bring down severe judgment upon you and you will lose more that you gain.

Just, with a sincere heart ask of Him and accept His reply. Open your heart unto Him in all love gratefulness and respect and see how He blesses you with a deep close strong loving relationship with Him.

Prayer: Thank you Holy Spirit Rabbi (God our Teacher) for blessing me with teaching me to always have a sincere heart in all my conversations with my Beloved Father in Heaven, my loving King Jesus and You my wise Teacher. He is Always There.

 Your way [of escape for Your people] was through the sea, And Your paths through the great waters, And Your footprints were not traceable. Psalm 77:19 Holy Bible Amplified Version

There have been many times during my trials and tribulation, sorrows and snares in life that I cried out unto Jehovah to come and rescue me but believed He had deserted me. In reflection it was revealed that He is always there.

Do you think it is just a coincidence that that man or woman came into your life at just the right moment when you needed help but there was none forth coming?

When it seems as of you are walking through the desert with no job prospect do you think it is coincidence that that employment offer came along?

For me many times it was tiny ads in the newspaper that jumped out at me and would not let go until I took action on them. It always resulted in amazing accomplishments in my life. It helped me find employment, it helped me find good Christian councilors, it guided me to schools that Jehovah wanted me to attend to learn a skill that would be used in service unto Him later on. This is just but one example of Him being there without me even knowing it at the time.

So, no matter what ordeal you are experiencing now and it seems as if Jehovah has deserted you take comfort child of Jehovah He is always there.

Do You Adhere To

 But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name John 1:12 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Do you adhere to Christ?

To adhere to means to maintain loyalty and to bind oneself to observance ( adhere to the rules)

Are you loyal unto Christ?

Do you place your allegiance unto Him above your family, career and or possessions? Yes there are rules when you are a child of Jehovah (mainly Gods Law which states we are to do unto others as we would like them to do to us and to not do to others as we do not want them to do to us). Do you do to others as you would like them to do to you? That means to be respectful and to help others when you see they need help ( That does not mean to support those who refuse to take responsibility for their actions and refuse to help themselves. We “ owe “ them nothing ). Do you not do unto others as you do not want them to do to you ( that means no bullying or gossiping, backstabbing or cheating ) ? Do you trust Christ? Do you trust Christ with your finances? When He directs you to give of your finances even though it will hurt do you obey Him? Do you trust Him in your relationships? So say you meet someone you like but He sees what they are really like and directs you to end the relationship, do you trust Him to obey?

Do you rely upon Christ?

Do you daily rely upon Christ for guidance? So say you want a job and a good one is offered to you but you feel Christ saying no, will you walk away from it? Do you rely upon Christ in your interpersonal relationships? So say someone has done you wrong, do you rely upon Christ to give you the power to forgive them? If the abuse is habitual and Christ directs you to walk away from the relationship ( even if it is family ) will you walk away from them? Do you rely upon Him to find the proper spouse for you ( instead of the on line dating service where people can be as phony as a three dollar bill ) And, if He direct you to remain single will you rely upon Him to fill the void a spouse can fill?

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Ezer (The LORD our Helper) for helping me adhere to Your righteous Holy manner in my behaviour in my relationship to You. I exalt You in the name of He whose total manner emulated His complete adherence unto You Jesus Christ. Amen

The older we get the more our soul faints with in, except, for those of us who belong to Christ.

You know why our soul does not grow weak?

Because we have the greatest strengthener there can ever be. His name is Jehovah.

I cannot count the number of times my finances were exhausted and I had no job because of a recession. Yes money was put away for this inevitability but it was put into investments that a naive one like me did not realize that the investment firm would charge exorbitant charges for cashing in the investment and the blood sucker government would take a huge chunk as well leaving me with a pittance to hold me over. That is what happens when you trust in corporations in my opinion, they are out to make money off of you and do not want to pay out. It took many years to walk away from these scoundrels and depend upon the best investment councilor there is. His name is Jehovah. Since listening to His wise advice and obeying His guidance there has never been a shortage of fiances ( mind you part of that is learning to live frugally and not to be a part of the foolish materialistic world).

In my younger days I used to read a lot of self help books to improve myself. Some were good and are still referenced to today ( especially because they confirm what the Bible says) but most were complete rubbish (especially the ones written by the “ new agers” ).

Self help is no where near as effective as Jehovahs help. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Today I depend upon the wisest Guidance Councilor there is.

His name is Jehovah.

Through His guidance book ( the Holy Bible), good Christian councilors and preachers He has remolded me in so many incredible ways so that there is no semblance of the old creature but only a new and much improved child of His.

The same is said in dealing with interpersonal relationships. Yes there are still times when my soul becomes weak within me but when those times come ( and they always do ) the proper course of action is taken and the soul is strengthened. The proper course of course is taking it to my loving, wise Councilor.

His name is Jehovah.

Great and Priceless Treasure.

 Great and priceless treasure is in the house of the [consistently] righteous one [who seeks godly instruction and grows in wisdom], But trouble is in the income of the wicked one [who rejects the laws of God]. Proverbs 15:6 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

To me the greatest treasure is spiritual.

Therefore to me the greatest treasure is a loving relationship with Jehovah. This is indeed a priceless treasure, what is there that is even of equal value much less worth more?

The treasure chest consists of an endearing love that is constantly expanding. An assurance that Jehovah is always there to guide me through rough waters and to protect me from the tsunamis of troubles that is too great for me to bear. A awesome teacher that teaches me to be a child of His with integrity and teaches me how to avoid many troubles, that teaches me wisdom. A incredible relationship that blesses me with amazing spiritual strength to conquer and destroy weaknesses that attempt to destroy me.

Oh what a truly amazing treasure this is.

On the other hand there is much truth in the adage: There is no peace for the wicked. They are always fretting to the point of insomnia and paranoia about someone whom they have done wrong jumping out to get them. They toss and turn worrying about their material wealth vanishing and leaving them in the gutter. Then there is the suffering from enduring Jehovahs wrath for their evil wickedness. Their mental and physical health is slowly destroyed until they are a shell of a human being.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh (God is our Provider) for blessing me with providing me with a incredible loving relationship with You, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Thank you for the unending riches that comes with this blessing like peace, love, joy and confidence. How Much do You Trust?

  Then they asked Him, “What are we to do, so that we may habitually be doing the works of God?” Jesus answered, “This is the work of God: that you believe [adhere to, trust in, rely on, and have faith] in the One whom He has sent.” John 6:28-29 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Another word for faith is trust.

How much do you trust Jehovah?

Be careful.

If you declare that you have complete trust in Him He will put you to the test and how foolish will you look then.

Personally I do not believe any Christian has complete and total trust in Jehovah. That is why we need to say: yes I believe, help my belief.”

That does not make sense does it?

Yes it does completely make sense.

We have faith in what Jehovah says is true but many times there is reservations about what He is saying to us. That is why we need to request that He bless us with enlarging our faith.

“The just and upright shall live by faith.” Romans 1:17 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Every morning we need to ask by faith that Jehovah will direct our footsteps in our thoughts, words and deeds. Then, in trust we believe He will do it.

But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

If you do not trust (have faith ) in Jesus then why are you following someone you do not have faith in? Joseph- Anthony: Green

All Men have Seen.

 All men have seen God’s work Job 36:25 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Whenever anyone of these so called atheists challenge me to prove there is a God I humbly ask them to spend a day with me.

We will spend it in Gods Cathedral ( nature ).

This can be by a quiet little stream ,in the forest , in a meadow, by the shores of a lake or ocean.

I ask them to close their eyes and take a deep breath. After a few of these they are asked to slowly open their eyes. Then Jehovah reveals Himself to them through the serenade of the wild birds, the singing of the waves as they caress the shore, the beautiful gentle dance of wildflowers in the meadow or the hypnotic soft sway of trees as they preform natures ballet just like the wild flowers do, or look at the clouds as they dance across the sky.

They will drink in the intoxicating fragrance of the wildflowers or the musky scent from the forest. They feel the tender warmth of the sun as it wraps itself around them like a comforting warm blanket on a cold day.

They feel the delicate breeze softly caress them.

In the end they are at one with Jehovah being relaxed and at peace with themselves and the world.

The closer you get to nature, the closer you get to Jehovah. Joseph- Anthony; Green.

The question then is asked if they have experienced Jehovah now. Most will look at me with an expression of awe and wonderment like little children. Later of course the majority will deny this and flippantly mock it saying it was just nature that created this experience not a fairy tale creation in the sky.

Jesus Promised His Disciples Three Things.

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 Holy Bible Amplified Version

I find with each passing day Satan is controlling and enlarging his dominion over the world, it is called politically correct or liberalism.

They are becoming more brave with their filthy lies and demanding that everyone conform to their perverted way of thinking. If you disagree you will be branded as intolerant, racist, sexist or whatever ist.

We who are of Christ are to be fearless and stand up to their wicked filth and expose them for their hideous creatures they are. We are to be bold for Christ. If we do not speak up for the truth then how many gullible will fall for their lies and be dammed to Hell because of it.

This of course will mean you are in constant trouble with the “authorities” but that is to be expected. I am not afraid of them because the Holy Spirit blesses me with power and wisdom, which every child of satan is terrified of and hates.

The other thing I have observed is that there is an increase in mental illness and depression. The reason for this is because there can be and will be no peace and joy except that of those blessed with a Divine relationship with Christ. Yes we experience the same troubles as the world if not more. The difference is that we have Christ to comfort, encourage and guide us through our storms, the world does not.
