How to Get Superpower

Do you want to know how to get superpower?

When we accept Jesus as our saviour and king, we are blessed with the Holy Spirit. He blesses us with super powers.

No one can bless us with the superior wisdom like He does for every aspect of our lives.

No one can conquer our destructive habits like He can.

No one can defeat our enemies like He can. No one can give us super power to resist temptation like He can.

And, the best of all, these powers are ours for the asking whenever we need them to help us be faithful, obedient servants unto Christ.

Unlike TV or movies, Christ’s powers are real and unconquerable. Joseph a son of Jehovah

A Pathway For the Work Of

 “What is more pleasing to the Lord: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.1 Samuel 15:22 Holy Bible, New Living Translation

What an incredible path He has chosen for me to follow. My Beloved slowly transformed me from a country hick into a obedient son of His.

The path went from moving to the city from the farm (which was a huge act of faith and was terrifying to do) and learning natural medicine to planting tree’s in Gods garden (I say the earth is Gods garden and we are His caretakers). From there He had me slowing seeds for His two legged garden (that is, bringing souls into His family) in China. Next He moved me to come home and be a live in care giver to a challenging mother. None of this was conceivable when I was a child shy sick.

It was accomplished through obedience unto my Heavenly King and working in harmony with the Holy Spirit.

“Obedience, pure and simple, opens up a pathway for the work of God.” — David Stevens

Now Christ, our king may not have such challenging duties (duty is an act of love, obligation is an exchange of goods, i.e. I am obligated to work for an employer as he is obligated to pay me for that work). But, every act of worship no matter how big or small is an act of love unto our Heavenly Father Jehovah and His son our King Jesus

There is no act of love unto Christ no matter how big or small that is no great in Heaven Joseph a son of Jehovah  

Prayer: Thank you Jesus Hamelech ( Jesus my Lord King ) for the honour of being Your humble loyal obedient servant and for the numerous opportunities You present to me to serve You. I exalt You in Your majestic name. Amen

Whatever is beautiful, whatever is meaningful, whatever brings you joy, may you be blessed with an abundance of it this every day this year.

Enter Fully Into that Difficult Existence

The Spirit alone gives eternal life. John 6:63 New Living Translation Bible

There is no good going to a retreat and meditating on your belly button lint to get in touch with your inner self and then going back to everyday life. These week retreats are nothing more than a waste of money in my opinion. If you desire a spiritual life it must be a full time commitment to the Holy Spirit. You will not receive one from the Buddhists.

It will be a difficult existence because you are in a different world than those around you. You will be in tune with the voice of Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. To obey these three is complete nonsense to the world.

We have the Charity of God beat within us as it beats with in the heart of He who showed us what it looks like when He walked amongst us Jesus Christ. That is we are called to suffer long (this means , we are kind; we envieth not, we are not puffed up, we seek not our own, we are  not easily provoked, we think no evil, we rejoice not in iniquity, but in the truth; we bear all things, believe all things, hope in all things, endure in all things.

“The spiritual life is a stern choice. It is not a consoling retreat from the difficulties of existence, but an invitation to enter fully into that difficult existence, and there apply the Charity of God, and bear the cost.” — Evelyn Underhill

Carries Us to the Sea Of

 But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness Galatians 5:22 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

We emulate the one we love and idolize.

As Christians that means we are to transform ourselves to behave as our best friend Jesus showed by His example while here on earth. We are to be led by the Holy Spirit where He has specific plans prepared for us. It is difficult at first (speaking from first hand knowledge) but becomes as natural as breathing the more we are obedient unto His direction. Now take this to heart and never forget it. Even though the ones we are gracious to may be ungrateful (which from experience they are) there are those who are watching that it will have a profound effect on.

One time when in China I used to give food instead of money to beggars (for which the vast majority was very angry for). After about a month I noticed many of the folks around that area were giving food to the beggars instead of nothing. This was a curious behavior because the beggars are usually ignored. Then the Lord brought enlightenment to me that they were emulating my actions. Wow.

And, remember this: “There is no small act of kindness that is not great in Heaven.” Joseph a son of Jehovah

“The stream of spontaneous acts of Godly kindness carries us to the sea of contentment and peace.” — Constance Hurst-Howard

One thing to remember as well as that there are certain area’s we are not to go to because they are unworthy and nothing good will come of our actions. Yes there were some area’s Jesus refused to preform any miracles in because of their unbelief so it would have been a waste of time. That is why it is imperative to depend upon the Holy Spirits guidance. He knows where to best invest your time, efforts and finances.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Shalom (The Lord blesses with Peace) for blessing me with joy in my heart and peace in my mind when I obey Your guidance to preform spontaneous acts of kindness to others. May it be a floodlight for others to see Your astounding love. I thank You in the name of He who preformed the most incredible acts of kindness during His earthly ministry Jesus Christ. Amen

In Such a Way That .

 Focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith [the first incentive for our belief and the One who brings our faith to maturity], who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work]. Hebrews 12:2 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Jesus demonstrated His love for us at a high cost. Knowing and understanding this should create an awe and deep love for Him. Yes we are to exhibit towards Him by understanding, however He requires that we pass along His style of love towards others as an act of worship towards Him.

Love is an action not an emotion. Joseph a son of Jehovah

We accomplish this in our attitude towards others by not being arrogant nor abusive towards them but rather by being caring and respectful.

We serve Jehovah by serving with in our community. We need not be a missionary in some foreign land when there are ample opportunities all around us every day.

Of course we require knowledge of how to serve, when to serve and where to serve. Doing this on our own will only lead to disaster. We need the supreme teacher to instruct us in the way to accomplish the deeds Jehovah has prepared for us to do.

Now there is no sense in teaching someone to fish if they will never us those skills or go fishing in the first place. When the Holy Spirit enlightens us we are to be obedient and put into practice that which He has indoctrinated into us.

“The knowledge of Christ’s love for us should cause us to love Him in such a way that it is demonstrated in our attitude, conduct, and commitment to serve God. Spiritual maturity is marked by spiritual knowledge being put into action.” Edward Bedore

Prayer:I humbly ask of You Holy Spirit my master teacher to constantly instill in this child of the most Divine Love appropriate words, actions and thoughts of love which will exhibit my appreciation for such and wonderful gift He has blessed me with. I sincerely request this in the name of He who showed us Your Divine love when He walked amongst us Jesus Christ. Amen

Trust Him For the Rest of the Way. ‘

Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’ Isaiah 41:10 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

In our walk with Jehovah there is constant fear. That is because Jehovah is constantly calling us to step out into the known and trust in His guidance and provision.

From personal experience it can not be fearful but down right terrifying.

He always calls us out in baby steps in the beginning of our walk with Him and each time we listen and obey we see His providence and then He asks us to take bigger steps as we mature in our relationship with Him. When you are obedient unto Him, you will be amazed at the incredible things He will accomplish in your life and through your life.

Even for us that have walked with Him for a long time there are still times of fear in listening to and obeying Him. The thing is though, that the more you step out into the unknown in obedience, the more you learn to trust and have confidence in Him. In reflection in our walk with Him we will be in constant awe and admiration for Him for succeeding in doing so many impossible feats in our lives and what He has done through our lives .

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Immanuel (God is with us) for benefiting me with Your Holy presence throughout my life. May my confidence in You and the rest of the trinity grow stronger every day. I exalt Thee in the name of He who encourages me constantly Jesus Christ. Amen

Commit Your Works

Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him], And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].Proverbs 16:3 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Most times I have attempted to accomplish anything on my own it always failed miserably.

When I submitted my plans to Jehovah, He may have suggested not to attempt them.

Being stubborn and independent I refused to listen to Him and the end result was always a disaster. Many times I have submitted my plans to Jehovah and He graciously suggested tweaks to them. I felt insulted and refused to listen to Him. The end result was complete failure.

It took many decades to learn to take every plan to Him and be obedient unto His guidance, no matter how weird or unconventional they were, which has led to successes like I never could have dreamed possible.

If you wish for success in life, first take your plans to He who is the best Guidance Councillor, Jehovah. Then listen and obey Him. This is the sure fire recipe for success in life. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Thank you El-Deah God of knowledge for blessing me with Your infinite knowledge of the best course of action to take in every aspect of my life. It prevents a lot of disaster and guarantees success. I praise You for this cherished treasure in the name of the wisest Teacher of all Jesus Christ. Amen

Show Real Desire For

                                     

Repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins, live your life in a way that proves repentance; seek God’s purpose for your life] Matthew 3:2 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

There is a proverb that says there is no helping an alcoholic until they want to help themselves. This is oh so very true.

Well, it is the same with the Christian. We can call out to Jehovah to help us with problems and we wonder why He is silent. Perhaps He is waiting to see just how much you desire to take the medicine to solve the problem.

So say you are calling out to Jehovah due to financial restraints. He is waiting to see if you are willing to take responsibility for your foolish spending, like paying extravagant money for a cup of coffee you can make at home for a fraction of the price. You know that is foolish but have pride to be one of the gang at school or work. Why should Jehovah offer any help to you when you refuse to take the first step? If you will not take that first step on your own, you most certainly will not follow His suggestions on how to improve your situation.

As well, He is seeing just how much faith (which means trust) we have in Him. The next part of the equation may mean a huge leap of faith.

So say you are having relationship problems but when He directs you to Godly councilors, you do not trust Him in His selection of councilor and you refuse to listen and obey to the advice He gives. It may sound insane to you but you have to take that first step out of faith in the Lord. Then He takes you by the hand through the rest of the steps. Finally there will be success. This may take years to accomplish.

Prayer: Please Jehovah ‘Immeku (The Lord Is With You) enable me to always have a deep desire to be obedient unto Your providential advice.

Please nurture in me a faith that grows stronger in You day by day.

I humbly request this in the name of He who was always obedient unto You all the way to the cross Jesus Christ. Amen

People Who Don’t Commit

                                                                              

Commit your way to the Lord; Trust in Him also and He will do it. Psalm 37:5 Holy Bible Amplified Version

There are too many marshmallow Christians and not enough refined Christians.

How much of your life do you commit unto Christ?

Before you get out of bed in the morning do you pray and commit yourself to do Jehovah’s will during the day?

Do you commit to love Him by loving others (covertly so as to bring glory to Jehovah and not to you)?

Do you commit to asking and obeying Jehovahs choice for a new vehicle?

Do you commit to asking and obeying where Jehovah desires you to give your one tenth to?

Do you commit to asking and obeying His advice in any and all disputes (believe me, it prevents a lot of disasters) ?

Personally speaking I do not make a move without taking it to my Heavenly Father first for His Divine wise advice. Then, no matter how difficult I follow His instructions. Of course, there are times when I behave independently and boy do I pay for it in disasters of my own making.

“People who don’t commit their whole heart to God, will not love Him at all, since their wickedness will overtake their personal thoughts and actions, which contradicts God’s lifestyle, Works, Ethics, and Word.” ~ Jon Barnes

Prayer: It is the greatest honour Jesus Helech ‘Olam (The Lord our King Forever) to be Your obedient humble servant and I thank you for this glory in Your majestic name. Amen.

Go with Them

 

                                          

Get up, go downstairs and go with them without hesitating or doubting, because I have sent them Myself.” Acts 10:20 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Sometimes in life we encounter someone who the Lord desires for us to go to. Because we do not know them or where they want us to go we hesitate even though we feel the Lords urging to go with them. When the Lord says go, we are to go.

One time when I was unemployed I felt the Lord informing me to go to a certain town. I knew no body there. As soon as I got off the bus a man approached me and inquired if I was seeking working and when informed yes was told to put my gear in the back of his truck and let’s go. I did not know him or where we were going. It ended up being the best contract ever in that vocation of thirteen years.

We must not go on our own impulses but only by the certain voice of Jehovah, especially for our own safety.

Even though we do not see the end of the trail if Christ is guiding us there we must travel it in faith that His unseen hand is guiding along the way. Joseph a son of Jehovah

Prayer: Please Jehovah Kal El (voice of God) bless me to always be attentive and obedient unto Your voice when You are directing me unto others. Please bless me with discernment as to whether this is Your voice or the the scheming voice of the wicked one (satan) which will be leading me to disaster. I humbly request this in the name of He who listened and obeyed Your voice all the way to the cross Jesus Christ. Amen
