Do You Adhere To

Do you adhere to Christ?

To adhere to means to maintain loyalty and to bind oneself to observance ( adhere to the rules)

Are you loyal unto Christ?

Do you place your allegiance unto Him above your family, career and or possessions? Yes there are rules when you are a child of Jehovah (mainly Gods Law which states we are to do unto others as we would like them to do to us and to not do to others as we do not want them to do to us). Do you do to others as you would like them to do to you? That means to be respectful and to help others when you see they need help ( That does not mean to support those who refuse to take responsibility for their actions and refuse to help themselves. We “ owe “ them nothing ). Do you not do unto others as you do not want them to do to you ( that means no bullying or gossiping, backstabbing or cheating ) ? Do you trust Christ? Do you trust Christ with your finances? When He directs you to give of your finances even though it will hurt do you obey Him? Do you trust Him in your relationships? So say you meet someone you like but He sees what they are really like and directs you to end the relationship, do you trust Him to obey?

Do you rely upon Christ?

Do you daily rely upon Christ for guidance? So say you want a job and a good one is offered to you but you feel Christ saying no, will you walk away from it? Do you rely upon Christ in your interpersonal relationships? So say someone has done you wrong, do you rely upon Christ to give you the power to forgive them? If the abuse is habitual and Christ directs you to walk away from the relationship ( even if it is family ) will you walk away from them? Do you rely upon Him to find the proper spouse for you ( instead of the on line dating service where people can be as phony as a three dollar bill ) And, if He direct you to remain single will you rely upon Him to fill the void a spouse can fill?

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Ezer (The LORD our Helper) for helping me adhere to Your righteous Holy manner in my behaviour in my relationship to You. I exalt You in the name of He whose total manner emulated His complete adherence unto You Jesus Christ. Amen

Are You a Covenant of Salt?

 All the offerings of the holy things, which the Israelites offer to the Lord I have given to you and to your sons and your daughters with you as a continual allotment. It is an everlasting covenant of salt [that cannot be dissolved or violated] before the Lord to you and to your descendants with you.” Numbers 18:19 Holy Bible Amplified Version

Are You a Covenant of Salt?

A covenant of salt is where a bride and groom would take salt and put it together in a container and shake it. Their marriage vows could be annulled if they could take back their own salt. This of course was impossible.

Are you a covenant of salt with Christ?

Is your spirit and body mixed with His so intimately that it is impossible to separate them? Before spending a dime does Christ come before self? Do you spend intimate time with Him every day and through out the day? Do you dedicate time to pleasing Him by serving others before you allow for one moment of pleasing self?

The Very Best and Highest Attainment.

 “Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

There have been numerous times when I behaved with integrity and was called up on the carpet for it on employment contracts. I was afraid and did not know what to say so did the only option available to me:I got down on my knees and prayed. When the show down occurred many in the crowd laughed foolishly believing that I was going to suffer greatly for my integrity. I opened my mouth and the Holy Spirit spoke through me. The crowd was silent and most times the judge ruled in my favor. The wicked ones were the losers in the encounter no matter how many of them there were, who their connections were or how much money or power they thought they had.

There have been times of disaster when I knew not what to say nor the actions to take. I sincerely intensely prayed and the Holy Spirit guided my words and actions that relieved the suffering and steered those around me away from the disaster. Afterwards I wondered where that wisdom and strength came form and praised Jehovah for it upon reflection.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Kal El (voice of God) for speaking through me when brought before the authorities. Thank you for blessing me with encouraging, healing and strengthening words to share with those enduring disasters. I extol Thee in the name of He whose words shamed the wicked ones and healed the sick , hurt and infirm ones Jesus Christ. Amen.

The More We Become Like Him.

 Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well beloved children [imitate their father]. Ephesians 5:1 The Holy Bible Amplified Version

Whether you like it or not when you become an adult your personality and disposition always imitates one of your parents. Being older now I can see this through four generations.

Now the more time we spend with someone the more we become like them ( just ask any couple that has been married for thirty years or more ) so it only stands to reason that the more time we spend with Christ the more we become like Him.

Now just like with any family there are rules of conduct and behaviour.

So too it is with Jesus’ family. Many of these rules will be foreign to us and down right unattainable. That is when we are blessed with the Divine assistance of the Holy Spirit who will mentor us through the muddy waters and discipline us when we go astray. The more we attain this the more we resemble Christ.

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Abba (God our Father) for all the help you have made in encouraging, guiding and moulding this child of Yours to emulate His cherished Heavenly Beloved every day in every way. Jesus Promised His Disciples Three Things.

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 Holy Bible Amplified Version

I find with each passing day Satan is controlling and enlarging his dominion over the world, it is called politically correct or liberalism.

They are becoming more brave with their filthy lies and demanding that everyone conform to their perverted way of thinking. If you disagree you will be branded as intolerant, racist, sexist or whatever ist.

We who are of Christ are to be fearless and stand up to their wicked filth and expose them for their hideous creatures they are. We are to be bold for Christ. If we do not speak up for the truth then how many gullible will fall for their lies and be dammed to Hell because of it.

This of course will mean you are in constant trouble with the “authorities” but that is to be expected. I am not afraid of them because the Holy Spirit blesses me with power and wisdom, which every child of satan is terrified of and hates.

The other thing I have observed is that there is an increase in mental illness and depression. The reason for this is because there can be and will be no peace and joy except that of those blessed with a Divine relationship with Christ. Yes we experience the same troubles as the world if not more. The difference is that we have Christ to comfort, encourage and guide us through our storms, the world does not.

It is No Longer I Who Live.

 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. Galatians 2:20 New King James Version

Have you gone through your crucifixion yet?

Every Christian must be crucified.

What that means is that there is something or someone we love more than Christ. What it all boils down to though is that through this love you are really loving yourself. So if you love a car it is because it makes you feel important and cool. That in essence is self love and that must be crucified.

If you are a Christian man or woman you are a walking dead man or woman. You are dead to the world and dead to self. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Before Christ can nurture a loving relationship with us and use us in His Kingdom this must be crucified first. It is the most painful experience of your life but on the other side of it you will praise Jehovah for allowing it to happen to you and for the Holy Spirit for walking through it with you every day.

You Are the Light.

  “You are the light of [Christ to] the world. Matthew 5: 14 Holy Bible Amplified Version

This can be looked at as awesome ( awesome means to be in awe of and awe means an emotion variously combining dread, and wonder that is inspired by authority ) as young folk like to throw around today with out knowing what it means. It is also a very weighty matter.

Think of it, we are Christs ambassadors to the world.

When others look at you what kind of Jesus do you think they see?

For me, I am ashamed of they type of Jesus I present to the world at times. That is why it is of paramount importance to always pray every day for the blessing of the Holy Spirit to guide us and help us be the type of ambassadors that would nurture a deep desire for others to immigrate into Christs kingdom and leave their dark world behind. That is truly a task too monumental for us to accomplish on our own.

If we are to be the light of the world we need the fire of the Holy Spirit within us. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Your Personal Offering.

 Whatever you do [whatever your task may be], work from the soul [that is, put in your very best effort], as [something done] for the Lord and not for men. Colossians 3:23 Holy Bible Amplified Version

When I was a tree planter we would get paid by the tree. The more trees you planted the more money you made. Therefore, it was in our best interest to plant as many trees as possible. Most of the planters planted sloppy without care for their quality. I, however always took quality before quantity. At some time during the day I would rest under a tree in the nearby forest and survey the ground just planted. The thought came to me that because those trees were planted with superior quality most would survive. Because most would survive they would provide food, shelter, nests for young to be nurtured, take pollution out of the air and give us clean air in return, prevent soil erosion, help retain watersheds which supplied the rivers and streams the fish dwelled in. It always made me smile and think of nature as Gods Cathedral and I just completed a wonderful renovation on it. I got a reputation as having one of the best quality in the country. Whenever someone would ask me why quality was chosen over quantity it would be explained to them about caring for Gods Cathedral and if you are going to do it, do it right.

Children, no matter how much the world pressures you to cut corners to save the company money or get the assignment do quicker, always put your best effort in your work. It will be noticed and it will cause others to question why? That is a golden opportunity to share Christ.

Yield and Submit.

 “Now yield and submit yourself to Him [agree with God and be conformed to His will] and be at peace; In this way [you will prosper and great] good will come to you. Job 22:21 Holy Bible Amplified Version

It takes the two. It takes the two parts in this verse before you are blessed.

Number one is to stop.

Stop being independent and stubborn. Jehovah cannot and will not ever attempt to help someone who refuses help. We must yield our will and wants and submit unto Him.

The next part is just as difficult.

To submit ourselves unto Jehovah means we are to give Him total control over our lives like a horse submits to the reins of its rider.

Once these two difficult tasks are completed then come the blessing. The blessing may be a physical blessing but there is always a spiritual blessing. The spiritual blessing of course is that there is a lot less stress in your life because you trust Jehovah has control of your life. The same can be said for worry. Instead your life is filled with peace, contentment and a knowledge of security knowing we have a superior being directing and helping us live a Divine life.

Leaving it in Jehovahs hands is the better choice. He knows what He is doing while we only think we know what we are doing. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Have You Ever Tired That?

 Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. Luke 6:12 Holy Bible, New King James Version.

There are two important equations in this text.

The first one is that Jesus went out to a quiet place to commune with Jehovah.

For me the best place to pray where there is deep personal conversation with my Beloved is in Jehovahs Cathedral ( nature). After all where can you not be closest to Him except in His creation where the trees, flowers and streams sing of His peace and beauty while the birds are singing praises unto Him. It fills me with peace and calm. Being relaxed with Him allows me to not only be more open and personal with Him but also where the hustle and bustle of the city does not drown out His voice speaking to me.

The next part is where Jesus prayed all night.

Have you ever tired that? I mean praying all night.

I have prayed for a couple of hours but all night, wow. The only time I can remember praying continually is during intense agony in my life. Then I prayed continually for a week. Throughout it all He gave me strength to endure it and comfort that He was there with me.

Of course we realize that this was the time of Christ’s time of agony before His torture and horrible death on the cross.

So whenever you are in a intense crisis perhaps then you will be able to pray not only all night but for days at a time like I did. Then you too will be strengthened and comforted during your intense time of tribulation.

Prayer: I immensely thank you Jehovah-‘Uzam (The Lord is our Strength in Trouble) for Your patience in listening to the cries of anguish of a cherished child of Yours when we are enduring trials and tribulations. I thank you for Your Divine strength, peace and comfort that enabled me to not only endure them but to grow spiritually and mentally because of them. I exalt You in the name of He who sweated blood during His time of agonizing prayer Jesus Christ. Amen
