Do you think because you say a lot of words or use big words you are impressing Jehovah?
Have you ever met anyone that likes to use big words to impress you?
They always look like idiots to me. I met many people in China that always wanted to use big words to impress but did not understand their meaning.
As well it is a irritant when in church or at a meeting or before a meal they just say a prayer but it is just lip service.
If you want to impress Jehovah speak from the heart not the mind. Otherwise, just shut up because you are just wasting your time, God is not listening.

In Jesus’ day they had a place to put your offerings for the temple that looked like a trumpet. It was built out of tin, so that when your offering was put in it made a sound. Each type of money was a different weight so that one worth a lot of money had a lot of weight to it while one that was of little value was small and little weight. Therefore when the rich put in the heavy coins it made a lot of sound and made them look important.
So what Jesus is saying is do not give to any cause just to look good to others. You may look good to others but Jehovah is not impressed if you are doing it for your ego. On the other hand any act done for Christ, no matter how small it looks to others impresses Jesus.
So the question is: who are you trying to impress?
Prayer: Please Jehovah Yahweh (God of His people) please grant me the grace to be an grateful child that desires to impress You with me worship and dedication to You. I beseech You in the name of he who dedicated His entire earthly life to being Your holy obedient son Jesus Christ. Amen.

When you are filled with doubt or worry do you know that is satanic?
When you have doubts about having a job or enough money or anything in your life, especially concerning something you believe Jehovah is leading you to do, that is Satan whispering in your ear that God is a liar.
Jehovah has promised in His word, the Bible, that he will always provide for you but Satan puts doubt into your mind.
Didn’t he do that to Eve in the Garden of Eden? Eve listened to him and look what happened?

Didn’t he do that to Jesus in the wilderness? Jesus countered with the word of God and look what happened?

What I do when that happens is to tell Satan to take a hike. I am a child of Gods and He promises to always take care of me. Looking in the Bible and reflecting back on my life, I see he has never broken a promise yet so I know he will not break one now.
“Don’t worry about anything; instead pray about everything; tell God your needs and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand.” Philippians 4:6-7 Living Bible.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh (God our provider) for so abundantly providing for me daily needs. Please bless me with more spiritual strength to grow in faith in Your loving graciousness for my daily needs. One day I was lying by a big generator by a river enjoying peace and quiet.
Living in a city in China it is very noisy so it is a treasured time to enjoy the quiet steady drum of the generator drowning out the noise around me.
I felt the Holy Spirit directing to get up a go home, a storm was coming.
There was only one tiny black cloud in the sky and I laughed about it.
The feeling kept getting stronger until I finally got up and started back to the apartment.
Just as I reached toilet facilities in the park, a monsoon downpour came thundering in with lightning exploding all around.
If you have ever experienced a monsoon rain you will believe that in ten minutes it rains so much the streets are so flooded you can take a canoe down them like in rapids.
After ten minutes the rain passed.
How many times have we experienced a warning from the Holy Spirit, looked around, saw no danger and ignored the warning. Then, in the blink of an eye, disaster strikes.
Afterwards we cry out to God and asked why He did not warn us?
Prayer: Please Jehovah KalEl (voice of God) bestow me with the wisdom to be receptive and obedient to Your divine word. I sincerely ask this in the name of He who always was an obedient son Jesus Christ. Amen

There is an old saying that says we reap what we sow.
So what is in your harvest?
Are you only concerned about yourself?
Is your motto: What’s in it for me?”
When I was in China that was my experience with the Chinese.
From my experience Chinaman will give you a nickel but expect a dollars worth of services in exchange.
A good point in case is a Chinaman will take me to restaurant and buy me a meal that costs ten dollars and expect me to sit there and teach them English for two hours. If they paid me an hourly rate it would cost them two hundred dollars. When I explain that they get what they pay for. That means if they want two hours classes they will pay BEFORE the class begins. The reason for paying before the class begins is because they will try to drag the class out for three hours or four hours and only pay for two or they will say they do not have the money this week but will pay next week and of course will keep this up as long as they can. Needless to say they look at you like you are dog dung on the sidewalk and walk away angry swearing at you in Chinese. Another thing they are famous for is being my friend as long as they can get something for free from me. When they cannot get it anymore or do not need it anymore I cease to exist to them.
As a consequence they reap what they sow.
From what I saw, their lives are very sad and empty. They have no real friends, do not know what real friendship or love is and are very depressed.
So how about you, does that describe your friendships and your life?
Why do you think there is so much suicide?
Is it because people are lonely?
Why are they lonely?
Could it be because they only care about themselves and so have no real friends or anyone to love them?
Is that not evil and self centered?

Do you notice the important key word in this passage?
It is IF.
In other words we are to pray for Gods will to be done in any situation we are asking help in instead of our will.
Too many people in the Christian community mistakenly pray for our will to be done in a situation instead of Gods will. Sometimes it will not be the answer you want, however God see’s the big picture while we see only the little one.
For example I prayed the Lord bless me with getting a contract and he did not give it to me when I really needed the money.
I was very disappointed.
However, a couple of months later I found out the employer cheated all his employees out of their wages. Boy was I ever glad I did not get that contract.
That is why we must trust the Lord is doing what is right for us even when it does not look like it to us.
I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Psalms 34:4 New International Version
Prayer: Please Jehovah KalEl (voice of God) bless me to be open and obedient to Your wise word even if it is not what the answer is not the one I desire. I humbly request this in the name of He who was obedient to You even to the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.

When I was a teacher we would always get into discussions about why I live different from other foreign teachers the Chinese students have met. It would be explained to them that I was a Christian. Then we would get into debates about Christianity. After about six months there would only be about four students out of a class of fifty that would be open to accepting Christ.
That was because just as there were many that heard but not all accepted with Peter.
So too it was with me and so too it will be with you.
It is only those whose heart is open to hearing the Word that will be receptive to the Word. So give the message, if people’s hearts are open they will come to you, if their hearts are closed it does not matter what you say or do, they will refuse to listen and you are therefore wasting both their time and yours.
Prayer: Please Jehovah KalEl (voice of God) bless me to be your voice to the people. Please give me the wisdom to be open to those who are receptive to Your life giving word. Please give me the wisdom and grace to be hospitipal to those who reject Your wise word. I humbly request this in the name of he who taught us the proper manner in behaving towards others Jesus Christ. Amen.

Here is a little game for you to play that you may find very revealing.
Keep a tally of how many times you say I did or I got in a day.
Then see how many times you see how many times you thank the Lord in a day.
Now compare them.
How humble are you?
How grateful are you towards Jehovah Jireh (God who provides).
How many times does He grant you when you do not even thank Him for the blessings he has already given you?
Why should He?
I do it Jehovah’s way with a humble heart and most of my requests are granted.
Here is a good example: It is a forty minute walk to the library. During monsoon season storms can come up in five minutes and they are a downpour. I humbly ask the Lord to keep the rain at bay during the walk (which surprise, surprise He does). When arriving at the library thanks is given for nice weather. Before leaving for the library I humbly request there is a certain table there the computer can be plugged into and it is relatively quiet. Surprise, surprise, the table is always there even though there is a blocks long line up waiting for the library to open and when it does all the tables are taken in ten minutes. Again, humble and sincere thanks are given for this blessing.
How many times would you have given thanks?

As you grow in Christ you will slowly change to become more like Him. Most of the change is very subtle and you will not even be aware of it.
So when people mention how much you have changed do not be arrogant and brag about it as if it was of your own accomplishment.
Instead give praise where it belongs to Jehovah.
Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Elohim (God our creator) for the wonderful blessing of slowly creating me to be the child you desire me to be. It is a delightful privilege to be so honoured. I humbly ask this in the name of he who accomplished Your amazing purpose on the cross Jesus Christ. Amen.

For it is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened — those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come — and who then turn away from God. There is a big misconception amongst many Christians regarding salvation.
They believe once saved, always saved.
This verse seems to contradict that believe very strongly.
Now some may reply that they were not real Christians to begin with.
That may be true but it is also true that for many it starts with a little turning away like not praying, then it escalates into not reading your Bible, not associating with brothers and sisters, not praying and eventually cumulating in complete withdrawal from Christ.
So, yes they can, will and do lose their salvation.
I have seen it in numerous Christians who once were very strong in the walk but are now no more Christian than Satan.
That is why we are to stay alert and prayerful every day.
It also helps to have at least one fellow believer that holds you accountable. There is, after all, strength in numbers. And just as we need mentor so too do we need to mentor others.
Prayer: Please Holy Spirit knock me over the head if necessary to prevent me from taking one step out of Your divine guidance in my life. I cannot imagine nor do I desire to living one moment without Jehovah, Jesus and You in my life. I respectfully request this request in the name of He who paid such a high price for my acceptance into this hollowed family Jesus Christ. Amen.
